Technical Field
The present invention relates to a rectangular connector for connection with a PCB.
Background
Rectangular connectors are connectors that are substantially rectangular in shape and have a substantially rectangular mating surface, and are also an important class of connector families. The existing connector has the problem that the wire outlet direction of the contact pin is the same as the opposite plug direction of the male head and the female head, the contact pin cannot be connected with a PCB with different opposite plug directions of the male head and the female head, and the contact pin with the structure cannot be reliably connected with the PCB. When the number of pins of the rectangular connector is determined, the conventional rectangular connector cannot be connected with each other to expand, and has a plurality of limitations when applied to different occasions.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to overcome the defects in the prior art, and provides a rectangular connector for connecting with a PCB.
The rectangular connector for connecting with the PCB comprises a male head and a female head, wherein the male head comprises a plug and a plug cover, a plurality of contact pins are arranged between the plug and the plug cover, the female head comprises a socket and an outer frame, and pin holes corresponding to the contact pins respectively are arranged in the socket.
Wherein, the plug cover below is provided with a plurality of spliced poles, is provided with a plurality of jacks with each spliced pole one-to-one on the plug, and each spliced pole outside is provided with a plurality of bellied muscle for spliced pole and jack form interference fit.
The plug is provided with a pin mounting block, the pin mounting block is used for fixing the PCB connecting end of each pin, and the socket connecting end is connected with the socket.
The mounting block is provided with L-shaped contact pin mounting grooves, the lower ends of the contact pins are respectively arranged in the contact pin mounting grooves and are pressed and fixed in the contact pin mounting grooves by the lower edges of the contact pin covers.
The lower edge of the plug cover is provided with a notch matched with the surface of each contact pin.

The invention has the following beneficial effects:
the single rectangular connector is provided with 32 cores, can be connected with another identical rectangular connector, is assembled together through the butt joint part after rotating the other rectangular connector by 180 degrees to form a 64-core product, and has the advantages of simple and reliable structural design, simple assembly, convenient use and effective reduction of the product cost.

The invention will be further described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
As shown in fig. 1 to 6, the rectangular connector for connecting with a PCB of the present invention includes a male head and a female head, wherein the male head is fixedly disposed on the PCB when in use, the male head includes a plug 1 and a plug cover 2, a plurality of pins 3 are disposed between the plug 1 and the plug cover 2, the female head includes a socket 4 and an outer frame 5, and pin holes 6 corresponding to the pins 3 are disposed in the socket 4. A pin mounting block 7 is provided on the plug cover 2, each pin 3 includes a PCB connection end and a socket connection end, and the pins 3 are provided on the pin mounting block 7. Each pin 3 is L-shaped, wherein the PCB connection end is configured to be connected to the PCB board, the socket connection end is connected to the socket 4, and the dimensions of the PCB connection end and the socket connection end are different, and in a preferred embodiment, the dimensions of the PCB connection end are smaller than those of the socket connection end. The plug 1 both ends are provided with bayonet socket 13, and the bayonet socket lid 2 both ends set up the buckle 21 that corresponds with bayonet socket 13, and buckle 21 is the boss, is provided with the connecting hole on the bayonet socket 13, connecting hole and boss looks adaptation. The two sides of the buckle 21 are provided with baffle plates, and the bayonet 13 is positioned between the baffle plates at the two sides of the buckle 21 after being connected with the buckle 21. The two sides of the plug cover 2 or the opposite side of the plug cover 2 to the PCB connection end of the pin 3 are provided with a butting part for butting the two rectangular connectors. The docking component includes a plurality of docking posts 81 and docking holes 82. A plurality of connecting columns 22 are arranged below the plug cover 2, a plurality of jacks 14 which are in one-to-one correspondence with the connecting columns 22 are arranged on the plug 1, and a plurality of raised ribs 24 are arranged on the outer side of each connecting column 22, so that the connecting columns 22 and the jacks 13 form interference fit.
As shown in fig. 1-3, 5 and 6, the L-shaped pin 3 of the present invention comprises two forms of a long pin and a short pin, a plurality of L-shaped recesses 71 are provided on the pin mounting block 7, PCB connection ends of the short pins are respectively provided in the L-shaped recesses 71, a plurality of notches 23 adapted to the PCB connection end surfaces of the pins are provided on the lower edge of the pin cover 2, after the pin cover 2 is connected with the plug 1, the PCB connection ends of the short pins 3 are pressed in the L-shaped recesses 71 by the notches 23 on the lower edge of the pin cover 2, and a plurality of notches 23 are symmetrically provided on the two lower edges of the pin cover 2.
The other end of the pin mounting block 7 is provided with a vertical groove 72, the vertical groove 72 is communicated with a hole 73 arranged in the bottom of the pin mounting block 7, the socket connection end of the other long pin 3 is arranged in the vertical groove 72, and the PCB connection end part is arranged in the hole 73 in the bottom of the mounting block. When the plug cover 2 is connected to the plug 1, each long pin 3 is fixed between the plug 1 and the plug cover 2.
As shown in fig. 1 and 4, a protrusion 12 for preventing reverse insertion is provided on one side surface of the plug 1, and a groove 11 to be engaged with the protrusion 12 for preventing reverse insertion is provided on a surface of the receptacle 4 to be engaged with the side surface of the plug 1.
As a specific embodiment, the rectangular connector of the invention is a 32-bit rectangular connector, comprising 32 pins 3, which are divided into two rows, wherein one row (16) of short pins and one row (16) of long pins arranged behind the row of short pins, and the lower ends of the long pins are positioned below the connecting ends of the short pins and the PCB. When the contact pin is installed, the short contact pin and the long contact pin can be respectively installed behind the contact pin installation block 7, the plug 1 is connected with the plug head cover 2, or the long contact pin is firstly arranged in the plug installation block 1, the short contact pin is placed in a notch 23 arranged at the bottom of the plug head cover 2, and then the plug head cover 2 is connected with the plug 1. As shown in fig. 7, when the 32-bit rectangular connector is required to be expanded into a 64-bit rectangular connector for use, a first rectangular connector is assembled as shown in fig. 1, after the pin 3 is assembled to the pin mounting block 7 in the assembling process, the assembly formed by the pin 3, the pin mounting block 7 and the plug 1 is horizontally rotated 180 ° and the other assembling processes are unchanged, so that the obtained second rectangular connector is horizontally rotated 180 ° to be connected with the first rectangular connector through the butting posts 81 and the butting holes 82, a 64-bit male connector is formed, the outer frame 5 is selected to be capable of accommodating the outer frames 5 of two rectangular connectors at the same time, and the plug covers 2 of the two rectangular connectors are accommodated in the inner parts of the outer frames, namely, the 64-bit connector is formed. And a PCB is arranged between the two rectangular connectors, and each contact pin is welded with the PCB respectively.
If the connector is to be expanded into a 96-bit rectangular connector, the two sides of the plug cover 2 of the second rectangular connector are provided with the butting posts 81 and the butting holes 82, the assembly process of the second rectangular connector is repeated, and then the third rectangular connector is connected with the second rectangular connector through the butting posts and the butting holes. The female head adopts standard direct-insertion type contact pins, the direct-insertion type contact pins in the female head are used for being connected with contact pins 3 arranged in the male head, after the incoming wires are fixed in the contact pins by using special tools, the incoming wires can be directly inserted into the socket 4 and the contact pin holes 6, the end parts of the bending parts (namely the parts arranged on the contact pin installation blocks) of the contact pins 3 are provided with narrowing parts, and the narrowing parts can be welded on a PCB. If the connector needs to be expanded into a connector with a larger number of digits, the process is only needed to be repeated.
