Abstract
The invention provides a video-on-demand digital signage system. The video-on-demand digital signage system comprises a server, a base station, a plurality of mini-type hosts, a plurality of display screens corresponding to the plurality of mini-type hosts and a plurality of handheld terminals, wherein the server is used for storing a plurality of pre-set videos and sending video information selected by the handheld terminals to the base station; the base station is used for sending the video information transmitted by the server to the mini-type hosts, and feeding implementation states of the mini-type hosts back to the server; the mini-type hosts are used for calling videos on a storage module through a video playing module to play the videos, and transmitting the videos to the display screens corresponding to the mini-type hosts through data transmission interfaces; the display screens are used for displaying the videos sent by the mini-type hosts; the handheld terminals are used for selecting the videos. By utilizing handheld terminal equipment, the videos are remotely played in real time, and the display screens of the videos can be selected; a function of playing specific content on the specific display screen is realized.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a video-on-demand system, in particular to a system for realizing playing of different electronic watching boards through mobile phone on-demand.
Technical Field
In public places such as factories, companies, exhibition halls, and shopping malls, a plurality of electronic signboards are often arranged, and each electronic signboard displays different contents. The displayed content can be changed temporarily according to the actual requirement. For example, when a person visits, a certain electronic billboard or some electronic billboard is required to play specific video content so as to introduce the explanation to the guest one by one. However, since the visiting time of the guest is random, the video playing content of the electronic billboard cannot be set in advance, and an apparatus is needed to flexibly change the video content according to the visiting progress.
In view of the above-mentioned drawbacks, the present designer actively makes research and innovation to create a new video-on-demand electronic billboard system, which has more industrial application value.

the server stores a plurality of preset videos, receives control instructions including content selection, content playing and content pause sent by the handheld terminal, sends video information selected by the handheld terminal to the base station and transmits the videos to the base station;
the base station is connected with the server through a network, sends video information transmitted by the server to one or more mini hosts and feeds back implementation states of the mini hosts to the server;
the mini host is provided with a network transmission module, a storage module and a video playing module, receives video information sent by the base station, stores the video information on the storage module, calls the video on the storage module through the video playing module to play the video, and transmits the video to a display screen corresponding to the mini host through a data transmission interface;
the display screen is provided with a transmission interface corresponding to the mini host and used for displaying the video sent by the mini host;
the handheld terminal is provided with a primary play list corresponding to the video set in the server and a secondary play list responding to the primary play list and displaying a plurality of mini host numbers.
Further, the handheld terminal is connected with the server through 4G or Wi-Fi.
Further, the transmission interface is any one of HDMI and DP.
By the scheme, the invention at least has the following advantages:
the invention realizes the remote real-time video playing by utilizing the handheld terminal equipment, can select the video display screen and realizes the function of playing the specific content facing the specific display screen.

Referring to fig. 1 and 2, a vod electronic billboard system according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention includes: the system comprises a server, a base station, a plurality of mini hosts, a plurality of display screens corresponding to the mini hosts and a plurality of handheld terminals; wherein,
the server stores a plurality of preset videos, receives control instructions including content selection, content playing and content pause sent by the handheld terminal, sends video information selected by the handheld terminal to the base station and transmits the videos to the base station;
the base station is connected with the server through a network, sends video information transmitted by the server to one or more mini hosts and feeds back implementation states of the mini hosts to the server;
the mini host is provided with a network transmission module, a storage module and a video playing module, receives video information sent by the base station, stores the video information on the storage module, calls the video on the storage module through the video playing module to play the video, and transmits the video to a display screen corresponding to the mini host through a data transmission interface;
the display screen is provided with a transmission interface corresponding to the mini host and used for displaying the video sent by the mini host;
the handheld terminal is provided with a primary play list corresponding to the video set in the server and a secondary play list responding to the primary play list and displaying a plurality of mini host numbers.

The working principle of the invention is as follows:
the method comprises the steps that a video needing to be played and a display screen needing to display the video are selected through a menu on the handheld terminal device, the handheld terminal device sends signals to a server through a wireless network, the server invokes the video selected by the handheld terminal device, the video is sent to a mini host corresponding to the selected handheld terminal through a wireless base station, and the mini host plays the selected video and displays the video on the corresponding display screen. The handheld terminal equipment is also provided with instructions such as pause and the like, so that the video pause can be conveniently explained towards the client.

the mini host is provided with a network transmission module, a storage module and a video playing module, receives video information sent by the base station, stores the video information on the storage module, calls the video on the storage module through the video playing module to play the video, and transmits the video to a display screen corresponding to the mini host through a data transmission interface;
the display screen is provided with a transmission interface corresponding to the mini host and used for displaying the video sent by the mini host;
the handheld terminal is provided with a primary play list corresponding to the video set in the server and a secondary play list responding to the primary play list and displaying a plurality of mini host numbers.
