背景技术
许多一次性吸收制品包括润湿指示标记。润湿指示标记组合物可包含着色剂,所述着色剂适于在与制品中的液体诸如尿液、稀便、经液等接触时改变外观,即,显现、消失、改变颜色等。许多润湿指示标记组合物中所用的颜色变化活性物质为颜色在3.8至5.4的pH范围内从黄色变为蓝色的pH指示剂诸如溴甲酚绿等。在与液体诸如尿液接触时,pH指示剂将由于尿液的较高pH而变色,以指示液体的存在。
然而,当前基于pH的润湿指示标记可能是不可靠的,具有诸如过早触发和/或滤出的问题,并且存在对可用的颜色选择种类的限制。因此,一直需要简单的润湿/流体指示标记。还一直需要扩展用于此类润湿/流体指示标记体系中的颜色选择的方法,以及将此类润湿/流体指示标记掺入吸收制品中的方法。
发明内容

具体实施方式
定义
“吸收制品”是指吸收和容纳身体流出物的装置,更具体地,是指紧贴或邻近穿着者的身体以吸收和容纳各种由身体排放的流出物的装置。吸收制品可包括尿布、训练裤、成人失禁内衣、妇女卫生制品、胸垫、护理垫、围兜、伤口敷料产品等。如本文所用,术语“体液”或“身体流出物”包括但不限于尿液、血液、阴道分泌物、乳汁、汗液和粪便。
“吸收芯”是指如下结构,所述结构通常设置在吸收制品的顶片和底片之间来用于吸收和容纳由吸收制品所接收的液体,并且可包括一个或多个基底、设置在所述一个或多个基底上的吸收性聚合物材料、以及位于吸收性粒状聚合物材料和所述一个或多个基底的至少一部分上的热塑性组合物,所述热塑性组合物用于将吸收性粒状聚合物材料固定在所述一个或多个基底上。
“吸收性聚合物材料”、“吸收胶凝材料”、“AGM”、“超吸收剂”和“超吸收材料”在本文中可互换使用并且是指交联聚合物材料。当使用“离心保留容量”测试(Edana 441.2-01)来测量时,所述聚合物材料可吸收至少5倍于它们自身重量的含水的0.9%盐水溶液。
“包括”和“包含”是开放式术语,每个均指定其后所述例如一个组分的存在,但不排除本领域已知的或本文所公开的其它特征例如元件、步骤或组分的存在。

“纤维”和“长丝”是可互换使用的。
“非织造材料”为由定向或任意取向的纤维通过摩擦和/或内聚力和/或粘附而粘结成的、或通过湿磨法而毡化成的人造片、纤维网或毛层,不包括纸材和通过织造、针织、簇成、缝编的合并结合纱或长丝的产品,不考虑是否另外缝过。这些纤维可为天然来源或人造来源,并且可为短纱或连续长丝或原位形成的纤维。可商购获得的纤维的直径范围为小于约0.001mm至大于约0.2mm,并且它们具有几种不同的形式:短纤维(称作短纱或短切纤维)、连续单纤维(长丝或单丝)、无捻连续长丝束(丝束)和加捻连续长丝束(纱)。非织造织物可通过许多方法诸如熔喷法、纺粘法、溶液纺丝法、静电纺纱法、和梳理法来形成。非织造织物的基重通常用克/平方米(gsm)表示。

着色剂
在本发明中使用的润湿指示组合物包含与至少一种持久性着色剂组合的至少一种液体活化着色剂。着色剂可为染料、油墨、颜料、或pH指示剂。当持久性着色剂在润湿指示标记基质中时,其颜色在任何时候基本上不发生变化。换言之,在干燥和润湿状态的特定润湿指示标记基质中,持久性着色剂的颜色基本上相同,这也表述为处于初始状态和其最终状态的持久性着色剂的颜色基本上相同。持久性着色剂可为例如颜料或染料或甚至液体活化的pH指示剂着色剂。虽然pH指示剂着色剂可被定义为持久性着色剂似乎可能违反直觉,因为其随pH环境而改变颜色,但是如果干燥和潮湿状态环境的pH可维持在pH指示剂着色剂的酸性范围或碱性范围,则可以使pH指示剂着色剂维持基本持久且恒定的颜色。例如,将所用的焰红染料B(还称之为D&C红28)视为持久性着色剂。焰红染料B具有约2.9的pKa,使得如果环境pH处于其低于2.9的酸性范围,特别是如果pH小于焰红染料B的pKa至少一个单位时,焰红染料将呈无色。如果环境pH高于该2.9的pKa,特别是如果pH高于焰红染料B的pKa一个单位或更多时,焰红染料pH指示剂着色剂的颜色呈粉紫色。因此,如果可将干燥状态的指示标记和润湿流体两者的pH维持在焰红染料的pKa 2.9以上,则焰红染料B将永久性地保持其粉紫色的碱性颜色。这可通过用基于弱羧酸的稳定剂如脂肪酸以干燥状态配制焰红染料B来实现,使得干燥的润湿指示标记组合物呈粉紫色。在与pH为约6的尿液接触时,颜色保持与粉紫色基本相同。
这甚至在引入流体诸如尿液时对所有着色剂基本上保留在它们来源于其中的润湿指示标记基质中也是重要的。在其润湿之后,这对着色剂基本上保留在润湿指示标记基质中是重要的,因此护理者可观察到底片上的颜色变化。如果着色剂基本上滤出润湿指示标记基质并扩散到吸收制品的芯中,则颜色变化更难以被护理者检测到,或者在最坏的情况下,着色剂可通过底片滤出并染污婴儿的衣服或床单。
持久性着色剂可起到改变润湿指示标记组合物在其干燥状态或与如尿液的流体接触后的颜色改变状态的颜色色调的作用。油溶性持久性着色剂的一些示例包括D&C黄11号、D&C红17号、D&C红21号、D&C红27号(也称之为酸性焰红染料B)、D&C紫2号、D&C绿6号、以及D&C橙5号。另外的持久性着色剂包括颜料红146(CAS#5280-68-2)、颜料红122(CAS#980-26-7)、颜料橙16(CAS#6505-28-8)、食品着色剂如FD&C蓝1号、FD&C红40号、胭脂树橙、番茄红素、胭脂红、接骨木汁、红甜菜提取物和β-胡萝卜素。这些持久性着色剂不仅可改变处于干燥或润湿状态的润湿指示标记组合物的颜色色调,而且它们可为有利的,因为它们中的许多在亲水性液体如尿液中具有降低的溶解度。因此,它们的滤出被抑制并且它们具有在用含水液体如尿液润湿后主要保持结合在亲脂性润湿指示标记组合物内的更高概率。在某些情况下,更易溶于极性溶剂如水的亲水性着色剂也可用作持久性着色剂。当亲水性着色剂由于所述着色剂和润湿指示标记组合物中的另一种成分之间的强效粘结形成而被结合在润湿指示标记组合物内时,这种情况可发生。例如,在某些情况下,亲水性的阴离子着色剂可由于与阳离子粘结试剂的强效粘结形成而变成永久性结合在润湿指示标记组合物内,或者亲水性的阳离子着色剂可由于与阴离子粘结试剂的强效粘结形成而变成永久性粘结在润湿指示标记组合物内。
液体活化着色剂是在被流体如尿液侵害后在润湿指示标记组合物内颜色改变的着色剂。简而言之,液体活化着色剂在干燥状态呈一种独特颜色并且在被体液如尿液润湿后呈不同的且独特的颜色。因此液体活化着色剂在其初始状态或干燥状态为第一颜色,并且在其最终状态或润湿状态为第二颜色。例如,润湿指示标记可在干燥状态呈黄色,并且在润湿状态变成蓝色,因为液体活化着色剂随pH的变化而改变颜色。因此,在包含酸的情况下,液体活化着色剂如溴甲酚绿可被配制成pH低于其pKa的润湿指示标记。在干燥的润湿指示组合物内的pH低于其pKa的情况下,溴甲酚绿将为其黄色的游离酸形式。在被体液例如具有约6的更高pH(高于溴甲酚绿的pKa)的尿液侵害之后,溴甲酚绿形式的液体活化着色剂的颜色将变为蓝绿色。pH改变而引起的这种液体活化的颜色变化称为加酸显色。
液体活化着色剂的颜色变化不仅可由pH改变而触发,而且还可由流体内的其它组分而触发。例如,对于在与特定金属如二价钙离子反应时变色的液体活化着色剂,尿液内的钙金属离子可触发液体活化的颜色变化。这些着色剂被称为金属显色剂,因为其在与不同的金属结合时变色。还存在因处于不同溶剂环境中而变色的着色剂。因此,着色剂可在有机和亲脂的润湿指示标记组合物中呈一种特定颜色,并且在被亲水性尿液内的水侵害时颜色发生变化。这称为溶剂化显色。
值得注意的是,如果为此目的而配制润湿指示标记组合物,则液体活化着色剂可表现为持久性着色剂。例如,溶剂化显色的液体活化着色剂可在亲脂型粘结基质如热熔融粘合剂组合物中呈黄色,并且当亲水且含水的体液如尿液与WI组合物接触时变为蓝色。但是,润湿指示标记粘结基质可采用高浓度的亲水性成分如聚乙二醇配制,从而使溶剂化显色的指示标记变成蓝色。因此,该具有高浓度亲水性聚乙二醇的干燥状态的润湿指示标记组合物的颜色将为蓝色,并且可在与亲水性体液如尿液接触后保持该蓝色。因此,该溶剂化显色的着色剂将表现为持久性着色剂。如前所述,根据润湿指示标记基质和与润湿指示标记组合物接触的流体两者的pH,其它液体活化指示剂着色剂如pH液体-活化的着色剂可表现为液体活化着色剂或持久性着色剂。对于详细的组合物,参见以下实施例2。

一种或多种液体活化着色剂可为润湿指示组合物的约0.01重量%至约20重量%。在一些实施方案中,一种或多种液体活化着色剂可为约0.02重量%至约15重量%,或0.02重量%至约10重量%,或约0.02重量%至约2重量%。在一些实施方案中,液体活化着色剂可为润湿指示组合物的约0.1重量%,或者可为润湿指示组合物的约.01重量%至约5重量%。持久性着色剂可以约0.01重量%至约20重量%、或其间的任意整数值的含量包括在润湿指示组合物中。
粘结试剂
粘结试剂可为将液体活化着色剂或着色剂的组合固定在基质内以阻止着色剂滤出到尿布芯或吸收制品的其它区域中的任何材料。为了优化颜色的对比度和鲜明度,非常优选的是在与流体如尿液接触之前和之后将着色剂“锁定”在基质内。粘结试剂不仅可阻止颜色滤出基质外,而且还可有助于将整个润湿指示组合物粘结至吸收制品的部件。例如,粘结剂可有助于在尿布底片的表面和润湿指示组合物之间形成强效结合。存在多种可适于在用于本发明的润湿指示组合物的热熔融粘结基质或溶剂型粘结基质中用作粘结试剂的材料。粘结基质为与着色剂相互作用的成分的组合,以形成被体液如尿液侵害时变色的安全且有效的润湿指示组合物。粘结基质由例如以下成分组成:粘结试剂、增粘剂、表面活性剂、稳定剂、抗氧化剂、紫外线稳定剂、增塑剂、松香、热熔融粘合剂组分如聚合物和蜡、润湿剂、溶剂及其它任选成分。
在一个实施方案中,可能的粘结试剂包括但不限于松香、松香酯、聚合松香、季戊四醇松香酯、改性的苯乙烯-丙烯酸聚合物以及它们的盐、苯乙烯化萜烯、聚萜烯树脂、萜烯酚醛塑料、以及它们的组合。另外合适的粘结剂为粘合剂、季铵化合物、季聚合物、橡胶、胶乳和胶乳乳液、蜡、表面活性剂、聚乙二醇类、聚乙烯醇类、以及它们的组合。
合适的松香混合物可为Arizona Chemical的Sylvatac RE98和Eastman的Poly-PaleTM的组合。Sylvatac RE-98为季戊四醇松香酯,并且Poly-Pale为聚合松香。两者均为经济型基质成分,两者均可促成干燥状态中的较深颜色,两者均有助于保持有效的内聚力和粘合力,并且它们的酸性性质有助于保护着色剂处于其干燥状态颜色。除了为合适的粘结试剂之外,松香酯、聚合松香和季戊四醇松香酯还可为用于这些制剂中的一些其它成分的有效增溶剂。此外,虽然不希望受理论的限制并且如所指出的,据信一些松香酯、聚合松香和季戊四醇松香酯的酸性有助于特定染料诸如但不限于pH指示剂的稳定性。例如,这些松香中的一些包含酸性羧酸根基团,所述基团有助于将着色剂如溴甲酚绿(游离酸)保持在其酸性黄色状态中。当使用游离酸形式的溴甲酚绿时,这种酸性黄色状态为产品被使用之前润湿指示标记组合物的干燥状态的优选颜色。
在一些实施方案中,可为优选的是润湿指示标记组合物的初始干燥状态完全是白色的,没有任何着色迹象。这可通过使用可合成为白色的合成成分来实现。这与最常见来源于树木的天然材料松香和聚合松香的使用相反。这些天然松香倾向于在干燥状态中时颜色更黄而不是白色。但是,在某些情况下,加入白色遮光剂如二氧化钛或硅酸钠铝可帮助隐藏来自天然材料的使用的黄色着色。一般来讲,润湿指示组合物可基本上不含遮光剂,或者遮光剂可为按润湿指示组合物的重量计约0重量%至0.5重量%。润湿指示组合物还可基本上不含水致变色的离子化合物。
粘结材料可在着色剂处于其初始颜色状态时固定所述着色剂。粘结材料在着色剂处于其初始颜色状态时如何固定所述着色剂取决于粘结材料和着色剂两者是什么物质。例如,第一粘结材料可通过选自以下的一种或多种力起作用:粘附力、氢键合、离子键合、极性共价键合、范得瓦尔斯(van der Waals)力、偶极-偶极力、伦敦分散力以及它们的组合。
粘结试剂可按有效地将着色剂固定并稳定在其第一状态中的如下含量用于组合物:按所述组合物的重量计,包括约1%至约90%、约10%至约75%、以及约20%至约65%。在一些实施方案中,粘结基质可为润湿指示组合物的约25重量%至约75重量%。在一些实施方案中,粘结基质可为约25重量%、30重量%、35重量%、40重量%、45重量%、或50重量%至约99重量%、95重量%、90重量%、85重量%、80重量%、75重量%、70重量%、65重量%、60重量%、或55重量%、或它们的任意组合。
粘结基质可包含第一粘结试剂和第二粘结试剂。第二粘结试剂可为如下的任何材料,所述材料可在着色剂处于其最终颜色状态时固定所述着色剂。这种固定帮助将着色剂粘结在润湿指示标记组合物内,以防止所述着色剂滤出至尿布的其它区域诸如尿布芯。应当指出的是,类似于第一粘结试剂,第二粘结试剂可不仅起到阻止着色剂滤出润湿指示标记组合物外的作用,而且第二粘结试剂还可有助于将整个润湿指示标记组合物结合至吸收制品内感兴趣的材料。例如,第二粘结试剂可有助于将润湿指示标记组合物结合至尿布的底片。存在各种材料可适于用作本发明的润湿指示组合物的附加粘结试剂。
在一个实施方案中,粘结试剂可选自但不限于授予Klofta的USPN6,904,865中所公开的第二粘结试剂。
在本发明的一个任选的实施方案中,粘结试剂选自季铵盐化合物、阳离子粘土、聚丙烯酸聚合物、有机酸、以及它们的组合。适宜的季铵化合物的示例包括但不限于二甲基(2-乙基己基氢化牛油烷基)甲基硫酸铵、椰烷基甲基[乙氧基化(15)]氯化铵、十二烷基三甲基氯化铵、十六烷基三甲基甲基硫酸铵、十八烷基三甲基氯化铵、二椰烷基二甲基氯化铵、二(氢化牛油烷基)二甲基氯化铵、以及二硬脂基二甲基氯化铵。
应当指出的是,与季化合物或具有一种或多种阳离子基团的任何粘结试剂相关联的抗衡阴离子具体地不限于氯离子。也可利用其它阴离子,并且非限制性示例包括甲基硫酸根和亚硝酸根。类似地,任何合适的抗衡阳离子诸如但不限于钠、钾、钙、镁、锌、质子、铵、取代的铵等均可与具有一种或多种阴离子基团的粘结试剂相关联。阳离子聚合物如聚氮丙啶也可阻止阴离子着色剂的滤出。聚氮丙啶(PEI)的示例为来自BASF的PEI的LupasolTM系列。
第二粘结材料可在着色剂处于其最终颜色状态时固定所述着色剂。第二粘结材料在着色剂处于其最终颜色状态时固定着色剂的方式取决于第二粘结材料和着色剂两者的化学组成。例如,如果着色剂的最终颜色状态是阴离子长链分子的状态并且第二粘结材料为阳离子分子,那么所形成的键可为例如离子键、共价键等、或相关键合力的组合。另一个示例,如果着色剂的最终颜色状态是阳离子分子的状态并且第二粘结材料为阴离子长链分子,那么所形成的键可为例如离子键、共价键等、或相关键合力的组合。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,当着色剂处于其最终颜色状态时,第二粘结试剂通过选自共价键合、离子键合、范德瓦尔斯键合、以及它们的组合中的一种或多种来固定着色剂。
不受理论的束缚,据信当着色剂在其最终颜色状态中为阴离子并且第二粘结试剂为阳离子,或着色剂在其最终颜色状态中为阳离子并且第二粘结试剂为阴离子时,第二粘结试剂与着色剂形成离子键合的凝聚层。例如,当与着色剂的最终颜色状态相关联的最终状态为尿液的pH时,使着色剂与尿液接触将会使着色剂变成其最终颜色状态即阴离子,并且这与作为阳离子的第二粘结试剂形成离子键。凝聚层的形成归因于着色剂和第二粘结试剂的相反电荷之间的强烈的电荷相互作用。在着色剂和第二粘结试剂之间形成的凝聚层中和这两种物质中的电荷并且显著地减小它们在极性溶剂诸如水或尿液中的溶解度,同时由于该电荷中和作用和凝聚层的更亲脂的性质,凝聚层在基质中的溶解度保持高水平。这两种效应均显著地抑制着色剂从基质中滤出。凝聚层的增大的亲脂性导致凝聚层和基质组分之间的分子间键合力增大。这些分子间力可进一步限制着色剂扩散和移动到流体环境诸如水或尿液中。
在本发明的某些任选的实施方案中,使用阳离子季铵化合物、季聚合物、和它们的组合作为第二粘结试剂也可起到加深或增强某些着色剂的颜色变化的作用,尤其是属于磺酞类的pH指示剂的那些着色剂。不受理论的束缚,据信这种加深是由于以下几个可能因素:1)季铵原材料内的碱性杂质,2)凝聚层的形成所引起的吸收偏移和吸收系数的增加和/或3)处于其最终颜色状态的着色剂的形成的增加。
第二粘结试剂可按如下含量用于组合物,所述含量有效地将着色剂固定在其第二状态,按所述组合物的重量计,包括约0.5%至约20%、约0.5%至约10%、以及约0.1%至约5%。
在一些实施方案中,粘结基质为溶剂基粘结基质,其中可能的粘结试剂包括但不限于基于丙烯酸的溶剂、基于醇的溶剂、水性溶剂、有机溶剂、以及它们的组合。示例可包括丙烯酸酯/丙烯酸乙基己酯共聚物;丙烯酸钠/丙烯酰二甲基牛磺酸钠共聚物;丙烯酸酯/丙烯酸辛酯共聚物;聚丙烯酸铵。有机溶剂的示例可包括例如醇、酮、酯、醚、酰胺和/或内酯,其中优选醇。有机溶剂可选自乙醇、丙醇、丁醇、丙酮、四氢呋喃、苯、甲苯和乙腈。极性溶剂是优选的。甲醇是优选的。其它合适的粘结试剂可包括丙烯酸酯/丙烯酰胺共聚物以及乙烯基吡咯烷酮和二甲氨基丙基甲基丙烯酰胺的共聚物等。粘结剂可被改性或掺有已经商品化的清漆材料或其它封装材料。
水溶性树脂也可为合适的,因为它们可充当粘结剂并且使着色剂附着到基底。示例包括聚酰胺、纤维素衍生物、丙烯酸类聚合物或多元醇,例如选自聚乙烯吡咯烷酮、聚乙烯醇、羧甲基纤维素、聚(2-乙基-2-噁唑啉)、基于丙烯酸的聚合物(均聚物和共聚物)、基于甲基丙烯酸的聚合物(均聚物和共聚物)、和基于丙烯酰胺的聚合物(均聚物和共聚物)以及它们的任意组合的水溶性树脂。一些有机可溶性树脂粘结剂可包括基于丙烯酸、醇酸树脂、酰胺、环氧树脂、硝化纤维、酚醛树脂、聚酯、聚氨酯和乙烯基单体、低聚物和聚合物的那些。
其它合适的作为用于本发明的颜色变化组合物的粘结试剂的油墨基体材料可以为清漆基体,诸如基于硝化纤维素化合物的清漆、基于乙基纤维素的清漆、基于聚氨酯的粘结体系或基于酚醛改性的共溶剂型聚酰胺树脂的清漆。据信油墨基体材料可有助于颜色变化组合物的稳定性。据信,油墨基体材料可改善颜色变化组合物对基底的粘附。
一般来讲,按液体活化制剂的重量计,溶剂型粘结基质可为约5%至约75%。
热熔融粘合剂

基于中性嵌段共聚物的表面活性剂包括FLURONIC系列嵌段共聚物,诸如购自BASFCorporation的PLURONIC P84或FLURON IC P85表面活性剂。超润湿表面活性剂如含氟表面活性剂的Dupont的CapstoneTM系列,以及Siltech的SilsurfTMA008硅氧烷超润湿剂在较低浓度下也可以是合适的。
其它合适的基于中性嵌段共聚物的表面活性剂包括壬基酚乙氧基化物、直链烷基醇乙氧基化物、环氧乙烷-环氧丙烷嵌段共聚物、聚氧丙烯-聚氧乙烯嵌段共聚物、亚烷基氧嵌段共聚物、亚烷基氧嵌段共聚物和丙二醇-乙二醇嵌段共聚物。
当着色剂为pH指示剂并且当吸收制品可能在高温高湿条件下储存时,可能期望包括稳定剂。包括稳定剂对于如下的新型尿布设计来讲也是尤其重要的,其中所存在的材料和/或化学物质有可能会过早地活化油墨制剂内的着色剂的颜色变化。
在本发明的一个实施方案中,所述稳定剂为酸性稳定剂。在本发明的另一个实施方案中,所述稳定剂为碱性稳定剂。不受理论的束缚,据信包括稳定剂可通过如下方式起到稳定着色剂的作用以防止因暴露于潮湿环境和/或尿布的某些组件而过早变化:保持稳定的pH,诸如在着色剂周围用酸性稳定剂保持低pH环境,甚至当所述体系暴露于高湿度和/或尿布的某些组件时也是如此。这种对稳定的pH环境的维持将着色剂(尤其是当着色剂为pH指示剂时)保持在其初始干燥颜色状态。通过捕获可过早活化润湿指示标记组合物的游离水,干燥剂也可使组合物稳定。合适的干燥剂的示例包括硅胶、膨润土、活性氧化铝、硫酸钙、硫酸铜(II)、以及硫酸镁。
功能正常的润湿指示标记的关键特性中的一种是,能够在多种储存和包装条件下保持其干燥状态颜色,同时仍然能够在被尿液接触之后的合理时间量内经历明显的颜色变化。着色剂对于尿布中可能存在的各种化学物质和材料应当也保持稳定。虽然作为基质的一部分的松香中所存在的酸性部分可有助于保存干燥状态颜色,但已发现附加稳定剂成分对于如下的某些新型尿布设计来讲是必要的,其中尿布内的高pH组分可能造成着色剂的不可取且过早的颜色变化活化。为了将着色剂保持在其酸性干燥状态颜色,应加入合适强度的酸。合适的强度由着色剂和其变色的pH范围来限定。着色剂的pKa值在评估所选稳定剂的特性时尤其重要。
对于pH指示剂着色剂包括在3.8和5.4的pH之间变色的溴甲酚绿的磺酞类(参见Floyd J.Green的“The Sigma-Aldrich Handbook of Stains,Dyes and Indicators”,Aldrich Chemical Co.,Milwaukee,WI),稳定剂应贡献合适强度的酸性部分,以在基质内将溴甲酚绿保持在其黄色状态。虽然很多强酸如硫酸和盐酸均具有适当低的pH以实现这种情况,但它们在这些无水基质中的溶解度较低。此外,它们的高酸性还可能在化学上分解润湿组合物和尿布中所存在的某些组分的结构。如所指出的,存在于基质成分如松香或聚合松香中的羧酸部分也可有助于将着色剂保持在其酸性颜色状态,但是羧酸通常过弱而在溴甲酚绿暴露于高湿度和/或新型尿布设计的高pH组分时不能保持所述溴甲酚绿的干燥黄色状态。为了增加羧酸的强度,可在分子的羧酸部分和另一个部分之间加入吸电子基团。虽然脂肪酸如硬脂酸可有助于保存干燥状态颜色,但可通过如下方式使其变得更有效:在羧酸基团和烷基链之间插入聚氧乙烯基团而使其成为更强的酸。这些类型的分子称作醚羧酸盐,并且这些酸性分子可有效地保持pH指示剂着色剂如溴甲酚绿的干燥状态的酸形式。此外,这些醚羧酸盐中所存在的烷基基团还增加它们在润湿指示标记基质中的溶解度。最后,醚羧酸盐的表面活性可有助于增加用于活化润湿指示标记组合物在其被尿液接触之后的颜色变化的动力学特性。
其它合适的稳定剂为单烷基磷酸游离酸和二烷基磷酸游离酸类型的那些。所述磷酸部分为一种比羧酸基团强的酸,并且因此可更有效地维持将pH指示剂着色剂保持在其干燥酸性状态所需的低pH环境。已发现这些烷基磷酸游离酸特别有效地保存溴甲酚绿着色剂的干燥状态颜色,以防止由高湿度引起的过早活化或使新型尿布设计中所存在的材料和/或化学物质不稳定。特别有效的烷基磷酸游离酸为硬脂基磷酸游离酸、鲸蜡基磷酸游离酸、和鲸蜡硬脂基磷酸游离酸。因此,磷酸盐为一种用以将pH指示剂着色剂保持在其酸性干燥状态形式的适当强度的酸,并且亲脂的烷基部分有助于增加其在润湿指示标记组合物内的溶解度。此外,烷基磷酸游离酸的表面活性剂性质还可有助于在润湿指示标记组合物被尿液接触之后加速颜色变化的动力学特性。
特别有效地稳定润湿指示标记配方以免受高湿度的影响和/或使尿布内的组分不稳定的其它酸性稳定剂包括但不限于:有机酸,诸如但不限于脂肪酸诸如硬脂酸、棕榈酸、较低分子量的酸诸如柠檬酸、苹果酸、马来酸、乳酸、乙醇酸、葡萄糖酸、富马酸、草酸、己二酸、抗坏血酸、和水杨酸;酸酯,诸如柠檬酸酯,例如单硬脂基柠檬酸酯和单十六烷基柠檬酸酯、乙醇酸酯、乳酸酯;含磷有机酸,诸如单硬脂基磷酸盐和单十六烷基磷酸盐;醚羧酸类;N-酰基肌氨酸;N-酰基谷氨酸;N-酰基乙二胺三乙酸;烷烃磺酸;α-烯烃磺酸;α-磺酸脂肪酸甲酯;硫酸酯;无机酸,诸如磷酸;以及它们的组合。适宜的碱性稳定剂的示例包括但不限于:单乙醇胺;二乙醇胺;三乙醇胺;二亚丙基三胺;二异丙基胺;有机二胺类,诸如但不限于1,3-双(甲基氨基)-环己烷、1,3-戊二胺;无机碱,诸如但不限于氢氧化钠、氢氧化镁、以及它们的组合。
稳定剂(当存在时)通常以如下含量用于组合物,所述含量有效地稳定着色剂,按所述组合物的重量计,为约0.001%至约30%、约0.1%至约15%、以及约1%至约10%。
本发明可包括结构助剂,诸如HLB(亲水性亲脂性平衡)调节剂、粘度调节剂、硬化剂、润湿剂、抗氧化剂、防滤出助剂、和/或着色剂增溶剂。合适的结构助剂可包括聚合物增稠剂诸如在橡胶分子两端具有聚苯乙烯嵌段的嵌段共聚物、乙烯和乙酸乙烯酯(EVA)的上述共聚物、氢化蓖麻油、聚合物、脂肪酸的金属盐、二氧化硅和/或衍生的二氧化硅、有机粘土诸如改性和未改性的锂蒙脱石和膨润土,改性粘土诸如改性的合成锂皂石粘土、二亚苄基山梨醇(dibenylidene sorbitol)、烷基半乳甘露聚糖、氢氧化铝镁硬脂酸酯/油共混物和月桂酰谷氨酸二丁酰胺。硬化剂可包括前述的蜡、C14-22脂肪醇、C14-22脂肪酸、C23-60羧酸、氢化植物油、聚合物、脱水山梨糖醇酯和其它高分子量酯。
润湿剂可为表面活性剂或表面活性剂的混合物。表面活性剂可为非离子表面活性剂或离子表面活性剂。离子表面活性剂可以为带正电的或带负电的或者在此类分子结构被称为两性结构的情况下时,具有阳离子电荷和阴离子电荷两者。非离子表面活性剂的示例包括烷基聚环氧乙烷诸如聚环氧乙烷和聚环氧丙烷(商业上称为泊洛沙姆(Poloxamer)或泊洛沙胺(Poloxamine))的共聚物、烷基聚葡糖苷诸如辛基葡糖苷和癸基麦芽糖苷、脂肪醇诸如鲸蜡醇、油醇、椰油酰胺MEA和椰油酰胺DEA。离子表面活性剂的示例包括阴离子(例如,基于硫酸根、磺酸根或碳酸根阴离子)表面活性剂诸如s(SDS)、十二烷基硫酸铵以及其它烷基硫酸盐、月桂基聚氧乙烯醚硫酸钠(也被称为月桂基醚硫酸钠(SLES))、烷基苯磺酸根盐、皂或脂肪酸盐;以及阳离子(例如基于季铵的阳离子)表面活性剂诸如也称为十六烷基三甲基溴化铵的鲸蜡基三甲基溴化铵(CTAB)以及其它烷基三甲基铵盐、鲸蜡基氯化吡啶鎓(CPC)、多乙氧基化牛脂胺(POEA)、苯扎氯铵(BAC)、苄索氯铵(BZT);或两性离子(两性)表面活性剂诸如十二烷基甜菜碱、十二烷基二甲胺氧化物、椰油酰氨基丙基甜菜碱、可可两性甘氨酸盐。另选地,润湿剂还可为亲水性分子。亲水性分子可为小分子诸如蔗糖、葡萄糖和甘油。亲水性分子还可为聚合物诸如聚乙二醇及其共聚物。
基底和吸收制品
在本发明的一个实施方案中,本发明的润湿指示组合物可位于基底上和/或位于基底中。当存在于基底上时,润湿指示标记制剂通常将放置在基底上和/或放置在基底中,其中基底将被液体诸如水、尿液、经液、血液等接触。基底可包括但不限于结构部件,诸如织造织物、非织造织物、膜、海绵、以及它们的组合。基底可包括合成材料和/或天然材料。在本发明的一个实施方案中,所述任选基底就其本身而言可为一种制品,诸如连续的非织造织物。在本发明的另一个实施方案中,润湿指示组合物可施加或换句话讲附连到其上的基底包括吸收制品的结构组件中的任何一种或它们的组合,所述组件包括但不限于底片、顶片、扣件、吸收材料等,或可为添加或施加到所述产品上的独立元件。在本发明的一个任选实施方案中,将润湿指示组合物施加到整个吸收制品上。在一些实施方案中,润湿指示组合物为单层。这种单层可施加到基底或结构部件上。在一些实施方案中,单层制剂可设置在底片和吸收芯之间,在其它实施方案中,设置在顶片和吸收芯之间。
指示材料可涂覆在所述基底的表面上,作为a)仅单色色彩设计、双色或多色,b)处于多种形状和尺寸,c)图案或字母数字字符的图形和单词、或它们的组合。颜色转变可为从a)着色至未着色,b)未着色至着色,c)着色至不同颜色,或d)a)和b)以及c)的组合。
以下讨论是为了便于表述,但不旨在限制本文所用的基底的类型。

实施例

实施例1

在实施例2中,液体活化的溴酚蓝在干燥状态的润湿指示标记组合物内呈黄色,原因是包含将溴酚蓝酸化成其黄色酸状态的乙烯-丙烯酸。根据润湿指示标记组合物的pH和最终接触润湿指示标记组合物的流体,焰红染料B可用作液体活化着色剂或持久性着色剂。在该实施例2中,焰红染料B用作持久性着色剂,原因是乙烯-丙烯酸稳定剂不为用于形成焰红染料B的无色游离酸的强酸。相反,在干燥状态的润湿指示标记内形成了焰红染料B的粉紫色共轭碱并且该种来自焰红染料B的粉紫色和来自溴酚蓝(游离酸)的黄色的组合形成橙色色调。在被体液如尿液润湿时,当尿液pH的上升导致形成溴酚蓝的蓝色共轭碱时,来自于持久性着色剂焰红染料B的粉紫色保持不变。在被体液如尿液润湿后,该种来自溴酚蓝的蓝色和来自焰红染料B的粉紫色的组合给出了最终的紫色。
就实施例#2而言,将乙烯-乙酸乙烯酯和乙烯-丙烯酸和Performathox450和Perfomathox 480以及Irganox 1010混合并加热至120℃直至均匀。在120℃下保持混合和加热时,添加溴酚蓝(游离酸)和焰红染料B以及异壬酸异壬酯直至在120℃下全部溶解。保持加热以小心且安全地用拉伸丝制备膜或者使得混合物在室温下固化以供将来使用。

Claims (15)
1.一种润湿指示组合物,所述润湿指示组合物包含:(A)液体活化着色剂;(B)持久性着色剂;和(C)粘结基质。
2.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,其中所述持久性着色剂选自:亚甲蓝、D&C黄11号、D&C红17号、D&C红21号、D&C红27号(酸性焰红染料B)、D&C红28号(焰红染料B)、D&C紫2号、D&C绿6号、D&C橙5号、颜料红146、颜料红122、颜料橙16、FD&C蓝1号、FD&C蓝2号、FD&C绿3号、FD&C红3号、FD&C红40号、FD&C黄5号、FD&C黄6号、喹啉黄、淡红、丽春红4R、专利蓝V、绿S、焦糖着色剂、叶绿酸、接骨木汁、番茄红素、胭脂红、辣椒红、姜黄、胭脂树橙、金属酞菁类着色剂、红甜菜提取物、β-胡萝卜素、以及它们的组合。
3.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,所述润湿指示组合物还包含悬浮于所述组合物中的持久性着色剂颜料。
4.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,其中所述持久性着色剂为pH指示剂着色剂。
5.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,其中所述持久性着色剂是水溶性的。
6.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,其中所述持久性着色剂是油溶性的。
7.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,其中所述粘结基质为热熔融粘结基质。
8.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,其中所述粘结基质为溶剂型粘结基质。
9.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,所述润湿指示组合物还包含选自稳定剂、表面活性剂和结构助剂的一种或多种。
10.根据权利要求12所述的润湿指示组合物,其中所述稳定剂选自单硬脂基磷酸酯、单鲸蜡基磷酸酯、柠檬酸酯、醇乙氧基羧酸酯、乙醇酸酯、乳酸酯、脂肪酸、醚羧酸、脂肪酸甲基酯、硫酸酯、果酸如柠檬酸和苹果酸、无机酸如硫酸、单乙醇胺、二乙醇胺、三乙醇胺、二丙烯基三胺、二异丙胺、1,3-双(甲胺)-环己烷、1,3-戊二胺、氢氧化钠、氢氧化镁、以及它们的组合。
11.一种吸收制品,所述吸收制品包含根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,其中所述润湿指示组合物附连到所述吸收制品的结构部件。
12.一种吸收制品,所述吸收制品包含根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,其中所述制品包括底片、顶片、设置在所述底片和所述顶片之间的吸收芯,其中所述润湿指示组合物为单层且设置在所述底片和所述吸收芯之间。
13.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,所述润湿指示组合物包含选自以下的液体活化着色剂:孔雀石绿、孔雀石绿盐酸盐、亮绿、结晶紫、结晶紫内酯、食用樱桃红B、甲基紫2B、甲基紫10B、喹哪啶红、间甲酚紫、百里酚蓝、二甲酚蓝、碱性品红、4-对氨基苯酚(偶氮)苯磺酸-钠盐、石蕊、甲酚红、甲基黄、2,4-二硝基酚、橙黄IV、苯并红紫4B、溴酚蓝、刚果红、甲基橙、溴氯酚蓝、乙基橙、荧光WS、溴甲酚绿、柯衣定、甲基红、茜素红S、胭脂虫红、姜黄素、七叶苷、花色素苷、洋苏木、氯酚红、溴甲酚紫(游离酸和共轭盐的碱形式两者)、茜草色素、硝嗪黄、溴百里酚蓝、亮黄、中性红、茜素黄R、玫红酸、酚红、3-硝基苯酚、橙黄II、酚酞、百里酚蓝、环香草酮(2,6-divanillyldenecyclohexanone)、间甲酚紫、4-硝基苯酚、邻甲酚酞、尼罗蓝A、百里酚酞、苯胺蓝、铬橙GS、茜素黄GG、媒介橙、金莲橙O、甲基蓝、茜素、靛蓝磺酸钠、酸性品红、噻唑黄G、靛蓝胭脂红、D&C红27号(酸性焰红染料B)、D&C红28号(焰红染料B)、溴代邻苯三酚红、溴二甲苯酚蓝、亚甲蓝、酸性茜素紫N、碱性蓝47、二(2,4-二硝基苯)醋酸乙酯、金属滴定指示剂、邻苯三酚红、纯四氧嘧啶四水合物(alloxan tetrahydratepurum)、以及它们的任意组合。
14.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,所述润湿指示组合物包含两种或更多种液体活化着色剂。
15.根据权利要求1所述的润湿指示组合物,所述润湿指示组合物还包含至少一种附加持久性着色剂。
