Claims (38)

1. An image capture device for selecting an image capture aspect for copying a data medium, comprising:
an automatic document feeder, comprising:
a paper feeding tray for supporting the data medium; and
a control panel including one or more key assemblies for selecting an image capture orientation of the data media; at least one image capturing component for capturing the image of the image capturing surface of the data medium;
the processor is electrically connected to the automatic paper feeder, the image capturing assembly and the button assembly;
the storage area is electrically connected to the processor and comprises at least one image module for storing a program code for starting image capture and storing an image of the image capture face of the data medium; and
the output unit is electrically connected to the processor, and receives and outputs the image of the image capturing surface of the data medium;
the processor controls the image capturing component to capture the image of the image capturing surface of the data medium according to the program code and different signals of the key component on the control panel, and transmits the image to the output unit.
2. The image capturing device of claim 1, wherein the output unit comprises a printer, an external storage device transfer port, or a network transfer port.
3. The image capture device of claim 1 or 2, wherein the image capture side of the data media is the first side, the second side, or both the first side and the second side of the data media.
4. The image capturing apparatus of claim 1 or 2, wherein at least one of the key assemblies is electrically connected to a single-sided image capturing sub-assembly of the image capturing assembly that faces upward or downward when the data medium is disposed on the paper feeding tray, and another of the key assemblies is electrically connected to a double-sided image capturing sub-assembly of the image capturing assembly.
5. The image capturing apparatus of claim 1 or 2, wherein at least one of the key assemblies is electrically connected to a single-sided image capturing sub-assembly of the image capturing assembly that faces forward or backward when the data medium is disposed on the paper feeding tray, and another of the key assemblies is electrically connected to a double-sided image capturing sub-assembly of the image capturing assembly.
6. The image capturing apparatus of claim 3, wherein the image module comprises:
a first image sub-module for storing a first portion of the program code and an image of the first side of the data medium; and
a second image submodule for storing a second portion of the program code and an image of the second side of the data medium.
7. The image capturing apparatus of claim 6, wherein the processor receives a dual-side capture signal for controlling the image capturing assembly to capture images of the first side and the second side of the data medium.
8. The image capture device of claim 3, wherein the key assembly is a single key assembly configured to send three different signals to initiate capturing and storing an image of the first side, the second side, or both the first side and the second side of the data media in the image module.
9. The image capturing device of claim 8, wherein the first side is an upper side of the data media when disposed on the paper feed tray; and the second side is the lower side of the data medium when the data medium is arranged on the paper feeding tray.
10. The image capturing device of claim 8, wherein the first side is a front side of the data media when disposed on the paper feed tray; and the second side is the rear side of the data medium when the data medium is arranged on the paper feeding tray.
11. The image capture device of claim 3, wherein the key assembly is three key assemblies, comprising:
the first surface key assembly is used for sending a first signal and starting a corresponding function to capture and store the image of the first surface of the data medium;
the second surface key assembly is used for sending a second signal and starting a corresponding function to capture and store the image of the second surface of the data medium; and
and the double-sided key assembly is used for sending a double-sided capture signal and starting a corresponding function to capture and store the images of the first side and the second side of the data medium.
12. The image capturing device of claim 3, wherein the key assembly is two key assemblies, comprising:
the first surface key assembly is used for sending a first signal and starting a corresponding function to capture and store the image of the first surface of the data medium; and
and a second surface key assembly for sending a second signal to start a corresponding function of capturing and storing an image of the second surface of the data medium, wherein when the first surface key assembly and the second surface key assembly are pressed at the same time period, a double-sided capture signal is sent to start a corresponding function of capturing and storing images of the first surface and the second surface of the data medium.
13. The image capture device of claim 7, wherein the image capture assembly comprises a first image capture subassembly and a second image capture subassembly; the first image sub-module is used for controlling the first image capturing sub-module to capture and store the image of the first surface of the data medium; the second image sub-module is used for controlling the second image capturing sub-module to capture and store the image of the second surface of the data medium; and the double-sided capture signal is used for controlling and starting the first image sub-module and the second image sub-module.
14. The image capture device of claim 7, wherein the image capture assembly comprises an image capture subassembly; the first image sub-module is used for controlling the image capturing sub-assembly to capture and store the image of the first surface of the data medium; the second image sub-module is used for controlling the image capturing sub-assembly to capture and store the image of the second surface of the data medium; and the double-sided capture signal is used for controlling the image capture subassembly to capture and store the images of the first side and the second side of the data medium.
15. The image capturing device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the automatic sheet feeder further comprises a sensing device disposed at a sheet feeding end of the sheet feeding tray for sensing the data medium.
16. The image capturing apparatus of claim 15, wherein the sensing device is configured to monitor the presence of the data medium, activate the key assembly, and activate an image capture oriented setting option.
17. The image capturing device as claimed in claim 3, wherein the control panel further comprises an activation button for sending the second signal to the processor, and the button assembly is a button assembly for sending the first signal to the processor, wherein:
when the processor receives the first signal and the second signal, the processor controls the image capturing component to capture only the image of the first surface;
when the processor only receives the first signal and does not receive the second signal, the image capturing component is not started; and
when the processor receives only the second signal but not the first signal, the processor controls the image capturing component to capture the images of the first surface and the second surface.
18. The image capturing device as claimed in claim 3, wherein the control panel further comprises an activation button for sending the second signal to the processor, and the button assembly is a button assembly for sending the first signal to the processor, wherein:
when the processor receives the first signal and the second signal, the processor controls the image capturing component to capture the images of the first surface and the second surface;
when the processor only receives the first signal and does not receive the second signal, the image capturing component is not started; and
when the processor receives only the second signal but not the first signal, the processor controls the image capturing component to capture only the image of the first surface.
19. A copying system for selectively copying an image of a first side, a second side, or both of a data medium, comprising:
an automatic document feeder, comprising:
the paper feeding tray is used for placing the data media for image capturing and storing; and
sensing means for monitoring for the presence of said data media;
the control panel displays images of a first surface option, a second surface option and a double-surface option for controlling and setting the image capturing and storing operation of the first surface, the second surface and the first surface and the second surface of the data medium by utilizing at least one key assembly, and provides a user with a copy mode required to be selected; and
the image acquisition component sets a corresponding signal to be sent out for operation according to the options of the key component;
the first surface option sends a first signal, the second surface option sends a second signal, and the double-surface option sends a third signal to start the image capturing component.
20. The copying system of claim 19, wherein the image capture assembly comprises: a first image capture subassembly for capturing an image of the first side of the data media; and a second image capture subassembly for capturing an image of the second side of the data media.
21. The copying system of claim 20, wherein the activation of the image capture component comprises capturing an image of the first side at a first time or capturing an image of the second side at a second time.
22. The copying system of claim 19, wherein the image capture assembly includes an image capture subassembly configured to capture images of the first side and the second side of the data medium at a first time and a second time, respectively.
23. The copying system of claim 20, wherein the copying system controls activation of the first image capture subassembly at a first point in time; and controlling the start of the second image capturing subassembly at a second time point.
24. The copying system of claim 22, wherein the first time point and the second time point are time points for controlling activation of the image capture subassembly.
25. The copying system of claim 23 or 24, wherein the actions at the first point in time and the second point in time are independent of each other.
26. The copying system of claim 20, wherein the first image capturing subassembly and the second image capturing subassembly are two image capturing subassemblies respectively disposed on the same paper feed path but on opposite sides thereof.
27. The copying system of claim 24, wherein the first time point and the second time point are time points for controlling the image capturing subassembly to capture images of the data media passing through different paper feed paths.
28. The copying system of claim 22, wherein the first point in time is different from the second point in time when the double-sided option asserts the third signal.
29. A copying method of an image capture device is characterized by comprising the following steps:
a. automatically sensing a data medium positioned in the automatic paper feeder;
b. starting the image surface option on the control panel to present a standby state;
c. enabling a user to select an image surface to be copied according to the image surface option instruction;
d. transmitting the image plane signal of the image plane option selected by the user to a processor; and
e. the processor starts a corresponding module to carry out copying operation according to the image surface signal;
wherein the image side option is a key assembly.
30. The method for copying an image capturing device as claimed in claim 29, wherein in steps a and b: and the processor senses the data media, automatically starts a double-sided image capturing and storing mode and stores all captured image surfaces in a temporary storage area.
31. The method for copying an image capturing device as claimed in claim 30, wherein said key assembly is represented by text or graphics.
32. The method of claim 30, wherein the image plane option includes at least one of an upward facing or a downward facing option for placing the data media on the auto document feeder and a double-sided option.
33. The method of claim 30, wherein the image plane options include top, bottom and both sides options for the data media to be placed on the auto document feeder.
34. The method of claim 30, wherein the image plane option includes at least one of an option to place the data media in front of or behind the auto document feeder and a double-sided option.
35. The method of claim 30, wherein the image plane options include the data media placement on front, back, and both sides of the auto document feeder.
36. The method for copying the image capturing device as claimed in claim 30, wherein the image plane options are used to provide options for a plurality of operation planes of the user, and different signals are respectively transmitted to the processor for respective options of the operation planes to start corresponding actions.
37. A copying method of an image capture device is characterized by comprising the following steps:
a. utilizing a sensing device to automatically sense a data medium positioned in the automatic paper feeder to generate a sensing signal;
b. automatically feeding the data media according to the sensing signal and capturing double-sided images of the data media;
c. starting the image surface option on the control panel to present a standby state;
d. enabling a user to select an image surface to be copied according to the image surface option instruction;
e. transmitting the image plane signal of the image plane option selected by the user to a processor; and
f. the processor starts a corresponding module to carry out copying operation according to the image surface signal;
wherein the image side option is a key assembly.
38. The method as claimed in claim 37, wherein in step f, the processor activates the corresponding module according to another sensing signal of the other data media sensed by the sensing device and the image plane signal, and performs copying and image capturing operations on the other data media.
