技术领域
本发明涉及一种化工合成材料,具体涉及一种阻燃HIPS树脂及其制备方法。
背景技术
随着合成材料在各个领域的应用越来越广泛,对材料的阻燃性能要求也越来越高。近年来,许多国家都对各种材料和制品制定了相应的阻燃要求,以确保国家和人民的生命财产安全。高抗冲聚苯乙烯(HIPS)是最重要的通用塑料之一,具有优良的加工性能、力学性能和电气特性,并且尺寸稳定、成型制品外观良好、价格低廉,因而广泛用于家用电器、办公设备、仪器仪表、汽车零部件、日用器具及包装材料等。但是HIPS遇火容易燃烧,为了拓宽其应用范围,必须进行阻燃改性。
在众多的阻燃剂中,反应型阻燃剂虽然热稳定性好、毒性低且对高聚物的其它性能影响较小,但其工艺复杂、成本较高;有机添加型阻燃剂往往又会带来阻燃制品的发烟、毒气释放等影响环境和使用安全性问题;无机添加型阻燃剂虽然相比之下存在一定的不足,但其具有热稳定性好、毒性低甚至无毒、不产生腐蚀气体、储存过程中不挥发、不易析出、阻燃效果持久等优点,并且原料来源丰富、价格低廉,在解决大量易燃高聚物的阻燃及低烟、低毒问题上,仍然是一种既简单而又富有实效的方法。
目前,常用的HIPS阻燃改性的方法是用溴类阻燃剂和三氧化二锑按一定比例复配。但当这种防火剂添加量达到20%以后,HIPS的物理性能将受到严重影响,如抗冲击强度剧烈下降,必须再添加一定量的增韧剂进行增韧改性后才能恢复材料原来的物理性能。要想达到防火性能1/12"达到UL94V0要求、1/10"达到5VA要求,必须向HIPS材料中添加大量的防火剂和增韧剂,这样不仅制备的阻燃HIPS材料成本高,物理性能差,与同类产品缺少竞争优势。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于克服现有技术的缺陷而提供一种高性能和高性价比的阻燃HIPS树脂及其制备方法,本发明阻燃HIPS树脂取材方便,成本低,产品白度高,阻燃性和物性好,可广泛家用电器、办公设备和仪器仪表等对材料阻燃性能有较高要求的场合。本发明阻燃HIPS树脂的制备方法,工艺简单,加工效率高,取材方便,成本低。
实现本发明的目的一种技术方案是:一种阻燃HIPS树脂,包括以下按重量份配比的各个成分:
HIPS树脂40-60%,
纳米级高岭土10-15%,
溴氮类阻燃剂10-15%,
三氧化二锑10-13%,
增韧剂9-16%,
抗氧剂0.6-1%。
上述的阻燃HIPS树脂,其中,所述纳米级高岭土含有二氧化硅、三氧化二铝、三氧化二铁、氧化镁及二氧化锑。
上述的阻燃HIPS树脂,其中,所述增韧剂为苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物。
上述的阻燃HIPS树脂,其中,所述抗氧剂为酚类抗氧剂1010和磷酸酯类抗氧剂168的混合物。
实现本发明的目的另一种技术方案是:一种阻燃HIPS树脂的制备方法,包括以下步骤:先将纳米级高岭土烘干,使纳米级高岭土水分含量在0.05%以内,接着放入高速混合机内加温搅拌,当温度升到80℃时,加入螯合型塑料助剂进行亲和改性,再将亲和改性后的纳米级高岭土及HIPS树脂、溴氮类阻燃剂、三氧化二锑、增韧剂和抗氧剂放入搅拌机中搅拌,然后将搅拌好的原料经过温度为175-230℃的挤出机挤出,最后经过切粒后得到所述阻燃HIPS树脂。
本发明的阻燃HIPS树脂,采用纳米级高岭土作为阻燃增效的填充剂,其具有以下特点。
1.纳米级高岭土与溴氮类阻燃剂及三氧化二锑复配后,协同阻燃HIPS,既可以降低溴氮类防火剂与三氧化二锑的用量,又降低成本,提高材料性能;
2.将防火级纳米高岭土进行亲和性改性,若没有改性过的纳米填料在塑料材料中很难保持应有的纳米功效,不仅影响物理性能,而且影响防火性能,亲和改性后的纳米高岭土对HIPS物性影响不大,而且表面光滑、产品白度高,阻燃性和物性好;
3.防火性能:1/12"达到UL94V0要求,1/10"达到5VA要求,可广泛家用电器、办公设备和仪器仪表等对材料阻燃性能有较高要求的场合;
4.本发明的阻燃HIPS树脂的制备方法,工艺简单,加工效率高,取材方便,成本低。
具体实施方式
下面将对本发明作进一步说明。
本发明的一种阻燃HIPS树脂,包括以下按重量份配比的各个成分:HIPS树脂40-60%,含有二氧化硅、三氧化二铝、三氧化二铁、氧化镁及二氧化锑的纳米级高岭土10-15%,溴氮类阻燃剂10-15%,三氧化二锑10-13%,增韧剂:苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物9-16%,抗氧剂:酚类抗氧剂1010和磷酸酯类抗氧剂168的混合物0.6-1%。
本发明的阻燃HIPS树脂在燃烧时,纳米高岭土在复合材料表面形成一种碳化硅酸盐结构,对里面未燃烧的材料起到了隔热和分离的作用,使受热易分解的气体难以逃出,减少了可挥发产物的扩散,降低了复合材料的质量损失速率,从而提高了阻燃性能,另一方面,由于粘土片层的比表面积较大,均匀分散的片层阻挡了气体分子在复合材料中的扩散,从而提高了阻燃性能。
本发明的阻燃HIPS树脂的制备方法,包括以下步骤:先将纳米级高岭土烘干,使纳米级高岭土水分含量在0.05%以内,接着放入高速混合机内加温搅拌,当温度升到80℃时,加入螯合型塑料助剂进行亲和改性,再将亲和改性后的纳米级高岭土及HIPS树脂、溴氮类阻燃剂、三氧化二锑、增韧剂和抗氧剂放入搅拌机中搅拌,然后将搅拌好的原料经过温度为175-230℃的挤出机挤出,最后经过切粒后得到本发明的阻燃HIPS树脂。

Claims (5)
1.一种阻燃HIPS树脂,其特征在于,它包括以下按重量份配比的各个成分:
HIPS树脂40-60%,
纳米级高岭土10-15%,
溴氮类阻燃剂10-15%,
三氧化二锑10-13%,
增韧剂9-16%,
抗氧剂0.6-1%。
2.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃HIPS树脂,其特征在于,所述纳米级高岭土含有二氧化硅、三氧化二铝、三氧化二铁、氧化镁及二氧化锑。
3.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃HIPS树脂,其特征在于,所述增韧剂为苯乙烯-丁二烯-苯乙烯嵌段共聚物。
4.根据权利要求1所述的阻燃HIPS树脂,其特征在于,所述抗氧剂为酚类抗氧剂1010和磷酸酯类抗氧剂168的混合物。
5.一种阻燃HIPS树脂的制备方法,其特征在于,所述制备方法包括以下步骤:先将纳米级高岭土烘干,使纳米级高岭土水分含量在0.05%以内,接着放入高速混合机内加温搅拌,当温度升到80℃时,加入螯合型塑料助剂进行亲和改性,再将亲和改性后的纳米级高岭土及HIPS树脂、溴氮类阻燃剂、三氧化二锑、增韧剂和抗氧剂放入搅拌机中搅拌,然后将搅拌好的原料经过温度为175-230℃的挤出机挤出,最后经过切粒后得到所述阻燃HIPS树脂。
