在其中方向盘20从转向轴22可操作地断开并且处于缩回位置的情形期间,车辆的操作者可能期望与可以与车辆通信的车辆信息娱乐系统或其他系统交互。车辆的操作者可能希望发送文本消息或SMS消息,输入期望的位置或其他搜索条件,与车辆系统对接,等等。因此,可以期望的是提供设置在方向盘20上的接口,当自主驾驶辅助转向系统14激活并且方向盘20从转向轴22选择性地或可操作地脱离并且处于非转动状态时,该接口允许车辆的操作者提供输入。
方向盘20包括方向盘本体30,方向盘手柄32,面板34,投影器组件36,输入检测装置38,以及控制器40。
方向盘本体30限定了容纳投影器组件36的隔室50。隔室50包括第一壁52,第二壁54,第三壁56,以及第四壁58。第二壁54与第一壁52间隔分开并且与第一壁52基本上平行设置。第三壁56在第一壁52和第二壁54的底部部分之间延伸。第三壁56基本上垂直于第一壁52和第二壁54的底部部分而设置。在至少一个实施例中,第一壁52和第二壁54可以在延伸远离第三壁56的方向上与彼此逐渐更远地分开。第四壁58在第一壁52、第二壁54和第三壁56之间延伸。第四壁58基本上是平面的并且比第一壁52、第二壁54和第三壁56更远离面板34设置,使得隔室50在方向盘本体30内是凹陷的。
隔室50的第四壁58限定了中心凹陷70。中心凹陷70包括第一凹陷壁72,第二凹陷壁74,第三凹陷壁76,和第四凹陷壁78。第二凹陷壁74与第一凹陷壁72间隔分开并且与第一凹陷壁72相对设置。第二凹陷壁74基本上平行于第一凹陷壁72设置。第三凹陷壁76从第一凹陷壁72的底部部分延伸至第二凹陷壁74的底部部分。第三凹陷壁76基本上垂直于第一凹陷壁72和第二凹陷壁74设置。第四凹陷壁78在第一凹陷壁72、第二凹陷壁74和第三凹陷壁76之间延伸。第四凹陷壁基本上是平面的并且比第一凹陷壁72、第二凹陷壁74和第三凹陷壁76更远离面板34设置。
方向盘手柄32围绕方向盘本体30至少部分地延伸。方向盘手柄32由延伸部分84连接至方向盘本体30。方向盘手柄32限定了握持部,车辆的操作者可以将他们的手放在该握持部上和/或通过该握持部抓握方向盘20。
面板34枢转地连接至方向盘本体30。面板34能够在用于阻止进入隔室50的关闭位置(图1)和用于允许进入隔室50的打开位置(图2和3)之间移动。面板34包括第一表面90以及与第一表面90相对设置的第二表面92。第一表面90和第二表面92中的至少一个可以被构造为投影表面94,投影器组件36可以将图像投影至该投影表面上。
投影器组件36连接至方向盘本体30。投影器组件36枢转地连接至隔室50的第一壁52和第二壁54。在至少一个实施例中,投影器组件36枢转地连接至隔室50的第四壁58。在另一实施例中,投影器组件36枢转地连接至中心凹陷70的第一凹陷壁72和第二凹陷壁74。在又一实施例中,投影器组件36连接至方向盘20的方向盘手柄32。
投影器组件36能够在存储位置和展开位置之间延伸或移动,在存储位置中,如图2所示投影器组件36被设置在隔室50和中心凹陷70中的至少一个内;在展开位置中,投影器组件36被设置在面板34的上方并且处于隔室50和中心凹陷70中的至少一个的外侧。投影器组件36包括第一部分100和第二部分102。
第一部分100包括第一端110以及与第一端110间隔分开的第二端112。第一端110枢转地连接至隔室50的第四壁58或者中心凹陷70的第一凹陷壁72和第二凹陷壁74。第二端112枢转地连接至第二部分102。第二部分102包括第一端114以及与第一端114间隔分开的第二端116。第二部分102的第一端114枢转地连接至第一部分100的第二端112。第二部分102包括靠近第二端116设置的投影器120。
投影器120在第一表面90和第二表面92中的至少一个上投影或显示虚拟输入装置122。当面板34处于关闭位置时投影器120在第一表面90上投影或显示虚拟输入装置122。当面板34处于打开位置时投影器120在第二表面92上投影或显示虚拟输入装置122。
投影器120可以是激光器或其他光学输出装置,其将代表图形用户界面的视觉图案投影为虚拟输入装置122。虚拟输入装置122可以是具有多个虚拟键124的键盘的视觉投影图像。键盘可以是“QWERTY”键盘、自适应键盘、或具有所显示的多个键图案的其他键盘。在至少一个实施例中,第一表面90和第二表面92中的至少一个设置有定位的凸起或突出,以便指示虚拟输入装置122的虚拟键124的“基键行(home row)”或“基键(home key)位置”。车辆的操作者能够提供用户输入,该用户输入由输入检测装置38解释并且被提供至与车辆信息娱乐系统、其他车辆系统或移动(nomadic)装置通信的控制器40。
输入检测装置38检测在虚拟输入装置122内的操作者的运动。输入检测装置38在虚拟输入装置122周围投影或限定检测区域130。参照图3,输入检测装置38可以连接至投影器组件36。在该实施例中,输入检测装置38可以是经由光中断或光反射而检测虚拟输入装置122内的操作者的手指或手相对于多个虚拟键124中的至少一个的位置的光学传感器等。在至少一个实施例中,输入检测装置38被设置成靠近面板34的第一表面90和第二表面92中的至少一个。在该实施例中,输入检测装置38可以是靠近检测区域130设置的振动传感器。振动传感器可以检测可能由操作者的手指或手或者虚拟输入装置122的多个虚拟键124中的至少一个内的物体的撞击而产生的振动信号或波。输入检测装置38可以基于振动信号或振动波的幅度或持续时间而输出指示虚拟输入装置122的多个虚拟键124的虚拟键由操作者的手指和/或手或物体撞击的信号。
参照图4-5,方向盘组件150被示出。方向盘组件150与自主驾驶辅助转向系统14和控制器40通信。方向盘组件150包括具有方向盘本体152、方向盘手柄154、投影器156、显示单元158和输入检测装置160的方向盘。
方向盘手柄154从方向盘本体152延伸。方向盘手柄154围绕方向盘本体152至少部分地延伸。方向盘本体152限定了投影表面170。投影表面170设置在面向车辆的操作者的方向盘本体152的表面上。投影表面170设置在方向盘本体152上位于安全气囊盖裂缝172下方。
投影器156连接至方向盘本体152。投影器156设置在方向盘本体152的顶部部分上。投影器156能够在存储位置和展开位置之间移动,在存储位置中,如图4中所示投影器156至少部分地容纳在方向盘本体152内;在展开位置中,如图5中所示投影器156在投影表面170上方延伸。投影器156可以滑动地设置在方向盘本体152的顶部部分上以使得在一些实施例中投影器156在存储位置和展开位置之间滑动。在至少一个实施例中,投影器156可以转动地或枢转地展开。
响应于用户对激活投影器156的请求,当自主驾驶辅助转向系统14激活并且方向盘20可操作地从转向轴22脱离时,控制器40被编程以命令或能够使得投影器156以从存储位置展开至展开位置。响应于自主驾驶辅助转向系统14的停用并且方向盘被命令以联接或可操作地联接至转向轴,则控制器40被编程以命令或能够实现投影器156从展开位置缩回至存储位置。
投影器156将虚拟输入装置180投影或显示至投影表面170上。投影器156可以是激光器或其他光学输出装置,其将代表图形用户界面的视觉图案投影为虚拟输入装置180。虚拟输入装置180可以是具有多个虚拟键182的键盘的视觉投影图像。车辆的操作者能够提供用户输入,该用户输入由输入检测装置160解释并且被提供至与车辆信息娱乐系统、其他车辆系统或移动装置通信的显示单元158和控制器40。
显示单元158设置在方向盘本体152上。显示单元158设置在投影表面170的上方并且设置在安全气囊盖裂缝172的上方。显示单元158是显示器屏幕,该显示器屏幕显示被提供至虚拟输入装置180中的用户输入。显示单元158和投影器156与控制器40通信。响应于被提供至虚拟输入装置180的多个虚拟键182中的至少一个的用户输入,该用户输入由输入检测装置160和/或控制器40解释并且被输出以用于经由显示单元158而显示用户输入。
输入检测装置160连接至投影器156。输入检测装置160面向投影表面170。输入检测装置160被构造成检测虚拟输入装置180内的操作者相对于多个虚拟键182的运动。输入检测装置160在虚拟输入装置180周围投影或限定检测区域190。
参照图6,其示出了向车辆操作者提供虚拟输入装置的方法的流程图。该方法可以由控制器40执行并且可以被实施为闭环控制系统。为了简洁下面将在单个方法迭代的背景下描述该方法。
该方法可以监测并接收指示自主驾驶辅助转向系统14的激活状态以及方向盘是否可操作地联接至转向轴的数据。在方框200处,该方法确定自主驾驶辅助转向系统14是否激活。如果自主驾驶辅助转向系统14未激活,该方法可以结束。如果自主驾驶辅助转向系统14激活,该方法可以继续至方框202。
在方框202处,该方法确定方向盘是否可操作地从转向轴脱离。如果方向盘可操作地联接至转向轴,该方法可以结束。如果方向盘响应于自主驾驶辅助转向系统14的激活而从转向轴可操作地脱离,该方法可以继续至方框204。在方框204处,投影器可以被启动以便从存储位置移动至展开位置。在方框206处,投影器可以被激活以使得投影器可以将虚拟输入装置投影至方向盘的投影表面上。
该方法可以继续监测用户输入是否已经被提供至由投影器投影至方向盘的投影表面上的虚拟输入装置。在方框208处,该方法经由输入检测装置确定是否在虚拟输入装置内检测到用户输入。如果经由输入检测装置在虚拟输入装置内没有检测到用户输入,则该方法可以结束。如果经由输入检测装置在虚拟输入装置内检测到用户输入,则该方法可以继续至方框210。在方框210处,该方法经由设置在方向盘上的显示单元或者经由车辆接口输出以用于显示用户输入。
该方法继续监测并且接收指示自主驾驶辅助转向系统14的激活状态以及方向盘是否可操作地联接至转向轴的数据。在方框212处,该方法确定自主驾驶辅助转向系统14是否已经被停用。自主驾驶辅助转向系统14可以响应于停用该自主驾驶辅助转向系统14的用户输入或者通过尝试操作方向盘而控制车辆的操作者干预而被停用。方向盘响应于自主驾驶辅助转向系统14的停用而可操作地联接至转向轴。如果自主驾驶辅助转向系统14是激活的,该方法可以返回至方框208。如果自主驾驶辅助转向系统14被停用,该方法可以继续至方框214。
在方框214处,该方法确定方向盘是否可操作地联接至转向轴。如果方向盘从转向轴可操作地脱离,则该方法可以结束。如果方向盘响应于自主驾驶辅助转向系统14的停用而可操作地联接至转向轴,则该方法可以继续至方框216。在方框216处,投影器可以被禁用以使得投影器不会将虚拟输入装置投影至方向盘的投影表面上并且投影器被命令从展开位置移动至存储位置。
虽然仅结合有限数量的实施例已经详细描述了本发明,但应该容易地理解的是,本发明不限于这样的公开实施例。相反,本发明能够被修改成包括此前未描述的、但是与本发明的精神和范围相称的任意数量的变型、改变、替换或等同结构。额外地,虽然已经描述了本发明的各种实施例,但是要理解的是,本发明的各方面可以仅包括所述实施例中的一些。因此,本发明不被视作受前述描述的限制。

Claims (13)

1.一种方向盘组件,包括:
面板,所述面板连接至方向盘本体,所述面板具有与第二表面相对设置的第一表面;
投影器组件,所述投影器组件连接至所述方向盘本体,当所述方向盘处于非转动状态时,所述投影器组件在所述第一表面和所述第二表面中的至少一个上显示虚拟输入装置,
其中,所述方向盘本体限定了被构造成容纳所述投影器组件的隔室。
2.根据权利要求1所述的方向盘组件,其中,所述隔室具有第一壁,与所述第一壁间隔分开的第二壁,以及在所述第一壁和所述第二壁之间延伸的第三壁。
3.根据权利要求2所述的方向盘组件,其中,所述投影器组件枢转地连接至所述第一壁和所述第二壁。
4.根据权利要求3所述的方向盘组件,其中,所述面板能够在关闭位置和打开位置之间移动。
5.根据权利要求4所述的方向盘组件,其中,当所述面板处于关闭位置时,所述投影器组件在所述第一表面上显示所述虚拟输入装置。
6.根据权利要求5所述的方向盘组件,其中,当所述面板处于打开位置时,所述投影器在所述第二表面上显示所述虚拟输入装置。
7.根据权利要求6所述的方向盘组件,进一步包括连接至所述投影器的输入检测装置,所述输入检测装置检测靠近所述虚拟输入装置的操作者的运动。
8.一种方向盘组件,包括:
方向盘,所述方向盘具有投影表面;以及
投影器,所述投影器连接至所述方向盘,所述投影器能够在存储位置和展开位置之间移动,在所述存储位置中,所述投影器容纳在所述方向盘本体内;在所述展开位置中,所述投影器在所述投影表面上方延伸;所述投影器被构造成当所述方向盘处于非转动状态时将虚拟输入装置投影至所述投影表面上。
9.根据权利要求8所述的方向盘组件,进一步包括设置在所述方向盘本体上位于所述投影表面上方的显示单元。
10.根据权利要求9所述的方向盘组件,进一步包括连接至所述投影器的输入检测装置,所述输入检测装置被构造成检测在所述虚拟输入装置内的操作者的运动,并且被构造成输出以用于经由所述显示单元而显示用户输入。
11.根据权利要求10所述的方向盘组件,其中,所述显示单元和所述投影器与控制器通信。
12.根据权利要求11所述的方向盘组件,其中,响应于激活所述投影器的第一用户请求,当所述方向盘从转向轴可操作地脱离时,所述控制器被编程以便使得所述投影器能够将所述虚拟输入装置投影至所述投影表面上。
13.根据权利要求12所述的方向盘组件,其中,响应于将所述方向盘可操作地联接至所述转向轴的第二用户请求,所述控制器被编程以便禁用所述投影器。
