A fuel metering valve is connected to a power supply through the high side driver circuit and is in grounding through the low side driver circuit. The microprocessor outputs a high side driver control signal to control the open and close of the high side driver circuit and outputs a low side driver control signal to control the open and close of the low side driver circuit. A fuel metering valve drive diagnostic result is outputted according to current sampling from the fuel metering valve to the high side driver circuit, current sampling from the fuel metering valve to the low side driver circuit, and voltage sampling of the fuel metering valve and the low side driver circuit.
