Abstract
The invention provides an MME pool updating method and system, an eMBMS gateway and an MME node, and belongs to the field of communication. Receiving a service area report message of a mobile management entity node by an enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway, wherein the service area report message comprises service area information managed by the mobile management entity node; and the enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway updates the mobile management entity pool according to the service area report message. Compared with the prior art, the enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway eMBMS GW intelligently senses the MME POOL function, the condition that the MME POOL function is improved by manually configuring the MME POOL list is avoided, the network maintenance cost can be reduced under the condition that the network changes, and the network management efficiency is improved.
Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of communication, in particular to an MME pool updating method and system, an eMBMS gateway and an MME node.
Background
An enhanced Multimedia Broadcast Multicast Service (eMBMS) technology is an enhanced Broadcast Multicast technology specified by The third Generation Partnership Project (3 GPP) R9 protocol, and is one of mobile domain efficient video bearer technologies. The method is an advanced mobile data transmission technology, and can enable an operator to significantly reduce the cost of providing large-bandwidth content such as video, audio and the like to a plurality of users at the same time on a Long Term Evolution (LTE) system network.
A Mobility Management Entity (MME) is a key control plane node in the EPC system, and is generally centrally disposed in deployment; once the MME device fails, the impact of the brought damage is often large, and the failure recovery time is long, which affects the user perception. For reliability protection of the MMEs, 3GPP proposes a concept of forming an MME POOL (MME POOL) by a plurality of MMEs, and schemes of load balancing, load reallocation, overload control, and the like among MMEs. An operator can plan and deploy MME Pool according to respective network characteristics, and then an efficient, robust and easily maintained EPC system is built.
An enhanced Multimedia broadcast Multicast Service Gateway (eMBMS GW) lacks Service Area information in information exchanged with an MME, cannot dynamically sense information network changes, and needs to manually configure an MME POOL list to realize an MME POOL function to improve network efficiency and reliability and optimize load balancing and overload control. Because the LTE network coverage is wide, the MME nodes bring pressure to the network maintenance, and the requirement of network dynamic change can not be met. The advantages of the MME POOL cannot be fully utilized.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides an MME POOL updating method, an eMBMS gateway and an MME node, and aims to solve the problems that the existing information network change cannot be dynamically sensed, the MME POOL function needs to be manually configured to improve the network efficiency and reliability and optimize load balancing and overload control.
In order to solve the above problem, the present invention provides a mobility management entity pool updating method, including:
receiving a service area report message of a mobile management entity node by an enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway, wherein the service area report message comprises service area information managed by the mobile management entity node;
and the enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway updates the mobile management entity pool according to the service region report message.
In an embodiment of the present invention, before the receiving, by the enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway, a service area report message of a mobility management entity node, the method further includes: and the enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway sends a service area reporting request message to the mobile management entity node.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the service area report message is a service message; the mode that the service area report message includes the service area information managed by the mobile management entity node includes:
carrying service area information managed by the mobile management entity node in an extension field carried by the service message;
or
And adding a field carrying the service area information managed by the mobile management entity node in the service message.

In order to solve the above problem, the present invention further provides an enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway, which includes a receiving module and an updating module:
the receiving module is used for receiving a service area reporting message of a mobile management entity node, wherein the service area reporting message comprises service area information managed by the mobile management entity node;
and the updating module is used for updating the mobile management entity pool according to the service area reporting message.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus further includes a request module, where the request module is configured to send a service area report request message to a mobility management entity node before an enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway receives a service area report message of the mobility management entity node.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the service area report message is a service message; the mode that the service area report message includes the service area information managed by the mobile management entity node includes:

The invention has the beneficial effects that:

Detailed Description
In order to make the objects, technical solutions and advantages of the embodiments of the present invention clearer, the technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, but not all, embodiments of the present invention. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Example one
As shown in fig. 1-1, the MME pool updating method of this embodiment includes the following steps:
step S101: the eMBMS gateway receives a service area reporting message of the MME node, wherein the service area reporting message comprises service area information managed by the MME node;
in this step, an MME Pool, i.e. an MME Pool, refers to an Area composed of one or more MMEs, and is a complete set of Service Area areas, and each eNodeB in the MME Pool is fully interconnected with the MME; different MME Pool can be mutually overlapped, and the eNB in the overlapping area can simultaneously establish S1 connection with some MME in two MME pools. The UE moves in the Service Area within the MME Pool without replacing the serving MME. As shown in fig. 1-2, there are two MME Pool, MME Pool1 and MME Pool2, where MME Pool1 includes MME1 and MME2, and the Service Area information managed by MME1 includes 4 Service areas, which are SA1 for Service Area1, SA2 for Service Area2, SA3 for Service Area3, and SA4 for Service Area 4. Similarly, MME2 also manages four regions SA1, SA2, SA3, and SA 4. MME Pool2 includes MME3 and MME4, and MME3 and MME4 manage Service Area information simultaneously in 4 Service areas, which are respectively SA5 for Service Area5, SA6 for Service Area6, SA8 for Service Area7 and SA7 for Service Area 8.
Step S102: and the eMBMS gateway updates the MME pool according to the service area reporting message.
In this step, the eMBMS gateway stores the relevant information, and automatically maintains an MME POOL list in match with the same MME.
Specifically, in step S102, before the eMBMS gateway receives the service area reporting message of the MME node, the method further includes: and the eMBMS gateway sends a service area reporting request message to the MME node. Specifically, the request message may be a GTP request message. Namely by: and after the eMBMS gateway sends the request, the MME node reports the service area of the MME node. Therefore, the eMBMS gateway can manage the MME node more actively, and unnecessary processing is reduced. Certainly, other manners may also be adopted, such as sending the request periodically according to preset time, or actively reporting periodically by the MME node.
In order to reduce unnecessary information types, preferably, the service area reports the message as a service message; the mode that the service area reporting message comprises the service area information managed by the MME node comprises the following steps: carrying service area information managed by the MME node in an extension field carried by the service message; or adding a field carrying the service area information managed by the MME node in the service message. It should be understood that, the service area information managed by the MME node is reported through a service packet existing in itself, if the service packet itself has an extension field, the service area information managed by the MME node is placed in the extension field, and if not, a field may be added in the service packet to carry the service area information managed by the MME node. Of course, other methods that may report the service area information managed by the MME node to the eMBMS gateway should be included. Specifically, the service packet includes interactive packets such as echo, mbms session start, mbms session update, and the like. For example, the MME and the Embms-GW may all carry a private extension field in the interactive information echo, mbms session start, and mbms session update messages, and the private extension carries Service Area information. The eMBMS gateway Embms-GW saves Service Area information for subsequent MME POOL related services. Or adding fields to carry Service Area information in the information echo, mbms session start, mbms session update message of MME and Embms-GW. The Embms-GW stores Service Area information for subsequent MME POOL related services.
Example two
As shown in fig. 2, the MME pool updating method of this embodiment includes the following steps:
step S201: the Embms-Gw sends a GTP request message to the MME to request the MME to report Service Area information;
step S202: after receiving the MBMS related Service message, the MME checks the field, and if the Embms-Gw requests the MME to report Service Area information, the MME reports the management Service Area information of the node; if the function is not supported, the function is automatically ignored;
step S203: the Embms-Gw receives a GTP message sent by the MME, if the GTP message carries Service Area information, the related information is stored, and an MME POOL list is automatically maintained by matching the same MME;
step S204: and using the generated data to realize the related business process of the MME POOL.

The present embodiment provides an eMBMS gateway 300, as shown in fig. 3, including a receiving module 301 and an updating module 302:
the receiving module 301 is configured to receive a service area reporting message of an MME node, where the service area reporting message includes service area information managed by the MME node;
the updating module 302 is configured to update the MME pool according to the service area reporting message.
As shown in fig. 4, the eMBMS gateway 300 further includes a requesting module 303, where the requesting module is configured to send a service area reporting request message to the MME node before the eMBMS gateway receives the service area reporting message of the MME node.
Specifically, the service area reports a message as a service message; the mode that the service area reporting message comprises the service area information managed by the MME node comprises the following steps: carrying service area information managed by the MME node in an extension field carried by the service message; or adding a field carrying the service area information managed by the MME node in the service message.
The present embodiment further provides an MME node 500, as shown in fig. 5, including a sending module 501: the sending module 501 is configured to send a service area reporting message to the eMBMS gateway, so that the eMBMS gateway updates the MME pool according to the service area reporting message, where the service area reporting message includes service area information managed by an MME node.
The present embodiment further provides an MME pool update system, as shown in fig. 6, including an MME node 500 and an eMBMS gateway 300:
the MME node 500 is configured to send a service area reporting message to the eMBMS gateway 300, where the service area reporting message includes service area information managed by the MME node 500;
the eMBMS gateway 300 is configured to receive the service area reporting message and update the MME pool according to the service area reporting message.
It will be understood by those skilled in the art that all or part of the steps of the above methods may be implemented by instructing the relevant hardware through a program, and the program may be stored in a computer readable storage medium, such as a read-only memory, a magnetic or optical disk, and the like. Alternatively, all or part of the steps of the above embodiments may be implemented using one or more integrated circuits. Accordingly, each module/unit in the above embodiments may be implemented in the form of hardware, and may also be implemented in the form of a software functional module. The present invention is not limited to any specific form of combination of hardware and software.

and the enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway updates a mobile management entity pool according to the service region report message.

The mobility management entity pool updating method of claim 1, wherein before the enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway receives the service area reporting message of the mobility management entity node, the method further comprises: and the enhanced multimedia broadcast multicast service gateway sends a service area reporting request message to the mobile management entity node.
3. The mobility management entity pool updating method according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the service area reporting message is a service message; the mode that the service area report message includes the service area information managed by the mobile management entity node includes:
