Abstract

Description
本发明涉及矿脂组合物及其制备方法。其中还涉及包含所述矿脂组合物的化妆品组合物。
背景技术
由于矿脂提供优异的增湿性,因此期望得到矿脂基组合物(即其中润肤剂矿脂占组合物的大于或等于50%的组合物)。然而,消费者认为其具有感觉上的缺陷。具体地,由于油性/油腻和“发粘”(即接触起来轻微粘着或胶粘)感,矿脂对申请范围具有某些限制。
我们已经发现使用共聚物来克服这个问题的方法,所述共聚物此外还避免了附加油的不期望的用途。
测试和定义
使用扫描速率为5℃/min的Q1000(TA Instruments, New Castle, DE)进行DSC测量。在-40-80℃的温度下,以重量计,获得约8 mg样品的熔化焓。
差示扫描量热法(DSC)是二十世纪六十年代引进的被广泛使用的技术。进行这项技术的基本原理是,当样品经历物理转换如相变时,流向所述物理转换所需要的热量与在同样温度下保持两相所涉及的差不多。这项技术可以用于测量样品的若干特性,如熔融和结晶。DSC实验的结果是热通量针对温度或针对时间的曲线。存在两种不同规则(convention):取决于实验中所使用的技术种类,样品中的放热反应示出具有正峰或负峰。这个曲线可以用于计算焓变化。这可以通过整合对应于给出的变化的峰来实现。
换句话说,所述能量变化ΔH是由基线限定的差式热分析图的面积。
数均最长晶体尺寸
将矿脂晶体(也成为微晶)拉长,使用显微镜测量最长尺寸。
使用装有Linkam加热/冷却池显微镜的Nikon Eclipse E 600操作偏振光显微镜;使用50x Plan物镜获取显微照片。
矿脂
矿脂是烃类的易燃性的半固体混合物,从石油获得,并且熔点为从稍低于100oF
(37℃)涵盖到稍高于100oF
(37℃)。当纯时,所述矿脂为无色或淡黄色(当没有高度蒸馏时)、半透明且无臭无味。所述矿脂不溶于水。矿脂的一个来源例如为来自Penreco的Petrolatum Snow White®。
一般而言,由于存在正构烷烃(链烷烃),矿脂(具有较低的弹性剪切模量G'的较少的结构化凡士林,或较多的结构化的PJ Snow White®,或PJ Yellow)被结构化,其中链烷烃的分数取决于蒸馏方法和原油源。通过所述组分的模量和屈服应力来定义结构化。例如对于凡士林Snow
White®,在30℃、1 rad/s的频率和0.1 %的极限应变平均差下测量的弹性剪切模量为G' = 2000-3000 Pa,并且对于更少结构化的凡士林液体G' =
200-300。
硅酮油
硅酮油能够改善矿脂基组合物的舒适感(油性;粘性)。典型的硅酮油为聚二甲基硅氧烷,其中两个甲基连接于硅原子以形成(H3C)3SiO(CH3)2]nSi(CH3)3,其中n限定链长(n通常>4)。n的上限被限制为期望的硅酮油粘度,并可以为4-850,优选为8-400。
苯基可以代替甲基连接并将形成例如苯基三(三甲基甲硅烷氧基)硅烷(一个苯基)、四苯基二甲基二硅氧烷(4个苯基)、三甲基五苯基三硅氧烷(5个苯基)。通常,例如可以将烷基或苯基和其他烷基的组合接枝于硅酮主链上。
被以商品出售的硅酮油的实例包括Dow Corning出售的DC-704®、DC 556和PH-1555 HRI化妆品等级的硅酮流体。优选的油包括DC704或DC556。
优选地,根据本发明的化妆品组合物含有少于10 %的硅酮油。
在另一个优选的实施方案中,化妆品组合物的硅酮油/矿脂比小于10 %,优选小于5%。
脂肪酸
根据本发明的脂肪酸为C12-C18酸,其中更长的链与C12脂肪酸的比如下所示:
C14:C12比(例如,肉豆蔻酸对月桂酸):1.18:1-2.0:1
C16:C12比(例如,棕榈酸对月桂酸):1.8:1-2.5:1
C18:C12比(例如,硬脂酸对月桂酸):1.5:1-2.3:1。
优选地,本发明的化妆品组合物含有小于8 %,优选小于6 %的脂肪酸。
化妆品组合物
可以将根据本发明的矿脂组合物配制成含有矿脂组合物(后文中称为“PC”)的含水或无水的化妆品组合物(例如,身体或面部护理组合物),该矿脂组合物例如作为疏水相或脂肪相部分。
例如,大部分化妆品制剂以变化的浓度水平含有疏水相或脂肪相,其包含油、脂肪和/或蜡的混合物。这是正确的,例如对于水包油型或油包水型乳剂、凝胶、用于面部和身体护理的油、乳和化妆产品如胭脂或唇膏而言就是如此。
本发明的PC可以占化妆品组合物的总重量的例如1-80%。在水包油型乳剂或身体护理组合物的情况下,PC将更通常占化妆品组合物的1-30重量%,优选2-15重量%,更优选2-10重量%。通常,水将占这种组合物的70-99重量%,优选80-90重量%。
当组合物具有越来越少的水时,PC可以达到化妆品的50-80重量%。在通常的面部护理申请中,PC将占化妆品组合物的40-70重量%,优选45-65重量%。
可以在化妆品组合物的疏水相或脂肪相中使用的其他组分为植物油或动物油、合成油、脂肪和/或蜡。
在植物油或动物油中,可以使用的包括杏仁油、鳄梨油、橄榄油、枣油(jujube
oil)、芝麻油、大豆油、菜籽油、角鲨烯、羊毛脂和任何上述物质的衍生物。
在合成油中,可以使用的为棕榈酸乙酯和棕榈酸异丙酯、肉豆蔻酸烷基酯(肉豆蔻酸异丙酯、肉豆蔻酸丁酯或肉豆蔻酸鲸蜡酯)、辛酸或癸酸的甘油三酯、蓖麻醇酸鲸蜡酯、辛酸硬脂酯、氢化聚异丁烯等。
在蜡中,可以使用的包括巴西棕榈蜡、蜂蜡、地蜡、小烛树蜡、褐煤蜡和微晶蜡。
疏水相也可以含有少量脂肪醇(例如,通常为0.1-3重量%,优选0.2-1重量%)。这些脂肪醇包括长链醇,如鲸蜡醇、硬脂醇、肉豆蔻醇、氢化硬脂醇、油醇等。另外,所述脂肪相可以含有聚合物,例如聚乙烯基吡咯烷,通常为约0.1-0.5重量%。
如所表明的,疏水相(包含PC)的总量取决于化妆品组合物为主要是水、稍微含水还是无水而变化,并且通常可以以化妆品组合物的3重量%到99重量%变化。
如上所述,化妆品组合物可以为主要是水或基本无水。所述组合物可以为流体乳剂、乳液或更稳固的(substantial)乳剂。它们可以例如为乳或软膏、用于手护理的乳或膏、卸妆膏或乳、粉底、防晒乳或膏、人工晒黑乳或膏、防汗乳或膏、剃须膏或泡沫。
当为膏或乳形式时,化妆品组合物通常为油包水型或水包油型乳剂形式,其中在化妆品乳剂中疏水相或脂肪相(主要包含80-100 % PC)占4-60重量%,水占30-90重量%并且乳化剂占0.5-20重量%,优选1-12重量%。
在乳化剂中,可以使用的非限定性实例如下:
脂肪聚氧乙烯或聚甘油醇、氧乙烯或非氧乙烯烷基硫酸酯/盐、至少一种羊毛脂酸盐(lanoate)(例如,镁、钙、锂、锌或铝羊毛脂酸盐和氢化的羊毛脂和/或羊毛脂醇,脂肪酸和多元醇如甘油或丙二醇的酯)的混合物。甘油和丙二醇还是功能性的,例如充当保湿剂。还可使用脂肪酸和聚氧乙烯脱水山梨醇的单酯。
化妆品组合物还可以包含增稠剂和胶凝剂(gellifying agents) 它们包括例如硅酸镁和硅酸铝;醚-乙烯属/马来酸酐共聚物(例如以"Viscofas"®出售的聚合物);羧基乙烯属(carboxyvinylic)聚合物如以Carbopol®名字出售的那些;或有机改性的蒙脱土和中性油的凝胶例如产品Miglyol
gel®。
另外,所述化妆品组合物可以通常以0.1-3重量%的水平包含各种其他组分,包括着色剂、芳香剂、防腐剂、螯合剂、UV过滤剂、颜料、珠光剂、无机或有机填料和维生素。
发明简要描述
本发明的第一个目的是提供矿脂组合物,其包含:
(1)50-99.95重量%的矿脂,优选至少95%;
(2)大于0.05重量%的共聚物,该聚合物含有大于70%的长链烷基。
所述组合物的焓为30-65,优选40-60,甚至更优选45-55 J/g,
矿脂数均最长晶体尺寸为小于10 μm,优选小于5 μm,更优选小于1 μm。
优选地,所述矿脂组合物的共聚物/矿脂重量比为小于1:100,更优选小于1:200。
优选地,矿脂和共聚物一起占矿脂组合物总重量的至少95 %,优选至少99 %,更优选至少99.9 %。
优选地,所述共聚物包含乙烯基酰胺单体,并且长链烷基为链长为C12或更长的α-烯烃。
还优选地,所述共聚物含有至少75%的长链烷基。
还优选地,所述长链烷基为C12-C30烷基,更优选为C18-C24烷基。乙烯基酰胺单体,尤其是环状乙烯基酰胺单体(例如乙烯基吡咯烷酮)和长链(例如C12-C30)α-烯烃(例如二十烷)的共聚物是优选的。
本发明的第二个目的是提供用于制备矿脂组合物的方法,其中将共聚物加入矿脂中,将所述矿脂-共聚物共混物加热(65-75°C)并冷却至室温。
在本发明的优选实施方案中,在被一起加入之前,将矿脂和共聚物加热至65-75℃的温度。
在本发明的另一个优选实施方案中,首先一起加入矿脂和共聚物,然后加热至65-75℃的温度。
然后,将矿脂/共聚物组合物与其他成分结合以制备化妆品组合物。
本发明的第三个优选目的是包含1-80%的根据本发明的矿脂组合物的化妆品组合物。

矿脂组合物的实施例
将不同类型的矿脂(petrolata)与共聚物组合,结果总结于下文表格中。
将Ganex V220(可购自ISP International Speciality Products的乙烯基吡咯烷酮/二十碳烯共聚物)加入矿脂中,然后在被冷却至室温之前,将组合物整体加热至65℃,持续至少30分钟的时间。
结果示出,在没有明显改变总晶体质量(如焓所示)的情况下,加入共聚物是怎样改变晶体大小的。对于化妆品组合物,这个结果导致获得改进的铺展性,因此获得更好的闭合性(occlusion property)。
化妆品组合物的实施例

Claims (10)
1.组合物,其包含:

3.根据权利要求2的组合物,其中共聚物为乙烯基吡咯烷酮的共聚物,并且长链烷基为C12-C30的α-烯烃。
4.制备根据权利要求1-3的组合物的方法,其中将矿脂和共聚物一起加入并在被冷却至22-27℃的温度之前加热至65-75℃的温度。
5.根据权利要求4的方法,其中在被一起加入之前,将矿脂和共聚物加热至65-75℃的温度。
6.根据权利要求4的方法,其中首先一起加入矿脂和共聚物,然后加热至65-75℃的温度。
