在一个实施方式中,本发明提供了防晒剂组合物,包含有机颜料微粒和甲基纤维素。
″有机颜料微粒″指的是小于约250nm,优选小于约200nm的碳基颗粒。
在一个实施方式中,有机颜料微粒是双辛酚三唑(bisoctrizole)。双辛酚三唑(INCI名称:亚甲基双苯并三唑基四甲基丁基苯酚)是基于苯并三唑的有机化合物,其作为在UVA和UVB范围内都有效的广谱UV吸收剂发挥作用。双辛酚三唑可从CibaSpecialtyChemicals以商品名TINOSORBM获得。在一个实施方式中,有机颜料微粒以组合物的约0.1%至约50%重量,更优选1%至约25%重量的量存在。在最优选的实施方式中,有机颜料微粒以构成约10%活性的量存在。

其中所述有机颜料微粒为双辛酚三唑,
其中所述有机颜料微粒以组合物的0.1%至10%重量的量存在。

5.权利要求1的防晒剂组合物,其中所述防晒剂组合物不含羟丙基甲基纤维素。
6.权利要求1的防晒剂组合物,进一步包含至少一种另外的防晒剂试剂。
7.一种增强包含有机颜料微粒的防晒剂组合物的SPF或PPD至少之一的方法,包括:
在该防晒剂组合物中包含甲基纤维素;其中所述有机颜料微粒为双辛酚三唑,
其中所述甲基纤维素以大于1%至不大于5%的量存在且其中所述甲基纤维素具有1.47至3.08的DS甲氧基;和
其中所述有机颜料微粒以组合物的0.1%至10%重量的量存在。
8.权利要求7的方法,其中所述防晒剂具有比不存在甲基纤维素的防晒剂高至少25%的SPF。
9.权利要求7或8的方法,其中所述防晒剂具有比不存在甲基纤维素的防晒剂高至少25%的PPD。
