Abstract
本发明涉及脱水组合物以及用所述脱水组合物干燥气流(特别是天然气流)的使用方法,其中脱水组合物包含(i)二醇,(ii)硼酸盐化合物,(iii)碱金属羧酸盐,和(iv)不同于(i)的另外的二醇,和/或(v)选自链烷醇胺、磷酸或磷酸盐化合物、甜味剂、低温粘度改进剂、腐蚀抑制剂、消泡剂或其混合物的另外的添加剂。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及用于干燥气流,特别是天然气流的组合物及其使用方法,其中所述组合物包含三甘醇。所述三甘醇组合物特别适用于使包含水的气流脱水。
背景技术
气体例如天然气,通常含有不同量的水蒸气。期望的是天然气管道中不允许水汽进入。水蒸气的存在是不期望的,因为水蒸气可能导致管道腐蚀并导致气体管道传输系统中的阀门和配件的腐蚀和故障。此外,较小量的水或湿气可能会冻结和堵塞管道,使得流动完全停止或至少受到很大限制。
从气流如天然气中去除水分的常用方法是使用以二醇作为溶剂的气体脱水装置。在这样的装置中,湿气在吸收步骤中与贫干燥剂溶液如二醇接触以除去水。通常使用的二醇是三甘醇(TEG),其次是其它二醇如二甘醇(DEG)或乙二醇(EG)。然后将富二醇(即,含有水的二醇)送入通常包含再沸器的再浓缩或再生过程,吸收的水在此过程中被驱出并除去,从而使再生的二醇再利用。
然而,这里出现了麻烦的问题,因为简单加热干燥剂可能不会除去足量的水。气体干燥操作的效率是再生脱水剂中残留水的函数。在再生期间提高温度倾向于驱除更多的水分,但是使用过量的热量也会促进脱水剂通过形成热解产物而降解。这些热解产物继而进一步降低脱水剂的有效性。
此外,这种热解产物可能会产生在气体脱水装置中可能产生腐蚀问题的酸。为了防止腐蚀,干燥剂组合物可以包含腐蚀抑制剂,例如链烷醇胺。常用的链烷醇胺为例如单乙醇胺、二乙醇胺、三乙醇胺等。然而,链烷醇胺在脱水再沸器温度下可能是挥发性的和/或热不稳定的。
因此,仍然需要一种具有改善的热稳定性、具有腐蚀抑制性能的干燥剂溶液。
发明内容
本发明是一种脱水组合物和使用气体脱水组合物除去包含水的气体中的水的方法,所述气体脱水组合物包含下述组分、基本上由下述组分组成或者由下述组分组成:i.60重量%至99.9重量%的二醇,ii.0.1重量%至10重量%的硼酸盐化合物,iii.0.01-10重量%的碱金属羧酸盐,iv.0-30重量%的不同于i的另外的二醇,和v.0-25重量%的选自链烷醇胺、磷酸或磷酸盐化合物、甜味剂、低温粘度改进剂、腐蚀抑制剂、消泡剂或其混合物的另外的添加剂,其中重量%基于脱水组合物的总重量。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,在上文公开的脱水组合物中,二醇是单乙二醇、二甘醇、三甘醇、四甘醇、单丙二醇、二丙二醇、三丙二醇、四丙二醇或甘油,优选三甘醇,硼酸盐化合物是硼酸、偏硼酸、偏硼酸钠、四硼酸、四硼酸钠、四硼酸钾、它们相应的水合物、或它们的混合物,优选四硼酸钠,碱金属盐是乙酸钠、乙酸钾、甲酸钠、甲酸钾、碳酸氢钠、碳酸氢钾、乙醇酸钠、乙醇酸钾、乳酸钠、乳酸钾、其相应的水合物、或它们的混合物,优选乙酸钠,并且另外的二醇为单乙二醇、二甘醇、三甘醇、四甘醇、单丙二醇、二丙二醇、三丙二醇、四丙二醇、甘油、或其混合物。
在本发明方法的一个实施方案中,气体是天然气。
在另一个实施方案中,本发明的方法包括步骤(a)使所述气体在连续逆流接触区与所述脱水组合物接触,优选进一步包括步骤(b)使所述富含水的脱水组合物在120℃至225℃的温度下再生以形成贫脱水组合物,和(c)使用全部或部分再生的贫脱水组合物重复步骤a。
具体实施方式
本发明的脱水组合物可以用于从包含水的任何气体中除去水,它们特别适用于从包含水的任何气体中除去水,并且特别适合与原始的和/或处理过的天然气一起使用。原始天然气来自三种类型的井:油井、气井和凝析井。来自油井的天然气通常被称为“伴生气”。这种气体在形成时可以与地层中的油分离(游离气体),或者溶解在原油中(溶解气体)。来自气井和凝析井的天然气,其中很少或没有原油,被称为“非伴生气”。气井本身通常生产原始天然气,而凝析井产生游离天然气以及半液态烃凝析油。无论天然气的来源是什么,一旦与原油(如果存在)分离,它通常以甲烷和其它烃、水、盐和其它杂质如酸性气体的混合物存在。如下文所使用的术语“天然气”包括包含水的任何天然气源,包括原始的或经处理的天然气。经处理的天然气是经处理一次或多次以去除一种或多种杂质的原始天然气。
使用二醇使气态流体脱水的方法在本领域中是众所周知的,例如在USP2,988,171中所述方法和Kohl等人在“Gas Purification”第4版,1985,Gulf Publishing Company中所述。然而,对于本领域技术人员而言显而易见的是,这样的逆流系统也可以用于干燥其它气体。这些已知的方法可以与本发明的脱水组合物一起使用。优选地,气体在连续逆流过程与脱水组合物接触。当气态流体是天然气时,该过程通常将气体送入配备有挡板、塔盘、无规填充、规整填充或其组合的吸收器装置的底部,其中气体在接触区与贫脱水组合物逆流地接触以除去水。干燥的气体从吸收器装置的顶部离开,富脱水组合物从吸收器装置的底部被移除并且被泵送到一系列热交换器或者闪蒸罐或更大的装置。在闪蒸罐之后,或者富脱水组合物直接从较小的吸收器装置经过一系列热交换器和过滤器,然后进入蒸馏器和再生器,其中水从脱水组合物中被汽提出来。
待脱水气体的温度和压力可以对本发明的方法产生影响。例如,对于主要含有甲烷的天然气,待脱水气体的温度通常在大约20℃至45℃的范围内,当从其地下来源排放时,已从较高的温度降低。脱水期间的压力通常增加到约500-1000psi之间。在此温度下,气体将含有约0.5-5重量%的水。
本发明的富含水的脱水组合物被泵送通过包括各种过滤器、汽提器、热交换器等的闭合环路(其中吸收器是其一部分),和再沸器。在再沸器中本发明的富水脱水组合物通常被加热并保持在150℃至约225℃的温度下,优选在170℃至220℃的温度下,从而将水驱出。然后,本发明的全部或部分所得贫再生脱水组合物可以通过环路的其余部分返回到吸收器,再次与包含水的天然气进行逆流交换。
在一个实施方案中,用于本发明的脱水组合物包含一种或多种二醇、硼酸盐化合物(ii)和碱金属羧酸盐(iii)。
在另一个实施方案中,用于本发明的脱水组合物基本上由一种或多种二醇、硼酸盐化合物(ii)和碱金属羧酸盐(iii)组成。
在又一个实施方案中,用于本发明的脱水组合物由一种或多种二醇、硼酸盐化合物和碱金属羧酸盐组成。
通常用作组分(i)的二醇是单、二、三和四甘醇和一、二、三和四丙二醇。然而,可以使用五和六甘醇以及五和六丙二醇;较高级的二醇具有较高的粘度,使其不太适用于本申请。另外,较高级的二醇可以共吸收较高浓度的烃,这可能不利于甲烷、乙烷或丙烷流脱水过程。优选地,二醇选自三甘醇、乙二醇(单乙二醇)、二甘醇、三丙二醇或其混合物。更优选的二醇是三甘醇。以脱水组合物的总重量计,二醇以60-99.9重量%的量存在。优选地,以脱水组合物的总重量计,二醇在脱水组合物中的存在量等于或大于60重量%,更优选等于或大于70重量%,更优选等于或大于80重量%,并且甚至更优选等于或大于85重量%。优选地,以脱水组合物的总重量计,二醇在脱水组合物中的存在量等于或小于99.9重量%,更优选等于或小于99.5重量%,更优选等于或小于99重量%,更优选等于或小于95重量%,甚至更优选等于或小于90重量%。
可用于本发明脱水组合物中的硼酸盐化合物可以是脱水组合物中的任何硼酸盐,包括碱金属偏硼酸盐和四硼酸盐。有用的硼酸盐包括硼酸、偏硼酸、偏硼酸钠、四硼酸、四硼酸钠、四硼酸钾及其相应的水合物。硼酸盐化合物的用量为以脱水组合物总重量计可提供0.05-10重量%的硼酸根离子。优选地,以脱水组合物的总重量计,硼酸盐化合物在脱水组合物中的存在量等于或大于0.05重量%,更优选等于或大于0.1重量%,更优选等于或大于0.2重量%,甚至更优选等于或大于0.4重量%。优选地,以脱水组合物的总重量计,硼酸盐化合物在脱水组合物中的存在量等于或小于10重量%,更优选等于或小于5重量%,更优选等于或小于4重量%,甚至更优选等于或小于3重量%。
本发明的脱水组合物还含有碱金属羧酸盐(iii)。合适的碱金属羧酸盐是乙酸钠、乙酸钾、甲酸钠、甲酸钾、碳酸氢钠、碳酸氢钾、乙醇酸钠、乙醇酸钾、乳酸钠或乳酸钾以及它们的水合物,优选乙酸钠。以脱水组合物的总重量计,碱金属羧酸盐(iii)以0.01至10重量%的量存在于本发明的脱水组合物中。如果存在的话,以脱水组合物的总重量计,碱金属羧酸盐(iii)以等于或大于0.01重量%,更优选等于或大于0.05重量%,更优选等于或大于0.1重量%,并且甚至更优选等于或大于0.2重量%的量存在于脱水组合物中。以脱水组合物的总重量计,碱金属羧酸盐(iii)以等于或小于10重量%,更优选等于或小于7.5重量%,更优选等于或小于5重量%,更优选等于或小于2.5重量%,甚至更优选小于或等于2重量%的量存在于脱水组合物中。
本发明的脱水组合物可以含有少量的一种或多种不同于二醇(i)的二醇(iv),条件是其它二醇的存在不会对脱水组合物的有用温度范围或热稳定性产生不利影响。合适的另外的二醇是单乙二醇、二甘醇、三甘醇、单丙二醇、四甘醇、五甘醇和甘油。如果存在,以脱水组合物的总重量计,一种或多种二醇(iv)以等于或大于0.1重量%,更优选等于或大于1重量%,更优选等于或大于2重量%,甚至更优选等于或大于5重量%的量存在于脱水组合物中。如果存在,以脱水组合物的总重量计,一种或多种二醇(iv)以等于或小于30重量%,更优选等于或小于25重量%,更优选等于或小于20重量%,甚至更优选等于或小于15重量%的量存在于脱水组合物中。
为了防腐目的,必须控制本发明的脱水组合物的pH值,无论脱水组合物是浓缩液还是稀释液。所述组合物应具有等于或大于7至等于或小于11的pH。优选地,本发明的脱水组合物具有等于或大于7,更优选等于或大于7.5,更优选等于或大于8的pH。优选地,本发明的脱水组合物具有等于或小于11,更优选等于或小于10,更优选等于或小于9的pH。
通过在本文指定的范围内适当调节硼酸盐化合物来提供pH值的控制,硼酸盐充当缓冲剂以将pH保持在期望的范围内。
本发明的脱水组合物可进一步包含一种或多种另外的组分(v),包括但不限于:链烷醇胺如单乙醇胺(MEA)、二乙醇胺(DEA)、甲基二乙醇胺(MDEA)或三乙醇胺(TEA),参见通过引用整体并入本文的USP 3349544;磷酸或磷酸盐化合物,例如磷酸、磷酸钾、磷酸二钾、磷酸二钠或磷酸三钠,参见通过引用整体并入本文的USP 2384553;甜味剂,例如环丁砜、聚乙二醇的醚;低温粘度改进剂,例如碳酸亚丙酯、二甲基甲酰胺或N-取代的吗啉化合物;消泡剂,例如基于硅氧烷的消泡剂和基于EO/PO的消泡剂如聚硅氧烷和聚丙二醇共聚物,或腐蚀抑制剂。如果存在的话,以脱水组合物的总重量计,这些成分独立地以0.01重量%至25重量%、优选0.1重量%至10重量%的量使用。
实施例
本发明的脱水组合物包含以下的一种或多种:
“TEG”是可从Alfa Aesar以99%纯度获得的三甘醇;
“GLY”是得自Fisher认证的ACS级的甘油;
“B(OH)3”是可得自Sigma Aldrich的纯度为99.5%的硼酸,
“Na2B4O7”是以99%纯度购自Sigma Aldrich的四硼酸钠,
“NaAc”是可从Sigma Aldrich获得的乙酸钠,纯度为99%,
“NaFor”是以99%纯度购自Sigma Aldrich的甲酸钠,
“NaGly”是以99%纯度购自Sigma Aldrich的乙醇酸钠,
和
“NaLac”是以99%纯度购自Sigma Aldrich的乳酸钠,
用于比较实施例A至F和实施例1至7的组合物示于表1中,以脱水组合物的总重量计,用量以重量%表示。

气体脱水组合物的pH稳定性:
本文测试的脱水组合物的pH稳定性通过将12克待测试的脱水组合物置于15mL不锈钢样品罐中测定。将溶液在氮气氛下密封并置于220℃的烘箱中。降解的程度通过测试老化之前和之后各个时间点的保留碱度来进行评估。总碱度分析使用自动滴定仪MettlerToledo T90进行。使用购自Fisher Scientific的盐酸(HCl)以10g样品量在0.5N浓度下进行滴定。总碱度定义为将10g分析物滴定至pH 6.5所需的HCl量。%缓冲液消耗定义为消耗的pH缓冲剂的百分比,并且使用以下等式计算:([老化前的总碱度]-[老化后的总碱度])/[老化前的总碱度]。稳定性测试结果在表2中示出。

Claims (11)
1.一种气体脱水组合物,其包含:
i.60至99.9重量%的二醇,
ii.0.1至10重量%的硼酸盐化合物,
iii.0.01至10重量%的碱金属羧酸盐,
iv.0至30重量%的不同于i的另外的二醇,
和
v.0至25重量%的选自链烷醇胺、磷酸或磷酸盐化合物、甜味剂、低温粘度改进剂、腐蚀抑制剂、消泡剂或其混合物的另外的添加剂,
其中重量%以所述脱水组合物的总重量计。
2.根据权利要求1所述的气体脱水组合物,其中
i.所述二醇是单乙二醇、二甘醇、三甘醇、四甘醇、单丙二醇、二丙二醇、三丙二醇、四丙二醇或甘油,
ii.所述硼酸盐化合物为硼酸、偏硼酸、偏硼酸钠、四硼酸、四硼酸钠、四硼酸钾、它们相应的水合物、或其混合物,
iii.所述碱金属盐是乙酸钠、乙酸钾、甲酸钠、甲酸钾、碳酸氢钠、碳酸氢钾、乙醇酸钠、乙醇酸钾、乳酸钠、乳酸钾、它们相应的水合物、或其混合物,
和

i.所述二醇是三甘醇,
ii.所述硼酸盐化合物是四硼酸钠,
和

4.根据权利要求3所述的组合物,其进一步包含
iv.量为0.1至30重量%的甘油。
5.一种使用气体脱水组合物从包含水的气体去除水的方法,所述气体脱水组合物包含:
i.60至99.9重量%的二醇,
ii.0.1至10重量%的硼酸盐化合物,
iii.0.01至10重量%的碱金属羧酸盐,
iv.0至30重量%的不同于i的另外的二醇,
和
v.0至25重量%的选自链烷醇胺、磷酸或磷酸盐化合物、甜味剂、低温粘度改进剂、腐蚀抑制剂、消泡剂或其混合物的另外的添加剂,
其中重量%以所述脱水组合物的总重量计。
6.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其中

iv.量为0.1至30重量%的甘油。
9.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其中所述气体是天然气。
10.根据权利要求5所述的方法,其包含以下步骤:
a.使所述气体在连续逆流接触区与所述脱水组合物接触,以形成富含水的脱水组合物。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方法,其还包含以下步骤:
b.在120℃至225℃的温度下再生所述富含水的脱水组合物以形成贫脱水组合物
和
c.使用全部或部分再生的贫脱水组合物重复步骤a。
