The purpose of setting the standby timer is to ensure that the television set is kept in a stable power state, and prevent the power state of the television set from being falsely reported in an unstable working state, and the time of the standby timer is configurable, for example, 10 seconds.
S404a, the IPTV set-top box determines whether the set standby timing time is reached.
S405a, when the preset standby timing time is reached, the IPTV set-top box records the program channel currently watched by the television, disconnects the network, and switches to the standby state.
S403b, the IPTV set-top box reads that the power state of the television is changed from standby or power-off to power-on operation, and further may start a standby timer.
The purpose of setting the start-up timer is to ensure that the television is kept in a stable power state, and prevent the power state of the television from being misreported in an unstable working state, and the time of the start-up timer is configurable, for example, 5 seconds.
S404b, the IPTV set-top box determines whether the set standby timer is reached.
S405b, when the set startup timing time is reached, the IPTV set-top box is switched to the startup working state, is connected with the network, and plays the program channel watched last time again.
In the embodiment, when the IPTV set-top box is currently in a power-on working state or a standby state, the power state and the network connection mode of the IPTV set-top box automatically adapt to the power state of the set-top box according to the power state of the television are explained, so that a "one-key standby" function is provided, that is, a user only needs to control the power state of the television, the IPTV set-top box can automatically adapt to the power state and the network connection mode of the set-top box according to the power state of the television, and the set-top box does not need to be operated independently by the user, thereby avoiding the operation trouble of simultaneously using a television remote controller and a set-top box remote controller, simplifying the operation of turning off the IPTV television, saving electric energy and network resources, changing the mode of immediately connecting the.
In addition, the menu interface appears after the traditional set top box is started, and the user can play the program after selecting the program from the menu interface.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart illustrating a method for automatically waiting for an IPTV set-top box according to another embodiment of the present invention. In this embodiment, the IPTV set-top box is currently in a power-on state. As shown in fig. 5, the method of this embodiment includes the steps of:
