Detailed Description
The following description of the embodiments refers to the accompanying drawings, which are included to illustrate specific embodiments in which the invention may be practiced.
Referring to fig. 1 and fig. 2, an embodiment of a flexible screen folding state detecting device according to the present invention includes:
a detection wire 2 disposed at a predetermined fold of a display area 10 of the flexible screen 1;
the detection unit 3 is electrically connected to two ends of the detection lead 2, and is used for detecting the resistance value of the detection lead 2 when the flexible screen 1 is folded, and acquiring the folding angle of the flexible screen 1 according to the detected resistance value;
and the control unit 4 is electrically connected with the detection unit 3 and is used for controlling the display state of the flexible screen 1 according to the folding angle of the flexible screen 1 provided by the detection unit 3.
In the embodiment, the detection wires 2 are arranged at the preset folding position (see the area a shown in fig. 2) of the display area 10 of the flexible screen 1, when the flexible screen 1 is folded, the resistance value of the detection wires 2 is changed due to bending, and the detection unit 3 judges the folding angle of the flexible screen 1 by using the detected resistance value of the detection wires 2, and then feeds the folding angle back to the control unit 4 to perform corresponding actions, so that the flexible screen 1 responds to different folding states.
In this embodiment, the detecting wires 2 can be wound around the display region 10 from the predetermined folding position on one side of the flexible screen 1 to the predetermined folding position on the other side of the flexible screen 1 to form a shape of "n" or "ㄩ" as shown in fig. 3, and then are electrically connected to the detecting units 3 respectively; it is also possible to arrange only at a predetermined fold on one side of the flexible screen 1, as shown in fig. 4, with both ends electrically connected to the detecting unit 3, respectively. That is, the present embodiment does not limit the specific arrangement of the detection wire 2 as long as the resistance change at the time of folding can be reflected.
As previously described, when the flexible screen 1 is folded, according to the resistance formula:
Figure DEST_PATH_IMAGE001
where ρ represents the resistivity of the resistor and is determined by its properties, L represents the length of the resistor, and S represents the cross-sectional area of the resistor.
The detection wire 2 is deformed due to bending, which is equivalent to increase of L and decrease of S, and as a result, the resistance R of the detection wire 2 is increased, namely the resistance value of the detection wire 2 is increased along with the increase of the folding angle of the flexible screen 1.
The folding angle α of the flexible screen 1 is an angle between an end position after the flexible screen is folded and an initial position before the flexible screen is folded as shown in fig. 5, the initial position of the flexible screen 1 is a1, i.e., a horizontal direction, and when the flexible screens 1 to a2 are folded in a counterclockwise direction, an angle between a2 and a1 is a folding angle α of the flexible screen 1.
As described above, the relationship between the folding angle α of the flexible screen 1 and the resistance value R of the detection wire 2 as shown in fig. 6 can form a relationship table, and when the detection unit 3 detects the resistance value of the detection wire 2 during folding, the relationship table can be queried through the resistance value to obtain the folding angle α corresponding to the resistance value.
After obtaining the folding angle of the flexible screen 1, the control unit 4 will determine the current folding state of the flexible screen 1, and control the driving controller 5 (Driver IC) to make the flexible screen 1 present different display states, such as dim, bright, screen saver, extinguish, etc., according to the different folding states, specifically, a plurality of determination thresholds may be set for the folding angle, and the control unit 4 controls different display states of the flexible screen 1 according to the relationship between the obtained folding angle of the flexible screen and the respective determination thresholds, for example, set the first threshold to 160 °, if the folding angle α of the flexible screen 1 obtained by the detection unit 3 is greater than or equal to 160 °, indicating that the display area 10 of the flexible screen 1 is folded relatively to be closed, and no content needs to be displayed continuously, the control unit 4 will control the display area 10 of the flexible screen 1 to not display or display the screen saver, if the second threshold is set to 30 °, if the folding angle α ° of the flexible screen 1 obtained by the detection unit 3 is greater than or equal to 30 °, the soft screen 1 may be controlled to display the dim gradually.
Further, the detection lead 2 of the present embodiment may be a single-stranded metal lead or a multi-stranded metal stranded wire, and when the flexible screen 1 is folded, the flexible screen is deformed due to bending, so that the resistance value is changed. The detection wire 2 may also be designed in a structure as shown in fig. 7, considering that the change in resistance value caused by deformation is irreversible and sometimes causes wire loss.
Referring to fig. 7, the detection wire 2 is a flat strip and includes a first wire 21 and a second wire 22 connected to each other, the first wire 21 includes a first connecting portion 211, a first middle portion 212 and a pair of first bending portions 213 extending vertically from upper and lower ends of the first middle portion 212 and parallel to each other, the second wire 22 includes a second connecting portion 221, a second middle portion 222 and a second bending portion 223 extending vertically from a center of the second middle portion 222, the second bending portion 223 is embedded between the pair of first bending portions 213 and abuts against the first middle portion 212, and the first bending portions 213 abut against the second middle portion 222.
When the flexible screen 1 is folded, the detection wire 2 is bent at the areas where the first bending part 213 of the first wire 21 and the second bending part 223 of the second wire 22 are located, wherein the second bending part 223 is pulled out from between the first bending parts 213 (see fig. 8) to form a stretching length Δ l (see fig. 9), the folding angle α of the flexible screen 1 is increased, and the stretching length Δ l is increased accordingly, and the resistance value of the detection wire 2 is increased according to the resistance formula.
Correspondingly to the first embodiment of the present invention, the second embodiment of the present invention provides a method for detecting a folding state of a flexible screen, including:
arranging a detection lead at a preset folding position of a display area of the flexible screen;
detecting the resistance value of the detection lead when the flexible screen is folded, and acquiring the folding angle of the flexible screen according to the detected resistance value;
and controlling the display state of the flexible screen according to the detected folding angle of the flexible screen.
The working principle and process of this embodiment can be referred to the description of the first embodiment of the present invention, and are not described herein again.
As can be seen from the above description, the embodiments of the present invention have the following beneficial effects: set up the detection wire in flexible screen folding region, through the detection to detecting the wire resistance, obtain the folding angle of flexible screen to according to the corresponding control display state of the folding angle of difference, not only make the flexible screen respond to different fold condition, the detection wire that adopts is with low costs moreover, easily realizes.
The above disclosure is only for the purpose of illustrating the preferred embodiments of the present invention, and it is therefore to be understood that the invention is not limited by the scope of the appended claims.
