本发明公开了一种锂离子电池的非水电解液,包括溶剂、锂盐、焦酸盐类添加剂、氟代酯类添加剂和有机腈类添加剂;其中,溶剂100重量份;焦酸盐类添加剂0.1‑10重量份;氟代碳酸酯类添加剂0.2‑10重量份;有机腈类添加剂0.2‑10重量份;所述的溶剂为环状碳酸酯和/或链状碳酸酯,锂盐在溶剂中的摩尔浓度为0.8‑1.5mol/L。本发明通过焦酸盐、氟代碳酸酯类添加剂和有机腈类添加剂的联合使用,可以提高电解液的耐氧化性、电解液的浸润性、在初次化成时的正极CEI膜的耐氧化性,负极SEI膜的稳定性,明显改善高电压常温循环性能,低温循环性能和高温存储性能。
Description
[技术领域]
本发明涉及锂离子电池电解液,尤其涉及一种高电压锂离子电池的非水电解液。
[背景技术]
目前使用的锂离子电池正极材料,如LiCo02、LiMn2O4,LiCoNiMnO2,LiFePO4等工作电压低在4V以下,克容量为90-150mg/g。提升电池能量密度的办法主要有2种,一种是提高传统正极材料的充电截止电压,例如将钴酸锂充电电压提升至4.35V、4.4V,其电池的容量可以提升15%左右,但靠提升充电截止电压的办法是有限的,进一步的提升会导致钴酸锂过度脱锂时结构的稳定性差。
但是,随着工作电压及充电截止电压的提高,正极材料的氧化活性提高,正极活性物质与电解液的反应也随之加速,导致电池在高电压下气胀严重,循环性能降低,严重制约了正极材料性能的发挥。
[发明内容]
本发明要解决的技术问题是提供一种充放电循环性能优良的高电压锂离子电池的非水电解液。
为了解决上述技术问题,本发明采用的技术方案是,一种锂离子电池的非水电解液,包括溶剂、锂盐、焦酸盐类添加剂、氟代酯类添加剂和有机腈类添加剂;其中,
所述的溶剂为环状碳酸酯和/或链状碳酸酯,锂盐在溶剂中的摩尔浓度为0.8-1.5mol/L。
以上所述的非水电解液,所述的环状碳酸酯为碳酸乙烯酯、碳酸丙烯酯和氟代碳酸乙烯酯或γ-丁内酯中的至少一种。
以上所述的高电压锂离子电池的非水电解液,所述的链状碳酸酯为碳酸二甲酯、碳酸二乙酯、碳酸甲乙酯、碳酸甲丙酯和碳酸乙丙酯中的至少一种。
以上所述的非水电解液,所述的氟代酯类添加剂为氟代碳酸乙烯酯和/或二氟代碳酸乙烯酯。
以上所述的非水电解液,所述的焦酸盐类添加剂为焦硫酸钠、焦硫酸锂、焦亚硫酸钠、焦亚硫酸锂、焦硫酸钾、焦磷酸钠、焦硫酸铯和焦磷酸铯中的至少一种。
以上所述的非水电解液,所述的有机腈类添加为丁二腈(110-61-2)、己二腈(111-69-3)、戊二腈(544-13-8)、3,3'-氧二丙腈(CAS:1656-48-0)、乙二醇双(丙腈)醚(CAS:3386-87-6)、1,2,3-三(2-氰氧基)丙烷(2465-93-2)、1,3,5戊三甲腈(4379-04-8)、1,2,3丙三甲腈(62872-44-0)和1,3,6己烷三腈(1772-25-4)中的至少一种。
以上所述的非水电解液,所述锂盐为LiPF6、LiBF4、LiClO4、LiBOB、LiDFOB、LiFAP、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiCF3S03、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiN(SO2C2F5)2、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiN(SO2C4F9)2、LiC(SO2CF3)3、LiPF3(C3F7)3、LiB(CF3)4、LiBF3(C2F5)、LiPO2F2、LiDMSI(二氟甲基环二磺酰亚胺锂),LiTESI(四氟乙基环双磺酰亚胺锂)、LiHPSI(六氟丙基环双磺酰亚胺锂)或LiPF4C2O4中的一种或一种以上的混合物。
本发明通过焦酸盐、氟代碳酸酯类添加剂和有机腈类添加剂的联合使用,可以提高电解液的耐氧化性、电解液的浸润性、在初次化成时的正极CEI膜的耐氧化性,负极SEI膜的稳定性,明显改善高电压常温循环性能,低温循环性能和高温存储性能。
[具体实施方式]
本发明的高电压锂离子电池的非水电解液,由溶剂、锂盐、焦酸盐类添加剂、氟代酯类添加剂、有机腈类添加剂和常用锂电池电解液添加剂组成组成。其中,溶剂100重量份;焦酸盐类添加剂0.1-10重量份;氟代碳酸酯类添加剂0.2-10重量份;有机腈类添加剂0.2-10重量份;常用锂电池电解液添加剂0-10重量份;溶剂为环状碳酸酯和/或链状碳酸酯,锂盐在溶剂中的摩尔浓度为0.8-1.5mol/L。
焦酸盐用于化成及循环过程中在负极表面形成稳定的含硫的SEI膜,可以保证电池具有优异的循环性能,其形成的SEI膜中含有硫化合物,形成SEI具有较好热稳定性,因此表现出较好的高温储存性能,同时推测焦酸盐可以吸水,从而起到部分除水的作用。
氟代碳酸酯类添加剂借助F元素的吸电子效应,还有利于提高溶剂分子在碳负极表面的还原电位,优化固体电解质界面膜,改善电解液与活性材料的相容性,进而稳定电极的电化学性能,具有较好的耐抗氧化能力,可以显著改善高电压电池的循环性能。
虽然有机腈类物质能够抑制电解液的分解,抑制胀气,并可以捕获溶出的金属离子,但是在正极成膜后,正极阻抗变大,循环性能有所降低。因此,腈类的添加量选择为0.2-10重量份,虽然FEC可以改善循环性能,但是FEC在高温下会产生HF,HF对电解液溶剂的分解有催化作用,因而加入FEC会使得电池的高温存储性能变差。因此,FEC的添加量选择为0.2-10重量份。
有机腈类物质能吸收少量水和HF,形成酰胺类物质,降低由于HF和POF3等的催化,使电解液溶剂分解造成的高温胀气;腈类物质在首次充放电过程中会在正极表面形成稳定膜,有效抑制正极氧化电解液,从而抑制高温胀气,改善高温存储和循环性能。以上三种添加剂的联合使用可以显著改善电解液在高电压条件下的正负极CEI膜和SEI的稳定性,有效抑制溶剂氧化分解,从而提高电解液在高电压条件下的循环性能。
环状碳酸酯优选为碳酸乙烯酯(EC)、碳酸丙烯酯(PC)、氟代碳酸乙烯酯(FEC)和γ-丁内酯(GBL)中的至少一种;
链状碳酸酯优选为碳酸二甲酯(DMC)、碳酸二乙酯(DEC)、碳酸甲乙酯(EMC)、碳酸甲丙酯(MPC)和碳酸乙丙酯(EPC)中的至少一种。
氟代酯类添加剂为氟代碳酸乙烯酯和/或二氟代碳酸乙烯酯。
焦酸盐类添加剂为焦硫酸钠、焦硫酸锂、焦亚硫酸钠、焦亚硫酸锂、焦硫酸钾、焦磷酸钠、焦硫酸铯、焦磷酸铯等中的至少一种。
有机腈类添加为丁二腈(110-61-2)、己二腈(111-69-3)、戊二腈(544-13-8)、3,3'-氧二丙腈(CAS:1656-48-0)、乙二醇双(丙腈)醚(CAS:3386-87-6)、1,2,3-三(2-氰氧基)丙烷(2465-93-2)、1,3,5戊三甲腈(4379-04-8)、1,2,3丙三甲腈(62872-44-0)、1,3,6己烷三腈(1772-25-4)中的至少一种。
锂盐为LiPF6、LiBF4、LiClO4、LiBOB、LiDFOB、LiFAP、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiCF3S03、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiN(SO2C2F5)2、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiN(SO2C4F9)2、LiC(SO2CF3)3、LiPF3(C3F7)3、LiB(CF3)4、LiBF3(C2F5)、LiPO2F2、LiDMSI,LiTESI、LiHPS I和LiPF4C2O4中的至少一种。
本发明的高电压锂离子电池的非水电解液还可以加入其他的锂电池电解液添加剂,常用的锂电池电解液添加剂可以包括碳酸亚乙烯酯(VC),硫酸乙烯酯(DTD),亚硫酸乙烯酯(ES)、1,3丙磺酸内酯、1,3丙烯磺酸内酯、1,4丁磺酸内酯、、1,4-丁二醇硫酸酯和丙烯基-1,3-磺酸内酯。
实施例1
在BRAUN手套箱中配制电解液,手套箱中充满纯度为99.999%的氮气,手套箱中水分控制在≤5ppm,温度在室温。将30克EC和70克EMC混合均匀,密封,放入冰箱中待其冷却至8℃后,转移至手套箱中,然后分两批加入LiPF6充分混合,形成锂盐摩尔浓度为1mol/L的锂盐溶液,在以上的锂盐溶液中加入5克FEC,0.3克焦硫酸钠,5克的丁二腈,均匀混合后,得到高电压锂离子非水电解液。
其他实施例及对比例的配制方法按照表1和表2的组分含量表,参照实施例1的配制方法进行。
其中,FEC(CAS:114435-02-8)、1,3,5戊三甲腈(4379-04-8)、1,2,3丙三甲腈(62872-44-0)、1,3,6己烷三腈(1772-25-4)、1,3丙烯磺酸内酯(21806-61-1),1,3丙磺酸内酯,1,8萘磺酸内酯(83-31-8),1,4丁磺酸内酯(1633-83-6)、1,4丁磺酸内酯(CAS:1633-83-6)、甲烷二磺酸亚甲酯(CAS:99591-74-9)、1,4-丁二醇硫酸酯、丙烯基-1,3-磺酸内酯(CAS:21806-61-1)、焦硫酸钠(13870-29-6)、焦亚硫酸钠(7681-57-4)、焦硫酸钾(7790-62-7)等材料购自于百灵威科技有限公司,DFEC(CAS:311810-76-1),购自苏威(上海)有限公司,双五氟乙基磺酸亚胺锂(Li(C2F5SO2)2N)、三氟甲基五氟乙基磺酸亚胺锂(Li(CF3SO2)(C2F5SO2)N)、双三氟甲基磺酸亚胺锂(Li(CF3SO2)2N)、双(氟磺酰)亚胺锂(LiFSI)购自苏州亚科化学试剂股份有限公司。

性能测试
正极片的制备:制备锂离子电池的正极极片:将质量百分比为3%的聚偏氟乙烯(PVDF)溶解于1-甲基-9-吡咯烷酮溶液中,将质量百分比96%的钴酸锂(LiCoO2)、质量百分比3%导电剂炭黑加入上述溶液并混合均匀,将混制的浆料涂布在铝箔构成的正极集流体的两面后,烘干压制作为正极极片,正极的压实密度为4.05g/cm3。
负极极片的制备:将质量百分比为4%SBR(聚苯乙烯、丁二烯悬浮液)的粘结剂、质量百分比为1%CMC(羧甲基纤维素钠)的增稠剂溶于水溶液中,将质量百分比为95%石墨加入上述溶液,混合均匀,将混制的浆料涂布在铜箔构成的负极集流体的两面后,烘干压制作为负极极片。
干电芯以高压钴酸锂为正极,以石墨为负极,微孔聚乙烯薄膜为隔膜制成方形干电芯。将干电芯在80-85℃烘箱烘干48小时后移入手套箱待用。分别将上述各实施例和比较例所得电解液注入上述烘干好的干电芯,然后静置24小时,预充一次化成,封口,二次化成后,得到实施例和比较例实验电池。
高电压1C循环性能测试在室温25±2℃,相对湿度45-75%的条件下对实施例和比较例实验电池进行3-4.45V电池循环性能测试,测试步骤为:a.2C恒流充电到4.45V,然后恒压充电至截止电流0.05C;静置10分钟;b.1C恒流放电到3.0V,静置10分钟;c.循环步骤a和b,循环次数为200-400次。测试结果见附表3。
高温储存性能测试,在室温25±2℃,相对湿度45-75%的条件下对实施例和比较例实验电池进行3-4.45V电池循环性能测试,测试步骤为:a.1C恒流充电到4.45V,然后恒压充电至截止电流0.05C测试电池厚度;b将电池转移至85℃恒温箱中,储存4H后测试电池冷却后厚度,计算冷测厚度膨胀率。
从表3高电压循环性能测试数据、低温0°高电压1C循环性能测试数据及85°4小时高温储存数据可知,采用本发明非水电解液的实施例电池200次循环后的容量保持率大于80%,85°4H高温存货的厚度膨胀率在10%以下,满足电池的实际使用需求;而采用现有技术电解液的比较例电池的容量保持率偏低,并且没办法同时兼顾常温循环、低温循环和高温存储性能。从结果可以看出,单独采用焦酸盐、有机腈、氟代碳酸酯类添加剂中一种、两种的时候,电池的常温循环性能、低温循环性能和高温储存性能没办法达到使用要求,但通过三种添加剂的联合使用,可以达到兼顾常温及低温循环性能的同时,具有非常好的高温储存性能。

本发明以上实施例的电解液中所使用的氟代酯、有机腈类、焦酸盐,可以协同改善电压下电池的常温及低温循环性能性能,同时可以改善高温存储性能,因此,本发明的电解液体系在较高充放电电压下具有高放电容量,良好的常温、低温循环性能及高温储存性能。
本发明相对于现有技术具有如下的优点及效果:
(1)使用本发明以上高电压锂离子电池的非水电解液制备得到的高电压锂电池常温及循环性能较好。
(2)使用本发明以上高电压锂离子电池的非水电解液制备得到的高电压锂电池高温存储性能较好。
(3)由于焦硫酸盐成本低,因此使用本发明以上高电压锂离子电池的非水电解液成本非常低。
本发明上述实施例只是对本发明进行的若干个实例的说明,当然也可以采用其它的添加剂,如焦钒酸钠、焦硅酸钠等等,均能达到本发明所述的效果,因篇幅所限,在此就不一一列举。上述实施例对本发明作了详细的说明,但并不意味着本发明仅仅局限于这些实例。在不脱离本发明技术原理的情况下,对其进行改进和变形在本发明权利要求和技术之内,也应属于本发明的保护范围。
Claims (6)
1.一种高电压锂离子电池的非水电解液,其特征在于,包括溶剂、锂盐、焦酸盐类添加剂、氟代酯类添加剂和有机腈类添加剂;其中,
所述的溶剂为环状碳酸酯和/或链状碳酸酯,锂盐在溶剂中的摩尔浓度为0.8-1.5mol/L;所述的焦酸盐类添加剂为焦硫酸钠和焦硫酸钾中的至少一种。
2.根据权利要求1所述的非水电解液,其特征在于,所述的环状碳酸酯为碳酸乙烯酯、碳酸丙烯酯和氟代碳酸乙烯酯或γ-丁内酯中的至少一种。
3.根据权利要求1所述的非水电解液,其特征在于,所述的链状碳酸酯为碳酸二甲酯、碳酸二乙酯、碳酸甲乙酯、碳酸甲丙酯和碳酸乙丙酯中的至少一种。
4.根据权利要求1所述的非水电解液,其特征在于,所述的氟代酯类添加剂为氟代碳酸乙烯酯和/或二氟代碳酸乙烯酯。
5.根据权利要求1所述的非水电解液,其特征在于,所述的有机腈类添加为丁二腈、己二腈、戊二腈、3,3'-氧二丙腈、乙二醇双(丙腈)醚、1,2,3-三(2-氰氧基)丙烷、1,3,5戊三甲腈、1,2,3丙三甲腈(62872-44-0和1,3,6己烷三腈中的至少一种。
6.根据权利要求1所述的非水电解液,其特征在于,所述锂盐为LiPF6、LiBF4、LiClO4、LiBOB、LiDFOB、LiFAP、LiAsF6、LiSbF6、LiCF3SO3、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiN(SO2C2F5)2、LiN(SO2CF3)2、LiN(SO2C4F9)2、LiC(SO2CF3)3、LiPF3(C3F7)3、LiB(CF3)4、LiBF3(C2F5)、LiPO2F2、LiDMSI、LiTESI、LiHPSI和LiPF4C2O4中的至少一种。
