技术领域
本发明涉及形成彩色激光图像的方法。它尤其适用于身份证件的身份图像:身份证、信用卡、健康保险卡、护照、驾驶证、安全进入徽章等。
背景技术
专利WO 2011/124774A1描述了一种使用于身份证件的嵌入式潜像(latentimage)个性化的方法,所述身份证件包括嵌入透明保护层中的由像素矩阵组成的潜像,像素由彩色子像素构成。借助于穿过透明保护层作用的激光束,通过利用黑色非反射表面覆盖子像素来在子像素上生成灰度,从而生成最终彩色激光图像的灰度。这种处理方法用于使由彩色子像素构成的潜像个性化。
透过透明保护层通过反射来观察以这种方式个性化的图像。个性化的图像必须具有足够的反射性,以使得它能够在环境光中被观测,而无需附加光源。
专利申请No.11/00578描述了一种形成高度反射性激光图像的方法,所述高度反射性激光图像包括潜像,该潜像由被无色透明区域包围的彩色子像素组成并被覆盖在对激光辐射敏感的透明保护层(以下被称作“激光敏感(laserable)”层)中。激光束导致在此激光敏感保护层中出现非反射黑色表面,所述表面一定程度上覆盖彩色子像素的表面和无色表面以将灰度赋予个性化图像。通过下面的反射性子层(尤其是白色子层)上的反射或者透过清漆看到个性化图像,以便增加图像的反射率。图像反射率至关重要,因为它必须使得眼睛能够通过加性合成做出反应以将具有子像素的颜色的光束和来自无色区域的光束(通过入射光的背反射发射)集成。

发明内容

更精确地,本发明提供了一种从包括透明保护层、由彩色子像素和无色表面构成的印刷的潜像、潜像下面的激光敏感层、反射装置的组件和激光束形成个性化彩色激光图像的方法,所述激光束穿过保护层,穿过潜像的子像素和无色表面,并在激光敏感层中形成最终个性化图像的灰度,所述组件被层压在介质上。
借助于软件来计算导致潜像个性化以便形成最终图像的灰度,所述软件采集原始图像,将其分割成子像素,计算对应色泽(color shade),并确定在潜像的彩色子像素和无色区域下面的激光敏感层中将要碳化的灰度,以便获得与原始图像相同的色泽。
通过利用本领域技术人员已知的线性化软件与激光所沉积的能量成比例地进行一定程度的黑化,并且还通过改变碳化的区域,来获得个性化图像的灰度。
另外,根据激光束所穿过的子像素的颜色和无色区域来调节激光束的能量,因为需要根据子像素的颜色和无色区域的透明度来调节所需的激光能量。
作为非限制性示例,通过在激光束的影响下被碳化而形成个性化图像的灰度的激光敏感材料可由聚碳酸酯、特定的经处理的聚氯乙烯、经处理的丙烯腈-丁二烯-苯乙烯或经处理的聚对苯二甲酸乙二醇酯构成。
在本发明的具体实现方式中:
·身份证件的介质是白色的,并进行表面涂布以对激光辐射敏感,以便于形成个性化图像的灰度,由彩色子像素和无色区域构成的潜像被印刷在该表面上;
·潜像的彩色子像素被印刷在保护层的要被层压在激光敏感层上的表面上;
·激光敏感层是透明的。激光敏感层被层压到反射表面上,该反射表面可有利地由白颜色的证件的主体构成;
·证件的主体是透明的;并且
·在层压期间保护层被热压以形成透镜阵列。
激光敏感层的厚度或者证件介质的涂布部分的厚度应该尽可能薄,同时与所需的灰度相容。该厚度可有利地在几微米至大约几百微米的范围内。
通过胶印、喷墨印刷或者本领域技术人员已知的任何其它技术来印刷彩色子像素。无色区域或无色子像素用于增加最终图像的反射率。彩色子像素和无色区域被安排在平行列中或者均匀分布的小区域中。潜像可由三元组(triplet)或四元组(quadruplet)的彩色子像素构成。子像素的颜色优选地选自独立的颜色,即,将它们中的任两个混合无法形成第三子像素颜色。这些颜色包括红色、绿色和蓝色或者黄色、品红和青色。
在被称作“层压”的第二加工步骤中,保护层和激光敏感材料层在压力下通过热结合到身份证件的主体上,从而在保护层与激光敏感材料层之间嵌入彩色子像素和无色区域的矩阵。

本发明还提供了一种包括通过执行上述方法而形成的个性化激光图像的证件。
该证件包括透明保护片、由彩色子像素的阵列和无色区域的阵列构成的潜像、位于潜像下面的激光敏感材料层、以及证件介质,所述片通过激光辐射而至少部分地碳化。保护片、潜像、激光敏感层和所述介质适合于被层压在一起。

7.根据权利要求6所述的证件,其中,在所述保护层(4)的表面上形成透镜阵列(9)。
8.根据权利要求6所述的证件,其中,所述证件主体(1)是白色的。
