技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其涉及一种使用量子点膜片的显示装置。
背景技术
随着显示技术的不断发展,人们对显示装置的显示质量要求也越来越高。目前市面上的液晶电视能表现的色域在68%-72%NTSC(NationalTelevisionStandardsCommittee)之间,因而不能提供高品质的色彩效果。为提高液晶电视的表现色域,高色域背光技术正成为行业内研究的重点。
量子点材料(QuantumDots,简称QDs)是指粒径在1-100nm的半导体晶粒。由于QDs的粒径较小,小于或者接近相应体材料的激子波尔半径,产生量子限域效应,本体材料连续的能带结构会转变为分立的能级结构,在外部光源的激发下,电子会发生跃迁,发射荧光。
QDs这种特殊的分立能级结构使其半波宽较窄,因而可发出较高纯度的单色光,相比于传统显示器具有更高的发光效率。同时,由于QDs的能级带隙,受其尺寸影响较大,可以通过调控QDs的尺寸或使用不同成分的QDs来激发出不同波长的光。为了满足人们对显示器宽色域、色彩高饱和度的需求,通过在背光结构中加入光致发光的量子点器件成为各大显示器厂商的有效选择。
然而将量子点材料应用于背光时,QDs的激发效率是一个需要考虑的实际问题,直接利用背光激发QDs时容易出现激发效率不高等问题。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于提供一种使用量子点膜片的显示装置,利用量子点膜片提高显示装置的色域范围,利用量子点片膜与显示面板之间的反光单元,提高量子点的激发效率与背光利用率。
为实现上述目的,本发明提供了一种使用量子点膜片的显示装置,包括显示面板、位于显示面板下方的背光模组、位于所述显示面板与背光模组之间的量子点膜片、及位于所述量子点膜片与显示面板之间的数个反光单元;
所述量子点膜片在背光模组发出的光的激发下发出激发光;所述液晶面板内具有黑色矩阵,所述数个反光单元对应所述黑色矩阵设置。
所述数个反光单元按矩阵阵列式排布,共同形成反光材阵列。
所述反光单元的材料为金属材料、或由高折射率的玻璃微珠或微晶格结构分散在树脂中所形成的膜材。
所述反光单元设置于所述量子点膜片上。
所述显示面板包括彩膜基板、与彩膜基板相对设置的TFT阵列基板、密封于所述彩膜基板与TFT阵列基板之间的液晶层、位于所述彩膜基板远离TFT阵列基板一侧的上偏光片、及位于所述TFT阵列基板远离彩膜基板一侧的下偏光片;所述彩膜基板或TFT阵列基板上设有黑色矩阵。

所述量子点膜片由胶体基质和分散在胶体基质中的量子点材料构成,所述背光模组发出的光为蓝光或蓝紫光。
所述量子点材料由在光激发下分别发出红光、绿光、蓝光的红色量子点材料、绿色量子点材料、及蓝色量子点材料组成。
所述量子点材料由在光激发下分别发出红光、绿光的红色量子点材料、和绿色量子点材料组成;所述背光模组发出的光为蓝光。
本发明的有益效果:本发明提供了一种使用量子点膜片的显示装置,包括位于所述显示面板与背光模组之间的量子点膜片,该量子点膜片在背光模组的光激发下发出更窄半高宽的激发光,从而可有效提升显示装置的色域范围,改善画面品质;另外,本发明的使用量子点膜片的显示装置还包括对应黑色矩阵设置的包括数个反光单元的反光材阵列,与现有的显示装置无反光材阵列的情况相比,该反光材阵列可以将原本被黑色矩阵吸收的激发光、和一部分未被量子点膜片吸收的背光反射回背光模组的导光板上,而重新散射回开口区内,其中未被量子点膜片吸收的背光可重新经过量子点膜片对量子点进行激发,进而有效提高了量子点激发效率与背光利用效率。

具体实施方式
为更进一步阐述本发明所采取的技术手段及其效果,以下结合本发明的优选实施例及其附图进行详细描述。
请参阅图1、及图4,本发明提供一种使用量子点膜片的显示装置,包括显示面板、位于显示面板下方的背光模组2、位于所述显示面板与背光模组2之间的量子点膜片3、及位于所述量子点膜片3与显示面板之间的数个反光单元41;
所述量子点膜片3在背光模组2发出的光的激发下发出激发光;所述液晶面板内具有黑色矩阵,所述数个反光单元41对应所述黑色矩阵设置。
具体的,数个反光单元41按矩阵阵列式排布,共同形成反光材阵列4。
具体的,所述显示面板包括彩膜基板11、与彩膜基板11相对设置的TFT阵列基板12、密封于所述彩膜基板11与TFT阵列基板12之间的液晶层13、位于所述彩膜基板11远离TFT阵列基板12一侧的上偏光片14、及位于所述TFT阵列基板12远离彩膜基板11一侧的下偏光片15;所述彩膜基板11或TFT阵列基板12上设有黑色矩阵。
具体的,如图3、图5、及图7所示,光由背光模组射出,经量子点膜片3后激发出更窄半高宽的激发光,从而可提升显示装置的色域范围,改善画面品质。另外,透过量子点膜片3的光为激发光和部分未被量子点膜片3吸收的背光,在无反光材阵列时,一定比例的激发光和未被量子点膜片3吸收的背光会被显示面板中的黑色矩阵(BlackMatrix,BM)所吸收,而本发明的使用量子点膜片的显示装置包括反光材阵列4,该反光材阵列4可以将原本被黑色矩阵吸收的激发光、和一部分未被量子点膜片吸收的背光反射回背光模组的导光板上,而重新散射回开口区内,其中未被量子点膜片吸收的背光可重新经过量子点膜片3而对量子点进行激发,进而有效提高了量子点激发效率与背光利用效率。
具体的,所述反光单元41的材料为金属材料、或由高折射率的玻璃微珠或微晶格结构分散在树脂中所形成的膜材。
具体的,所述量子点膜片3由胶体基质和分散在胶体基质中的量子点材料构成,所述背光模组发出蓝光或蓝紫光。
当所述量子点材料由在光激发下分别发出红光、绿光、蓝光的红色量子点材料、绿色量子点材料、及蓝色量子点材料组成时,所述背光模组可以为发出蓝光,也可以为发出蓝紫光。
当所述量子点材料由在光激发下分别发出红光、绿光的红色量子点材料、和绿色量子点材料组成时,所述所述背光模组发出蓝光,此时量子点膜片3发出的激发光与背光模组发出的蓝光混合成为白色光。
具体的,所述量子点材料可选自由ZnS、ZnSe、ZnTe、CdS、CdSe、CdTe、MnSe、HgS、HgSe、HgTe、AlN、AlP、AlAs、AlSb、GaN、GaP、GaAs、GaSb、GaSe、InN、InP、InAs、InSb、TlN、TlP、TlAs、TlSb、PbS、PbSe及PbTe所组成的群组的二元半导体材料;或可选自由CdxZn1-xSe、CdxZn1-xS、CuInS2、CuInSe2、AgInS2、AgInSe2、InxGa1-xP、CdxZn1-xSySe1-y所组成的群组的三元以上半导体材料;或可选自由MnSe:Cu、MnSe:Mn、CdS:Cu、CdS:Mn、In2S3:Cu、ZnO:Cu、ZnO:Mn所组成的群组的掺杂型半导体材料。
具体的,反光材阵列4可设置于量子点膜片3上,也可设置于下偏光15上;需要强调的是,量子点膜片3和反光材阵列4都需要设置在下偏光片14之下,这是由于背光激发量子点膜片3之后射出的激发光的方向为随机,如果在上、下偏光片之间对量子点膜片进行激发则无法保证光的偏振态,会造成漏光等现象。
请参阅图1,为本发明的使用量子点膜片的显示装置的第一实施例的结构示意图,本实施例中,如图2所示,所述反光材阵列4设置于所述量子点膜片3上。
具体的,如图3所示,光由背光模组2射出,经量子点膜片3后激发出更窄半高宽的激发光,此时透过量子点膜片3的光为激发光和部分未被量子点膜片3吸收的背光,反光材阵列4对应黑色矩阵设置于量子点膜片3上,该反光材阵列4可以将原本被黑色矩阵吸收的激发光、和一部分未被量子点膜片吸收的背光反射回背光模组,而后重新散射回开口区内,其中未被量子点膜片吸收的背光可重新经过量子点膜片对量子点进行激发,进而有效提高了量子点激发效率与背光利用效率。
请参阅图4,为本发明的使用量子点膜片的显示装置的第二实施例的结构示意图,与第一实施例相比,本实施例中,所述反光材阵列4设置于所述下偏光15上。
具体的,如图5所示,本实施例中,所述反光材阵列4设置于所述下偏光15上,同样能实现提升量子点激发效率与背光利用效率的目的。
如图6-7所示,本发明的使用量子点膜片的显示装置的第三实施例,与第二实施例相比,所述反光材阵列4的反光单元41的面向所述量子点膜片3的表面为经过物理修饰或化学修饰,具有散射作用,从而可以进一步提升反射光的均匀性。
综上所述,本发明的量子点膜片的显示装置,包括位于所述显示面板与背光模组之间的量子点膜片,该量子点膜片在背光模组的光激发下发出更窄半高宽的激发光,从而可有效提升显示装置的色域范围,改善画面品质;另外,本发明的使用量子点膜片的显示装置还包括对应黑色矩阵设置的反光材阵列,与现有的显示装置无反光材阵列的情况相比,该反光材阵列可以将原本被黑色矩阵吸收的激发光、和一部分未被量子点膜片吸收的背光反射回背光模组的导光板上,而重新散射回开口区内,其中未被量子点膜片吸收的背光可重新经过量子点膜片对量子点进行激发,进而有效提高了量子点激发效率与背光利用效率。
以上所述,对于本领域的普通技术人员来说,可以根据本发明的技术方案和技术构思作出其他各种相应的改变和变形,而所有这些改变和变形都应属于本发明权利要求的保护范围。
Claims (10)
1.一种使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,包括显示面板、位于显示面板下方的背光模组(2)、位于所述显示面板与背光模组(2)之间的量子点膜片(3)、及位于所述量子点膜片(3)与显示面板之间的数个反光单元(41);
所述量子点膜片(3)在背光模组(2)的光激发下发出激发光;所述液晶面板内具有黑色矩阵,所述数个反光单元(41)对应所述黑色矩阵设置。
2.如权利要求1所述的使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,所述数个反光单元(41)按矩阵阵列式排布,共同形成反光材阵列(4)。
3.如权利要求2所述的使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,所述反光单元(41)的材料为金属材料、或由高折射率的玻璃微珠或微晶格结构分散在树脂中形成的膜材。
4.如权利要求1所述的使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,其特征在于,所述反光单元(41)设置于所述量子点膜片(3)上。
5.如权利要求1所述的使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,所述显示面板包括彩膜基板(11)、与彩膜基板(11)相对设置的TFT阵列基板(12)、密封于所述彩膜基板(11)与TFT阵列基板(12)之间的液晶层(13)、位于所述彩膜基板(11)远离TFT阵列基板(12)一侧的上偏光片(14)、及位于所述TFT阵列基板(12)远离彩膜基板(11)一侧的下偏光片(15);
所述彩膜基板(11)或TFT阵列基板(12)上设有黑色矩阵。
6.如权利要求5所述的使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,所述反光单元(41)设置于所述下偏光(15)上。
7.如权利要求6所述的使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,所述反光单元(41)面向所述量子点膜片(3)的表面为经过物理修饰或化学修饰,具有散射作用。
8.如权利要求1所述的使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,所述量子点膜片(3)由胶体基质和分散在胶体基质中的量子点材料构成,所述背光模组(2)发出的光为蓝光或蓝紫光。
9.如权利要求6所述的使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,所述量子点材料由在光激发下分别发出红光、绿光、蓝光的红色量子点材料、绿色量子点材料、及蓝色量子点材料组成。
10.如权利要求6所述的使用量子点膜片的显示装置,其特征在于,所述量子点材料由在光激发下分别发出红光、绿光的红色量子点材料、和绿色量子点材料组成;所述背光模组(2)发出的光为蓝光。
