Detailed Description
Reference will now be made in detail to the exemplary embodiments, examples of which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings. When the following description refers to the accompanying drawings, like numbers in different drawings represent the same or similar elements unless otherwise indicated. The embodiments described in the following exemplary embodiments do not represent all embodiments consistent with the present invention. Rather, they are merely examples of apparatus and methods consistent with certain aspects of the invention, as detailed in the appended claims.
FIG. 1 is a flow chart illustrating a method of collar monitoring according to an exemplary embodiment. The method may be used with a collar that is worn on the neck of an animal.
Referring to fig. 1, the method includes:
in step S101, the collar acquires data from the on-collar sensing device.
One or more sensing devices may be included on the collar, such as a position sensor, sound sensor, etc. The present embodiment is not limited as to the type of sensing device, and one skilled in the art can determine which sensing devices to integrate into the collar based on the behavior or status that needs to be monitored.
In step S102, the collar determines from the data whether the animal has produced a specified behavior or is in a specified state.
For example, the designated behavior may include swallowing behavior or roaring behavior, and the designated condition may include a state of loss or a state of non-health, and the present embodiment is not limited thereto.
In step S103, if the animal produces the specified behavior or is in the specified state, the collar sends a warning message to the control terminal of the collar.
As an example, see fig. 2, in which the animal is a dog 201, the neck of the dog 201 is provided with a collar 202, and the collar 202 may wirelessly send a warning message to a control terminal 203 of the collar (e.g., a mobile phone of an owner).
Taking the roar behavior as an example, when the owner is far away from the watchdog or the owner is a disabled person with hearing impairment, the roar of the watchdog may not be heard, and it may not be known whether a stranger intrudes. And by means of the sound sensor on the collar, the sound of the watchdog can be acquired, when the sound is higher than a threshold value, the sound of the watchdog can be determined to be roar, namely, roar behavior is generated, and the collar can send warning information to a mobile phone of an owner to inform the owner of the roar behavior.
In this or some other embodiment of the invention, the sensing means may comprise collar length change sensing means. Referring to fig. 3, determining whether the animal has produced a specified behavior or is in a specified state based on the data may include:
in step S301, the collar determines whether the collar is stretched or not according to the data of the collar length variation sensing device.
In step S302, if telescoping occurs, it is determined that the animal produces swallowing behavior.
Taking a watchdog as an example, in order to prevent the watchdog from eating by mistake or being induced by eating by people, the swallowing behavior of the watchdog can be monitored. Because the neck of dog can change when swallowing, so the neck ring can use adjustable structure, but including one section length flexible part, this length telescopic part belongs to neck ring length change induction system promptly, can be furnished with the gear in the device, and neck ring length is flexible to drive the gear and rotates, and it is flexible just can to infer out the collar and whether appear according to the rotation data of gear like this in turn, and then judges the watchdog and has produced the swallowing action.
In this or some other embodiment of the invention, the sensing means may comprise an acoustic sensor. Referring to fig. 4, determining whether the animal has produced a specified behavior or is in a specified state based on the data may include:
in step S401, the collar determines whether the animal' S cry exceeds a threshold based on the data from the acoustic sensor.
In step S402, if the threshold is exceeded, it is determined that the animal produces roar behavior.
Taking a watchdog as an example, the sound sensor on the collar may collect the cry of the watchdog, and when the cry is higher than a threshold value, for example, a stranger enters, it may be determined that the cry of the watchdog is roar, that is, roar behavior is generated.
In this embodiment or some other embodiment of the invention, the sensing device may include a vital signs sensor. Referring to fig. 5, determining whether the animal has produced a specified behavior or is in a specified state based on the data may include:
in step S501, the collar determines whether the vital sign indicator of the animal is within a normal range according to the data of the vital sign sensor.
In step S502, if not within the normal range, the animal is determined to be in an unhealthy state.
For example, the sign sensor may specifically include a body temperature sensor or a pulse sensor, etc. to monitor relevant sign indicators of the animal, and if the sign indicators are abnormal, it may be inferred that the animal is sick or even has an accident.
In this or some other embodiment of the invention, the sensing means may comprise a position sensor. Referring to fig. 6, determining whether the animal has produced a specified behavior or is in a specified state based on the data may include:
in step S601, the collar determines whether the position of the animal is within a preset area according to the data of the positioning sensor.
In step S602, if it is not within the preset area, it is determined that the animal is in a lost state.
For example, the positioning sensor may be a GPS positioning device, the preset area may be set to an area with a home as an origin and a radius of 30 meters, and if it is determined that the watchdog has walked through the area according to the GPS data, the watchdog is in a lost state, and a warning message should be sent to the mobile phone of the owner immediately to remind the owner to retrieve the watchdog as soon as possible.
In addition, in this embodiment or some other embodiments of the present invention, the method may further include:
receiving and storing help-seeking information of an owner of the animal so that rescue workers obtain the help-seeking information through the collar after the animal is rescued, wherein the help-seeking information comprises at least one of the following information: the position information of the master, the vital sign information of the master and the identity information of the master.
For example, the collar can adopt a reinforced design, so that the collar has the capabilities of pressure resistance, water resistance and the like, and is not easy to damage, thereby storing some important information and playing the role of a black box.
Taking a dog as an example, the escape and survival ability of the dog is generally strong, when a disaster occurs, such as an earthquake suddenly, if an owner is trapped, the owner can send distress information to the collar of the dog through a mobile phone of the owner or a bracelet of the owner, so that a rescuer can know the condition of the owner of the dog through the collar after the dog is escaped, and thus the dog can get back to rescue.
As an example, as shown in fig. 7, an owner sends distress information to a collar 702 of a dog through a bracelet 701, and after the dog is rescued, a rescuer can transmit the distress information in the collar to a computer 703 for viewing, so as to know the condition of the owner of the dog.
Similarly, in this embodiment or some other embodiments of the present invention, the method may further include:
receiving and storing alarm information of an owner of the animal;
and broadcasting the alarm information to the outside.
As an example, as shown in fig. 8, when the owner is forced by a criminal and cannot give an alarm through a telephone, the alarm information may be sent to the collar 802 of the dog through the bracelet 801, and after the dog runs out, the collar 802 broadcasts the alarm information to the outside, so that passers-by or policemen receive the alarm information, thereby achieving the purpose of giving an alarm.
In addition, referring to fig. 9, in this embodiment or some other embodiments of the present invention, the method may further include:
in step S901, a control command sent by the control terminal is received;
in step S902, an operation corresponding to the control instruction is executed.
For example, when the master finds that the watchdog has a roar behavior, a control instruction for enabling the collar to generate vibration can be sent to the collar through the mobile phone, so that the effect of soothing is achieved, and the watchdog is prevented from being irritated; for another example, when the owner finds that the watchdog swallows, control instructions for contracting the collar or generating a light electric shock can be immediately sent to the collar through the mobile phone to prevent the watchdog from swallowing, and the like.
Fig. 10 is a block diagram illustrating a collar monitoring device according to an example embodiment. The device can be used in a collar that is worn on the neck of an animal.
Referring to fig. 10, the apparatus may include:
