Description
技术领域
本发明属于液晶显示技术领域,具体地讲,涉及一种液晶面板及其薄膜晶体管阵列基板。
背景技术
随着光电与半导体技术的演进,也带动了平板显示器(Flat Panel Display)的蓬勃发展,而在诸多平板显示器中,液晶显示器(Liquid Crystal Display,LCD)因具有高空间利用效率、低消耗功率、无辐射以及低电磁干扰等诸多优越特性,已被应用于生产生活的各个方面。
现有的液晶显示器大部分为背光型液晶显示器,其包括液晶面板及背光模组(Backlight Module)。液晶面板的工作原理是在两片平行的玻璃基板当中放置液晶分子,两片玻璃基板中间有许多垂直和水平的细小电线,通过通电与否来控制液晶分子改变方向,将背光模组的光线折射出来产生画面。
通常液晶面板由彩膜基板(CF,Color Filter)、薄膜晶体管阵列基板(TFT,ThinFilm Transistor)、夹于彩膜基板与薄膜晶体管阵列基板之间的液晶(LC,LiquidCrystal)及密封胶框(Sealant)组成。
目前,薄膜晶体管阵列基板上的显示驱动芯片(或称控制芯片)大多数采用玻璃基板上贴装芯片(COG)的方式进行贴装。采用这种方式的优势在于:减少了焊接工艺,且体积比印刷电路板上搭载芯片(COB)的方式大大缩小,更易于小型化、简易化和高度集成化,且不存在芯片变形等问题。
然而,由于显示驱动芯片的长度小于薄膜晶体管所占区域(即显示区)的宽度,使得显示驱动芯片所占区域成为整个薄膜晶体管阵列基板中强度最薄弱的区域。同时,由于显示驱动芯片直接贴装在薄膜晶体管阵列基板上,导致没有空间在显示驱动芯片和显示区之间做静电防护措施。这两个问题均会降低液晶面板的生产良率。
发明内容
为了解决上述现有技术存在的问题,本发明的目的在于提供一种薄膜晶体管阵列基板,其包括:基板;阵列排布于所述基板上的多个薄膜晶体管;其中,所述多个薄膜晶体管所占区域为显示区;设置于所述基板上且位于所述显示区一侧的柔性电路板;设置于所述显示区与所述柔性电路板之间的控制芯片,所述柔性电路板的两侧分别超出所述控制芯片的对应两侧;设置于所述控制芯片的第一侧的第一强化件,所述第一侧与所述控制芯片朝向所述显示区的一侧相邻;设置于所述控制芯片的与所述第一侧相对的第二侧的第二强化件;以及覆盖所述控制芯片、所述第一强化件和所述第二强化件的第三强化件。
进一步地,所述第一强化件和所述第二强化件的上表面与所述控制芯片的上表面平齐。
进一步地,所述第一强化件和所述第二强化件均包括:强化本体、由所述强化本体的朝向所述显示区的一侧凹陷形成的第一容胶槽、由所述强化本体的朝向所述控制芯片的一侧与所述强化本体的背向所述显示区的一侧的连接处凹陷形成的第二容胶槽。
进一步地,所述柔性电路板超出所述控制芯片的侧端的端部卡合于所述第二容胶槽中。
进一步地,所述第三强化件包括:强化本体、由所述强化本体的朝向所述显示区一侧的两端分别凹陷形成的两个第三容胶槽。
进一步地,所述第三容胶槽与所述第一容胶槽上下一一对应。
进一步地,使胶水溢容到所述第一容胶槽、所述第二容胶槽和所述第三溶胶槽中,从而将所述第一强化件、所述第二强化件和所述第三强化件固定。
进一步地,所述薄膜晶体管阵列基板还包括:设置在所述第三强化件之上的导电胶带;所述导电胶带的一端延伸至所述显示区与所述控制芯片之间,以与所述控制芯片电连接;所述导电胶带的另一端延伸至所述柔性电路板,以与所述柔性电路板上的接地端电连接。
进一步地,所述第一强化件、所述第二强化件和所述第三强化件均由聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯制成。
本发明的另一目的还在于提供一种液晶面板,其包括上述的薄膜晶体管阵列基板。
本发明的有益效果:本发明通过在控制芯片周围设置强化件,以加强控制芯片所占区域的强度,并且通过第三强化件上设置的导电胶带将控制芯片与柔性电路板上的接地点连接,这样可以有效屏蔽外部环境对控制芯片的干扰,同时静电能够直接由导电胶带流至柔性电路板的接地点,防止静电对控制芯片造成静电损伤。

参照图1,根据本发明的实施例的薄膜晶体管阵列基板10包括:基板11;在基板11上形成的显示区12,其中,显示区12由基板11上阵列排布的多个薄膜晶体管(未示出)所占区域形成;设置于基板11上且位于显示区12一侧的柔性电路板(FPC)13;设置于基板11上且位于显示区12与柔性电路板13之间的控制芯片(或称显示驱动芯片)14,其中,柔性电路板13的两侧分别超出控制芯片14的对应两侧;设置于控制芯片14的第一侧的第一强化件15,其中,控制芯片14的第一侧与控制芯片14朝向显示区12的一侧相邻;设置于控制芯片14的第二侧的第二强化件16,其中,控制芯片14的第二侧与控制芯片14的第一侧相对;以及覆盖控制芯片14、第一强化件15和第二强化件16的第三强化件17。如此,通过在控制芯片14周围设置强化件,以加强控制芯片14所占区域的强度。
进一步地,根据本发明的实施例的薄膜晶体管阵列基板10还包括:设置在第三强化件17之上的导电胶带18。导电胶带18用于将控制芯片14与柔性电路板13上的接地点连接,这样可以有效屏蔽外部环境对控制芯片14的干扰,同时静电能够直接由导电胶带18流至柔性电路板13的接地点,防止静电对控制芯片14造成静电损伤。
图2是根据本发明的实施例的第一强化件、第二强化件和第三强化件的结构示意图。
参照图1和图2,根据本发明的实施例的第一强化件15包括:第一强化本体151、由第一强化本体151的朝向显示区12的一侧凹陷形成的第一容胶槽152、由第一强化本体151的朝向控制芯片14的一侧与第一强化本体151的背向显示区12的一侧的连接处凹陷形成的第二容胶槽153。
同样地,根据本发明的实施例的第二强化件16包括:第二强化本体161、由第二强化本体161的朝向显示区12的一侧凹陷形成的第三容胶槽162、由第二强化本体161的朝向控制芯片14的一侧与第二强化本体161的背向显示区12的一侧的连接处凹陷形成的第四容胶槽163。
根据本发明的实施例的第三强化件17包括:第三强化本体171、由第三强化本体171的朝向显示区12一侧的两端分别凹陷形成的两个第五容胶槽172。
当第三强化件17覆盖在控制芯片14、第一强化件15和第二强化件16上时,两个第五容胶槽172之一与第一容胶槽152上下重叠对齐,两个第五容胶槽172之另一与第三容胶槽162上下重叠对齐。
当对第一强化件15、第二强化件16和第三强化件17进行固定时,可以在控制芯片14的两侧涂布一定长宽和厚度的胶水,然后将第一强化件15、第二强化件16分别粘结在控制芯片14的两侧,并且将第三强化件17覆盖在控制芯片14、第一强化件15和第二强化件16上,在按压的过程中,胶水溢容于各容胶槽中,从而完成第一强化件15、第二强化件16和第三强化件17的固定。具体请参照图3和图4。
图3是根据本发明的实施例的液晶面板的侧视图。图4是图3中的A-A向视图。
参照图3和图4,根据本发明的实施例的液晶面板包括:薄膜晶体管阵列基板10;与薄膜晶体管阵列基板10对盒设置的彩膜基板20;以及夹设于二者之间的液晶层(未示出)。
彩膜基板20的面积大体上与薄膜晶体管阵列基板10的显示区12的面积对应。通常,彩膜基板20包括彩色光阻、黑色矩阵、配向膜层等必要的部件。
第一强化件15、第二强化件16分别通过胶水19粘结在控制芯片14的两侧。进一步地,通过第一强化件15与基板11之间以及第二强化件16与基板11之间的胶水19,使第一强化件15与第二强化件16被垫高,从而使第一强化件15与第二强化件16的上表面都与控制芯片14的上表面平齐,这样可方便第三强化件17的设置。
当第一强化件15、第二强化件16分别通过胶水19粘结在控制芯片14的两侧时,第二容胶槽153和第四容胶槽163分别与柔性电路板13超出控制芯片14的侧端的端部卡合。
导电胶带18设置在第三强化件17之上。导电胶带18的一端延伸至显示区12与控制芯片14之间的区域并延伸至彩膜基板20之上,以与控制芯片14电连接;导电胶带18的另一端延伸至柔性电路板13,以与柔性电路板13上的接地点电连接。
此外,在本实施例中,第一强化件15、第二强化件16以及第三强化件17均由聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)薄膜制成,但本发明并不限制于此。
虽然已经参照特定实施例示出并描述了本发明,但是本领域的技术人员将理解:在不脱离由权利要求及其等同物限定的本发明的精神和范围的情况下,可在此进行形式和细节上的各种变化。
Claims (9)
1.一种薄膜晶体管阵列基板,其特征在于,包括:
基板(11);
阵列排布于所述基板(11)上的多个薄膜晶体管;其中,所述多个薄膜晶体管所占区域为显示区(12);
设置于所述基板(11)上且位于所述显示区(12)一侧的柔性电路板(13);
设置于所述显示区(12)与所述柔性电路板(13)之间的控制芯片(14),所述柔性电路板(13)的两侧分别超出所述控制芯片(14)的对应两侧;
设置于所述控制芯片(14)的第一侧的第一强化件(15),所述第一侧与所述控制芯片(14)朝向所述显示区(12)的一侧相邻;
设置于所述控制芯片(14)的与所述第一侧相对的第二侧的第二强化件(16);以及
覆盖所述控制芯片(14)、所述第一强化件(15)和所述第二强化件(16)的第三强化件(17);
所述第一强化件(15)和所述第二强化件(16)均包括:强化本体、由所述强化本体的朝向所述显示区(12)的一侧凹陷形成的第一容胶槽、由所述强化本体的朝向所述控制芯片(14)的一侧与所述强化本体的背向所述显示区(12)的一侧的连接处凹陷形成的第二容胶槽。
2.根据权利要求1所述的薄膜晶体管阵列基板,其特征在于,所述第一强化件(15)和所述第二强化件(16)的上表面与所述控制芯片(14)的上表面平齐。
3.根据权利要求1所述的薄膜晶体管阵列基板,其特征在于,所述柔性电路板(13)超出所述控制芯片(14)的侧端的端部卡合于所述第二容胶槽中。
4.根据权利要求1或3所述的薄膜晶体管阵列基板,其特征在于,所述第三强化件(17)包括:强化本体、由所述强化本体的朝向所述显示区(12)一侧的两端分别凹陷形成的两个第三容胶槽。
5.根据权利要求4所述的薄膜晶体管阵列基板,其特征在于,所述第三容胶槽与所述第一容胶槽上下一一对应。
6.根据权利要求5所述薄膜晶体管阵列基板,其特征在于,使胶水容置到所述第一容胶槽、所述第二容胶槽和所述第三容胶槽中,从而将所述第一强化件(15)、所述第二强化件(16)和所述第三强化件(17)固定。
7.根据权利要求1所述的薄膜晶体管阵列基板,其特征在于,还包括:设置在所述第三强化件(17)之上的导电胶带(18);所述导电胶带(18)的一端延伸至所述显示区(12)与所述控制芯片(14)之间,以与所述控制芯片(14)电连接;所述导电胶带(18)的另一端延伸至所述柔性电路板(13),以与所述柔性电路板(13)上的接地端电连接。
8.根据权利要求1所述的薄膜晶体管阵列基板,其特征在于,所述第一强化件(15)、所述第二强化件(16)和所述第三强化件(17)均由聚对苯二甲酸乙二酯制成。
9.一种液晶面板,其特征在于,包括权利要求1至8任一项所述的薄膜晶体管阵列基板。
