Abstract
本发明的耐磨性阻燃组合物由(I)100份重量
的聚合物和(II)30—200份重量无机系阻燃剂组
成。其中,(I)聚合物含有(A)差示扫描量热法测得
的最高峰值温度Tm>125℃的聚烯烃系树脂和(B)
Tm<125℃的聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶。(A)在聚合物重
量中占50—90重量%,(B)占10—50重量%。此
外,聚合物成分(I)含有108—103g当量(基于1g
聚合物)选自a.羧基,其酯基或酸酐基,b.环氧基,c.
羟基,d.氨基,c.链烯环亚胺醚基,和f.硅烷基中的至
少一种官能基。
Description
本发明是关于耐磨性优良的阻燃组合物,以及使用该耐磨性阻燃组合物而成的涂覆材料或绝缘材料。更详细地说,本发明是关于燃烧时在不产生卤素气体等有毒气体的同时形成碳化层,而具有耐下滴性,并保持有可挠性、机械性能、耐化学性能的,耐热性优良的耐磨性阻燃组合物,以及使用该阻燃组合物的电线·电缆、电线·电缆保护管或密封盖或者机壳、箱子、片材等电气机械用涂覆材料或绝缘材料。
聚烯烃树脂由于其优良的物理性能和化学性能可以用挤出成形,注射成形等各种成形方法成形为薄膜,片材,管材,容器,电线,电缆等而成为家用和工业应用中最需要的广泛应用的树脂。
由于上述聚烯烃树脂的易燃性,人们已提出了许多难燃化的方法。
其中最一般的方法是在聚烯烃树脂中添加卤素或磷系等有机阻燃剂。
这些阻燃剂虽然只要添加少量就有效果,但是存在有燃烧时产生有害气体的缺点。
因此,近来已研究出添加燃烧时不产生有害气体、低烟性、无公害型的阻燃剂,例如氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁等无机金属化合物的水合物的方法(特开平2-53845号公报,特开平2-145632号公报)。
然而,在使用无机系阻燃剂的难燃性组合物中,为了提高其难燃性必须提高无机系阻燃剂的填充量。可是,如果提高其填充量就产生了由于机械强度和可挠性、加工性降低而引起的实用困难的问题,为了改进这些缺点开发了以在高浓度配合软质聚烯烃系树脂以提高无机系阻燃剂掺合量的技术。(US 4,722,959、US 4,845,146)
但是这种含有大量软质树脂的阻燃性组合物对于一般的电线·电缆等电气绝缘材料、保护管、密封盖等电气材料、片材、地板材等内装材料等方面获得了成功,而在汽车、车辆、飞机、船舶、工业用机器人等使用的电线、电缆或机壳、箱子等成形品等的制造场合下、在制作作业时,搬运时以及使用时由于受到残酷的高温和振动等易受到摩擦引起的外伤,因而需要改善其机械强度、耐磨性等。
迄今为止,为了提高耐磨性已提出了如下的方法:在交联剂存在下因交联作用而得以改良的方法(特开昭62-252442号公报、特开昭62-275139号公报),用不饱和羧酸或其衍生物改性乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物的方法(特开昭62-10149号公报)、将在聚烯烃树脂中将分子内含有羧基或羧酸酯的乙烯系树脂和分子内加成了马来酸或马来酸酐的热塑性弹性体相互混合的混合物作为基础聚合物的方法(特开平2-53845号公报),然而其加工性、耐磨性等还留有改进的余地,要求进一步加以改善。
本发明的耐磨性阻燃组合物提供了提高了耐热性、耐磨性且保持了机械强度、可挠性、加工性、高度难燃性的诸物性能均衡的阻燃组合物,该组合物被用于薄膜、片材、容器、电线、电缆、包装、密封、软管类、注射制品等成形用途。
本申请的第一项发明提供了如下特征的耐磨性阻燃组合物,该组合物含有
(Ⅰ)100份重量的聚合物,其中含有:
(A)由差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最高峰值温度(Tm)为125℃以上的聚烯烃系树脂
(B)由差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最高峰值温度低于125℃的聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶,和
(Ⅱ)30-200份重量无机系阻燃剂,
所说聚合物成份(Ⅰ)中的聚烯烃系树脂(A)的含量为50-90重量%、聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶(B)的含量为10-50重量%,另外聚合成分(Ⅰ)中含有10-8-10-3g当量(基于1g聚合物)选自如下a-f所列出的至少一种官能基团:
a:羧基或酸酐基团,
b:环氧基,
c:羟基,
d:氨基,
e:链烯环亚胺醚基,和
f:硅烷基。
另外,本申请的第二发明提供了使用该耐磨性阻燃组合物的涂覆材料或绝缘材料。
下面详细说明本发明。
本发明中(A)成分的差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最大峰值温度(Tm)125℃以上的聚烯烃系树脂选自至少一种的密度为0.94g/cm3以上的聚乙烯和碳原子数3-12的α-烯烃(共)聚合物,具体的是,密度0.94g/cm3以上的聚乙烯是用公知技术的齐格勒系催化剂以液相法或气相法,在中低压聚合而制得的高密度聚乙烯,乙烯均聚物或乙烯和碳原子数3-12的α-烯烃共聚物以及它们的混合物,作为具体的α-烯烃的例子有丙烯、1-丁烯,4-甲基-1-戊烯,1-己烯,1-辛烯,1-十二烯等。另外,碳原子数为3-12的α烯烃共聚物可以举出丙烯,1-丁烯,4-甲基-1-戊烯,1-己烯,1-辛烯,1-十二烯等,α-烯烃均聚物或它们的混合物。
其中优选的为聚丙烯,聚1-丁烯,聚4-甲基-1-戊烯。
上述聚烯烃系树脂的熔融流动指数(称作MFR)优选的范围为0.01-20g/10min,最好为0.1-10g/10min,更好的为0.5-7g/10min。
MFR低于0.01g/10min时出现加工性差,而MFR高于20g/10min时机械强度、耐磨性不好。
本发明中(B)成分的差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最大峰值温度(Tm)低于125℃的聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶选自至少一种的(B1)密度为0.86-低于0.94g/cm3的高压自由基聚合法而得的低密度聚乙烯或乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物,(B2)乙烯/乙烯基酯共聚物,(B3)乙烯/α,β-不饱和羧酸烷基酯共聚物及(B4)橡胶。
该(B1)密度为0.86-低于0.94g/cm3的由高压自由基聚合法而得的低密度聚乙烯或乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物为以高压自由基聚合法制得的密度0.91-低于0.94g/cm3的低密度聚乙烯(以下简略为LDPE)以及使用齐格勒催化剂的中低压法或其它公知方法制得的乙烯和碳原子数3-12的α-烯烃的共聚物,密度0.86-低于0.91g/cm3的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物(超低密度聚乙烯,以下科略为VLDPE)以及密度0.91-低于0.94g/cm3的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物(直链低密度聚乙烯,以下简略为LLDPE)。
具体的α-烯烃的例子为碳原子数3-12的丙烯,1-丁烯、4-甲-1-戊烯、1-己烯、1-辛烯、1-十二烯等。其中优选的为1-丁烯、4-甲基-1-戊烯、1-己烯、1-辛烯,特别优选的为1-丁烯。
乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物中α-烯烃的含量最好为5-40摩尔%。
上述VLDPE为具有密度范围为0.86g/cm3-低于0.91g/cm3,由差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最大峰值温度(Tm)100°以上-低于125℃而且沸腾的n-己烷不溶性含量10重量%以上,而且显示出直链低密度聚乙烯(LLDPE)和乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物橡胶之间的性能的聚乙烯。
更详细地说,是乙烯和碳原子数3-12的α-烯烃的共聚物,该VLDPE是具有LLDPE所表现的高结晶部分和乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物橡胶所表现的非结晶部分相结合的树脂,它既具有前者特征的机械强度、耐热性等,又具有后者特征的自粘着性、橡胶状弹性、耐低温冲击性等的均衡的性能,这些特征在本发明中是极其有用的。
该VLDPE可以使用至少含有镁和钛固体催化剂成分和有机铝化合物相混合的催化剂体系而制得。
该(B2)乙烯/乙烯基酯共聚物可以举出以高压自由基聚合法制得的以乙烯为主要成分的丙酸乙烯基酯、乙酸乙烯基酯、
辛酸乙烯基酯、月桂酸乙烯基酯、硬脂酸乙烯基酯和三氟乙酸乙烯基酯等乙烯基酯单体的共聚物。其中特别优选的为乙烯/乙酸乙烯共聚物(以下简称EVA)。也就是说最好为乙烯50-99.5%重量%,己酸乙烯0.5-50重量%的共聚物。
该(B3)乙烯/α,β-不饱和羧酸烷基酯或其衍生物的共聚物的例子为乙烯/α,β不饱和羧酸酯共聚物及其金属盐、酰胺、亚胺等而且这些最好用高压自由基聚合法而制得。具体的例子为乙烯/(甲基)丙烯酸甲酯共聚物、乙烯/(甲基)丙烯酸乙酯共聚物等,特别的例子为乙烯/丙烯酸乙酯共聚物(以下简略为EEA)。也就是说最好为乙烯50-99.5重量%、丙烯酸乙酯0.5-50重量%的共聚物。
该(B4)橡胶的例子有乙烯丙烯系橡胶,丁二烯系橡胶,异戊二烯系橡胶、天然橡胶、乙腈橡胶、异丁橡胶等,可单独使用也可混合使用。
上述乙烯丙烯系橡胶的例子有乙烯和丙烯为主要成分的无规共聚物(EPM),以及加作为第三成分的二烯单体(二环戊二烯,亚乙基降冰片烯等)作为主要成分的无规共聚物(EPDM)。
上述丁二烯系橡胶指的是以丁二烯为主要组成的共聚物,如苯乙烯-丁三烯嵌段共聚物(SBS)和其氢化或部分氢化的衍生物的苯乙烯-丁二烯-乙烯共聚物(SBES)、1,2-聚丁二烯(1,2-PB)、马来酸酐-丁二烯-苯乙烯共聚物,具有芯壳结构的改性丁二烯橡胶等。
上述异戊烯橡胶指的是以异戊烯为主要成分的共聚物,可以举例为苯乙烯-异戊烯嵌段共聚物(SIS)以及其氢化或部分氢化的衍生物苯乙烯-异戊烯-乙烯共聚物(SIES),具有芯壳结构的改性异戊烯橡胶等。
在本发明(B)成分的聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶中,最好为乙烯/丙烯酸乙酯共聚物。
该乙烯/丙烯酸乙酯共聚物的熔体流动指数(MFR)的选择范围为0.1-50g/10min,最好为0.5-20g/10min。
该MFR低于0.1g/10min时树脂组合物的流动性差,而高于50g/10min时引起抗张强度降低,这是不希望的。
另外,该EEA的EA含量根据物性和经济观点选择为0.5-50重量%,最好为5-30重量%。
本发明组合物由以(A)、(B)成分为必要的聚合物成分(Ⅰ)100份重量和(Ⅱ)成分的无机阻燃剂30-200份重量构成,且在聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中的选自a:羧酸基或酸酐基、b:环氧基、c:羟基、d:氨基、e:链烯环亚胺醚基、f:硅烷基中的至少一种官能基为10-8-10-3克当量/1g总聚合物,这是很重要的。
本发明的聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中(A)成分和(B)成分的配合量为相对于(A)成分的50-90重量%,(B)成分为50-10重量%,优选的相对于(A)成分的60-80重量%,(B)成分为40-20重量%。
在(A)成分的配合量低于50重量%或(B)成分的配合量超过50重量%的场合下,其耐磨性、刚性、耐热性、加工性低劣;而在(A)成分的配合量超过90重量%或(B)成分的配合量低于10重量%的场合下,为达到高度阻燃而填充大量的无机系阻燃剂时耐冲击性、特别是低温时的耐冲击性、机械强度等低劣。因而以上述的配合范围选择为好。
导入上述官能基a:羧基或酸酐基的化合物的例子有马来酸、富马酸、柠康酸、衣康酸等的α、β-不饱和二羧酸或者它们的酸酐、丙烯酸、甲基丙烯酸、呋喃羧酸、巴豆酸、乙烯基乙酸、戊酸等不饱和单羧酸等。
导入官能基b:环氧基的化合物的例子有丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、甲基丙烯酸缩水甘油酯、衣康酸单缩水甘油酯、丁烯三羧酸单缩水甘油酯、丁烯三羧酸二缩水甘油酯、丁烯三羧酸三缩水甘油酯以及α-氯代丙烯酸、马来酸、巴豆酸、富马酸等,缩水甘油酯类或者乙烯基缩水甘油醚、烯丙基缩水甘油醚、缩水甘油基氧代乙基乙烯基醚、苯乙烯-P-缩水甘油醚等、缩水甘油醚类、P-缩水甘油苯乙烯等,特别优选的为甲基丙烯酸甘油酯和烯丙基缩水甘油醚。
导入官能基c:羟基化合物例子有1-羟丙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,2-羟丙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯和羟乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯等。
导入官能基d:氨基化合物的例子有氨基乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,丙胺基乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,二甲胺基乙基(甲基)丙烯酯酯,二乙胺基乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,二丁胺基乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,氨基丙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,苯基氨基乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯,环己基氨基乙基(甲基)丙烯酸酯等。
导入官能基e:链烯环亚胺醚化合物的例子为如下结构式所示的化合物:
其中n为1,2或3,优是2或3,更优选的是2。R1,R2,R3、R各自代表C1-C12惰性的烷基和/或氢,其中烷基各自可含有惰性取代基。这里所谓的“惰性的”是指对接枝反应或生成物的功能不产生坏的影响。另外,所有的R不必要是相同的,但最好R1=R2=H,R3=H或Me,R=H也就是说是2-乙烯基和/或2-异丙烯基-2-噁唑啉、和2-乙烯基和/或2-异丙烯基-5,6-二氢-4H-1,3-噁榛。它们可以单独使用也可以混合使用。
这些当中特别优选的是2-乙烯基和/或2-异丙烯基-2-噁唑啉。
导入官能基f:硅烷基的化合物的例子有乙烯基三甲氧基硅烷,乙烯基三乙氧基硅烷,乙烯基三乙酰氧基硅烷、乙烯基三氯硅烷等不饱和硅烷化合物。
在本发明的聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中导入官能基的具体方法的例子有:(1)在(A)、(B)成分中接枝了至少一种官能基的改性聚合物的导入方法,(2)作为乙烯和含有官能基的化合物的无规共聚物导入该官能基的方法,(3)上述(A)成分(B)成分和至少一种该官能基在有机过氧化物存在下使用挤出机进行加成反应的导入方法等。
上述接枝改性聚合物的官能基的加成量在一般情况下相对于改性聚合物为10-8-10-5g当量,最好为10-7-10-6g当量范围。超过10-5g当量浓度的反应量的无规共聚物的制备有困难。
另外,在乙烯或烯烃无规共聚物的场合下,相对于无规共聚物的加成量为10-6-10-3克当量,最好为10-5-10-4克当量范围,超过10-3克当量浓度的加成量的无规共聚物的制备有困难。
在本发明中,每1g总的聚合物含有的官能基的1g当量意指导入官能的化合物1摩尔。
在含有这些官能基的改性聚合物或乙烯与含有官能基化合物的无规共聚物中,最好使用密度为0.91-0.97g/cm3的马来酸酐改性的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物。
作为本发明的接枝改性聚合物的制备方法,是在自由基引发剂存在下将含有上述官能基的化合物的至少一种通过熔融法或溶液法进行接枝改性而实现的。其中以熔融法为好。
自由基引发剂的例子有有机过氧化物、二氢化芳族化合物、二枯基化合物等。
另外,在如聚丙烯等过氧化物分解型的聚合物的情况下,因通过过氧化物切断聚合物的链,因此作为自由基引发剂最好使用相对稳定些的二枯基化合物、二氢芳族化合物等。
适用的有机过氧化物的例子有过氧化氢,二枯基过氧化物,叔-丁基枯基过氧化物,二烷基(烯丙基)过氧化物,二异丙基苯过氧化氢,二丙酰基过氧化物,二辛酰基过氧化物,苯甲酰基过氧化物,过氧化琥珀酸,过氧化缩酮,2,5-二甲基-2,5-双(叔丁基过氧化)己烷,叔-丁基氧代乙酸酯,叔-丁基过氧化异丁酸酯等。
作为二氢化芳族化合物的例子有二氢化喹啉及基衍生物,二氢呋喃,1,2-二氢化苯,1,2-二氢化萘,9.10-二氢化菲等。
作为二枯基化合物的例子有2,3-二甲基-2,3-二苯基丁烷、2,3-二乙基2,3-二苯基丁烷、2,3-二乙基-2,3-双-(P-甲基苯基)丁烷、2,3-二乙基-2,3-双-(P-溴化苯基)丁烷等,特别优选的为2,3-二乙基-2,3-二苯基丁烷。
本发明的聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中的该官能基在10-8-10-3g当量范围内调整。在使用接枝改性聚合物的情况下该官能基低于10-8当量时,或者在使用乙烯和含官能基化合物的无规共聚物的情况下该官能基低于于10-6g当量时,树脂成分与(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂的偶合效果不充分,机械强度低。当官能基的含量高于10-3当量时,担心降低树脂组合物的机械强度和耐磨性。另外,在组合物燃烧的情况下担心碳化层的生成受损而降低了耐下滴性。
作为本发明(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂的例子有氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁、氢氧化锆、碱式碳酸镁、白云石、水滑石 ,氢氧化钙、氢氧化钡、氧化锡的水合物、硼砂等无机金属化合物的水合物、硼酸锌、偏硼酸锌、偏硼酸钡、碳酸锌、碳酸镁-钙、碳酸钙、碳酸钡、氧化镁、氧化钼、氧化锆、氧化锡等。
这些可单独使用也可将2种以上混合使用。这些当中特别地选自氢氧化铝、氢氧化镁、氢氧化锆、碱式碳酸镁、白云石、水滑石 的至少一种金属化合物水合物,尤其是氢氧化铝和氢氧化镁,其阻燃效果好,经济上也有利。
这些无机系阻燃剂的粒径取决于其种类,但在氢氧化铝和氢氧化镁的情况下,平均粒径低于20μm,最好低于10μm。
本发明(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂的配合量,相对于聚合物成分(Ⅰ)的100份重量为30-200份重量,最好为40-150份重量。
该配合量低于30份重量时单独使用无机系阻燃剂难于实现完全的阻燃化,故必须与有机系阻燃剂混合使用。
另一方面在配合量超过200份重量的情况下,耐磨性差、耐冲击性低等机械强度下降,失去可挠性、且低温特性差。
在本发明中,在权利要求1即第一发明中所述的组合物中与磷配合使用可提供具有更高阻燃性的耐磨性阻燃组合物。
在本发明中使用的红磷最好使用用有机和/或无机化合物涂覆的红磷。
用有机和/或无机化合物涂覆的红磷的例子有其粒子表面用环氧树脂、酚树脂、聚酯树脂、硅树脂、聚酰胺树脂、丙烯酸系树脂等热硬性树脂涂覆的红磷,先用氢氧化铝、锌、镁等涂覆之后再涂覆该热硬性树脂的红磷,先制成金属磷化物之后再涂覆热硬性树脂的红磷、用钛、钴、锆等金属复合水合氧化物涂覆之后的改性红磷等等。
优选的是红磷的平均粒径为5-30μm,而且粒径小于1μm和大于100μm的颗粒的含量低于5重量%;红磷粒子表面上沉积涂覆量,在钛-钴系复合水合氧化物的情况下对于红磷粒子而言,相对于总重量Ti+Co等金属成分为0.5-15重量%,同样地对于有机树脂,相对于总重量为0.1-20重量%为好。
这些改性的红磷耐热稳定性和抗水解性优良,在水分存在下或在高温下几乎完全阻止了水解反应,因而没有产生有毒有味的膦气体。
上述红磷的配合量,相对于树脂成分100份重量为0.1-20份重量,最好为0.2-15份重量。
该红磷的配合量低于0.1重量份时,其添加的效果小,而配合量超过20份重量时其阻燃效果不再进一步改善,其物性,经济性也不好。
为了提高本发明中上述阻燃组合物的耐磨性,最好配合使用交联剂。
本发明中使用的交联剂的例子有三甲基丙烯酸三羟甲基丙酯、二甲基丙烯酸乙二酯、二甲基丙烯酸二乙二酯为代表的多官能性甲基丙烯酸酯单体,三烯丙基异氰脲酸酯、对苯二甲酸二烯丙基酯、丁酸乙烯酯等为代表的多官能乙烯基单体,N,N'-M-亚苯基双马来酰亚胺、N,N'-乙基双马来酰亚胺为代表的双马来酰亚胺,P-醌二肟等二肟类。二乙烯苯、1.5-己二烯-3-炔、己三烯、二乙烯醚、二乙烯砜等二乙烯基化合物,对苯二甲酸烯丙酯、2,6-二丙烯基酚、二烯丙基甲醇等二烯丙基化合物等多官能性化合物。(I & EC PRODUCT RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT P202 Vol2 No.3 SEPTEMBER 1963,和交联剂手册P167大成社昭和56年刊中记载)本发明中使用的多官能化合物的配合量,相对于树脂成分100份重量为1-20份重量,最好为5-10份重量。该多官能化合物的配合量低于1份重量时不能得到充分的交联度,而超过20份重量时不能再提高其交联度,反而是不经济的。
在本发明中由于将上述组合物与无机填充剂结合使用,不仅能减少 阻燃剂的配合量还能赋予其它的性能。
作为上述无机填充剂的例子有硫酸钙、硅酸钙、粘土 硅藻土、滑石、氧化铝、硅砂、玻璃粉、氧化铁、金属粉、石墨、碳化硅、氮化硅、二氧化硅、氮化硼、氮化铝、炭黑、云母、玻璃板、丝云母、焦千枚岩、铝薄片、石墨、シラス(卷须)球、金属球、玻璃球、浮石、玻璃纤维、碳纤维、须晶、金属纤维、石墨纤维、碳化硅纤维、石棉、硅灰石等。
上述无机填充剂的适用量,相对于本发明组合物的100份重量,不超过100份重量,如果上述配合量超过100份重量时成形品的冲击强度等机械性能下降,是不可取的。
在本发明中使用上述无机系阻燃剂或无机填剂等情况下,最好要在该阻燃剂、填充剂的表面上进行涂覆硬脂酸,油酸、棕榈酸等脂肪酸或其金属盐类,石蜡、蜡、聚乙烯蜡或它们的改性物,有机硼,有机钛酸盐等表面处理。
本发明的耐磨性优良的交联性高阻燃组合物的制备方法未作特别的限定,可以使用公知的方法制备。
例如,将以(A)成分和(B)为必要成分的聚合物成分(Ⅰ)和(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂,以及根据需要的红磷和/或交联助剂及其它添加剂进行配合,将这些可用通用的转鼓等进行干混合,或者可用密闭式混炼机、加压捏合机,混练挤出机、双轴挤
机,辊筒等常用的混练机进行熔融混炼,制得均匀分散的组合物混合物或者由其制成成形品。
将制得的该组合物的混合物或由其制成的成形品进行加热交联,在温水中水交联,或者也可以进行电子射线或高能射线照射交联。也可以用常用的混炼机进行熔融混炼使之得到均匀分散的组合物混合物或由其制成成形品,同时也得到交联物。
使用本发明的组合物进行交联的方法没有作特别的限定,使用交联剂的方法,用电子射线、β射线、γ射线等高能射线照射的方法,使用硅烷化合物或钛酸盐化合物进行水交联方法等均可使用。
为了充分发挥其耐磨性、耐热性、阻燃性等效果,在使用本发明组合物进行交联的情况下,交联后的阻燃组合物的凝胶率最好大于70%,更好地大于75%。凝胶率越大,其耐磨性,耐热性,阻燃性等改进效果越好,这是可取的。
作为本发明的交联剂,可使用有机过氧化物等基于自由基反应机理的交联剂,硫或硫化合物等天然或合成橡胶的交联剂,硅烷化合物等。但是,在聚丙烯等过氧化物分解型的聚合物等情况下,由于过氧化物会切断聚合物的链,最好使用比较稳定些的交联剂,如二枯基化合物,二氢化芳族化合物等。
本发明组合物的各成分的主要作用如下:
聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中(A)成分的差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得最大峰值温度(Tm)高于125℃的聚烯烃系树脂的作用是显著地提高其耐磨性,耐热性。
(B)成分的差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得最大峰值温度(Tm)低于125℃的聚乙烯树脂或橡胶的作用是在为保持高度阻燃化而掺合大量无机系阻燃剂的情况下、不降低其机械强度,提高其可挠性、耐冲击性。
(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂的作用是达到非卤型高度阻燃化。
聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中的官能基作用是提高聚合物成分(Ⅰ)和(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂的偶合效果及树脂的相溶性,在改进机械强度、耐磨性,耐热性及加工性的同时,因燃烧时形成(碳化层)而提高了耐下滴性。
另外,红磷的作用是达到高度的阻燃化,而交联助剂的作用是提高其交联率,因而进一步提高阻燃性、耐磨性、耐热性。
在本发明中,在不损害本发明耐磨性阻燃组合物的物性的范围内可以添加选自(1)矿物油、蜡、石蜡类,(2)高级脂肪酸及其酯、酰胺或金属盐,(3)硅氧烷,(4)多元醇的部分脂肪酸酯或脂肪酸醇、脂肪酸、脂肪酸酰胺、烷基酚或烷基萘酚亚烷基氧化物的加成物的至少一种防伤痕防白化剂、有机填料、抗氧化剂、润滑剂、有机或无机系颜料、紫外线防止剂、分散剂、铜害防止剂、中和剂、增塑剂、成核剂等。
实施例
以下通过实施例更具体地说明本发明,但本发明并不限于这些。
使用的树脂及原料

试验方法:
1)拉伸试验(kg/cm2)(简称为YTS、UTS)和伸长率(%)
(简称为VEL)
使用3 号哑呤模口冲切1mm厚片材得到试验片,然后使用张力(Tensilon)并在拉伸速度200mm/min下进行测定。
2)氧指数(01)
根据JISK7201测量。
3)耐磨性试验(ASTM C501-84)
使用テ-パ-式磨损试验机、磨损轮H-22、载荷1Kg,在试验转动1000转之后测定其重量(mg)减少。
4)加热变形率(耐热性)
根据JISC3005,JIS C3605进行测量
(温度:100℃,载荷3Kgf)
实施例1-104
表1-表8所示的混合组合物经干混合之后,用50MMψ的挤出机在树脂温度200℃下溶融混练、造粒。接着在180℃、压力100Kg/cm2、5分钟时间加压成形,制得试验料供给试验。试验结果如表1-表8所示。
比较例1-5
不使用(A)成分,在比较例1中将(E)成分无机系阻燃剂与(B)成分混合,在比较例2-5中将(C)成分的马来酸酐改性LLDPE(MAnLL)和(E)成分的无机系阻燃剂与(B)成分混合,然后与实施例1同样地评价其结果,并列于表9中。
比较例6-8
在比较6中使用(A)成分HDPE95重量%和(C)成分MAnLL5份重量及(E)成分无机系阻燃剂100份重量混合,在比较例7,8中(A)成分HDPE,(C)成分MAnLL、(E)成分无机系阻燃剂分别为20、220份重量混合,然后与实施例1同样地评价其结果,并列于表9中。
比较例9-11
除了使用PP为(A)成分之外其余与比较例6-8相同,评价结果如表9所示。
比较例12-16
除了使用红磷之外其余与比较例1-5相同,评价结果如表10所示。
比较例17-19
除了使用红磷之外其余与比较例6-8相同,评价结果如表10所示。

除了使用交联助剂之外其余与比较例1-5相同,评价结果如表10所示。

使用(A)成分为HDPE或PP60-80重量%,(B)成分EEA或VLDPE20-40重量%,与实施例1相同地评价其结果,如表13所示。
比较例2,6,37-43
使用(A)成分HDPE或PP0-100重量%,(B)成分EEA或VLDPE0-100重量%,和实施例1同样地评价其结果,如表13所示。
如上所述,本发明的耐磨性难燃组合物,以(A)成分差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最大峰值温度(Tm)高于125℃的聚烯烃系树脂、(B)成分的差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最大峰值温度(Tm)低于125℃的聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶为必须成分,并由含有特定量特定官能基的聚合物成分(Ⅰ)和(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂和根据需要而定的红磷和/或交联助剂组成,可以达到保持其可挠性、机械强度、高阻燃性的同时,提高它的耐磨和耐热性。
特别是,(A)成分因其由结晶树脂组成而有助于改进其耐磨性和耐热性,(B)成分增大了无机系阻燃剂的掺合量而不降低其机械强度和可挠性从而可以提高它的阻燃效果。
另外,特定的官能基起到使聚合物成分(Ⅰ)和(Ⅱ)无机系阻燃剂或无机填充剂偶合的作用,提高了树脂相互间的相溶性,改进了机械强度,加工性、耐磨性等。再有,燃烧时因生成了碳(碳化层)而防止了树脂的下滴、具有自消化作用。
由于本发明树脂组合物具有高度阻燃性的同时,在燃烧时不产生卤素气体等有毒气体,耐磨性和耐热性优良,以及安全性,可挠性,机械特性,耐化学腐蚀性,电性能等优良,因此,被用于薄膜、片材、管材等挤出成形品或注射成形品等成形用途,还可用于电线、电缆等,广泛应用于纤维、电器、电子、汽车、船舶、飞机、建筑、土木等各个领域中。
Claims (23)
1、一种耐磨性阻燃组合物,其特征在于它包含有:
(I)100份重量的聚合物成分,其中含有:
(A)以差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最大峰值温度(Tm)高于125℃的聚烯烃系树脂
(B)以差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最大峰值温度(Tm)低于125℃的聚乙烯系树脂或者橡胶,和
(Ⅱ)3-200份重量无机系阻燃剂
所说聚合物成分(I)中聚烯烃系树脂(A)的含量为50-90重量%聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶(B)的含量为10-50重量%,而且聚合物成分(I)中含有至少一种选自下述a-f的官能基,它相对于1克的总的聚介物的含量为10-8-10-3克当量:
官能基:
A:羧酸基或酸酐基
B:环氧基
C:羟基
D:氨基
E:链烃环亚胺醚基
F:硅烷基。
2、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其特征在于该官能基以改性聚合物形式被掺入,它相对于1g总的聚合物的含量为10-8-10-5克当量。
3、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其特征在于该官能基以乙烯和含官能基化合物的无规共聚物形式被掺入,它相对于1g总的聚合物的含量为10-6-10-8克当量。
4、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中加有红磷。
5、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻耐燃组合物,其中加有交联助剂。
6、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中加有红磷和交联助剂。
7、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中,(A)成分选自密度0.94g/cm3以上的聚乙烯和碳原子数3-12的α-烯烃(共)聚合物中的至少一种。
8、权利要求7中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中选自密度0.94g/cm3以上的聚乙烯和碳原子数3-12的α-烯烃(共)聚合物中的至少一种为选自高密度聚乙烯和聚丙烯系树酯中的至少一种。
9、权利要求1中的耐磨损性阻燃组合物,其中,(B)成分为选自下列(B1)-(B4)中至少一种的聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶。
(B1)密度为0.86至低于0.94g/cm3的高压自由基聚合制得的低密度聚乙烯或乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物
(B2)乙烯/乙烯基酯共聚物
(B3)乙烯/α,β不饱和羧酸烷基酯共聚物
(B4)橡胶。
10、权利要求9中的耐磨阻燃组合物,其中,(B1)成分为密度0.86至低于0.94g/cm3的高压自由基聚合法制得的低密度聚乙烯、密度0.86至低于0.91g/cm3的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物(超低密度聚乙烯)或者密度0.91至低于0.94g/cm3的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物(直链低密度聚乙烯);(B2)成分为乙烯/乙酸乙烯共聚物,(B3)成分为乙烯/丙烯酸乙酯共聚物,(B4)成分为乙烯/丙烯共聚物橡胶或乙烯/丙烯/二烯共聚物橡胶。
11、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中,官能基是羧酸基或酸酐基。
12、权利要求11中耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中,酸酐基是由马来酸酐导入。
13、权利要求2中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中,改性聚合物为用羧酸或含酸酐化合物、或含链烯环亚胺醚衍生物的化合物进行改性的密度0.86-0.97g/cm3的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物。
14、权利要求3中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中,乙烯和含官能基化合物的无规共聚物为含环氧基的乙烯共聚物。
15、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中,(Ⅱ)无机系阻燃剂为无机金属化合物的水合物。
16、权利要求15中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中,无机金属化合物的水合物为选自氢氧化镁和氢氧化铝中的至少一种。
17、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中,它由以下成分构成:聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中的(A)成分选自高密度聚乙烯、聚丙烯系树脂中的至少一种、(B)成分为选自高压法低密度聚乙烯、超低密度聚乙烯、直链低密度聚乙烯、乙酸乙烯酯含量5-30重量%的乙酸/乙酸乙烯酯共聚物、丙烯酸乙酯含量5-30重量%的乙烯/丙烯酸乙酯共聚物中至少一种、(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂选自氢氧化镁、氢氧化铝中至少一种、该官能基以经马来酸酐改性的密度0.86-0.97g/cm3的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物形式导入。
18、权利要求17中的耐磨阻燃组合物聚合物,其中,它由以下成分构成:成分(Ⅰ)中的(A)成分为高密度聚乙烯、(B)成分为丙烯酸乙酯含量为5-30重量%的乙烯/丙烯酸乙酯共聚物、(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂为氢氧化镁、该官能基以经马来酸酐改性的密度0.86-0.97g/cm3的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物形式被导入。
19、权利要求17中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中,它由以下成分构成:聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中的(A)成分为聚丙烯系树脂、(B)成分为丙烯酸乙酯含量为5-30重量%的乙烯/丙烯酸乙酯共聚物、(Ⅱ)成分的无机系阻燃剂为氢氧化镁、该官能基以马来酸酐改性的密度0.86-0.97g/cm3的乙烯/α-烯烃共聚物形式被导入。
20、权利要求1中的耐磨性阻燃组合物,其中耐磨性阻燃组合物的磨损量(重量减少)为低于100mg。
21、使用下述耐磨性阻燃组合物的涂覆材料或绝缘材料,该组合物含有:
(Ⅰ)100份重量的聚合物成分,其中包含:
(A)由差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最大峰值温度(Tm)高于125℃的聚烯烃系树脂
(B)由差示扫描量热法(DSC)测得的最大峰值温度(Tm)低于125℃的聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶,和
(Ⅱ)无机系阻燃剂30-200份重量
所说聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中的聚烯烃系树脂(A)的含量为50-90重量%、聚乙烯系树脂或橡胶(B)的含量为10-50重量%、另外聚合物成分(Ⅰ)中含有至少一种选自下述a-f的官能基,它相对于1g的总的聚合物的含量为10-8-10-3g当量:
官能基:
a:羧酸基或酸酐基
b:环氧基
c:羟基
d:氨基
e:链烯环亚胺醚基
f:硅烷基
22、权利要求21中的涂覆或绝缘材料,其中,涂覆材料或绝缘材料用于电线、电缆、电线和电缆用的保护管、电线和电缆用密封管、机壳、电器装置。
23、权利要求22中的涂覆材料或绝缘材料,其中绝缘材料用于汽车、车辆、飞机、船舶、工业用机器人用的电线和电缆。
