Advertisers who place advertisements typically monitor the audience/audience ratings of the advertisements in order to determine the effectiveness of the advertisements.
There are two common methods for monitoring advertisement audience/audience rating:
one is a diary method, in which a selected sample user fills in a diary card to listen to or watch advertisements, and then the diary card handed by the sample user periodically is counted manually to obtain the data of the advertisements listened to or watched by the user. The method ensures that the user can really listen to or watch the related advertisement by filling the condition of listening to or watching the advertisement by the user, the monitoring result is relatively accurate, but the user needs to spend certain manpower on collecting and counting the diary card when filling the diary card, and the efficiency is lower;
another method is an advertisement measuring instrument, during the period from the time when a user presses a specific start button on a remote controller to the time when a specific end button is pressed, the measuring instrument stores all the information of watching TV and transmits the information to a central computer through a telephone line. Although the efficiency of the method is improved to some extent, the method cannot guarantee that a sample user watches related advertisements in front of the television set during the period from the pressing of the specific start button to the pressing of the end button, and therefore, the monitoring result is not accurate enough.

It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the specific implementation method of the advertiser for performing statistics on the listening rate and/or the audience rating may be set by the advertiser according to the requirement of the advertiser for monitoring the advertisement, for example, the advertiser may add the number of times of listening/watching the advertisement when receiving an audio and/or video.
By applying the method provided by the embodiment of the invention, when the user listens to and/or watches the advertisement, the advertisement is subjected to audio recording and/or video recording, so that the recorded audio and/or video can confirm that the user listens to and/or watches the advertisement, and the recorded audio and/or video is sent to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through the communication tool, so that the advertiser can obtain the audio and/or video which truly reflects the listening/watching condition of the advertisement without manual user collection, and the purpose of efficiently and accurately monitoring the audience advertisement rate/audience rate is realized by carrying out statistics on the audience rate and/or audience rate according to the received audio and/or video.
It should be noted that, the applicable scenarios of the advertisement monitoring method provided in the embodiment of the present invention are not limited. For example, the method can be applied to smart mobile terminals such as smart phones and ipads, and the smart mobile terminals comprise audio/video recording functions and communication tools; it is also applicable to a system including a plurality of devices, for example, the system may be composed of a terminal device having an audio/video recording function and a terminal device installed with an instant communication means based on network online communication such as "easy-to-believe", or, for example, the system may be composed of a terminal device having an audio/video recording function and a conventional telephone; or may be applied in any other possible application scenario, and is not limited in this disclosure.
The process of the present invention will now be described in detail with reference to the following examples.
(embodiment one) in one possible implementation, the advertisement may be recorded in audio, and the recorded audio is sent to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a communication tool.
For example, the audio recording in this embodiment may be implemented by an instant messaging tool based on online communication over a network, and this embodiment may include:
when a user listens to and/or watches the advertisement, the advertisement is recorded in an audio mode by using an instant messaging tool, for example, a recording function of 'easy letter', such as 'push-to-talk', wherein the instant messaging tool can also respond to the selection of a contact in an address list by the user before the audio recording and takes the contact as an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement;
and sending the recorded audio to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through the instant messaging tool so that the advertiser can count the audience rating and/or the audience rating.
For another example, the audio recording in this embodiment may be implemented by using a recording function of the terminal device itself. For example, the terminal device may be an intelligent mobile terminal, a conventional sound recorder, or the like, and the embodiment may include:
when a user listens to and/or watches the advertisement, the audio recording is carried out on the advertisement by utilizing the recording function of the terminal equipment;
sending audio to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a file transfer function of an instant messaging tool, wherein the instant messaging tool responds to a user triggering the file transfer function, receives the audio submitted by the user, and sends the audio to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in a file transfer mode; or,
sending audio to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through an electronic mail function of an instant messaging tool, wherein the instant messaging tool receives the audio submitted by a user in an attachment form in response to the user triggering the electronic mail function, and sends the audio to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in the attachment of the electronic mail; or,
and sending audio to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a communication tool providing a telephone function, such as a traditional telephone, a mobile phone and the like, wherein the communication tool providing the telephone function responds to the user to connect the telephone of the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement, and the audio is played to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in the telephone.
For another example, when the audio is sent to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through an instant messaging tool and the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement is not a user of the instant messaging tool, the audio can be sent to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a telephone message leaving function of the instant messaging tool, wherein the instant messaging tool responds to the user triggering the telephone message leaving function and sends the audio to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement as a telephone message.
(embodiment two) in another possible implementation manner, videos of the advertisements may be recorded, and the recorded videos are sent to advertisers corresponding to the advertisements through a communication tool.
For example, the video recording in this embodiment may be implemented by using a video recording function of a terminal device, for example, a conventional video recorder, a mobile phone, an ipad, and other intelligent mobile terminals, and this embodiment may include:
when a user listens to and/or watches the advertisement, video recording is carried out on the advertisement by using terminal equipment;
sending a video to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a file transmission function of an instant messaging tool, wherein the instant messaging tool responds to a user triggering the file transmission function, receives the video submitted by the user, and sends the video to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in a file transmission mode; or,
sending a video to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a video connection function of an instant messaging tool, wherein the instant messaging tool responds to a function that a user triggers video connection, establishes video connection with the advertiser, and plays the video to the advertiser through the video connection; or,
and sending the video to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through an e-mail function of the instant messaging tool, wherein the instant messaging tool responds to the condition that the user triggers the e-mail function, receives the video submitted by the user in an attachment form, and sends the video to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in the attachment of the e-mail.
For another example, when the user listens to and/or watches the advertisement, the advertisement is video-recorded by using an instant messaging tool, such as a video recording function of "easy to believe", wherein the instant messaging tool can further respond to the selection of a contact in an address book by the user before video recording, and take the contact as an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement;
and sending the recorded video to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through the instant messaging tool so as to facilitate the advertiser to carry out audience rating statistics.
It should be noted that, a video obtained by video recording according to the embodiment of the present invention may be a frame of video, that is, a photo, or may be a continuous frame of video, and the present invention is not limited thereto.
(embodiment three) in yet another possible implementation, for a user that may repeat sending audio and/or video to an advertiser through a communication tool after recording an advertisement once to cause a listening rate/audience rating statistics error, this embodiment may further embed a recording time tag in the audio and/or video, so that the advertiser compares the recording time of the currently received audio and/or video with the recording time of the previously received audio and/or video from the user before performing the listening rate and audience rating statistics, returns a message to the user to prohibit the repeated sending and ignores the currently received audio and/or video if the comparison is positive, and allows the currently received audio and/or video to be subjected to statistics.
In yet another possible implementation manner, the recorded audio and/or video may be sent to a server corresponding to a public account and/or a public mailbox configured by the communication tool by using a public account or a public mailbox provided on the communication tool, so that after receiving the audio and/or video, the server automatically identifies an advertiser of the advertisement according to the obtained audio and/or video, and sends the audio and/or video to the advertiser.
Specifically, for example, the server may extract an advertisement unique identifier carried by a file name of an audio and/or video from the file name, query an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement unique identifier, and send the audio and/or video to the advertiser; or, the server may extract a keyword by performing voice recognition on the obtained audio, query an advertiser corresponding to the keyword, and send the audio and/or the video to the advertiser.
Exemplary System
Having described one of the methods of the exemplary embodiments of the present invention, an advertisement monitoring system of the exemplary embodiments of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to fig. 4.
Referring to fig. 4, a schematic structural diagram of an advertisement monitoring system according to an embodiment of the present invention is shown. As shown, for example, this embodiment may include:
a recording module 410, which may be configured to perform audio recording and/or video recording on the advertisement when the user listens to and/or watches the advertisement;
the communication module 420 may be configured to send the recorded audio and/or video to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a communication tool, so that the advertiser can make statistics on the listening rate and/or the audience rating.
By applying the device provided by the embodiment of the invention, since the recording module 410 can record the audio and/or video of the advertisement when the user listens to and/or watches the advertisement, the recorded audio and/or video can prove that the user listens to and/or watches the advertisement, therefore, the communication module 420 can send the audio and/or video to the advertiser through the communication tool, so that the advertiser can obtain the audio and/or video truly reflecting the listening/watching situation of the advertisement without the need of entering the user for collection, and the purpose of monitoring the advertisement audience rating/audience rating with high efficiency can be realized by carrying out the statistics on the audience rating and/or audience rating according to the received audio and/or video.
The system of the present invention is described in detail below with reference to several embodiments.
In one possible implementation, the recording module may be configured to record audio of the advertisement, and the communication module may be configured to invoke the communication tool to send the recorded audio to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement.
For example, the recording module 410 may be specifically configured to implement audio recording of the advertisement by using an instant messaging tool, such as a "easy-to-believe" recording function. In this implementation, before the instant messaging tool records audio, the instant messaging tool may select a contact in an address book in response to the user, and treat the contact as an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement.
For another example, the recording module 410 may be specifically configured to record the audio of the advertisement by using a recording function of a terminal device, such as an intelligent mobile terminal, a conventional recorder, and the like.
In this implementation, the communication module 420 may be specifically configured to send audio to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a file transfer function of an instant messaging tool, where the instant messaging tool receives audio submitted by a user in response to a user triggering the file transfer function, and sends the audio to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in a file transfer form; or, the instant messaging tool can be configured to send audio to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through an email function of the instant messaging tool, wherein the instant messaging tool receives audio submitted by a user in an attachment form in response to the user triggering the email function, and sends the audio to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in the attachment of the email; alternatively, the communication tool may be configured to send audio to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a communication tool providing a telephone function, wherein the communication tool providing a telephone function plays the audio to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in the telephone in response to a user connecting to the telephone of the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement.
For another example, the communication module 420 may be specifically configured to send the audio to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through an instant messaging tool, where if the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement is not a user of the instant messaging tool, the instant messaging tool responds to a user triggering a phone message function, and sends the audio to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement as a phone message.
(sixth embodiment) in another possible implementation, the recording module 410 may be configured to record a video of the advertisement, and the communication module 420 may be configured to send the recorded video to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through the communication tool.
In this implementation manner, if the recording module 410 is configured to implement video recording on an advertisement by using a video recording function of a terminal device, then:
the communication module 420 may be configured to send the video to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a file transfer function of an instant messaging tool, where the instant messaging tool receives a video submitted by a user in response to a user triggering the file transfer function, and sends the video to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in a file transfer form;
or,
the communication module 420 may be configured to send the video to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through a video connection function of an instant messaging tool, where the instant messaging tool establishes a video connection with the advertiser in response to a user triggering a video connection function, and plays the video to the advertiser through the video connection; or,
the communication module 420 may be configured to send a video to an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement through an email function of an instant messaging tool, where the instant messaging tool receives a video submitted by a user in an attachment form in response to the user triggering the email function, and sends the video to the advertiser corresponding to the advertisement in the attachment of the email.
(embodiment seven) in yet another possible implementation, for a user who may repeatedly send audio and/or video to an advertiser through a communication tool after recording an advertisement once, resulting in a listening/rating statistics error, the embodiment may further include: the time tag module 430 may be configured to embed a recording time tag in the audio and/or video, so that the advertiser compares the recording time of the currently received audio and/or video with the recording time of the previously received audio and/or video from the user before making statistics of the listening rate and the audience rating, if the comparison is the same, a message for prohibiting repeated transmission is returned to the user, the currently received audio and/or video is ignored, and if the comparison is not the same, the currently received audio and/or video is allowed to be made statistics.
(embodiment eight) in yet another possible implementation manner, the communication module 420 may be configured to send the recorded audio and/or video to a server corresponding to the public account and/or the public mailbox configured by the communication tool by using a public account or a public mailbox provided on the communication tool, so that after receiving the audio and/or video, the server automatically identifies an advertiser of the advertisement according to the obtained audio and/or video, and sends the audio and/or video to the advertiser.
Specifically, for example, the communication module 420 may be configured to send the audio and/or the video to a server corresponding to a public account and/or a public mailbox configured by the communication tool through the communication tool, so that the server extracts an advertisement unique identifier carried by a file name of the audio and/or the video from the file name, queries an advertiser corresponding to the advertisement unique identifier, and sends the audio and/or the video to the advertiser.
For another example, the communication module 420 may be configured to send the audio and/or the video to a server corresponding to a public account and/or a public mailbox configured by the communication tool through the communication tool, so that the server extracts a keyword by performing voice recognition on the obtained audio, queries an advertiser corresponding to the keyword, and sends the audio and/or the video to the advertiser.
Second exemplary method
