WO2005/090883 discloses a wine rack for a refrigerator (also referred to as a bottle rack) comprising a receiving casing forming at least one longitudinal groove for receiving a bottle. One end of the wine rack is detachably inserted on the frame of the storage shelf, the wine rack is provided with supporting legs which extend downwards from the lower surface of the containing shell, and the supporting legs are supported on the storage shelf.
When one rack is stacked on another rack, the support legs of the upper rack are supported on the inner surface of the arc-shaped receiving case of the lower rack, which prevents the stacked racks from stably storing any wine bottles. When the refrigerator is provided with a plurality of wine racks and a user only needs to use one or a plurality of wine racks, the idle wine racks cause waste of the using space of the refrigerator if being placed in the refrigerator.

The present invention has been made to overcome at least one of the above-mentioned problems, and in particular, to provide a refrigerator which is advantageous in increasing a usage rate of air.
The above object is achieved by the features of the independent claims. Preferred embodiments of the invention are the subject of the figures, the description and the dependent claims.
Accordingly, one aspect of the present invention is a refrigerator comprising a support plate and a plurality of wine racks, each of which includes a receiving case having a longitudinal groove for receiving a bottle and supporting legs extending downward from the receiving case and supported on the support plate; characterized in that at least one of the wine racks comprises an accommodating space extending downwards from the upper surface of the accommodating shell to at least partially receive a supporting foot of another wine rack of the plurality of wine racks stacked on the at least one wine rack.
The supporting legs of the wine rack stacked above can be at least partially inserted into the accommodating space extending downwards from the upper surface of the accommodating shell, so that the wine rack can be stably supported above the wine rack with the accommodating space, a user can longitudinally store wine bottles in the grooves of the wine rack stacked above, the user can flexibly use the wine rack, the space utilization rate of the refrigerator can be improved, and for example, when only some wine racks are used for storing wine, some wine racks can be stacked to save space.
It will be appreciated that in embodiments of the invention only one or some of the plurality of wine racks may have receiving spaces for receiving the supporting feet of any or a particular remaining wine rack, and it will be appreciated that each wine rack may also be provided with receiving spaces adapted to receive the supporting feet of any remaining wine rack, for example when all wine racks are of the same configuration and size, any two wine racks may be stacked as desired by the user.
It should be understood that in embodiments of the present invention, each wine rack may have one or more grooves for receiving wine bottles, respectively. Each rack may have the same number of grooves or a different number of grooves, for example one or some racks may have one groove, while other racks may have two or more grooves.
Further, the term "plurality of wine racks" as used herein shall encompass two or more wine racks.
In one possible embodiment, the receiving space may include a through hole penetrating the receiving case. In an alternative embodiment, the receiving space may also be formed by a downwardly recessed recess of the receiving shell.
In one possible embodiment, the supporting feet of the at least one wine rack are arranged around the accommodating space.
In a possible embodiment, the supporting feet of the at least one wine rack define at least part of the boundary of the accommodating space.
In a possible embodiment, the accommodating space is located in the corresponding supporting foot. This provides the possibility of forming the receiving space and the supporting angle simultaneously by a simple manufacturing process and/or a mold, and is advantageous in avoiding significant complication of the wine rack.
In one possible embodiment, the accommodating space of the at least one wine rack and the supporting foot of the other wine rack are arranged in a shape matching manner. This facilitates the stable support of the overlying wine rack on the underlying wine rack.
In one possible embodiment, the accommodating space is gradually contracted in a direction from top to bottom. The upper wine rack can be inserted into the containing space of the lower wine rack, and the supporting legs of the upper wine rack can be supported on the inner wall of the containing space.
In one possible embodiment, the plurality of wine racks have the same shape and size.
In a possible embodiment, each wine rack comprises a connecting part which is detachably inserted into a frame connected to the edge of the supporting plate, and in the overlapped state, the connecting parts of the upper wine rack and the lower wine rack are inserted into the frames.
In a possible embodiment, in the stacked state, the receiving shell of another rack of the plurality of racks and the opposite upper edge area of the receiving shell of the at least one rack are in surface contact. This is particularly advantageous in preventing the stacked wine racks from shaking, thereby improving the stability of the stacked wine racks.
In a possible embodiment, the support feet of another rack of the plurality of racks are supported in a positive fit in the support feet of the at least one rack in the stacked state. This is advantageous in preventing the stacked wine racks from shaking, thereby improving the stability of the stacked wine racks.

[ detailed description of the invention ]
Fig. 1 shows a schematic perspective view of a combination of a rack and a wine rack for a refrigerator according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention. Referring to fig. 1, a shelf 1 is adapted to be installed in a storage compartment of a refrigerator (not shown) for storing food to be cooled. A plurality of wine racks are supported on the shelf 1. In fig. 1, four wine racks are supported on the rack 1, but only two of the racks 2, 3 are indicated.
The shelf 1 comprises a horizontal support plate 11 and a rim 12 attached to the edge of the support plate 11. In this embodiment the frame 12 is arranged along four edges of the support plate 11, in an alternative embodiment the frame 12 may also be arranged along parts of the edges of the support plate 1, for example along the rear and front edges of the support plate 11. The frame 12 includes a protruding plate 13 extending vertically upward at a portion disposed along the rear edge of the support plate 11.
Referring to fig. 1 and 2, each rack 2, 3 is made separately and has the same shape and size. Each wine rack 2, 3 comprises a receiving shell 21, 31 having a longitudinal groove 22, 32 for receiving a wine bottle and supporting feet 23, 33 extending downwardly from the receiving shell 21, 31 for supporting on the support plate 11. The support feet 23, 33 may extend downwardly from the lower surface 24, 34 of the receiving shell 21, 31.
The rear end of each rack 2, 3 has a connector 27, 37 for mating with the rim 12. In this embodiment, the connecting portions 27, 37 are formed by arc-shaped elongated holes extending in the circumferential direction of the receiving shells 21, 31 and penetrating the receiving shells 21, 31. The protruding plate 13 is inserted into the elongated hole to assemble the wine rack 2, 3 on the shelf 1. In this embodiment, the wine racks 2, 3 are slidable left and right along the ledge 13, but the movement of the wine racks 2, 3 in the fore and aft direction is limited.
By inserting the wine racks 2, 3 on the rim 12 and supporting the feet 23, 33 on the support plate 11, the respective wine racks 2, 3 can be stably mounted on the shelf 1 to hold wine bottles.
Referring to fig. 1 to 4, in order to allow the wine racks 2, 3 to stack in the longitudinal direction and stably hold the wine bottles, each wine rack 2, 3 includes a receiving space 25, 35 extending downward from the upper surface 26, 36 of the receiving case 21, 31.
The receiving spaces 25, 35 include through holes 28, 38 penetrating the receiving cases 21, 31. The supporting legs 23, 33 of the wine racks 2, 3 are arranged along the accommodating spaces 25, 35. In this embodiment, the support legs 23, 33 are hollow so as to locate the receiving spaces 25, 35 within the respective support legs 23, 33, i.e. the receiving spaces 25, 35 are bounded by the support legs 23, 33.
The support legs 23, 33 and the receiving spaces 25, 35 located therein are gradually contracted in the top-down direction. In the present embodiment, the support legs 25, 35 are hollow and have a truncated-cone shape.
Preferably, the receiving space 25, 35 of each rack 2, 3 is arranged in a form-fitting manner with the support feet 33, 23 of the other rack 3, 2. In the present embodiment, the accommodating spaces 25 and 35 are also in the shape of a truncated cone.
As shown in fig. 4, the receiving space 25 of the lower rack 2 is adapted to at least partially receive the supporting feet 33 of the upper rack 3 when one rack 3 is stacked on another rack 2. And vice versa.
In the stacked state, the supporting feet 33 of the wine rack 3 lying above are supported with a form fit inside the supporting feet 23 of the wine rack 2 lying below. Preferably, the receiving shell 31 of the wine rack 3 located above and the opposite upper edge area 29 of the receiving shell 21 of the wine rack 2 located below are in surface contact. When stacked, the connecting portions 27, 37 of both wine racks 2, 3 may be plugged into the rim 12.
Since the two wine racks 2, 3 can be stably stacked together, the wine rack 3 located above can hold wine bottles.
The various embodiments of the individual components described in connection with fig. 1 to 4 may be combined with each other in any given way to achieve the advantages of the invention. In addition, the present invention is not limited to the illustrated embodiments, and other means than those shown may be generally used as long as the same effects are obtained.
Claims (16)
1. A refrigerator, comprising:
a support plate (11); and
a plurality of wine racks (2, 3), each wine rack (2, 3) comprising a receiving housing (21, 31) with a longitudinal groove (22, 32) for receiving a bottle and supporting feet (23, 33) extending downwards from the receiving housing (21, 31) and supported on the support plate (11);
characterized in that at least one (2, 3) of said wine racks (2, 3) comprises an accommodation space (25, 35) communicating with said longitudinal groove, extending downwards from an upper surface (26, 36) of said housing shell (21, 31) to receive a supporting foot (33, 23) of another (3, 2) of said plurality of wine racks (2, 3) stacked above said at least one wine rack (2, 3).
2. The refrigerator as claimed in claim 1, wherein the receiving space (25, 35) includes a through hole (28, 38) penetrating the receiving case (21, 31).
3. The refrigerator as claimed in claim 1, wherein the receiving space is formed by a recess depressed downward of the receiving case.
4. A refrigerator according to claim 1, characterized in that the supporting feet (23, 33) of said at least one wine rack (2, 3) are arranged along said accommodation space (25, 35).
5. A refrigerator as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that the supporting feet (23, 33) of said at least one wine rack (2, 3) delimit at least part of the boundary of said housing space (25, 35).
6. A refrigerator as claimed in claim 4, characterized in that said housing spaces (25, 35) are located in respective support feet (23, 33).
7. A refrigerator as claimed in any one of the foregoing claims, characterized in that the receiving space (25, 35) of the at least one wine rack (2, 3) and the supporting foot (33, 23) of the other wine rack (3, 2) are provided with a form fit.
8. The refrigerator of claim 1, wherein the accommodating space (25, 35) is gradually contracted in a direction from top to bottom.
9. The refrigerator of claim 1, wherein the plurality of wine racks have the same shape and size.
10. A refrigerator as claimed in claim 1, characterized in that each rack comprises a connecting portion (27, 37), said connecting portions (27, 37) being removably insertable into a rim (12) connected to the edge of said supporting plate (11), the connecting portions (27, 37) of the racks (2, 3) in the superimposed condition being inserted into said rim (12).
11. The refrigerator according to any one of claims 1 to 6, 8 to 10, characterized in that, in the stacked condition, the receiving shell (31, 21) of another rack (3, 2) of the plurality of racks and the opposite upper edge area (29) of the receiving shell (21, 31) of the at least one rack (2, 3) are in face contact.
12. A refrigerator according to claim 7, characterized in that in the stacked state the receiving shell (31, 21) of another rack (3, 2) of the plurality of racks is in surface contact with the opposite upper edge area (29) of the receiving shell (21, 31) of the at least one rack (2, 3).
13. The refrigerator according to any one of claims 1 to 6, 8 to 10, characterized in that the supporting feet (33, 23) of another rack (3, 2) of the plurality of racks are supported with a form fit inside the supporting feet (23, 33) of the at least one rack (2, 3) in the stacked condition.
14. A refrigerator according to claim 7, characterized in that the supporting feet (33, 23) of another rack (3, 2) of the plurality of racks are supported with a form fit inside the supporting feet (23, 33) of the at least one rack (2, 3) in the stacked condition.
15. A refrigerator according to claim 11, characterized in that the supporting feet (33, 23) of another rack (3, 2) of the plurality of racks are supported with a form fit inside the supporting feet (23, 33) of the at least one rack (2, 3) in the stacked condition.
16. A refrigerator according to claim 12, characterized in that the supporting feet (33, 23) of another rack (3, 2) of the plurality of racks are supported with a form fit inside the supporting feet (23, 33) of the at least one rack (2, 3) in the stacked condition.
