With the widespread use of second generation (2G for short), third generation (3G) cellular wireless networks and wireless local area networks (WLAN for short) worldwide, the next generation wireless networks will be access networks with different application backgrounds, targets, development directions, system structures, coverage areas, communication protocols, link characteristics, application scenarios, service providing capabilities, and the like, and heterogeneous networks with various new access network technologies coexisting in the future due to new requirements.
In order to merge various radio access networks together to provide seamless service for users, the third generation partnership project (3 GPP for short) proposes a scheme supporting a non-3 GPP access mode to access an EPC core network at stage R8, that is, multiple radio access technologies should be supported to access a unified core network, and seamless roaming and handover between them are supported, so as to ensure service continuity. According to the division of 3GPP, the access of GSM/GPRS, WCDMA/TDSCDMA and LTE to an EPC core network is called a 3GPP access mode; the non-3 GPP access schemes mainly include access types such as IEEE802.11 (WLAN), IEEE802.16 (WiMAX), and CDMA. In order to enable the terminal to obtain related information of various Access networks (3 GPP Access Network and non-3 GPP Access Network) in advance before handover, so that the terminal can perform Network Discovery and Selection in advance to reduce handover delay, the EPC introduces an Access Network Discovery and Selection Function (ANDSF for short) in the core Network.
A trigger mechanism for discovering ANDSF by a User Equipment (UE) generally discovers ANDSF when a cell is switched by a cellular network of the UE, and queries a non-3 GPP access network in the area. However, non-3 GPP networks, especially WLANs, mostly cover urban areas with dense population, and base stations in dense population areas mainly include types with smaller coverage areas such as micro cells (microcells) and pico cells (picocells), and often there are multiple cells in the coverage area of the WLAN to which the UE desires to handover. Therefore, when the UE is switched over in a cell, the ANDSF is triggered and inquired too frequently, the possibility of untimely switching exists, and the user experience of network switching of the UE is reduced.
Aiming at the problem caused by the fact that user equipment queries ANDSF too frequently during cell switching in the related technology, a good solution is not provided at present.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention provides a handover processing method, an access network information processing method, user equipment and an access network discovery and selection function, which are used for at least solving the problem caused by the fact that the user equipment queries ANDSF too frequently during cell handover in the related technology.
According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a handover processing method, in which a user equipment searches for locally stored information, where the locally stored information includes: one or more access network information; and the user equipment initiates switching to the access network corresponding to the access network information according to the searched access network information.

The preferred embodiment provides a method for triggering discovery of ANDSF by a UE when a cellular network LAC is handed over, and triggering a handover of the UE network from a cellular packet network to a non-3 GPP access network (especially WLAN) through a cell set and a non-3 GPP access network mapping table, so as to improve timeliness and availability of network offloading performed by the UE through the ANDSF. A session protocol processing module: mainly used for the secure transmission of data with the session protocol (OMA DM protocol is taken as an example in the invention) processing module of the ANDSF server. And when the network distribution module triggers the database to be updated, carrying out the safe communication of the S14 interface with the session protocol processing module of the ANDSF server.
With reference to fig. 5, the ANDSF in the preferred embodiment needs to add an information analysis module and improve the original session protocol processing module and database module to implement the functions of the preferred embodiment.

10. The UE of claim 7 or 8, wherein the access network is a WLAN, and wherein the access network information is an identifier of the WLAN.
11. An access network discovery and selection function, comprising:
a receiving module, configured to receive a request message from a user equipment, where the request message carries identification information of a geographical range to which a geographical location of the user equipment belongs;
a sending module, configured to send, to the user equipment, one or more pieces of access network information within a geographic range corresponding to the identification information, so as to instruct the user equipment to store the one or more pieces of access network information locally, and when handover processing needs to be performed, search from the locally stored access network information, and initiate access network handover to the access network corresponding to the access network information according to the searched access network information; when the user equipment moves within the geographic range, the user equipment does not acquire the information of the access network from the access network discovery and selection function any more;
the geographical range of the geographical position of the user equipment is a geographical range corresponding to a location area code LAC of the geographical position of the user equipment;
in a case that the locally stored access network information further includes the one or more access network information and a cell set mapping relationship, the searching, by the user equipment, from the locally stored access network information includes: and when the user equipment is switched in the cell, searching access network information corresponding to the cell set according to the cell set in which the switched source cell and/or target cell are located.
12. The access network discovery and selection function of claim 11 wherein said identification information is said LAC.
