技术领域
本发明涉及可生物再生的非VOC(挥发性有机化合物)溶剂及其在清洁应用中使用所述溶剂的方法。
背景技术
清洁组合物必须有效清洁、即除去油性或蜡质污物。同时,在去污有效性、对下面待清洁基材的惰性、以及使用者的方便和安全之间要达到平衡。最近,对开发环境友好的清洁制剂也有相当的兴趣。
虽然不存在对“环境友好”的单独定义,但普遍接受的是来源于可生物再生资源的材料对于环境是可持续的。此外,在一些国家,正在规定挥发性有机物含量(VOC)的重量百分比限制。例如,加里福尼亚州大气资源局(California Air Resources Board,CARB)已经提议到2012年12月31日,将通用型清洁剂中的VOC从4重量%进一步降低到0.5重量%。对本申请来说,VOC是在20℃时蒸气压大于0.1mm Hg的那些碳化合物。
因此,对于安全、有效、无害、环境友好的清洁组合物存在着需求。
发明内容
在一种实施方式中,本发明提供了清洁组合物,其包含:
式R1(=O)OR2的酯,其中:
R1是C7-10烷基,和
R2是C2-6烷基,更优选C2-4烷基;
表面活性剂;
至少一种螯合剂或水溶助长剂;和
水。
“清洁组合物”是指用于去污的组合物。清洁组合物本质上不是被摄食的(ingested),清洁领域的技术人员也不能指望可摄食的组合物来解决清洁问题。
在一种实施方式中,R1是辛基。
在一种实施方式中,R1是癸基。
在一种实施方式中,R2是乙基。
在一种实施方式中,R2是丙基。
在一种实施方式中,R2是丁基或异丁基。
在优选实施方式中,所述酯是辛酸乙酯、癸酸乙酯、辛酸丙酯、辛酸丁酯、辛酸异丁酯、或癸酸丁酯的至少一种,或其混合物。在这样的实施方式中,这些酯的R1部分来源于椰子油和棕榈仁油,所述油根据信息据信是可生物再生的。所述脂肪酸可以通过许多方法,例如蒸馏,从其它脂肪酸中分馏出来。这些脂肪酸、它们的酯、或可通过还原它们而制备的相应的醇,是可生物再生的。

在一种实施方式中,使用一种或多种水溶助长剂。考虑的水溶助长剂包括,例如,醇、二醇、烷醇胺、芳基磺酸盐、二醇醚及其混合物。考虑的醇包括,例如,乙醇、异丙醇及其混合物。考虑的二醇包括例如丙二醇。考虑的烷醇胺包括,例如,单乙醇胺、乙醇胺、三乙醇胺及其混合物。考虑的芳基磺酸盐包括,例如,二甲苯磺酸铵、二甲苯磺酸钠、二甲苯磺酸钾、甲基萘磺酸钠、异丙苯磺酸钠、甲苯磺酸钠、及其混合物。考虑的二醇醚包括The DowChemical Company的E-系列和P-系列二醇醚,例如,二丙二醇正丁醚、二乙二醇正己醚、三丙二醇甲醚、二丙二醇正丙醚、二乙二醇正丁醚、三乙二醇甲醚、三乙二醇乙醚、和三乙二醇正丁醚。
考虑的螯合剂包括,例如,次氮基三乙酸、乙二胺四乙酸、有机磷酸盐、酒石酸单琥珀酸钠、酒石酸二琥珀酸钠、及其混合物。例子包括甲基甘氨酸N,N-二乙酸(MGDA)、谷氨酸N,N-二乙酸(GLDA)、2-羟乙基亚氨基二乙酸(HEIDA),或它们的盐,或柠檬酸盐、葡糖二酸和葡糖酸盐。
考虑的中性可溶盐包括例如硫酸钠。
在一种实施方式中,所述清洁组合物还包含助洗剂。考虑的助洗剂包括,例如,磷酸盐、碳酸盐、硅酸盐、沸石、多价螯合剂、中性可溶盐、及其混合物。考虑的磷酸盐包括,例如,三聚磷酸钠、焦磷酸四钠、正磷酸三钠、焦磷酸四钾、其它磷酸盐、及其混合物。考虑的碳酸盐包括,例如,碳酸钠、碳酸氢钠、倍半碳酸钠、及其混合物。考虑的硅酸盐包括,例如,硅酸钠,例如SiO2与Na2O的比率高于1:1的硅酸钠,例如具有2.0:1至2.4:1的这样的比率的硅酸钠。A型沸石是考虑的沸石的例子。
在本发明范围内的修改是考虑内的,例如,在一种实施方式中,所述清洁组合物不含二醇醚。
PH范围从2至12是考虑的。在一种实施方式中,所述清洁组合物的pH为至少8,优选至少8,优选至少9,优选至少10,并更优选大于(>)10。或者,在一种实施方式中,pH是8并且所述清洁组合物仍然是适当有效的(参见表5)。
在一种实施方式中,本发明提供了去除油脂污物的方法,所述方法包含将权利要求中所限定的清洁组合物施加到所述污物上。在一种实施方式中,所述污物是夹带有颜料的蜡质污物。
在一种实施方式中,本发明提供了制备去脂表面清洁剂的方法,包括在所述清洁剂中掺入如上所述的式R1(=O)OR2的酯。
在一种实施方式中,所述清洁组合物不含二醇醚。
在一种实施方式中,所述组合物是澄清的均质液体或凝胶。在一种实施方式中,所述组合物用于家庭清洁。在一种实施方式中,所述组合物用于工业或机构清洁(Institutional cleaning)。
在本发明的一种可替代实施方式中,R1可以不是C7-10烷基,而是C11-17烷基或烯基,即具有一个或多个双键。在这样的实施方式中,所述酯必须加以选择,使得所述酯不是挥发性有机物(所述酯在20℃时的蒸气压大于0.1mm Hg)。

总的说来,在污物与污物的比较上,本发明的溶液在大多数时间与常规溶剂相当或更好。虽然在一些污物中pH对效力明显是重要的,但表4中报告的是根据表3的平均清洁效力(“清洁能力”):

根据上文,本发明的组合物是预期的水性清洁组合物中的脱脂剂,具有来源于可生物再生资源的附加优势,并且在一些实施方式中,是非VOC。
实施例4
本发明的清洁组合物的实施例在表6A和6B中以wt%列出:

所述制剂在室温下如下制备:在去离子水中溶解缓冲电解质(碳酸钠和碳酸氢钠),然后溶解线性十二烷基苯磺酸钠(NACCONOL 90G),然后相继添加ECOSURF表面活性剂(如果有的话)、乙二醇己醚(如果有的话)和酸酯溶剂(癸酸乙酯或辛酸乙酯)以形成稳定均匀的微乳液。所述制剂的pH为9.2。
实施例5
为了测试实施例4的清洁组合物的清洁效力,每批如上所述制备并在表7中列出。
通过手工或机器砂磨制备毛玻璃基材,在其上每种污物(可得自DOLLAR TREE的通用蜡笔,可得自Crayola LLC的CRAYOLATM蜡笔,金属银记号笔和黑色耐久性记号笔)画出直线。将金属样板机械密封在所述玻璃上,将所述玻璃分成二十四个15mm×15mm阵列。吸取每批500μl的量到每个阵列上,所述玻璃基材然后以每分钟约60次运动的相对低速下振摇10min(对于金属银记号笔的情况)或32min(对于蜡笔、crayolaTM、和黑色耐久性记号笔的情况)。其后,用自来水温和冲洗所述玻璃基材并使其干燥。一旦干燥,就将玻璃基材通过光学扫描(EPSON Perfection 4490扫描仪,常规设置)成像。扫描数据通过目视观察分成四组:"0"-完全没有清洁,"1"-稍有清洁,"2"-部分清洁,"3"-大部分清洁,和"4"-完全清洁。运行一个至多个玻璃基材,并且平均清洁分数归纳在下表中。

表7可以看出,所有本发明的批,除了批M之外,对蜡笔都表现得超过可商购的常规多用途清洁剂。所有本发明的批都非常有效地清洁银金属耐久性记号笔,而比较性多用途清洁剂则无效。
本发明的批G、I和J清洁黑色耐久性记号笔好于比较性多用途清洁剂。
应理解,本发明不限于在此具体公开和示例的实施方式。本发明的各种修改对本领域技术人员将是显而易见的。这样的改变和修改可以在不背离所附权利要求的范围下做出。
此外,每个列举的范围包括范围的所有组合和子组合,以及在其中包含的具体数字。另外,在本文件中引用或描述的每个专利、专利申请和出版物的公开内容在此以其全文通过引用并入本文。
Claims (5)
1.清洁组合物,其包含:
基于所述组合物总重量的1至5重量%的清洁溶剂,其中所述清洁溶剂是式R1C(=O)OR2的酯,
其中:R1是是C11-17烷基,和
R2是乙基;
表面活性剂;
至少一种螯合剂或水溶助长剂;和
水;
其中所述酯在20℃时蒸气压小于0.1mm Hg,并且其中所述清洁组合物是非VOC组合物并且不含在20℃时蒸气压大于0.1mm Hg的碳化合物。
2.权利要求1的清洁组合物,其还包含助洗剂。
3.权利要求1的清洁组合物,其还包含另外的表面活性剂。
4.权利要求1的清洁组合物,其中所述清洁组合物的pH是至少8。
5.去除油脂污物的方法,所述方法包括将权利要求1的清洁组合物施加于所述污物。
