The present invention relates to temporary fencing. For purposes of explanation, reference will be made to temporary fencing of the type widely employed around construction sites to protect public safety and deter theft. It should be understood, however, that the invention is not necessarily limited to this application.

Background technique

Temporary fences of the above-mentioned type are usually manufactured from steel pipes which are hot-dip galvanized to prevent corrosion and, as a result, result in fences with a dark gray finish which is difficult to see in low light and at night.

The present invention has been developed to address the problems and difficulties associated with this background.

Contents of the invention

According to a first aspect, there is provided a barrier panel for a temporary fence, the barrier panel comprising: a boundary frame comprising a plurality of frame parts, and a filler panel, wherein at least one of the plurality of frame parts is at least partially ground is wrapped in a covering of high-visibility material.

Referring to Figure 1 , there is shown a grid panel 1 for a temporary fencing module. The grid panel 1 comprises a boundary frame comprising frame parts or elements of a pair of upright columns 2, upper and lower rails 4 and 6 bridging the upright columns 2, and filler panels 8 for the frame. form.

In use, the temporary fencing module comprises a pair of base members 40 (cf. FIG. 7 ) which operatively support substantially upstanding grid panels 1 . Referring to Figure 2, it can be seen that, in this embodiment, the upright column 2 and the upper and lower crossbars 4 and 6 comprise lengths of hot-dip galvanized mild steel pipe, and the filler plate 8 is hot-dip galvanized and powder-coated metal wire Stencil.
