Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to an engine upper cover.
Background
Traditional engine includes the cylinder cap at cylinder body, cylinder body top and the upper cover at cylinder cap top, and camshaft and other essential element all set up in the cylinder cap, and the upper cover mainly plays and shelters from the effect, because the cylinder cap structure is complicated, and the heat dissipation is not good, leads to traditional engine to have a great deal of defect. Thus, in view of the arrangement of the camshaft and some components on the upper cover, although the engine structure is improved, there are still many disadvantages:
1. in winter, some vehicles can be frozen due to cold weather, and then some vehicle owners can water the engine with hot water, so that the engine can be started quickly. In the past, because a gap is formed at the contact position of an engine and a belt wheel chamber, water flows into the belt wheel chamber, so that the rotation of a belt wheel is influenced, and the engine is burnt.
2. For a conventional diesel engine, the camshaft is on the cylinder head (1 or 2). Because the upper cover structure is comparatively compact, 2 tile covers and bolt fastening about the general camshaft need the cooperation when the installation accomplish, it is comparatively inconvenient when the installation, and can't ensure that camshaft installation angle is correct, still have the axial float, reduced the reliability, influenced life.
3. The traditional engine cylinder cover air inlet is provided with a plurality of flange surfaces which are respectively connected with the air inlet branch pipes, so that the structural complexity is increased.
4. The fuel injector of a traditional engine is fixed on a cylinder cover. Because the cylinder cap structure is comparatively complicated, it is comparatively inconvenient during the installation.
5. The traditional engine has a separate air inlet pipe and is not arranged on the upper cover.
6. No oil-gas separation device is arranged on an upper cover of a traditional engine, so that the whole cylinder cover is complex.

The lower surface of upper cover body still is provided with upper cover air inlet and upper cover gas outlet, and upper cover air inlet and upper cover gas outlet communicate each other, and the upper cover air inlet has one, and the upper cover gas outlet has eight, and all has the passageway to communicate each other between per two upper cover gas outlets.
The lower surface of the upper cover body is also provided with a fixed mounting hole and a positioning pin hole at corresponding positions.
Compared with the prior art, the invention has the beneficial effects that:
1. because the camshaft extends the setting of boss, the camshaft extends the boss and stretches into the belt pulley room when the installation, has eliminated the clearance, can prevent rivers from flowing into from the clearance, and the belt pulley room is the engine normal operating and safe and reliable's important assurance.
2. With camshaft direct mount on the upper cover, practiced thrift the space, also reduced the upper cover installation degree of difficulty, insert the pin and cooperate with the camshaft mounting hole from the hole in right time when installing the camshaft, ensure that camshaft installation angle is correct, consequently can't guarantee the normal safe handling of engine, because the setting of thrust surface has reduced the axial float.
3. Because the upper cover structure is more compact, the flange surface of the air inlet is directly acted on the upper cover, the utilization rate of the air is improved, the space is saved, and the installation steps are also reduced.
4. The fuel injector fixing frame is placed on the upper cover, so that the space is saved, the installation is convenient, and the weight of the upper cover is also reduced
5. The air passages are all integrated to act on the upper cover, so that gas is utilized more timely and fully, the weight of the upper cover is reduced, and the complexity of the engine is reduced.
6. Two oil-gas separation holes are additionally arranged on the upper cover for installing the oil-gas separation device, so that the space of the upper cover is saved, and the upper cover is more fully utilized.
7. The air flue is integrated, so that the air input is increased, the gas is fully combusted, the pollutant emission is reduced, and the energy is saved and the environment is protected.
Therefore, the upper cover of the engine has the advantages of compact structure, convenience in installation, good safety, long service life, energy conservation and emission reduction.
