Abstract
本发明提供一种显示装置及其驱动方法,属于显示技术领域,其可解决现有的双面显示装置无法实现单面/双面/透明/不透明等多种状态间的切换的问题。本发明的显示装置中的显示面板包括两个可视面,控制器显示面板两面的控制显示切换部件和背光源在开启或关闭的状态间切换,以使所述显示面板呈单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。具体的,若控制一侧显示切换部件开启,显示面板呈单面不透过显示;若控制一侧背光源开启,同侧显示切换部件关闭,显示面板呈单面、透视。若控制两侧背光源开启,两侧显示切换部件关闭,显示面板呈双面、透视。本发明的显示装置可满足不同观看需求。

本发明属于显示技术领域,具体涉及一种显示装置及其驱动方法。
背景技术
显示面板作为一种人机交互界面产品,已经在生产和生活中得到了广泛的应用。相关技术中的显示面板大多只具有单面显示的功能,即在该显示面板上仅有一个面能够显示图像。但是,在数字标牌、电子通讯器材、收银设施、窗口问询设施、展览馆等设施中往往需要从显示面板的两面观看显示的图像,即显示面板需要具有双面显示的功能。
发明人发现现有技术中至少存在如下问题:现有的双面显示装置无法实现单面/双面/透明/不透明等多种状态间的切换,以满足不同观看需求。
发明内容
本发明针对现有的双面显示装置无法实现单面/双面/透明/不透明等多种状态间的切换的问题,提供一种显示装置及其驱动方法。
解决本发明技术问题所采用的技术方案是:
一种显示装置,包括:
显示面板,所述显示面板包括两个可视面;
分别设于所述显示面板两个可视面的显示切换部件;
分别设于所述显示面板两个可视面的背光源;
控制器;所述控制器控制所述显示切换部件和所述背光源在开启或关闭的状态间切换,以使所述显示面板呈单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。
优选的是,所述显示切换部件平行于所述显示面板所在的面设置。
优选的是,所述背光源的出光方向为射向所述显示面板的方向。
优选的是,所述显示切换部件包括掺杂有光散射粒子的导光板,以及设置在导光板一侧的第一光源,所述第一光源为侧入式光源。
优选的是,所述切换部件包括可收放的幕布和第二光源,所述第二光源设置在所述幕布与所述显示面板之间的至少一个侧边缘的位置处。
优选的是,在靠近所述显示面板的一个侧边设有卷轴,所述幕布的一端固定于所述卷轴上,所述卷轴转动以使所述幕布收放。
优选的是,所述幕布由柔性反光材料构成。

本发明的显示装置中的显示面板包括两个可视面,控制器显示面板两面的控制显示切换部件和背光源在开启或关闭的状态间切换,以使所述显示面板呈单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。具体的,若控制一侧显示切换部件开启,显示面板呈单面不透过显示;若控制一侧背光源开启,同侧显示切换部件关闭,显示面板呈单面、透视。若控制两侧背光源开启,两侧显示切换部件关闭,显示面板呈双面、透视。本发明的显示装置可满足不同观看需求。

具体实施方式
为使本领域技术人员更好地理解本发明的技术方案,下面结合附图和具体实施方式对本发明作进一步详细描述。
实施例1:
本实施例提供一种显示装置,如图1所示,包括显示面板1、显示切换部件2、背光源3、控制器(图1中未示出);其中,所述显示面板1包括两个可视面;显示切换部件2分别设于所述显示面板1两个可视面;背光源3分别设于所述显示面板1两个可视面;控制器控制所述显示切换部件2和所述背光源3在开启或关闭的状态间切换,以使所述显示面板1呈单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。
本实施例的显示装置中的显示面板1包括两个可视面,其中,控制器若控制一侧显示切换部件开启,显示面板呈单面不透过显示;若控制一侧背光源开启,同侧显示切换部件关闭,显示面板呈单面、透视。若控制两侧背光源开启,两侧显示切换部件关闭,显示面板呈双面、透视。本发明的显示装置可满足不同观看需求。
实施例2:
本实施例提供一种显示装置,如图2-10所示,包括显示面板1、显示切换部件2、背光源3、控制器;其中,所述显示面板1包括两个可视面;显示切换部件2分别设于所述显示面板1两个可视面;背光源3分别设于所述显示面板1两个可视面;控制器控制所述显示切换部件2和所述背光源3在开启或关闭的状态间切换,以使所述显示面板1呈单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。其中,所述显示切换部件2平行于所述显示面板所在的面设置。
也就是说,显示面板1为双面显示的显示面板,其多为可透明显示的显示面板1。显示切换部件2和所述背光源3均分别设置在显示面板1的两侧,显示切换部件2和所述背光源3配合使用,若控制一侧显示切换部件开启,显示面板呈单面不透过显示;若控制一侧背光源开启,同侧显示切换部件关闭,显示面板呈单面、透视。若控制两侧背光源开启,两侧显示切换部件关闭,显示面板呈双面、透视。
具体的,本实施例给出几种显示切换部件2的具体实施方式:
第一种实施方式:
显示切换部件2为掺杂有光散射粒子的导光板23,以及设置在导光板23一侧的第一光源21,所述第一光源21为侧入式光源。
也就是说,如图2所示,参照显示面板1作为中心位置,当右侧的第一光源21点亮时,此时左侧的第一光源21为关闭状态,右侧的第一光源21的光线从该侧导光板23侧面射入导光板23内部,在光散射粒子对光线的散射作用下,导光板23呈现雾化状态。此时观察者只能透过显示面板1看见雾化状态导光板23,导光板23后方的物体被遮挡。即显示面板1呈单面不透过显示。
如图3所示,当右侧的第一光源21关闭、右侧的背光源3开启时,光线从右侧的导光板23后面射入导光板23内部,光散射粒子对光线不起散射作用,导光板23呈现透明状态。此时观察者可以观看显示面板1的图像,同时可以透过显示面板1看见导光板23后方的物体。即显示面板1呈单面、透视。上述右侧的方案仅仅是示意性的举例,可以理解的是,如图4所示,左侧的方案与右侧的方案类似,在此不再赘述。
第二种实施方式:
显示切换部件2为可收放的幕布24和第二光源,第二光源设置在所述幕布24与所述显示面板1之间的至少一个侧边缘的位置处。
优选的是,在靠近所述显示面板1的一个侧边设有卷轴25,所述幕布24的一端固定于所述卷轴25上,所述卷轴25转动以使所述幕布24收放。
优选的是,所述幕布24由柔性反光材料构成。
优选的是,所述第二光源22的出光方向为射向所述幕布24的方向。
优选的是,所述背光源3的出光方向为射向所述显示面板1的方向。
也就是说,如图5、6所示,幕布24分别放置在透明显示面板1的两侧,第二光源22分别放置在透明显示面板1的两侧。幕布24为柔性白色反光材料。当观看者位于右侧,左侧的第二光源22点亮,左侧的幕布24伸展,同时右侧幕布24收起,观看者可观看显示面板1显示的图像,同时,由于幕布24遮挡,观察者看不到显示面板1后方的物体。即显示面板1呈单面不透过显示。如图7所示,若控制一侧背光源3开启,两侧显示切换部件2关闭,显示面板1呈单面、透视;若控制两侧背光源3开启,两侧显示切换部件2关闭,显示面板1呈双面、透视。
优选的是,所述显示面板1为双面显示的液晶显示面板1,其包括阵列基板11,所述阵列基板11的衬底14上设有薄膜晶体管。
也就是说,显示面板1可以是一个液晶显示面板1,具体结构如图8所示,其多为透明显示面板1,具体的,该显示面板1包括阵列基板11和彩膜基板12,阵列基板11和彩膜基板12均为透明的,一侧的观看者观看阵列基板11的一面,另侧的观看者观看彩膜基板12的一面。可以理解的是,该液晶显示面板1还可以是粘在一起的两个透明液晶显示面板1,即两个透明液晶显示面板1的阵列基板11粘在一起,两侧的观看者分别观看两个显示面板1的彩膜基板12。
优选的是,所述薄膜晶体管上由金属构成的部件与所述衬底14之间设有遮光层15。
也就是说,当显示面板1是一个液晶显示面板1时,若观看者观看阵列基板11的一面,由于阵列基板11的栅极13多由金属构成,金属层会反射光线,影响阵列基板11一侧的显示效果。在此,如图9所示,在栅极13与衬底14之间设置遮光层15,可以避免反射,增强显示效果。具体的,遮光层15的材料可以与黑矩阵的材料类似。
优选的是,所述显示装置还包括控制电路4,所述控制电路4与所述显示面板1连接,所述控制器控制所述控制电路4向所述显示面板1输入驱动信号以使所述显示面板1单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。
也就是说,如图10所示,在显示面板1的一侧边缘位置处连接有控制电路4,控制电路4用于为显示装置提供数字信号以使显示面板1进行显示。具体的,当显示面板1是一个液晶显示面板1时,若彩膜基板12的一面的观看者为正面,那么阵列基板11的一侧进行观看时,需要数字信号进行翻转。
优选的是,所述控制器包括手动开关或遥控传感器。
也就是说,通过手动开关或遥控传感器(即遥控器)控制显显示面板1位于运行状态或关闭状态,并打开显示面板1对应侧的光源,此时显示面板1的控制电路识别控制器来信号的方向,并据此判断观看者所在的位置,即判断观看者是位于显示面板1哪一侧,并判断显示数字信号需不需翻转。当观看者位于显示面板1正面(彩膜基板12一侧)时,显示信号不翻转。当观察者位于显示器反面(阵列基板11一侧)时,显示信号翻转,进行相应的显示。
实施例3:
本实施例提供一种上述实施例的显示装置的驱动方法,显示装置包括显示面板、显示切换部件、背光源、控制器,其中,显示面板包括两个可视面;如图11所示,所述驱动方法包括以下步骤:
S01、控制器向显示装置发出信号,显示装置根据控制器来信号的方向判断观看主体相对于显示装置的位置;也就是说,由于显示面板包括两个可视面,控制器判断观看主体位于显示面板的哪一侧,以确定需开启对应的显示切换部件、背光源进行显示。
S02、根据上述判断结果,控制器控制显示切换部件和背光源在开启或关闭的状态间切换,以使所述显示面板呈单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。其中,控制器包括手动开关或遥控传感器。具体的,通过手动开关或遥控传感器(即遥控器)控制显显示面板位于运行状态或关闭状态,并打开显示面板对应侧的光源,此时显示面板的控制电路识别控制器位于显示面板哪一侧,并判断显示数字信号需不需翻转。
显然,上述各实施例的具体实施方式还可进行许多变化;例如:掺杂有光散射粒子的导光板具体材料可以根据实际产品进行改变,可收放的幕布收放方式、卷轴设置形式可以根据需要进行调整。
实施例4:
本实施例提供了一种显示装置,所述显示装置可以为:电子纸、平板电脑、电视机、显示器等任何具有显示功能的产品或部件。
可以理解的是,以上实施方式仅仅是为了说明本发明的原理而采用的示例性实施方式,然而本发明并不局限于此。对于本领域内的普通技术人员而言,在不脱离本发明的精神和实质的情况下,可以做出各种变型和改进,这些变型和改进也视为本发明的保护范围。
Claims (13)
1.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括:
显示面板,所述显示面板包括两个可视面;
分别设于所述显示面板两个可视面的显示切换部件;
分别设于所述显示面板两个可视面的背光源;
控制器;所述控制器控制所述显示切换部件和所述背光源在开启或关闭的状态间切换,以使所述显示面板呈单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。
2.根据权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示切换部件平行于所述显示面板所在的面设置。
3.根据权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述背光源的出光方向为射向所述显示面板的方向。
4.根据权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示切换部件包括掺杂有光散射粒子的导光板,以及设置在导光板一侧的第一光源,所述第一光源为侧入式光源。
5.根据权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述切换部件包括可收放的幕布和第二光源,所述第二光源设置在所述幕布与所述显示面板之间的至少一个侧边缘的位置处。
6.根据权利要求5所述的显示装置,其特征在于,在靠近所述显示面板的一个侧边设有卷轴,所述幕布的一端固定于所述卷轴上,所述卷轴转动以使所述幕布收放。
7.根据权利要求5所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述幕布由柔性反光材料构成。
8.根据权利要求5所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述第二光源的出光方向为射向所述幕布的方向。
9.根据权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示面板为双面显示的液晶显示面板,其包括阵列基板,所述阵列基板的衬底上设有薄膜晶体管。
10.根据权利要求9所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述薄膜晶体管上由金属构成的部件与所述衬底之间设有遮光层。
11.根据权利要求1所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示装置还包括控制电路,所述控制电路与所述显示面板连接,所述控制器控制所述控制电路向所述显示面板输入驱动信号以使所述显示面板单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。
12.根据权利要求11所述的显示装置,其特征在于,所述控制器包括手动开关或遥控传感器。
13.如权利要求1-12任一项所述显示装置的驱动方法,其特征在于,包括以下步骤:
控制器向显示装置发出信号,显示装置根据所述信号的方向判断观看主体相对于显示装置的位置;
根据上述判断结果,控制器控制显示切换部件和背光源在开启或关闭的状态间切换,以使所述显示面板呈单面或双面显示、透明或不透明显示。
