Fig. 1 illustrates a schematic perspective view of a refrigerator 100 according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the refrigerator 100 includes a main body 5 having a first storage chamber (not shown) and a second storage chamber (not shown) disposed side by side. The refrigerator 100 further includes a pair of half doors 1, 1' connected to the main body 5 to close the respective storage compartments, respectively.
The door 1 has an insulating layer 17 (fig. 5) between the door panel 11 and the inner liner (not shown). Referring to fig. 2 in conjunction with fig. 1, the door 1 has an integrated operation center 6. The operation center 6 includes a user interface 61 and a handle slot 132 integrated into the operation center 6. When the door 1 is opened or closed, a user's hand may extend into the handle groove 132.
The operation center 6 may further include a recess 133, and the user's hand enters the handle groove 132 through the recess 133. The recess 133 is opened to the front surface 101 and the side surface 102 of the door 1 to be exposed to the front and right sides of the door 1, and thus is accessible from the front and right sides of the door 1.
The operation center 6 is provided on the side of the door 1 opposite to the other door 1'. In this embodiment, the door 1' also has a recess and a handle slot (not shown) accessible from the recess. The depressions of a pair of doors 1, 1' are oppositely disposed and may have the same length.
The user interface 61 is arranged to accept input from a user and/or to output information to a user. The user interface 61 includes a front panel 14 and an appliance module 15 located behind the front panel 14.
The appliance module 15 may include an output unit to output information (e.g., setting information about the refrigerator 100 and/or food stored in the refrigerator 100, or information unrelated to the refrigerator such as video/photos) to a user and/or an input unit to receive a user's instruction.
The front panel 14 may include a plurality of touch areas 14a and/or display areas 14b indicated by touch indicia. The electrical module 14 may include a touch unit to receive an instruction input by a user through operating the touch area 14a and/or the display area 14 b.
The door 1 includes a receiving space 131 depressed rearward to receive the electrical module 15. The receiving space 131, the handle groove 132 and the recess 133 may be located in the same receiving case 13. The accommodating case 13 is connected to the door panel 11, and the rear side thereof is tightly fixed to the insulation layer 17.
The front panel 14 is attached to the accommodating case 13. In the present embodiment, the front panel 14 does not contact the heat insulating layer 17 of the door 1, so that it can be detached from the door 1 without damaging the door 1.
The grip portion 135 may be integrally formed on the accommodating case 13. The grip portion 13 may have embedded therein a reinforcing insert 1353.
Referring to fig. 2-5, also covered by the front panel 14 is a grip portion 135 located forward of the handle slot 132. When a user's hand is inserted into the handle groove 132, fingers positioned in the handle groove 132 may be pulled on the grip portion 135.
The front panel 14 includes a front cover 141 covering the receiving space 131 and a flange 142 bent rearward from a first side of the front cover 141. A first side of the front cover plate 141 is adjacent to an entrance of the handle groove 132.
The front cover 141 covers the electric module 15 and the hand grip 135 in the front-rear direction of the door 1. The flange 142 is connected to the grip portion 135 and covers at least a part of the grip portion 135 in the depth direction D of the handle groove (in the present embodiment, the width direction/lateral direction of the door 1). With this, the end surface of the front panel 14 is not easily exposed to the user, which is advantageous in that a portion where the door 1 is easily seen by the user has a neat appearance.
In this embodiment, the electrical module 15 may be fixed to the rear side of the front cover 141. The rear side of the front cover 141 has a fixing portion 1411 for fixing the electrical module 15. The fixing portion 1411 includes a plurality of hooks 1412, and the hooks 1412 are fastened to the electrical module 15. In an alternative embodiment, the electrical module 15 can also be fixed to the receiving housing 13.
The front cover 141 includes a plurality of hook-shaped catching portions 137 for engaging with the accommodating case 13. The catching part 137 extends rearward from the rear surface of the front cover plate 141 and forms a hook part at the tip. The locking portion 137 is connected to the second side of the front cover 141 on which the flange is not provided and extends rearward.
As shown in fig. 5, the hooking portion 137 is hooked on a recess (not labeled) of the accommodating case 131, the recess being located on a boundary wall 136 that defines a boundary of the accommodating space 131.
A snap feature 3 is also provided on the other side of the front panel 14 between the flange 142 and the finger grip 135. The snap structure includes a plurality of hooks 31 provided on the flange 142 and/or the hand grip 135 and a plurality of recesses 32 provided on the hand grip 135 and/or the flange 142 to be engaged with the corresponding hooks 31.
Since the user's hand often touches and/or presses the front panel 14 during the door opening process, which may cause the front panel 14 to deform, loosen or even fall off, for this reason, according to an embodiment of the present invention, the door 1 includes a fixing member 7 located behind the front panel 14 to fix the front panel 14 to the door 1. In this embodiment, the fixing member 7 has a threaded structure, such as a screw.
As shown in fig. 4, the front panel 14 includes a connecting portion 5 protruding into the housing case 13 from the rear side thereof. The connecting portion 5 has a first hole 51 penetrating the connecting portion 5. The connection part 5 is located between the opposite left and right sides of the front cover 141, and particularly, the connection part 5 is located between the module 15 and the partition 134 of the receiving space 131 of the handle groove 132, so that the fixture 7 does not affect the module 15.
Accordingly, as shown in fig. 3, the accommodating case 13 has a fixing wall 6 extending toward the front panel 14, and the fixing wall 6 has a second hole 61. When the front panel 14 is mounted on the door 1, the connecting portion 5 and the fixing wall 6 overlap in the depth direction D of the handle groove 132, and the first hole 51 and the second hole 61 are concentric.
The connecting portion 5 and the fixing wall 6 are located between the partition wall 134 and the boundary wall 136 of the accommodating space 131 opposite to the partition wall 134. The connecting portion 5 may have a substantially U-shaped cross section.
As shown in fig. 5, the partition 134 has a third hole 1341 concentric with the first and second holes 51, 61. The fixing member 7 is connected to the connecting portion 5 and the fixing wall 6 through the partition wall 134. Specifically, the fixing member 7 passes through the third hole 1341, the first hole 51, and the second hole 61 in this order to fix the front panel 14 to the accommodating case 13, and thus to the door 1. In this embodiment, the fixing member 7 may be screw-coupled with the second hole 61.
The central axes of the first hole 51, the second hole 61 and the third hole 1341 are at least substantially parallel to the front cover plate 141, so that the fixing member 7 is at least substantially parallel to the front cover plate 141 with a space between the fixing member 7 and the flange 142.
In an alternative embodiment, the connecting portion 5 may also be fixed to the partition wall 134. For example, the fixing member 7 is screwed into the first hole 51 of the connecting portion 5 after passing through the hole of the partition wall 134. In this way, no additional fixing wall 6 has to be provided in the receiving housing 13.
In addition, in order to avoid the deformation of the front panel 14 caused by the user frequently pressing the front cover 141, for example, the flange 142 may be warped outwards, and an uneven gap is formed between the flange 142 and the hand grip 135, according to the embodiment of the present invention, besides a plurality of snap structures 3 for snap-connecting the hand grip 135 and the flange 142, a plug structure 4 for plug-connecting the hand grip 135 and the flange 142 is further provided between the flange 142 and the hand grip 135. The latching structures 3 and the plug-in structures 4 are distributed alternately and with a spacing in the longitudinal direction of the hand grip 135.
The insertion structure 4 includes at least one positioning protrusion 41, 42 provided on the hand grip 135 and/or the flange 142 and at least one positioning groove 43, 44 provided on the flange 142 and/or the hand grip 135, the positioning protrusion 41, 42 being inserted into the corresponding positioning groove 43, 44 in the front-rear direction of the door 1.
The positioning projections 41, 42 are at least substantially perpendicular to the front cover plate 141, and the positioning grooves 43, 44 have a backward open entrance and a forward open entrance, respectively, so that the positioning projections 41, 42 can be inserted into the corresponding positioning grooves 43, 44, respectively, in the front-rear direction. Both ends of the positioning projection 42 have a shape adapted to the positioning groove 44. When the positioning projection 42 is inserted into the positioning groove 44, both ends of the positioning projection 42 are stopped by the positioning groove 44, thereby preventing the burring 142 from moving in the length direction of the handle groove 132.
In summary, the movement of the turned edge 142 relative to the grip part 135 in the depth direction D of the handle groove is blocked by the positioning part 41 inserted into the positioning groove 43 and the positioning part 42 inserted into the positioning groove 44, the movement of the turned edge 142 relative to the grip part 135 in the length direction of the handle groove 132 is blocked by the positioning part 42 inserted into the positioning groove 44, and the movement of the turned edge 142 relative to the grip part 135 in the front-rear direction is blocked by the catching structure 3, so that the movement of the turned edge 142 and the grip part 135 in three dimensions is restricted, which can effectively prevent the deformation of the turned edge 142.
The various embodiments of the individual components described in connection with fig. 1 to 5 may be combined with each other in any given way to achieve the advantages of the invention. In addition, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments, and other means than those shown may be generally used as long as the same effects are obtained.
