可用于本发明的两性离子表面活性剂可宽泛地描述为脂族季铵、磷和锍化合物的衍生物,其中脂族基团可为直链或支链的,并且其中一个脂族取代基含有约8-约18个碳原子,一个含有阴离子水-增溶性基团,例如,羧基、磺酸根、硫酸根、磷酸根或膦酸根。还可利用两性离子表面活性剂的混合物。在一些实施方案中,两性离子表面活性剂包含甜菜碱,例如,椰油酰胺丙基甜菜碱。
适用于本发明的组合物的非离子表面活性剂通常通过环氧烷基团(亲水性质)与可为脂族或烷基芳族性质的有机疏水化合物缩合产生,例如烷基苯酚的聚环氧乙烷缩合物、衍生自环氧乙烷与环氧丙烷和乙二胺的反应产物的缩合的产物、脂族醇、长链叔胺氧化物、长链叔膦氧化物、长链二烷基亚砜的环氧乙烷缩合物和这样的材料的混合物。在一些实施方案中,非离子表面活性剂包含基于环氧乙烷和环氧丙烷的嵌段共聚物,例如,泊洛沙姆。泊洛沙姆为由侧面具有两个聚氧乙烯(聚(环氧乙烷))的亲水链的聚氧丙烯(聚(环氧丙烷))的中心疏水链组成的非离子三嵌段共聚物。泊洛沙姆也以商品名Pluronic®已知。在一些实施方案中,非离子表面活性剂为泊洛沙姆407,也以BASF商品名Pluronic® F127已知。
在一些实施方案中,所述组合物包含约1-约10重量%的表面活性剂系统。在一些实施方案中,所述组合物包含约2-约8重量%的表面活性剂系统。在一些实施方案中,所述组合物包含约3-约6重量%的表面活性剂系统。在一些实施方案中,所述组合物包含约4-约5重量%的表面活性剂系统。在一些实施方案中,所述组合物包含约4.25重量%的表面活性剂系统。
一些实施方案提供一种组合物,所述组合物包含:约1.5重量%的阴离子表面活性剂;约0.75重量%的两性离子表面活性剂;约2重量%的非离子表面活性剂;约0.85重量%的结构化试剂;约1.5重量%的亲脂性试剂;和约28重量%的游离水。
在一些实施方案中,亲脂性试剂、表面活性剂系统和含水组分能形成乳液。
一些实施方案提供一种组合物,所述组合物还包含氟离子来源。在一些实施方案中,氟离子来源选自:氟化亚锡、氟化钠、氟化钾、单氟磷酸钠、氟硅酸钠、氟硅酸铵、氟化胺、氟化铵,和其中的两种或更多种的组合。在一些实施方案中,氟离子来源包含氟化钠。
在一些实施方案中,氟离子来源以有效提供约25-约25,000 ppm的浓度存在。在其它实施方案中,氟离子来源以有效提供约750-约2,000 ppm的浓度存在。还其它的实施方案提供组合物,其中氟离子来源以约0.05-约0.5重量%的浓度存在。再其它的实施方案提供组合物,其中氟离子来源以约0.1-约0.3重量%的浓度存在。其它实施方案提供组合物,其中氟离子来源以约0.2-约0.25重量%的浓度存在。一些实施方案提供组合物,其中氟离子来源以约0.24重量%的浓度存在。
在一些实施方案中,所述组合物还包含研磨剂。一些实施方案提供研磨剂的组合。一些实施方案包括较硬和较软材料的组合,以清洁和抛光牙齿。一些实施方案包含二氧化硅研磨剂,例如平均粒径高达约20微米的沉淀二氧化硅,例如Zeodent® 115®或119®,由J.M. Huber.销售。其它可用的研磨剂还包括偏磷酸钠、偏磷酸钾、硅酸铝、煅烧的氧化铝、膨润土或其它硅质材料,或它们的组合。在一些实施方案中,二氧化硅研磨剂可为硅胶,例如在Pader等人的美国专利号3,538,230和Digiulio的美国专利号3,862,307中描述的二氧化硅干凝胶,二者均通过引用结合到本文中。具体的二氧化硅干凝胶以商品名Syloid®由W.R. 在一些实施方案中,研磨剂包含磷酸钙研磨剂,例如,磷酸三钙(Ca3(PO4)2)、羟基磷灰石(Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2)或二水合磷酸氢钙(CaHPO4 • 2H2O,在本文中有时也称为DiCal)或焦磷酸钙。或者,碳酸钙(特别是沉淀碳酸钙)可用作研磨剂。
在一些实施方案中,本发明的组合物可包含抗菌剂,例如三氯生。在一些实施方案中,三氯生以组合物的约0.3重量%的浓度存在。
在一些实施方案中,所述组合物包含聚氧乙烯(例如聚乙二醇)。适用于本文描述的组合物的聚氧乙烯的分子量为约200,000-约7,000,000。在一些实施方案中,分子量为约600,000-约2,000,000,在另一个实施方案中,分子量为约800,000-约1,000,000。在一些实施方案中,聚氧乙烯以组合物的约1-约10重量%的浓度存在。在一些实施方案中,聚氧乙烯以组合物的约2-约5重量%的浓度存在。在一些实施方案中,聚氧乙烯以组合物的约3重量%的浓度存在。
适用于本发明组合物的另一组试剂为可溶性焦磷酸盐。用于本发明的组合物的焦磷酸盐可为任何碱金属焦磷酸盐。在某些实施方案中,盐包括四碱金属焦磷酸盐、二碱金属二酸焦磷酸盐、三碱金属单酸焦磷酸盐和它们的混合物,其中碱金属为钠或钾。盐可使用它们的水合的和未水合的形式。可用于本发明的组合物的有效量的焦磷酸盐通常足以提供至少约1.0重量%焦磷酸根离子、约1.5重量%-约6重量%、约3.5重量%-约6重量%的这样的离子。

在一些实施方案中,本发明的组合物在使用期间产生泡沫。在一些实施方案中,在刷期间产生泡沫。在一些实施方案中,泡沫包含含有亲脂性试剂的基质。在一些实施方案中,泡沫的平均密度大于约0.05 g/mL。在一些实施方案中,泡沫的平均密度为约0.05-约0.2 g/mL。在一些实施方案中,泡沫的平均密度为约0.10-约0.15 g/mL。在一些实施方案中,泡沫的平均密度为约0.11-约0.14 g/mL。
在一些实施方案中,泡沫体积大于约100 mL。在一些实施方案中,泡沫体积为约500 mL。在一些实施方案中,泡沫体积为约100-约500 mL。在其它实施方案中,泡沫体积为约125-约475 mL。在其它实施方案中,泡沫体积为约150-约450 mL。在其它实施方案中,泡沫体积为约175-约425 mL。再其它实施方案提供组合物,其中泡沫体积为约200-400 mL。在一些实施方案中,泡沫体积为约225-约375 mL。在一些实施方案中,泡沫体积为约250-约350 mL。在一些实施方案中,泡沫体积为约275-约325 mL。
一些实施方案提供一种改善亲脂性试剂向口腔递送的方法,所述方法包括使有需要的受试者的口腔表面与前述权利要求中任一项的组合物接触。
在一些实施方案中,亲脂性试剂的改善的递送导致增强使用者的凉爽和/或香味感觉。
其它实施方案提供了一种抑制或降低牙斑的累积、降低产生酸的细菌(致龋细菌)的水平、使牙齿重新矿物质化和抑制或降低牙龈炎的方法。一些实施方案还包括用于清洁口腔的方法和提供促进口腔健康和/或全身健康(包括心血管健康)的改善方法,例如,通过降低经由口腔组织使全身感染的可能。
以下实施例进一步描述和证明在本发明范围内的示例性实施方案。给出实施例仅用于举例说明,不应看作是限制本发明,因为在不偏离本发明的精神和范围的情况下,许多变化是可能的。除了本文显示和描述的那些以外,本发明的各种修改对于本领域技术人员来说应是显而易见的,并且将落入所附权利要求的范围内。
实施例
实施例1
使用不同成分的系统变体来测试基础制剂的发泡性质,以确定不同的成分对泡沫密度和体积的影响。
使用可得自SITA Messtechnik GmbH的SITA泡沫测试仪R-2000测量泡沫体积和泡沫密度。使用受控量的材料,在受控的条件下,由1:4比率的牙膏和水的浆料样品产生泡沫。泡沫体积为在引发泡沫产生之后(即,在搅拌棒开始移动之后)30秒时,观察到的由样品产生的泡沫量。泡沫密度为用转化为泡沫的液体质量除以转化为泡沫的液体体积。
实施例2
表1(以下)描述本发明的示例性组合物(组合物A)和市售可得的牙膏(比较实施例I)的配方。实验室和感觉测试结果二者验证,相对于具有类似制剂的市售可得的牙膏,组合物A呈现较高的泡沫体积和泡沫密度。

比较测试的结果说明,比起通过比较实施例I产生的泡沫,组合物A产生具有更大泡沫密度和泡沫体积的泡沫。泡沫的中-红外光谱分析显示,与保留在比较实施例I的泡沫中的相比,组合物A的更致密的泡沫在牙膏浆料的泡沫部分中保留更多的十二烷基硫酸钠(SLS),即,比起牙膏浆料的液体部分,组合物A在泡沫部分中具有更多的SLS,而比较实施例I在液体部分中具有更多的SLS。SLS在更致密的泡沫中更好的保留有助于香料更好地保留在泡沫中,导致在使用期间改善的香味和凉爽感觉。
实施例3
在消费者家庭使用测试中测试原型产品和一种工业基准产品的三种香味,涉及约150个应答者(18-45岁年龄,70%女性,30%男性),预先筛选医疗或牙齿问题或可能偏离结果的行业联盟。消费者使用每一种产品三天,并且回答问卷,并且分析数据。
大多数消费者发现在显著高于现有工业制剂的原型中,泡沫的量和稠度大致准确,尽管少量感觉太多。

还要求消费者基于9点评价表(从9“极喜爱”到1“极不喜爱”的9个框,结果以百分比给出)来为制剂的香味特性评级。在表3 (以上)中描述的结果显示本发明的示例性组合物提供增强的香味和消费者吸引力。
本领域技术人员会理解,在不偏离本发明的精神下,可对本文描述的实施方案进行许多改变和修改。所有此类变体都将落入所附权利要求范围内。
Claims (18)
1.一种口腔护理组合物,所述组合物包含:
表面活性剂系统,所述系统包含:
阴离子表面活性剂;
两性离子表面活性剂;和
非离子表面活性剂;
结构化试剂;
亲脂性试剂;和
24-32重量%的游离水,
其中所述表面活性剂系统包含:
约0.5-约3重量%的阴离子表面活性剂;
约0.2-约3重量%的两性离子表面活性剂;和
约1-约3重量%的非离子表面活性剂,
其中所述结构化试剂为非纤维素树胶-类型胶态聚合物。
2.权利要求1的组合物,其中所述组合物为牙膏。
3.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,其中所述亲脂性试剂包含香料组分的混合物。
4.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,其中所述亲脂性试剂的分配系数(辛烷-水)为总log P值大于约1.5。
5.权利要求1的组合物,所述组合物包含:
约0.1-约2重量%的结构化试剂;和
约1-约3重量%的亲脂性试剂。
6.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,其中所述阴离子表面活性剂包含十二烷基硫酸钠。
7.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,其中所述两性离子表面活性剂包含椰油酰胺丙基甜菜碱。
8.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,其中所述非离子表面活性剂包含泊洛沙姆407。
9.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,其中所述结构化试剂为黄原胶。
10.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,所述组合物包含:
约1.5重量%的阴离子表面活性剂;
约0.75重量%的两性离子表面活性剂;
约2重量%的非离子表面活性剂;
约0.85重量%的结构化试剂;
约1.5重量%的亲脂性试剂;和
约28重量%的游离水。
11.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,其中所述亲脂性试剂、表面活性剂系统和含水组分能形成乳液。
12.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,所述组合物还包含选自以下的氟离子来源:氟化亚锡、氟化钠、氟化钾、单氟磷酸钠、氟硅酸钠、氟硅酸铵、氟化胺、氟化铵,和其中两种或更多种的组合。
13.前述权利要求中任一项的组合物,其中所述组合物在使用期间产生泡沫。
14.权利要求13的组合物,其中所述泡沫包含含有所述亲脂性试剂的基质。
15.权利要求13或权利要求14的组合物,其中所述泡沫的平均密度大于约0.05 g/mL。
16.权利要求13-15中任一项的组合物,其中所述泡沫的体积大于约100 mL。
17.一种牙膏组合物,所述组合物包含:
大于约4重量%的表面活性剂;
结构化试剂;和
亲脂性试剂。
18.一种改善亲脂性试剂向口腔递送的方法,所述方法包括使有需要的受试者的口腔表面与前述权利要求中任一项的组合物接触。
