The horizontal vent outlet 352 exits the odor eliminator device 351 and enters a hole in the bathroom wall, as shown in the exemplary illustration 400 in FIG. 7 . Ventilation occurs through additional ducts in the bathroom wall, or directly to the outside environment.

The odor eliminator system saves energy when operating on the automatic sensor because the automatic sensor is only turned on when the toilet is in use and for a period of time after the toilet is used based on the programmed operating time.
