6. The food slicer of claim 1, wherein the feed assembly includes a pusher bar and an upper cover, the upper cover disposed above the cutterhead, the upper cover including a feed tube for feeding the cutterhead, the pusher bar being insertable within the feed tube.
7. The food slicer of claim 6, wherein the axis of rotation of the impeller is located within a projection of the feed tube on a horizontal plane.
8. The food slicer of claim 1, wherein the cassette cutter head assembly includes blades, the blades including a linear blade edge and a toothed blade edge, the cutter head having a radial blade opening for receiving the linear blade edge and a burr receiving slot for receiving the toothed blade edge.
9. The food slicer of claim 8, wherein the blade apertures and the burr mounting slots are angled such that the burr mounting slots are forward and the blade apertures are rearward along the direction of rotation of the cutterhead.
10. The food slicer of claim 6, wherein the bottom of the kick-bar is provided with positioning teeth.
