Abstract
本发明提供一种液晶显示用电极、阵列基板、显示面板、显示装置,用于解决现有技术中具有拐角设计的像素电极在透光率方面具有缺陷的问题。本发明提供的液晶显示用电极、阵列基板、显示面板、显示装置,由于在开口端的相邻所述电极梳齿之间设置至少一个凸起,使得具有凸起的条状电极的两端区域及靠近中心区域的电场在垂直方向和水平方向的电场分量都比较大,导致条状电极的两端区域及靠近中心的区域的透光率比较高,在消除细纹的前提下有效的改善了透光率较低的缺陷。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及显示技术领域,具体地,涉及一种液晶显示用电极、阵列基板、显示面板、显示装置。
背景技术
边缘场开关技术(FFS)采用在位于液晶层一侧的阵列基板上同时设有相互绝缘的公共电极和像素电极;其中,像素电极一般设计成条状电极,公共电极设计成板状电极,其中,像素电极包括多个间隔设置的电极梳齿,相邻电极梳齿的一端相互连接;所述电极梳齿的另一端形成开口端;这样在形成的电场线为抛物线形状,液晶分子在垂直方向和水平方向都具有电场矢量的电场下进行旋转提高了透光率。
由于正型液晶具有良好的稳定性和响应时间,现有边缘场开关技术像素设计一般采用正型液晶。随着触控屏的应用越来越广泛,正型液晶在受到外加压力是产生细纹(Trace mura)的问题越来越受到重视。
传统条状电极在TECHWIZ软件的电场矢量模拟图和透光率模拟图,分别如图1和图2所示;可见,采用传统条状电极时,条状电极的两端区域及靠近中心区域的电场在垂直方向的电场分量为零或很小,导致条状电极的两端区域及靠近中心区域的透光率比较低。
改进的条状电极,一般在条状电极的开口端增加拐角设计来降低细纹,该设计在TECHWIZ软件的电场矢量模拟图和透光率模拟图,分别如图3和图4所示,可见,采用具有拐角的条状电极时,条状电极的拐角两端区域及靠近中心区域的电场垂直方向的电场分量为零或很小,导致条状电极的拐角两端区域及靠近中心区域的透光率比较低。
具体的透光率比较见图5所示,图5为像素间距37.5um,不同电压下的透光率;传统设计及具有拐角的改进设计的像素区域的透光率都比较低,需要进一步提高。
虽然具有拐角的改进设计能够降低细纹的产生,但依然不能解决透光率降低的问题。
发明内容
解决上述问题所采用的技术方案是一种液晶显示用电极、阵列基板、显示面板、显示装置。
本发明提供一种液晶显示用电极,包括多个间隔设置的电极梳齿,相邻所述电极梳齿的一端相互连接;所述电极梳齿的另一端形成开口端,在开口端的相邻所述电极梳齿之间设置至少一个凸起;所述凸起与所述电极梳齿连接。
优选的,在开口端的相邻所述电极梳齿之间设置一个凸起。
优选的,所述凸起在垂直所述电极梳齿方向上从所述电极两侧朝向所述电极的中心。
优选的,所述凸起在相邻电极梳齿之间的长度大于所述相邻电极梳齿之间距离的二分之一。
优选的,所述凸起距离所述开口端的距离小于10μm。
优选的,所述凸起与所述电极梳齿相连接部分在梳齿长度方向的长度d3小于10μm。
本发明的另一个目的在于提供一种阵列基板,包括:采用上述述的液晶显示用电极作为条状电极,及与所述条状电极绝缘相对设置的板状电极。
本发明的另一个目的在于提供一种显示面板,包括上述的阵列基板及液晶层;所述阵列基板的条状电极和板状电极之间产生电场用于对液晶层的液晶分子的偏转进行控制。
本发明的另一个目的在于提供一种显示装置,包括上述的显示面板。
本发明提供的一种液晶显示用电极、阵列基板、显示面板、显示装置,由于在开口端的相邻所述电极梳齿之间设置至少一个凸起,使得具有凸起的条状电极的两端区域及靠近中心区域的电场在垂直方向和水平方向的电场分量都比较大,导致条状电极的两端区域及靠近中心的区域的透光率比较高,在消除细纹的前提下有效的改善了透光率较低的缺陷。

具体实施方式
为使本领域技术人员更好地理解本发明的技术方案,下面结合附图和具体实施方式对本发明作进一步详细描述。
实施例1:
如图6所示,本实施例提供一种液晶显示用电极,包括多个间隔设置的电极梳齿21,相邻所述电极梳齿21的一端相互连接;所述电极梳齿21的另一端形成开口端24,在开口端24的相邻所述电极梳齿21之间设置至少一个凸起22;所述凸起22与所述电极梳齿21连接。
本实施例的具有凸起22像素电极2在TECHWIZ软件的电场矢量模拟图和透光率模拟图,分别如图7和图8所示,在像素电极2的开口端24,具有凸起22的条状电极的两端区域及靠近中心的电场在垂直方向和水平方向的电场分量都比较大,导致条状电极的两端区域及靠近中心的区域的透光率比较高,在消除细纹的前提下有效的改善了透光率较低的缺陷。
可选的,在开口端24的相邻所述电极梳齿21之间设置一个凸起22。
应当理解的是,如图6所示,在开口端24的相邻电极梳齿间隔23设置两个相对的凸起22也是可以的,只要相邻电极梳齿间隔23能够容纳两个相对的凸起22即可,也就是说,凸起22设置的个数与相邻电极梳齿间隔23需要满足工艺制程的精度。
可选的,所述凸起22在垂直所述电极梳齿21方向上从所述电极两侧朝向所述电极的中心。
发明人通过模拟证明上述凸起22方向的设置对于提高像素电极2的透光率效果最好;当然,也可以将凸起22方向设置为其它方式,只是对透光率效果的改善相对差些。
如图7所示,可选的,所述凸起22在相邻电极梳齿21之间的长度大于所述相邻电极梳齿21之间距离的二分之一。当相邻电极梳齿21之间设置一个凸起22时,凸起22的长度d1大于相邻电极梳齿21之间距离d的二分之一,这样能更加方便的将凸起进行构图;并且有利于透光率较低的区域限定在开口端24。
可选的,所述凸起22距离所述开口端24的距离d2小于10μm。
应当理解的是,凸起22距离所述开口端24的距离越短越好,这样能尽量压缩开口端24透光率较低的区域,从而使像素电极2的中心透光率较高的部分相对扩展,有利于提高像素电极2的整体透光率。
可选的,所述凸起22与所述电极梳齿21相连接部分在梳齿长度方向的长度d3小于10μm。
应当理解的是,上述d3的限定在满足制作工艺精度的同时,越小越有利于压缩透光率较低的区域。
实施例2
本实施提供一种阵列基板,包括:采用上述的液晶显示用电极作为条状电极,及与所述条状电极绝缘相对设置的板状电极1。
实施例3
本实施提供一种显示面板,包括上述的阵列基板及液晶层;所述阵列基板的条状电极和板状电极1之间产生电场用于对液晶层的液晶分子的偏转进行控制。
实施例4
本实施提供一种显示装置,包括上述的显示面板。
实施例2-4的有益效果是在消除细纹的同时,提高了像素电极区域的透光率。
可以理解的是,以上实施方式仅仅是为了说明本发明的原理而采用的示例性实施方式,然而本发明并不局限于此。对于本领域内的普通技术人员而言,在不脱离本发明的精神和实质的情况下,可以做出各种变型和改进,这些变型和改进也视为本发明的保护范围。
Claims (7)
1.一种液晶显示用电极,包括多个间隔设置的电极梳齿,相邻所述电极梳齿的一端相互连接;所述电极梳齿的另一端形成开口端,其特征在于,在开口端的相邻所述电极梳齿之间设置至少一个凸起;所述凸起与所述电极梳齿连接;
所述凸起在垂直所述电极梳齿方向上从所述电极两侧朝向所述电极的中心;
所述凸起在相邻电极梳齿之间的长度大于所述相邻电极梳齿之间距离的二分之一。
2.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示用电极,其特征在于,在开口端的相邻所述电极梳齿之间设置一个凸起。
3.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示用电极,其特征在于,所述凸起距离所述开口端的距离小于10μm。
4.如权利要求1所述的液晶显示用电极,其特征在于,所述凸起与所述电极梳齿相连接部分在梳齿长度方向的长度d3小于10μm。
5.一种阵列基板,其特征在于,包括:采用如权利要求1-4任一项所述的液晶显示用电极作为条状电极,及与所述条状电极绝缘相对设置的板状电极。
6.一种显示面板,其特征在于,包括如权利要求5所述的阵列基板及液晶层;所述阵列基板的条状电极和板状电极之间产生电场用于对液晶层的液晶分子的偏转进行控制。
7.一种显示装置,其特征在于,包括如权利要求6所述的显示面板。
