Abstract

本发明涉及涂敷一种以聚二烯环氧化物低聚物为主要成分的疏水物质的纤维。这种涂层是由含有至少一种聚二烯环氧化物低聚物、至少一种光引发剂盐和或许一种反应性稀释剂的组合物经光聚合得到的。本发明特别涉及光学纤维。

Description

涂敷疏水材料的纤维
本发明涉及涂敷疏水材料的纤维,更具体地,本发明涉及以聚二烯环氧化物低聚物为主要成分的材料。
现有技术已经描述过用于涂敷光纤维的材料,例如WO 9103498和EP 166926描述了基于改性聚丁二烯低聚物的可光交联配方。
于是,WO 9103498描述了以氨基甲酸酯-丙烯酸酯预聚物为主要成分的可光交联的配方,所述预聚物是通过羟基远螯聚丁二烯与二异氰酸酯反应,然后与不饱和羟基化的化合物反应得到的;这种预聚物再与丙烯酸烷基酯类型的反应性稀释剂和聚合作用的光引发剂混合。
EP 166926描述了同样类型的在UV辐射下可光交联的配方,该配方是由氨基甲酸酯-丙烯酸酯低聚物组成的,而该低聚物是首先通过含氯的羟基远螯聚丁二烯反应,然后与二异氰酸酯反应,最后与不饱和羟基化的化合物、丙烯酸烷基酯类型的反应性稀释剂和光引发剂反应得到的。
这两篇参考文献因此要求保护在自由基聚合过程中在辐照下可光交联光纤维的涂敷配方。本技术领域的技术人员知道这种技术具有下述缺陷:
-由于“暗固化”的不可能性而有交联不完全的危险,由此限制了工业规模的速度
-有与丙烯酸烷基酯类型反应性稀释剂相关的气味
-产生粘性损失的聚合大大减少
-低的起皮性能
-空气的氧抑制聚合
现在发现一种防止纤维潮湿的性能非常好的涂料。
本发明的目的是保护纤维不受外部环境因素的影响(水、热、灰尘、机械作用......)。
采用任何方法在现有的纤维上沉积一种以聚二烯环氧化物低聚物为主要成分的可光聚合的组合物得到本发明的纤维。
这些现有的纤维可以或者是粗制的,即未涂敷的,或者已经涂敷除本发明所描述产品之外的其他产品。
采用阳离子光聚合交联。
这种方法的优点是:
-与高速度相容
-不存在空气氧的抑制作用
-有“暗固化”可能性
-得到柔软而有粘性的涂层
-它基于没有严重气味的配方。
本发明纤维与同样材料,但没有涂敷本发明中所描述的疏水材料的纤维相比,还具有已改善的机械性能。
现在比较详细地描述本发明。
本发明涉及任何类型的纤维,例如纺织纤维、金属纤维或玻璃纤维。
关于玻璃纤维,可以列举光纤维或玻璃纤维,例如可使用这些纤维去增强材料。在纺织纤维中,可以列举聚酯、聚酰胺、聚氨酯。在金属纤维中,可以列举钢、铜、铝。
这些可涂敷本发明纤维的疏水材料是通过一种含有至少一种聚二烯环氧化物的低聚物、至少一种光引发剂盐和或许一种反应性稀释剂的组合物的光聚合得到的。
这种聚二烯环氧化物的低聚物分子量Mn可以是500-10000克/摩尔,优选地是1000-5000克/摩尔。该二烯是共轭二烯,可以选自于丁二烯、异戊二烯、氯戊二烯、1,3-戊二烯或环戊二烯。这种低聚物在其链上过氧化。这种低聚物还可以采用OH官能或过氧化物在链端官能化。它还可以部分被氢化。
有利地,该二烯是丁二烯。
优选地,聚二烯环氧化物的低聚物是一种在其链上已环氧化的、在该链每个端有一个OH(羟基远螯的)的聚丁二烯二醇,在环氧化作用之前所述聚丁二烯二醇含有70-80%,优选地75%结构单元1,4
-CH2-CH=CH-CH2-
和15-30%,优选地是25%结构单元1,2或乙烯基
如果除了共轭二烯之外还有如苯乙烯和丙烯腈之类的乙烯或丙烯的共聚用单体,则不超出本发明的范围。聚二烯环氧化物低聚物的环氧化物官能的量可以至多25%,优选地是1-8%。有利地,它的粘度在30℃低于100帕·秒,优选地是在30℃低于40帕·秒。
可以列举Elf Atochem公司的Poly Bd 600/605、Idemitsu Petrochemial公司的Poly Bd R 45 EPI和Shell公司的Kraton Liquid Polymer EKP 206和207。
这些光引发剂盐是在UV辐照下能够产生一种强酸的盐,以便引发该系统阳离子聚合。作为实例,可以列举六氟磷的三芳基锍和六氟锑的三芳基锍。
采用电子束聚合也不超出本发明的范围。
光引发剂的量是与过氧化物官能的数量和所要求聚合速度相关的。
光引发剂盐的量可以是每100份聚过氧化二烯低聚物直到10份,有利地为0.01-10份。
待聚合组合物还可以含有一种反应性稀释剂。
这种反应性稀释剂的作用是降低聚过氧化二烯低聚物的粘度,同时增加反应性官能的重量比例。
可以列举如下环氧化物树脂:
3,4’-环氧化环己烷羧酸-3,4-过氧化环己基甲酯
柠檬烯的环氧化物
环己烯的环氧化物
1,2-环氧十二烷。
可以列举下述乙烯醚:
三乙二醇二乙烯醚
1,4-丁二醇单-烯醚
1,4-双乙烯氧基甲基环己烷。
这种反应性稀释剂的量可以是每100份聚二烯环氧化物低聚物直到500份,优选地是0-200份。
这些组合物还可以含有如下添加剂:
溶剂
增塑剂
改善基质上的涂层润湿的表面活性剂
展着剂
消泡剂
matant剂
流变剂
抗氧化剂、抗UV剂,以保护光聚合涂层,但是它并不影响光聚合。希望排除抑制阳离子聚合的任何已知的碱性粒种的配方。
本发明的纤维具有非常良好的耐水解性能和良好的机械性能。该涂层具有级好的在纤维上的粘着性。制造这些涂敷纤维是非常简单的。其优点是阳离子光聚合,即暗固化,不被空气氧抑制和许可高速度。
特别地,这些纤维除层对以石油脂肪为主要成分的配方没有相反的影响。
实施例
使用下述产品:
聚二烯环氧化物低聚物:
Poly Bd 605:Elf Atochem公司的环氧化羟基远螯聚丁二烯,它具有5.5-7%环氧化物,在25℃的粘度为200-300p。
光引发盐:
FX 512:3M公司的六氟磷酸三芳基锍类光引发剂盐。
UVI 6974:联合碳化物公司的六氟锑三芳基锍类光引发剂盐。
反应性稀释剂
1,4-丁二醇单乙烯醚:ISP公司的乙烯醚。
Cyracure UVR 6110:联合碳化物公司的双官能环脂族环氧化物。
添加剂:
Fluorad FC 430:3M公司的含氟表面活性剂
No Air Liquid:Barlocher公司的消泡剂。
这些配方借助PRIMARC公司的MINICURE类光聚合层在UV辐照下进行交联。

Crayon硬度是根据ASTM D3363标准测定的

配方的粘度是用配置保温容器的Brookfield DV III粘度仪测定的。
当以10℃/分钟速度在升温范围内二次加热时,采用DSC测定玻璃态转化粘度。

玻璃纤维-纤维的机械性能
在这些试验中,我们测定了不同玻璃纤维的拉伸机械强度,这些玻璃纤维或者仅涂敷了原始涂层(拉制纤维时沉积的),或者除了原始涂层外还有一层表1配方3的涂层。

Claims (5)

1.带涂层的纤维,包括疏水物质,疏水物质以聚二烯环氧化物低聚物为主要成分,其中该涂层由含有至少一种聚二烯环氧化物低聚物、至少一种光引发剂盐和或许一种反应性稀释剂的组合物经光聚合得到。
2.根据权利要求1的带涂层的纤维,其中所述二烯是共轭二烯。
3.根据权利要求2的带涂层的纤维,其中所述聚二烯环氧化物低聚物是在其链上环氧化的羟基远螯聚丁二烯。
4.根据权利要求1的带涂层的纤维,其中所述纤维选自玻璃纤维、金属纤维和纺织纤维。
5.根据权利要求2的带涂层的带涂层的纤维,其中所述二烯是丁二烯。
