An adjusting base plate is lined temporarily between an upper clamp plate and a lower clamp plate so as to change the vertical clear height of the original wire clamp and multiple wire diameters can be adapted through the adjustment of the vertical clear height, thereby realizing the purpose that a wire clamp with a special structure can adapt to various specifications of pipelines. The wire clamp comprises the upper clamp plate, the lower clamp plate, and the adjusting base plate, wherein the upper clamp plate and the lower clamp plate are connected by screws so as to clamp pipelines, the adjusting base plate is temporarily arranged on the lower clamp plate and provided with a group of guide pillars, and a group of positioning holes are arranged in corresponding positions of the lower clamp plate. According to the characteristics of the basic scheme, the adjusting base plate is lined in the lower clamp plate according to the diameter change of the pipeline, the pipeline is clamped and fixed by the adjusting base plate and the upper clamp plate, and the multi-wire diameter adaptive wire clamp can be used for clamping pipelines with smaller wire diameters.

In order to facilitate the adjustment of the temporary pad and to prevent the loss of the adjustment pad, the adjustment pad may be connected to one side of the lower plate and may be integrally formed with the lower plate by an integral molding process.
In order to facilitate the arrangement of pipelines and improve the stable effect of clamping and fixing the pipelines, a guide block for forming a wire groove can be arranged on the adjusting base plate along the clamping direction of the pipelines.
Based on the same design, the structure and the starting point, a guide block for forming a wire groove can be arranged on the lower clamping plate along the clamping direction of the pipeline.
On the basis of the improvement of the multi-wire-diameter adaptive wire clamp structure, the invention also realizes a pipeline clamping method, namely, the upper clamping plate and the lower clamping plate are connected through screws to clamp and fix the pipeline.
The design scheme different from the existing clamping and fixing method is that an adjusting base plate is temporarily installed on a lower clamping plate according to the size change of the wire diameter, and the adjusting base plate and an upper clamping plate clamp and fix the pipeline;
when the adjusting base plate is connected with the lower clamp plate, the guide posts of the adjusting base plate are correspondingly inserted into the positioning holes in the lower clamp plate.
Meanwhile, the adjusting base plate and the lower clamping plate can be integrally processed and formed from the perspective of convenient operation, and the adjusting base plate is turned over from the side part and is inserted into the lower clamping plate during connection.
In order to improve the clamping and fixing effect of the pipeline, after the adjusting base plate is connected with the lower clamping plate, the pipeline is arranged in the wire groove formed by the guide block.
As described above, the multi-wire-diameter adaptive wire clamp and the method for clamping the pipeline of the invention have the advantages of convenience for stably clamping and fixing the pipelines with different wire diameters, no need of replacing wire clamps with different specifications, higher wire clamp universality and higher field construction efficiency.

If the pipeline diameter is large (as dimension a in fig. 3), the shim plate 3 is not required to be padded and the pipeline is arranged in the raceway 6 formed by the guide block 8 on the lower clamping plate 2.
