Abstract

Description
技术领域
本发明涉及一种B柱(中立柱),其由金属板坯件形成帽形构件,所述帽形构件具有中间凸缘、两个侧边以及两个侧凸缘,所述B柱在其部分的长度上具有加强板使其形成双层金属板的B柱。
背景技术
EP0953495示出了这种类型的B柱。
WO2008/024042示出由坯件形成的B柱,所述坯件由焊接在一起具有重叠部分并且通过模压淬火(press hardening)成型和硬化的两部分构成。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于获得具有良好碰撞性能和更轻重量的B柱。当加强板沿侧凸缘延伸出至少其长度的1/4并且在其两端上变窄使其在部分的长度上不延伸出侧凸缘时,本发明的目的得以实现。

具体实施方式
附图示出了B柱的载荷接收单元11,即,实际的B柱。所述B柱由具有中间凸缘12、两个肋状物13、14以及两个侧凸缘15、16的帽形构件组成。所述构件的端部加宽至两个紧固部件17、18,其中上部紧固件17适用于焊接至纵向延伸的顶梁而下部的紧固部件18适用于焊接至纵向延伸的底梁。通常,但并非必需,侧凸缘处焊接有盖子。而且,车辆的外侧板焊接至凸缘的另一侧。
B柱从平面金属板坯件通过模压淬火技术加热成型并且硬化,即,平面金属板坯件被加热至奥氏温度然后在冷却工具对(tool pair)中成型,允许在冷却工具对中成型的产品与作为固定装置的工具一起平放并且硬化。所述平面坯件包括具有通常设计为“补丁”的加强板21的金属板20。两个金属板焊接在一起,例如,通过分布在整个表面的点然后成型硬化在一起。所述加强板21在其一半或者更长的长度或者至少四分之一或者更长的长度上延伸坯件的整个宽度并且两端都变窄。制成的B柱因此在侧凸缘的部分上形成双层金属板但是加强板变窄使得其端部仅仅覆盖中间凸缘。从坯件的边缘开始变窄的部分总共占据了加强板长度的至少三分之一。加强板21的边缘在成型和硬化之前或者之后缝合焊接,如图3中的23所示,至少在边缘的部分与金属板20的边缘重合。
坯件上设有孔24用于紧固上部的门铰链,其中加强板覆盖坯件的整个宽度。在坯件的下端设有孔25用于紧固下面的门铰链,其中加强板仅覆盖了中间凸缘。还设有孔26用于电缆的延伸通过并且还可能设有其它的孔。因此在未硬化的金属板上设有孔但在制成品上有些孔可以用激光切割。加强板可以具有凹处或孔用于减轻自身重量并且这些孔或凹处之后会被改进以给予B柱所要求的变形特性。
Claims (8)
1.一种B柱,所述B柱由金属板坯件(20,21)形成具有中间凸缘(12)、两个侧边(13,14)以及两个侧凸缘(15,16)的帽形构件,并且所述B柱具有覆盖其一部分长度形成双层金属板B柱的加强板(21),
其特征在于
所述加强板(21)沿侧凸缘(15,16)在至少1/4的长度上延伸并且在两端均变窄使得其在部分的长度上不延伸到侧凸缘上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的B柱,其特征在于所述加强板(21)至少在其一半的长度上延伸到侧凸缘(15,16)上。
3.根据权利要求1或2所述的B柱,其特征在于所述加强板(21)在两个方向在一长度上从侧凸缘的边缘开始变窄,所述长度一共要有加强板长度的至少1/3的长度。
4.根据权利要求1所述的B柱,其特征在于具有用于上部门铰链的紧固孔(24),所述紧固孔(24)位于帽形构件中加强板延伸到侧凸缘上的部分。
5.根据权利要求1或2所述的B柱,其特征在于具有用于下部门铰链的紧固孔(26),所述紧固孔(26)位于加强板不延伸到侧凸缘上的部分。
6.根据前述权利要求中的任意一项所述的B柱,其特征在于加强板(21)的末端仅覆盖中间凸缘(12)。
7.用于制造根据前述权利要求中的任意一项所述的B柱的方法,所述方法通过在平面金属板上形成坯件,将坯件和加强板(21)放在一起并且迅速焊接该加强板,
其特征在于所述加强板(21)是有选择的,该加强板(21)至少1/4的长度上覆盖了所述坯件的全部宽度并且其两端从坯件的边缘开始变窄,两端一起覆盖坯件长度的至少1/3。
8.根据权利要求7所述的方法,其特征在于所述坯件被加热至奥氏温度然后在冷却工具对中成型并且允许已经成型的产品在成型工具对中硬化。
