Description

Address resource release method, device and system
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to an address resource release method, device and system.
Background
In a wireless network, after User Equipment (UE) is authenticated, a Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP) message may be sent to a DHCP server in two ways, one is local forwarding and the other is centralized forwarding. In the local forwarding, the DHCP message sent by the UE is directly forwarded to the DHCP server by a wireless Access Point (AP); in the centralized forwarding, the DHCP message sent by the UE is sent to a controller (english: controller) by the wireless AP, and then forwarded to the DHCP server by the controller.
After the UE is authenticated, the DHCP server allocates an Internet Protocol (IP) address to the UE, and determines a lease duration. The IP address is only available to the UE until the lease arrives, i.e., other UEs cannot use the IP address before the lease arrives regardless of whether the UE uses the IP address or not. Because the number of the IP addresses that can be allocated by the DHCP server is limited, after the IP addresses on the DHCP server are allocated, if a new UE comes online, the UE cannot obtain the IP addresses so as to be unable to access the network, but some IP addresses already allocated to the UE are not used, and only the lease period of the IP addresses does not reach, so as to cause waste of IP address resources.

Detailed description of the invention
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be described clearly below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
The invention discloses an address resource release method, device and system, which are used for saving address resources. The following are detailed below.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a flowchart illustrating an address resource releasing method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 1, the address resource release method may include the following steps.
S101, the AP acquires an offline message aiming at the UE, wherein the offline message carries a hardware address of the UE.
When the UE actively goes offline, the offline message of the UE is sent to the AP by the UE; when the administrator makes the UE offline, the charge of the UE is used up and the like, the offline message of the UE is sent to the AP by the controller. Wherein, the offline message sent to the AP carries the hardware address of the UE. In a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) supporting 802.11, Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), a hardware address of a UE is a Media Access Control (MAC) address.
S102, when the AP is the authentication AP of the UE, the AP sends a DHCP release message to a DHCP server to trigger the DHCP server to release the association between the IP address of the UE and the UE, wherein the DHCP release message comprises the hardware address of the UE.
Optionally, after obtaining the offline message of the UE, the AP determines that the AP is not the same AP as the authentication AP of the UE. If the AP is the authentication AP of the UE, the fact that the UE does not roam after being authenticated and on line is indicated, namely the UE always accesses the network through the AP, the AP generates a DHCP release (English: DHCP RELEASE) message of the UE and sends the DHCP release message to a DHCP server so as to trigger the DHCP server to release the association between the IP address of the UE and the UE according to the DHCP release message of the UE.
Correspondingly, if the AP is not the authentication AP of the UE, the AP indicates that the UE roams from the authentication AP of the UE to the AP after being authenticated and on line, the AP sends a DHCP release message generation request to the controller, the controller sends indication information to the authentication AP of the UE so as to trigger the authentication AP of the UE to generate a DHCP release message, and the authentication AP of the UE sends the DHCP release message to the DHCP server. The indication information comprises a hardware address of the UE, and the authentication AP of the UE carries the hardware address of the UE in a DHCP release message sent by the authentication AP according to the hardware address of the UE in the indication information.
In the address resource release method described in fig. 1, after acquiring the offline message for the UE, the AP sends a DHCP release message to the DHCP server when the AP is an authenticated AP of the UE, so as to trigger the DHCP server to release the association between the IP address of the UE and the UE. In the embodiment of the invention, after the UE is offline, the DHCP server releases the IP address allocated to the UE, the IP address is changed into an unallocated IP address, and when a new UE applies for the IP address, the DHCP server allocates the IP address to the new UE, so that the address resource can be saved.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating another address resource releasing method according to an embodiment of the present invention. As shown in fig. 2, the address resource release method may include the following steps.
S201, the AP forwards an IP address acquisition request of the UE to a DHCP server to trigger the DHCP server to allocate an IP address to the UE, wherein the IP address acquisition request carries a hardware address of the UE.
Optionally, when the AP receives an authentication request sent by the UE, it indicates that the UE needs to access the network, so that an IP address acquisition request is sent to the DHCP server to trigger the DHCP server to allocate an IP address to the UE, and send the allocated IP address to the AP. The IP address acquisition request carries the hardware address of the UE, so that the DHCP server can allocate the IP address to the UE.
As a possible implementation manner, the AP acquires an IP address allocated by the DHCP server for the UE, and generates a DHCP entry of the UE.
After forwarding the IP address acquisition request to the DHCP server, the AP receives an IP address allocation response sent by the DHCP server, wherein the IP address allocation response comprises the IP address of the UE. And then the AP generates a DHCP table item of the UE, wherein the DHCP table item of the UE comprises the mapping between the IP address and the hardware address of the UE.
S202, the AP acquires an offline message aiming at the UE, and the offline message carries the hardware address of the UE.
As a possible implementation manner, the AP acquiring the offline message for the UE may be that the AP receives the offline message sent by the UE, where the offline message carries a hardware address of the UE; the AP may also receive an offline message for the UE sent by the controller, where the offline message carries a hardware address of the UE and an offline reason of the UE.
Optionally, when the UE actively goes offline, the offline message of the UE is sent to the AP by the UE; when the administrator makes the UE offline, the charge of the UE is used up and the like, the offline message of the UE is sent to the AP by the controller.
Since the AP sends the DHCP release message to the DHCP server, the DHCP release message may pass through other devices. If the devices use DHCP snooping, the DHCP snooping will monitor whether the port sending the DHCP release message is consistent with the port in the DHCPsnooping table, if not, it indicates that the message is illegal, and discards the message. Therefore, in order to make the forwarding path of the DHCP release message consistent with the path of the DHCP message in the IP address allocation process, after receiving the offline message sent by the UE, the AP first needs to determine whether the AP is an authentication AP of the UE.
As a possible implementation manner, when the AP receives the offline message sent by the UE, the AP determining whether the AP is an authenticated AP of the UE may include the following steps.
A1, the AP sends a roaming information acquisition request aiming at the UE to the controller so as to trigger the controller to judge whether the AP is an authentication AP of the UE or not, and sends the judgment result to the AP.
Because the offline message is sent to the AP by the UE, if the AP does not store information on whether the AP is an authentication AP for the UE, the AP sends a roaming information acquisition request for the UE to the controller to trigger the controller to determine whether the AP is an authentication AP for the UE, and sends the determination result to the AP.
A2, the AP receives the determination result transmitted by the controller.
After the AP sends a roaming information acquisition request aiming at the UE to the controller, the AP receives a judgment result sent by the controller and identifies whether the judgment result is that the AP is an authentication AP of the UE.
As a possible implementation manner, when the AP receives the offline message for the UE sent by the controller, the AP will determine whether the AP is an authentication AP for the UE according to the offline reason of the UE.
Optionally, when the offline message is sent to the AP by the controller, the offline message carries an offline reason of the UE. The off-line reasons of the UE comprise direct off-line and roaming off-line, wherein the direct off-line means that the UE accesses the network through the AP from authentication to off-line, namely the AP is the authentication AP of the UE; the roaming offline is that the authentication AP performs authentication when the UE is authenticated, and before the offline, the UE does not access the network through the authentication AP but accesses the network through the AP, namely the UE roams from the authentication AP to the offline after the AP. Therefore, whether the AP is the authentication AP of the UE can be judged according to the offline reason of the UE.
If the offline message sent by the controller and addressed to the UE and received by the AP has no reason for the offline, it may be determined whether the AP is an authentication AP for the UE in the same manner as when the AP receives the offline message sent by the UE.
S203, when the AP is the authentication AP of the UE, the AP sends a DHCP release message to the DHCP server to trigger the DHCP server to release the association between the IP address of the UE and the UE, wherein the DHCP release message comprises the hardware address of the UE.
As a possible implementation manner, if the AP is not the authentication AP of the UE, the AP sends a DHCP release message generation request to the controller, the controller sends indication information to the authentication AP of the UE to trigger the authentication AP of the UE to generate a DHCP release message, and the authentication AP of the UE sends the DHCP release message to the DHCP server, where the indication information includes a hardware address of the UE.
Optionally, if the AP is not the authentication AP of the UE, it indicates that the UE roams from the authentication AP of the UE to the AP after being authenticated online, and in order to avoid discarding the generated DHCP release message, the authentication AP needs to be notified to generate the DHCP release message. The AP cannot directly send a DHCP release message generation request to the authentication AP of the UE, so that the AP firstly sends the DHCP release message generation request to the controller, the controller sends indication information to the authentication AP of the UE according to the DHCP release message generation request to trigger the authentication AP of the UE to generate the DHCP release message, and the authentication AP of the UE sends the DHCP release message to the DHCP server to trigger the DHCP server to release the association between the IP address of the UE and the UE. The indication information carries the hardware address of the UE, and the authentication AP carries the hardware address of the UE in a DHCP release message sent by the authentication AP according to the hardware address of the UE in the indication information.
Optionally, when the AP stores a DHCP entry of the UE, the DHCP release message is generated according to the DHCP entry of the UE, and the DHCP release message includes a hardware address and an IP address of the UE.
Optionally, after the AP sends a DHCP release message generation request to the controller, the AP will clear the stored DHCP entry of the UE.
In the address resource release method described in fig. 2, the AP forwards an IP address acquisition request of the UE to the DHCP server to trigger the DHCP server to allocate an IP address to the UE, acquire an offline message for the UE, determine whether the AP is an authentication AP for the UE, and send a DHCP release message to the DHCP server to trigger the DHCP server to release association between the IP address of the UE and the UE when the AP is the authentication AP for the UE.
