Description

Door for a refrigeration device and refrigeration device
[ technical field ]
The present invention relates to a door for a refrigerator and a refrigerator, and more particularly, to a door for a refrigerator including a door body and a decorative strip attached to the door body, and a refrigerator having the same.
[ background art ]
CN201203325Y discloses a refrigerator door with a decorative strip, which is connected to the edge of the refrigerator door. The trim strip extends substantially from the upper end to the lower end of the refrigerator door.
Due to the objective presence of manufacturing tolerances, the trim strip may extend beyond the end of the door body and/or may have a large gap with the end of the refrigerator door after being attached to the door body. This not only increases the difficulty of assembling the refrigerator door but also causes a defect in the appearance of the refrigerator door.
[ summary of the invention ]
The present invention is directed to solving at least one of the above-mentioned problems, and to providing a door for a refrigeration appliance, which is easy to assemble and can reduce appearance defects, and a refrigeration appliance having the same.
The above object is achieved by the features of the independent claims. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the figures, the description and the dependent claims.
One aspect of the invention relates to a door for a refrigeration appliance, comprising a door body and at least one decorative strip connected to the door body; the door body comprises a front plate, a door liner, a pair of side plates, an upper end cover, a lower end cover and a heat insulation space enclosed by the front plate, the door liner, the pair of side plates, the upper end cover and the lower end cover; the decorative strips are connected to the corresponding side plates; characterized in that one of the upper end cover and the lower end cover comprises a stop portion protruding from the side plate in the transverse direction, a distal end surface of one end of the decorative strip abuts against the stop portion, and the other end of the decorative strip covers at least part of a side end surface of the other of the upper end cover and the lower end cover when viewed in the transverse direction.
Therefore, when the decorative strip is connected to the door body, one end of the decorative strip can be stopped/positioned through the stopping part, and meanwhile, the length of the decorative strip can be properly increased during design, so that the other end of the decorative strip covers at least one part of the corresponding side end face of the other end cover, therefore, the assembly difficulty of the decorative strip is conveniently reduced, the technical problem that gaps are formed between the two ends of the decorative strip and the end covers is favorably solved, the appearance quality of the door is favorably improved, and the decorative strip can be realized on the premise that the requirement of manufacturing tolerance is not increased.
It should be understood that the refrigerator appliance of the present invention may include an electric appliance such as a refrigerator, a wine chest, a freezer, etc. for storing an article to be cooled.
The decorative strip may cover the entire or at least a part of the wall thickness of the lateral end face in the longitudinal direction.
In the case of an embodiment in which the decorative strip covers the entire width of the side plate, the stop can be provided over the entire width of the respective end cap, and in the case of an embodiment in which the decorative strip covers only a partial width of the side plate, the stop is correspondingly provided only in the respective width range of the respective end cap.
The decorative strip can only partially or completely cover the side panel, and can also partially or completely cover the side panel and at least partially cover the front panel.
The front plate and the side plates can be integrally formed, for example, the front plate and the side plates are integrally formed by sheet metal parts; the front and side panels may also be separately manufactured (e.g., from different materials and/or manufactured by different processes) and then assembled together.
The door body can comprise an insulating foaming layer positioned in the insulating space, and can also comprise inert gas filled in the insulating space, and the insulating space can also be vacuum.
The decorative strip can be adhered or clamped on the door body, and can also be fixed on the door body through fixing pieces such as screws and the like.
In one possible embodiment, the stopper portion may be provided on the upper end cover, and a lower end of the decorative strip covers the at least part of the side end surface as viewed in the lateral direction. Thus, even if the lower end of the trim strip is not aligned with the bottom surface of the lower end cap due to manufacturing tolerances, it has a limited effect on the appearance of the door.
In one possible embodiment, at least part of the side end face of the other of the upper end cover and the lower end cover is approximately flush with the corresponding side plate or protrudes out of the side plate for adhering the decorative strip to the thickness of the adhesive strip of the side plate.
In one possible embodiment, the door may comprise a sheet metal door panel comprising said front panel and said side panels bent back from the longitudinal sides of said front panel.
In one possible embodiment, the side panel includes a handle portion and a rear side panel portion connected to a rear side of the handle portion, and the decorative strip is connected to the handle portion.
In one possible embodiment, the stop is part of a base wall of the upper or lower end cap, the stop having a reduced wall thickness compared to a main body portion of the base wall. This is advantageous in that the coverage of the trim strip in the longitudinal direction is increased, so that the appearance of the door can be improved.
In one possible embodiment, a trim panel is included that is adhered to the front side of the front panel, the trim strip being located entirely behind the trim panel.
In one possible embodiment, a trim panel is included that is attached to the front panel, the trim strip being located entirely behind the trim panel.
