Abstract
The invention discloses a power supply device of a server, which supplies power to the server, wherein the server is only provided with a power supply installation position and comprises a power supply device unit and a control circuit board; the power supply device unit is detachably mounted on the power supply mounting position of the server and outputs electric power to the server; the control circuit board is electrically connected with the power supply device unit to control the power output of the power supply device unit. The power supply device of the server has the advantages that the size of the server is reduced due to the fact that only one power supply installation position is arranged, the complexity of a corresponding control program is effectively reduced due to the fact that only one power supply unit is arranged, the power supply unit is simple in structure, easy to install and disassemble and convenient to use.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of power supply of intelligent equipment, in particular to a power supply device of a server.
Background
At present, a power device in a server includes a plurality of power device units (PSU) and corresponding control circuits, the power device units are standard modules with the same shape, the design increases the complexity of the power device, corresponding program codes also need to be added in the BIOS and BMC of the server when controlling the plurality of power device units, which causes further increase of the complexity of the program design, and errors easily occur in the calling process, and a plurality of power device units need to use an independent control circuit board, which occupies valuable space in the server due to large volume.

An embodiment of the present invention provides a power supply device for a server, which has a simple structure, and can reduce the complexity of a control program, reduce the size of the server, and reduce the cost.

Preferably, the control circuit board is in communication connection with a main board of the server through a data line.
Preferably, the power supply mounting portion is configured as a regularly shaped slot having an opening.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a server which is only provided with one power supply installation position, and the server comprises the power supply device, wherein the power supply device unit is detachably arranged on the power supply installation position.
The embodiment of the invention has the beneficial effects that: the power supply device of the server has the advantages that the size of the server is reduced due to the fact that only one power supply installation position is arranged, the complexity of a corresponding control program is effectively reduced due to the fact that only one power supply unit is arranged, the power supply unit is simple in structure, easy to install and disassemble and convenient to use.

The structure of the power supply device can reduce the complexity of the design of the power supply device, and in addition, in order to control the BIOS and BMC of the power supply device unit 1, the server 7 usually has corresponding program codes, the structure of the power supply device reduces the complexity of the control programs in the BIOS and BMC, and reduces the error probability.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the power supply unit 1 is mounted on the power supply mounting site 4 by the locking member 3. Locking member 3 can be with power supply unit 1 locking on power installation position 4 during operation, can unlock locking member 3 when changing or checking power supply unit 1, easily takes out power supply unit 1 from power installation position 4, and this locking member 3 can be multiple structure, if can use bolt and corresponding mounting plate, also can use the structure of joint etc. for power supply unit 1 can be fixed on power installation position 4 or is dismantled from power installation position 4.
In one embodiment of the present invention, the locker 3 has a rotating shaft through which the power supply unit 1 slides out of the power supply installation site 4 when the locker 3 is in a non-locked state. The control circuit board 2 is connected with a mainboard 6 of a server 7 in a communication mode through a data line 5. The CPU and other devices can control the control circuit board 2 through the motherboard 6, and further control the power supply of the power supply device. In one embodiment, the power supply installation position 4 where the power supply device is installed is adjacent to the main board 6, and the control circuit board 2 is installed on or close to the power supply device, so that the data line 5 is short in length and easy to wire, power loss is reduced, and meanwhile loss of communication signals is avoided.
The power supply installation site 4 is constructed as a regularly shaped trough body having one opening. In one embodiment, the slot body is a hollow cubic structure and has an opening on one side, and the material of the slot body can be selected from metal, so that the power supply unit 1 is prevented from electromagnetic interference when being installed in the slot body, the stability of the power supply unit is improved, vibration of the power supply unit during operation (for example, vibration of the power supply unit caused by rotation of a fan) is avoided, and the power supply unit 1 can be taken out from the opening. In another embodiment, the tank body is of a hollow cubic structure and has an opening of a bottom surface from which the power supply unit 1 can be taken out.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a server 7, the server 7 is provided with only one power supply installation position 4, the server 7 comprises the power supply device, wherein the power supply device unit 1 is detachably installed on the power supply installation position 4, the power supply device supplies power to the server 7, and for example, a plurality of components on the server 7 are electrically connected with the power supply device to receive power supply. The server 7 has reduced size and reduced production cost.

the power supply device unit is detachably arranged on the power supply installation position of the server, outputs power to a plurality of components of the server and adjusts the power supply mode correspondingly, wherein the power supply mode is adjusted according to the hot plug state of the components;
the control circuit board is electrically connected with the power supply device unit to control the power supply device unit to output power in one of a plurality of power supply modes, wherein the power supply mode comprises the mode of supplying power to a server when an external power supply supplies power or the mode of supplying power to the server by using the power stored in the control circuit board; wherein,
the power supply device unit is arranged on the power supply installation position through a locking piece;
the locking piece is provided with a rotating shaft, and the power supply device unit slides out of the power supply installation position through the rotating shaft when the locking piece is in a non-locking state; the power supply device unit is installed on the installation plate of the locking piece, the installation plate is connected to the fixing portion of the locking piece through the rotating shaft of the locking piece, the fixing portion is locked on the case of the server, the ejection switch is arranged on the installation plate, after the ejection switch is touched, the power supply device unit is ejected out through rotation of the rotating shaft, the ejection switch is pressed and the initial state of the ejection switch is recovered when the power supply device unit is placed back to the power supply installation position, and therefore the power supply device unit is fixed to the power supply installation position.
2. The power supply device according to claim 1, wherein the control circuit board is communicatively connected to a main board of the server via a data line.
3. The power supply device according to claim 1, wherein the power supply mounting portion is configured as a regularly shaped slot body having an opening.
4. A server having only one power supply installation site, the server comprising the power supply device according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the power supply device unit is detachably mounted on the power supply installation site.
