发明领域
本发明涉及建筑应用中具有改进的晾置时间的水硬性固化粘合剂。具体而言,本发明涉及包含表面活性剂磺烷基酯或其盐的水硬性固化粘合剂及其制备方法。
背景技术讨论
水硬性固化粘合剂被广泛用于建筑行业中。例如,它们可用作粘合陶瓷砖块的粘合剂。该粘合剂主要包含无机水硬性固化粘结剂如水泥,和填料如石英和/或含碳酸盐原料。可以以含聚合物的砂浆组合物的形式提供这种水硬性固化粘合剂,可以向该组合物中添加添加剂用来改进粘合剂的技术特性和物理性质。例如,可以向这类水硬性固化粘合剂中加入保水剂,特别是纤维素醚,以改进增稠能力(稠度)并增加其保水能力。
作为建筑行业的粘合剂,需要较长的晾置时间和较短的固化时间作为评价水硬性固化粘合剂可加工性的重要性质。在现有技术中,使用不同的延迟剂(retarder)来改进水硬性固化粘合剂的晾置时间。
JP2000128617教导了一种包含羟丙基甲基纤维素、源自海藻的水溶性聚合物和/或固化延迟剂的组合物。这种聚合物包括角叉菜胶、海藻酸、藻酸钠等。可加入以下物质作为固化延迟剂:羟基苯、酚酸、羧酸、氧基羧酸(oxycarboxylic acid)、氨基羧酸、其盐、氟硅酸盐、磷酸盐/酯、硼酸盐/酯等。该组合物具有较长的晾置时间并且可一次性施用在大面积上。
US20060169183A1教导了一种水硬性固化砂浆组合物,该组合物包含至少一种纤维素醚和至少一种固化延迟剂,所述固化延迟剂可以是多羟基化合物、磷酸酯/盐、水溶性氟硅酸盐、硼酸及其盐、羧酸及其盐、含羧基聚合物等。
US20080196629A1教导了一种自流平组合物,该组合物包含水泥、填料、减水剂、消泡剂和固化延迟剂,所述固化延迟剂可以是羟基羧酸,例如葡糖酸、柠檬酸和葡庚糖酸、其无机盐、糖类(sacchardies)和硼酸。
上述现有技术的粘合剂组合物在延迟剂的帮助下实现了较长的晾置时间,但与此同时该延迟剂导致水性固化动力学明显延迟。这种对固化的影响会由于建筑进度延迟而带来经济不利。其它缺点包括改变的水负载量和较低的粘合强度。
本发明试图解决该问题,通过提供一种水硬性固化粘合剂来实现较长的晾置时间而不会使其它性质裂化,尤其是固化时间。
发明内容
根据本发明,水硬性固化粘合剂包括水硬性粘结剂、填料、保水剂和磺烷基酯表面活性剂,其中所述表面活性剂由以下通式表示:
MSO3-R1–(–COOR2)n,
其中,M选自下组:氢、碱金属、碱土金属和铵;
R1是直链或支链、饱和或不饱和的C1-C10亚烷基,其可被一个或多个羟基、卤素、硝基或氰基取代;
当n>=2时,R2可以与R1相同或不同,并且由C1-C22直链或支链烷基表示;以及
n是1-10的整数。
优选地,本发明提供一种水硬性固化粘合剂,其包含水硬性粘结剂、一种或多种填料、纤维素醚、一种或多种可再分散性聚合物粉末和/或聚合物分散体以及磺烷基酯,其中所述水硬性固化粘合剂包含0.15-1.5重量%甲基羟丙基纤维素醚和0.02-0.4重量%1,4-二(2-乙基己氧基)-1,4-二氧代丁-2-磺酸钠,所述含量以所述水硬性固化粘合剂的总干重为基准计。
在另一个方面,本发明提供用于制备本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂的方法,所述方法包括:将所述组分分类为干组分和液体组分,将所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂配制成溶液并将该溶液施用在纤维素醚上以形成经处理的纤维素醚,将所述经处理的纤维素醚与其它干组分混合,将所述干组分和所述液体组分直接合并,然后与水混合在一起。

除非另有说明,所有百分数(%)是以所述水硬性固化粘合剂的总干重为基准计的重量%。下文对各种组分的描述是非限制性的。“EN”表示欧洲标准并作为一种测试方法的前缀放在测试方法编号之前。所述测试方法对于该文件的优先权日而言是最新的测试方法。
本文所用术语“水硬性固化粘合剂”表示建筑领域中使用的组合物,其包含水硬性粘结剂、填料和包含聚合物的添加剂例如保水剂、聚合物分散体和/或可再分散性聚合物粉末。
本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂包括具有以下通式的磺烷基酯表面活性剂。
MSO3-R1–(–COOR2)n,

优选地,在上述通式中,n=2,所述表面活性剂是二烷基酯磺酸盐/酯。更优选地,R1是C2-C4亚烷基,R2是C2-C8烷基以及n=2,因此所述表面活性剂是具有较短脂族链的二烷基酯磺酸盐/酯。更加优选地,所述表面活性剂是二辛基磺基琥珀酸盐,例如二辛基磺基琥珀酸钠,即1,4-二(2-乙基己氧基)-1,4-二氧代丁-2-磺酸钠。
以所述水硬性固化粘合剂的总干重为基准计,本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂通常包含等于或大于0.01重量%,并且可包含等于或大于0.02重量%,等于或大于0.06重量%,等于或大于0.1重量%,同时通常包含等于或小于2重量%,并且可包含等于或小于0.4重量%,等于或小于0.3重量%,等于或小于0.2重量%的磺烷基酯表面活性剂。
在常规砂浆中广泛使用保水剂来控制从其中除去水的速率,这是因为硬化的常规砂浆的物理性质受砂浆水化过程的影响强烈。
在本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂中可使用纤维素醚、淀粉醚或二者的混合物作为保水剂。优选地,纤维素醚是水溶性和/或可溶于有机相的离子型或非离子型纤维素衍生物。

以所述水硬性固化粘合剂的总干重为基准计,本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂通常包含等于或大于0.1重量%,并且可包含等于或大于0.15重量%,等于或大于0.2重量%,同时通常包含等于或小于3重量%,并且可包含等于或小于1.5重量%,等于或小于1重量%的纤维素醚。
“水硬性粘结剂”是矿物质组合物,通常为精细研磨材料,在加入适量的水后其形成粘合性糊料或浆液,该糊料或浆液能在空气中和在存在水的条件下通过水化而硬化并将粒料粘结在一起。优选地,本发明中使用的水硬性粘结剂是水泥。更优选地,本发明的水硬性粘结剂由波特兰(Portland)水泥组成,具体为CEM I、II、III、IV和V型,和/或氧化铝水泥(铝酸盐水泥)。
以所述水硬性固化粘合剂的总干重为基准计,本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂通常包含等于或大于5重量%,并且可包含等于或大于10重量%,等于或大于20重量%,同时通常包含等于或小于70重量%,并且可包含等于或小于50重量%,等于或小于45重量%的水硬性粘结剂。
本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂中使用的填料可选自下组:硅石砂、石灰石、白垩、大理石、粘土、粘土、氧化铝、滑石、重晶石、空心微球、玻璃和硅酸铝如膨胀粘土、膨胀玻璃和基于天然矿物质的多孔填料,例如泡沫材料、浮石和火山渣,以及膨胀蛭石。
以所述水硬性固化粘合剂的总干重为基准计,本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂通常包含等于或大于1重量%,并且可包含等于或大于50重量%,等于或大于60重量%,同时通常包含等于或小于85重量%,并且可包含等于或小于70重量%,等于或小于65重量%的填料。
可再分散性粉末(RDP)可用作水硬性固化粘合剂中的聚合物粘结剂。RDP可通过在存在各种添加剂如保护性胶体和抗结块剂的条件下对乳液聚合物进行喷雾干燥而制得。优选地,这类聚合物粘结剂是一种或多种选自下组单体的均聚物、共聚物或三元共聚物:苯乙烯、丁二烯、乙酸乙烯基酯、叔碳酸乙烯基酯、丙酸乙烯基酯、月桂酸乙烯基酯、氯乙烯、偏二氯乙烯、乙烯和丙烯酸酯,所述聚合物粘结剂例如乙烯/乙酸乙烯基酯共聚物(乙烯基酯-乙烯共聚物)、乙酸乙烯基酯/乙烯基-叔碳酸酯共聚物以及苯乙烯/丙烯酸类共聚物。更优选地,所述RDP是基于乙酸乙烯基酯-乙烯的共聚物,例如DLP2000(购自德国陶氏沃尔夫纤维素公司(Dow Wolff Cellulosics,Germany))。与水混合时,所述可再分散性粉末可以再分散以形成乳液,在后续通过蒸发并对水泥进行水化除去水时,所述乳液进而在水硬性固化粘合剂中形成连续膜。
还可使用聚合物分散体来将聚合物粘结剂引入本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂中,该分散体是在溶剂(例如水)中的细分散聚合物颗粒的两相体系。所述聚合物分散体通常包含作为聚合物粘结剂的聚合物颗粒,例如乙烯基聚合物或聚丙烯酸酯共聚物,以及含疏水性部分和亲水性部分的表面活性剂。所述细分散的聚合物颗粒在水蒸发时将聚结并形成聚合物膜。
此类聚合物粘结剂的使用并不是必须的,而是任选地。EN12004和EN12002给出了关于包含聚合物粘结剂的水硬性固化粘合剂的性能标准。以所述水硬性固化粘合剂的总干重为基准计,本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂通常包含等于或大于0.3重量%,并且可包含等于或大于0.5重量%,同时通常包含等于或小于50重量%,并且可包含等于或小于10重量%,等于或小于5重量%的以固体形式的可再分散性聚合物粉末和/或聚合物分散体。
除了混合水之外,本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂中还可使用其它添加剂,例如促进剂、阻滞剂、合成增稠剂、分散剂、颜料、还原剂、消泡剂、加气剂和聚合物超增塑剂。以所述水硬性固化粘合剂的总干重为基准计,本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂通常包含等于或大于0.001重量%,并且同时通常包含等于或小于5重量%的这些添加剂。
本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂可通过常规方法来制备,例如EN1346和EN1348中所述的方法。优选地,先将所述水硬性固化粘合剂的粉末状组分如水泥、填料、可再分散性聚合物粉末(如果有的话)和纤维素醚均匀混合,再加入液体组分,例如聚合物分散体(如果有的话)、水等。
为了确保在水硬性固化粘合剂中均匀分布,可将所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂直接加入所述液体组分(例如混合水和/或部分水性溶液)中。
优选地,将所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂施用(例如通过喷涂)在保水剂上,然后将其加入以固体形式的水硬性固化粘合剂的干组分中。例如,可根据以下步骤制备表面活性剂二辛基磺基琥珀酸钠和甲基羟乙基纤维素的干粉末混合物:
(1)通过热水洗涤甲基羟乙基纤维素,然后将其过滤以形成湿滤饼;
(2)将二辛基磺基琥珀酸钠溶解在水中以形成溶液;
(3)将该溶液喷涂在甲基羟基醚纤维素湿滤饼上,同时在捏合机中将该滤饼均匀混合以形成粒料;
(4)对上述步骤(3)中获得的粒料进行干燥并研磨成粉末。
这样获得的粉末可以与水泥、硅石砂和其它组分混合以制备所述水硬性固化粘合剂。
优选地,以所述保水剂的总重量为基准计,通常以等于或大于0.01重量%,并且可以以等于或大于1重量%,同时通常以等于或小于80重量%,并且可以以等于或小于50重量%的量来喷涂所述表面活性剂。
本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂可用于铺设天然石材砖块或陶瓷瓷器。与现有技术的粘合剂相比,本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂具有优异的加工性,例如易于施用、较长的晾置时间、对固化延迟的影响较低以及非常好的物理性质,特别是失效形态和拉伸结合强度。还发现本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂往往很不容易风化。
具体实施方式
实施例1
制备比较例来测试所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂对晾置时间和其它性质的影响。根据EN12004满足C1E类水泥基砖瓦粘合剂的要求,按照以下方法配制两种水硬性固化粘合剂。

表1:比较测试的结果
如上表1中所示,与比较组合物相比,添加磺烷基酯表面活性剂使得晾置时间较长,固化时间与其基本一致。同时,标准气候和水中浸泡条件下的粘合强度远超过比较组合物的粘合强度。
实施例2:制备比较例来测试所述表面活性剂磺烷基酯对晾置时间和其它性质的影响。根据EN12004满足C2E类水泥基砖瓦粘合剂的要求,按照以下方法配制两种水硬性固化粘合剂。
比较组合物III:
a)波特兰水泥CEM I52.5R(海德堡水泥公司(HeidelbergCement AG,Germany)),35.00%
b)硅石砂F32(德国廓兹微克公司(Quarzwerke GmbH,Germany)),粒度为0.125-0.5毫米,31.8%
c)硅石砂F36(德国廓兹微克公司(Quarzwerke GmbH,Germany)),粒度为0.09-0.25毫米,30.8%
d)基于乙酸乙烯基酯-乙烯的可再分散性聚合物粉末DLP2000牌共聚物(德国陶氏沃尔夫纤维素公司(Dow Wolff Cellulosics,Germany)),2%
e)保水剂WALOCELTM MTW8000PF10牌甲基羟乙基纤维素(德国陶氏沃尔夫纤维素公司),0.4%
f)将水和干水硬性固化粘合剂以220克水每千克所述干水硬性固化粘合剂的比例混合,以实现670±60Pa·s(布鲁克菲尔德(Brookfield),5rpm,23℃)的稠度

g)将水和干水硬性固化粘合剂以220克水每千克所述干水硬性固化粘合剂的比例混合,以实现670±60Pa·s(布鲁克菲尔德(Brookfield),5rpm,23℃)的稠度
如下表2中所示,与比较组合物相比,添加所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂使得晾置时间较长并且固化时间较短。同时,粘合强度未受影响;相反,粘合强度在不同条件下得到极大改善。

设计比较例来测试所述表面活性剂磺烷基酯对晾置时间和其它性质的影响。根据EN12004按照以下方法配制满足C2E类水泥基砖瓦粘合剂要求的两种水硬性固化粘合剂。
比较组合物V
a)波特兰水泥CEM I52.5R(海德堡水泥公司),35.00%
b)硅石砂F32(德国廓兹微克公司),粒度为0.125-0.5毫米,30.8%
c)硅石砂F36(德国廓兹微克公司),粒度为0.09-0.25毫米,30.8%
d)基于乙酸乙烯基酯-乙烯的可再分散性聚合物粉末DLP2000牌共聚物(德国陶氏沃尔夫纤维素公司),2.5%
e)保水剂METHOCELTM A4M牌甲基纤维素,购自德国陶氏沃尔夫纤维素公司(METHOCEL是陶氏化学品公司的商标),0.4%
f)促进剂Mebofix50牌甲酸钙(德国蓝克斯公司(LANXESS AG,Germany)),0.5%
g)将水和干水硬性固化粘合剂以220克水每千克所述干水硬性固化粘合剂的比例混合,以实现670±60Pa·s(布鲁克菲尔德(Brookfield),5rpm,23℃)的稠度
本发明的组合物VI
a)波特兰水泥CEM I52.5R(海德堡水泥公司),35.00%
b)硅石砂F32(德国廓兹微克公司),粒度为0.125-0.5毫米,30.8%
c)硅石砂F36(德国廓兹微克公司),粒度为0.09-0.25毫米,30.76%
d)基于乙酸乙烯基酯-乙烯的可再分散性聚合物粉末DLP2000牌共聚物(购自德国陶氏沃尔夫纤维素公司),2.5%
e)保水剂METHOCELTM A4M牌甲基纤维素(德国陶氏沃尔夫纤维素公司),0.4%
f)促进剂Mebofix50牌甲酸钙(德国蓝克斯公司(LANXESS AG,Germany)),0.5%
g)表面活性剂1,4-二(2-乙基己氧基)-1,4-二氧代丁-2-磺酸钠(德国西格玛奥德里奇公司),0.04%
h)将水和干水硬性固化粘合剂以205克水每千克所述干水硬性固化粘合剂的比例混合,以实现670±60Pa·s(布鲁克菲尔德,5rpm,23℃)的稠度
表3:比较测试的结果
如上表3中所示,与比较组合物相比,添加所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂使得晾置时间较长,并且固化时间与其基本一致。同时,在不同条件下粘合强度得到极大改善。
实施例4:表面活性剂和延迟剂的比较测试
进行本发明的组合物与比较组合物之间的比较测试,所述本发明的组合物包含1,4-二(2-乙基己氧基)-1,4-二氧代丁-2-磺酸钠,所述比较组合物包含延迟剂酒石酸钠盐或柠檬酸三钠盐。根据加入的共-添加剂(Co-additive)的不同,调整F36型硅石砂的百分数,并使得所有组分的总百分数达到100%。
包含表面活性剂/延迟剂的组分如下所述:
a)35.0%常规波特兰水泥CEM I52.5R(德国米尔克公司(Milke,Germany));
b)31.8%F32型硅石砂(德国的廓兹微克福瑞克公司(Quarzwerke Frechen,Germany));
c)30.6%-30.8%F36型硅石砂(德国的廓兹微克福瑞克公司(QuarzwerkeFrechen,Germany));
d)2.0%基于乙酸乙烯基酯-乙烯的可再分散性聚合物粉末DLP2000牌共聚物(购自德国陶氏沃尔夫纤维素公司)
e)0.4%WALOCELTM MTW8000PF10牌甲基羟乙基纤维素(德国陶氏沃尔夫纤维素公司);以及
f)共添加剂a=二辛基磺基琥珀酸盐(表面活性剂,阿德瑞奇公司(Aldrich))(本发明的制剂),浓度如表4中所示,
共添加剂b=酒石酸钠盐(延迟剂,阿德瑞奇公司)(比较制剂),浓度如表4中所示;或共添加剂c=柠檬酸三钠盐(延迟剂,阿德瑞奇公司)(比较制剂),浓度如表4中所示。
如下表4所示,比较延迟剂使得固化时间非常长。与比较组合物相比,所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂实现了较长的晾置时间并且固化时间基本保持相同或者更短。同时,在所有条件下,本发明的水硬性固化粘合剂第8号的粘合强度高于所述比较制剂和标准。

Claims (8)
1.一种水硬性固化粘合剂,其包含以下组分:
a)水硬性粘结剂;
b)一种或多种填料;
c)一种或多种保水剂;以及
d)一种或多种磺烷基酯表面活性剂;
其中,所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂具有以下通式:
MSO3-R1-(-COOR2)n,
其中,M选自下组:氢、碱金属、碱土金属和铵;
R1是直链或支链、饱和或不饱和的C1-C10亚烷基,其可任选地被一个或多个羟基、卤素、硝基或氰基取代;
R2可以与R1相同或不同,并且由C1-C22直链或支链烷基表示;以及
n是1-10的整数,
其中,所述水硬性固化粘合剂包含
0.1-3重量%所述保水剂,所述含量以所述水硬性固化粘合剂的总干重为基准计。
2.如权利要求1所述的水硬性固化粘合剂,其特征在于,所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂是二烷基酯磺酸盐/酯。
3.如权利要求1所述的水硬性固化粘合剂,其特征在于,所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂是1,4-二(2-乙基己氧基)-1,4-二氧代丁-2-磺酸钠。
4.如权利要求1所述的水硬性固化粘合剂,其特征在于,所述保水剂是纤维素醚、淀粉醚或其组合。
5.如权利要求1所述的水硬性固化粘合剂,其还包含:
e)可再分散性聚合物粉末、聚合物分散体或其组合。
6.如权利要求1所述的水硬性固化粘合剂,其特征在于,以其干总为基准计,所述水硬性固化粘合剂包含0.15-1.5重量%的所述保水剂,以及0.02-0.4重量%的所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂。
7.如权利要求5所述的水硬性固化粘合剂,以其干重为基准计,所述水硬性固化粘合剂包含:
a)20-45重量%的所述水硬性粘结剂;
b)50-70重量%的所述填料;
c)0.2-1重量%的所述保水剂;
d)0.5-5重量%的固体形式的所述可再分散性聚合物粉末或聚合物分散体;以及
e)0.06-0.3重量%的所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂。
8.一种用于制备如权利要求1所述的水硬性固化粘合剂的方法,其包括:
a)将所述组分分类为干组分和液体组分;
b)将所述磺烷基酯表面活性剂配制成溶液并将所述溶液施用在保水剂上以形成粒料;
c)将所述保水剂粒料与其它干组分混合;以及
d)直接加入所述液体组分,然后与水进行混合。
