The marking apparatus as claimed in claim 2 wherein the guide assembly comprises guide bars arranged in pairs, the guide bars arranged in pairs being mounted on respective mounting plates, each guide bar having a curved section and a straight section, the curved section being located between the straight section and the roller, the guide bars arranged in pairs being spaced apart to form a gripping channel for the marking paper to pass through.
