背景技术
头发和/或皮肤的调理是个人护理组合物(特别是洗发剂、沐浴露和其他个人护理清洁剂)的最重要的属性之一。本发明技术人员持续寻找更有效、更经济或两者均具备的调理剂。
共聚合乙烯与丙烯酸产生乙烯-丙烯酸(EAA)共聚物,其称为柔性热塑性塑料。发现EAA能用于泡罩包装和粘合层压,尤其用于食品包装应用。EAA通常是阴离子的,且头发和皮肤是带负电荷的。根据所已知的,本领域技术人员至今没有发现EAA在个人护理组合物中的用途。
发明简述

发明详述
在一个实施方式中,本发明提供在pH6时具有净阳离子电荷的化妆品用可接受的、阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物。
“化妆品用可接受”是指通常用于个人护理组合物中的成分,且旨在强调当以通常用于个人护理组合物的量存在时具有毒性的材料不预期作为本发明的一部分。
在一个实施方式中,所述在pH6时具有净阳离子电荷的阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物通过使仲胺、叔胺、芳族胺、氨基烷基咪唑和/或酰胺胺(amidoamine)与乙烯/丙烯酸(EAA)共聚物反应而形成。
优选地,所述EAA共聚物包含大于约15重量%的丙烯酸,优选大于约17重量%的丙烯酸,更优选约20重量%的丙烯酸。优选的EAA共聚物是PRIMACOR 5990共聚物(20重量%丙烯酸),其熔融指数为1300g/10分钟(ASTM法D-1238于190℃)以及布氏粘度为350°F时13,000cps,且可从陶氏化学公司获得。另一种优选的EAA共聚物是PRIMACOR 5980i共聚物(20.5重量%丙烯酸),其熔融指数为300g/10分钟(ASTM法D-1238于190℃),可从陶氏化学公司获得。EAA共聚物也可从E.I.du Pont de Nemours and Company,Inc以商标NUCREL 2806获得。乙烯-丙烯酸和乙烯-甲基丙烯酸共聚物描述在美国专利4,599,392、4,988,781和5,938,437中,各专利以引用方式全部合并于此。
酰胺胺是由脂肪酸和二胺形成的酰胺。在优选的实施方式中,选择氨基烷基咪唑,优选的氨基烷基咪唑是1-(3-氨基丙基)-咪唑。
在pH6时具有净阳离子电荷的阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物可以多种形式使用,例如粉末或者分散体。
在一个实施方式中,本发明提供个人护理组合物,其含有在pH6时具有净阳离子电荷的化妆品用可接受的、阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物和至少一种化妆品用可接受的表面活性剂、润肤剂或化妆品用活性剂。
“个人护理”涉及局部施用于个人(包括口、耳和鼻腔,但非摄入)的组合物。个人护理组合物的实例包括皮肤护理产品(例如,面霜、保湿剂、免洗液和冲洗液(rinse off lotion)、防晒霜、粉底、染眉毛油、眼线、唇膏、清洁剂等)、口腔护理产品(例如牙膏和嗽口水)、指甲护理产品(例如指甲油和调理剂)和头发护理产品(包括洗发剂、免洗调理剂和冲洗调理剂、定型凝胶和头发定型剂)。
在一个实施方式中,阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物以个人护理组合物的约0.05重量%到约2.0重量%、优选约0.1重量%到约2.0重量%、更优选约0.5重量%到约2.0重量%存在。这包括所有的再组合范围,以及大于0.05重量%、大于0.1重量%和大于0.5重量%,以及小于2.0重量%的范围。
当存在时,所述表面活性剂是阳离子、阴离子、非离子或两性离子表面活性剂或其混合物。在一个实施方式中,所述表面活性剂以约1重量%到约30重量%、优选约5重量%到约25重量%、更优选约5重量%到约20重量%存在。
在一个实施方式中,所述阴离子表面活性剂是月桂醇聚醚-(1-4)硫酸酯铵盐(ammonium laureth sulfate)、月桂醇硫酸酯铵盐(ammoniumlauryl sulfate)、月桂醇聚醚-(1-4)硫酸酯钠盐(sodium laureth sulfate)或月桂醇硫酸酯钠盐(sodium lauryl sulfate)。
优选地,所述混合物是阴离子表面活性剂和两性离子表面活性剂的组合。在一个实施方式中,混合物是阴离子表面活性剂和第二表面活性剂(即椰油酰两性基二乙酸二钠、癸基葡萄糖苷或椰油酰胺丙基甜菜碱)的组合。
在优选的实施方式中,所述表面活性剂是月桂醇聚醚-(1-4)硫酸酯钠盐(例如可从Cognis以商标STANDAPOL ES购得)和椰油酰两性基二乙酸二钠(例如可从Henkel以商标VELVETEX CDC购得)的混合物。当所述表面活性剂是月桂醇聚醚-(1-4)硫酸酯钠盐和椰油酰两性基二乙酸二钠的混合物时,月桂醇聚醚-(1-4)硫酸酯钠盐与椰油酰两性基二乙酸二钠的比率为约15∶1到约2∶1,最优选约10∶1。

在一个实施方式中,所述组合物包括鲸蜡硬脂醇、环烷基硅氧烷或硬脂酰胺丙基二甲胺中的至少一种。在一个实施方式中,鲸蜡硬脂醇以约0.1重量%到约5重量%、优选约0.5重量%到约3重量%、更优选约0.8重量%到约2.5重量%存在。在一个实施方式中,环烷基硅氧烷以约0.1重量%到约5重量%、优选约0.5重量%到约3重量%、更优选约0.8重量%到约2.5重量%存在。在一个实施方式中,硬脂酰胺丙基二甲胺以约0.1重量%到约5重量%、优选约0.5重量%到约3重量%、更优选约0.8重量%到约2.5重量%存在。
在一个实施方式中,所述组合物包括润肤剂、保湿剂或其他调理活性剂,例如,2-吡咯烷酮-5-羧酸及其盐和酯、烷基葡萄糖烷氧基化物或其酯、脂肪醇、脂肪酸酯、乙二醇,以及尤其是甲基葡萄糖乙氧基化物或者丙氧基化物及其硬脂酸酯、肉豆蔻酸异丙酯、羊毛脂或者鲸蜡醇、芦荟、聚硅氧烷、丙二醇、甘油和山梨醇。

其他合适的润肤剂包括二辛基醚、C12-15烷基苯甲酸酯、DC 200FLUID 350硅酮油(可购自Dow Corning Corp)、棕榈酸异丙酯、棕榈酸辛基酯、肉豆蔻酸异丙酯、硬脂酸十六烷基酯、硬脂酸丁酯、油酸癸基酯、乙酰基甘油酯、C12-15醇的辛酸酯和苯甲酸酯、醇和多元醇(例如乙二醇和甘油基)的辛酸酯和癸酸酯、蓖麻醇酸酯(例如己二酸异丙基酯)、月桂酸己基酯和十二酸辛基酯、马来酸二辛基酯、聚苯基三甲基硅氧烷和芦荟提取物。固体或半固体化妆品用润肤剂包括二月桂酸甘油基酯、氢化羊毛脂、羟基化羊毛脂、乙酰化羊毛脂、矿脂、羊毛酸异丙酯、肉豆蔻酸丁酯、鲸蜡醇豆蔻酸酯、肉豆蔻酸肉豆蔻酯、乳酸肉豆蔻酯、鲸蜡醇、异硬脂醇和羊毛酸异鲸蜡酯。在优选的实施方式中,所述润肤剂是豆蔻酸酯、硬脂酸酯、棕榈酸酯、椰油酸酯、椰油-辛酸酯/癸酸酯、油酸酯、己基癸醇、辛基十二醇、辛酸/癸酸三酸甘油酯或者椰油甘油酯,及其烷氧基化物中的至少一种。
预期的调理剂包括司拉氯铵、二鲸蜡基二甲基氯化铵、月桂基甲基葡糖醚-10羟丙基二甲基氯化铵和调理聚合物,例如聚季铵盐-10、聚季铵盐-24和壳聚糖及其衍生物。
本发明的个人护理组合物的其他任选组分包括化妆品用可接受的润肤剂、防晒剂、表面活性剂、乳化剂、防腐剂、流变学改良剂、着色剂、防腐剂、pH调节剂、推进剂、还原剂、芳香剂、起泡剂、鞣剂、脱毛剂、增香剂、收敛剂、抗菌剂、除臭剂、防汗剂、驱虫剂、漂白剂、美白剂(lightener)、抗头屑剂、粘合剂、抛光剂、强化剂、填充剂、防护材料或杀生物剂。

防腐剂包括醇类、醛类、甲基氯异噻唑啉酮和甲基异噻唑啉酮、对羟基苯甲酸酯,尤其是对羟基苯甲酸甲酯、对羟基苯甲酸丙酯、戊二醛和乙醇。
pH调节剂包括无机和有机酸和碱,特别是氨水、柠檬酸、磷酸、乙酸和氢氧化钠。
还原剂包括巯基乙酸铵、对苯二酚和硫代乙酸钠。
芳香剂可以是通过提取从上述天然物质或合成制备物质中获得的醛类、酮类或油类。通常,芳香剂和辅助材料(例如固定剂、补充剂、稳定剂和溶剂)一起使用。
杀生物剂包括抗微生物剂、杀菌剂、杀真菌剂、杀藻剂、防霉剂(mildicide)、消毒剂、抗菌剂和杀虫剂。
达到由这种组分提供的所需性质的任选组分的有效量可以由本领域技术人员容易地确定。
在优选的实施方式中,个人护理组合物是洗发剂、沐浴露或脸部清洁剂,优选洗发剂。
在另一个优选的实施方式中,所述个人护理组合物是冲洗头发调理剂。这种调理剂可进一步含有至少一种脂肪醇、脂肪胺、阳离子单季铵盐(monoquat)、聚季铵盐(polyquat)、聚硅氧烷或者其他油。
在另一个优选的实施方式中,所述个人护理组合物是免洗头发调理剂。
在又一个优选的实施方式中,所述个人护理组合物是皮肤调理剂。
具体实施方式
以下实施例仅用于说明性目的,而不意欲限制本发明范围。除非另作说明,所有百分比为重量百分比。
实施例1
本发明示例的个人护理组合物包含表1所示组分以形成洗发剂。

根据以下方案制备阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物。在氮气气氛下在三颈圆底烧瓶中混合PRIMACOR 5980(20重量%丙烯酸,278mmolAA)和1-(3-氨基丙基)-咪唑)(883mmol,4倍摩尔过量),所述圆底烧瓶带有出口,用于吹扫通过回流冷凝器。作为万一氮气流损失的预防措施,该出口由鼓泡器捕获,以阻止氧气扩散。氧气流速必须足够快速去除水副产物。
烧瓶在约170℃的油浴中浸48小时。48小时后,熔融物将显现透明和浅黄色(棕色表明不需要的氧化降解)。将熔融物倒入盘中冷却,然后用丙酮洗涤来去除未反应的咪唑。可切开材料,再次用丙酮洗涤,干燥然后研磨成细粉。该粉末用丙酮洗涤和/或在丙酮中搅拌以去除任何残余咪唑。
为制备个人护理组合物,混合月桂醇聚醚-(1-4)硫酸酯钠盐和椰油酰两性基二乙酸二钠并在缓慢搅拌下(大约500rpm)加热至75℃,以形成表面活性剂溶液。以大约500rpm加入珠光剂,保持该速度15分钟。混合物被缓慢冷却至约35℃。如果存在,加入聚硅氧烷乳状液并以约750rpm的搅拌器速度使其分散约15分钟。然后缓慢加入阳离子聚合物并使其完全分散(约30分钟)。加入柠檬酸来调节pH,也加入防腐剂。所得混合物被冷却至25℃,并用去离子水将制剂调节至100%。
实施例2(对比例)
示例的对比个人护理组合物包含表2所示组分。

实施例3
基本上按照实施例1和2所述方案制备制剂,并如表3A和3B所述进行测试。

要求20人的评审团来感觉并梳理干发和湿发状态的头发条,以确定湿发和干发感觉的优先选择和湿发和干发的易梳理性。对于每位评审者,比较购自International Hair Importers and Products Inc.NY(USA)的欧洲未受损棕色(Virgin-Brown)头发的预洗并预水合的头发条,其中一束头发条用0.5g一种组合物处理,另一束头发条用0.5g另一种组合物处理,如表3A和3B所列。组合物渗入头发一分钟,然后在约38℃下在流动的自来水下冲洗(约0.4gal/min)。要求各评审者比较头发条并陈述哪束头发条梳理/感觉起来更光滑。不允许回答“相同”。报告的号码是评审者相对于另一束更喜欢这束的号码。
本发明的组合物在湿发和干发中的感觉和易梳理性上明显更好。
实施例4
本发明示例的个人护理组合物包含表4所示组分以形成冲洗调理剂。

加入A相组分,混合并在搅拌下加热至75℃。在单独反应容器中,加入B相组分,混合并在搅拌下加热至75℃。在75℃在470rpm搅拌下混合A相和B相。搅拌下使反应混合物冷却至室温。在35℃下添加C相。如果需要,用50%柠檬酸使溶液pH降低至约4至约5。

实施例6
基本上按照实施例4和5所述的方案制备制剂,并如表6所述进行测试。
表6
要求经训练以评价化妆产品对头发的性能的十位专家评审者组成的评审团评价梳理性能和感觉。对于每位评审者,比较购自InternationalHair Importers and Products Inc.NY(USA)的欧洲未受损棕色头发的两束预洗并预水合的头发条,其中一束头发条用0.5g一种组合物处理,另一束头发条用0.5g另一种组合物处理,如表6所列。组合物渗入头发一分钟,然后在约38℃下在流动的自来水下冲洗(约0.4gal/min)。将头发条悬挂并干燥过夜。要求各评审者比较头发条并陈述哪束头发条更易梳理以及哪束感觉起来更丝滑、柔软和光滑。不允许回答“相同”。报告的号码是评审者相对于另一个更喜欢这个的号码。
本发明组合物的感觉和易梳理性明显好于主要的单季铵盐调理组分。
实施例7
如下所述制备阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物的分散体:将PRIMACOR 5980i(100g,0.278mol丙烯酸)和1-(3-氨基丙基)咪唑(104.3g,0.833mol)加入配有顶置式搅拌轴、回流冷凝器和氮气进口的500mL三颈圆底烧瓶中。烧瓶浸在180℃硅油浴中。混合物搅拌2天。2天以后,将浅黄色粘性溶液倒入硼硅酸玻璃(pyrex)结晶皿中然后冷却至环境温度。然后聚合物在低温下研磨成粉末并用过量丙酮洗涤过夜。聚合物经过滤、在真空中在35℃下干燥一天。在140℃和20000psi下将聚合物压入薄膜中。基本上按照这种方案,在80℃获得1H NMR(C2D2Cl4),且经计算丙烯酸至酰胺丙基咪唑的转化率为82.5%。
将30.1g酰胺丙基咪唑取代的聚合物、磷酸(7.24g)和水置于配有Cowles叶片的Parr反应容器中。缓慢搅拌下将材料加热至125℃。一旦到达设定温度,高速(约1800rpm)运转混合器25分钟。停止加热并继续搅拌直到温度冷却到至少30℃。然后收集最终的水性分散体。
应理解本发明不局限于此处具体公开并例示的实施方式。本发明的各种修改对本领域技术人员而言是显而易见的。这种变化和修改可在不离开所附权利要求的范围的情况下进行。
而且,各描述的范围包括范围的所有组合和再组合,以及此处包含的具体数值。另外,本发明引用或者描述的各专利、专利申请和出版物的内容以引用方式全部合并于此。
Claims (13)
1.化妆品用可接受的、阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物,其在pH6时具有净阳离子电荷。
2.个人护理组合物,包含:
如权利要求1所述的聚合物,和
至少一种化妆品用可接受的表面活性剂、润肤剂或化妆品用活性剂。
3.如权利要求2所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物由乙烯/丙烯酸共聚物形成,所述共聚物包含大于约15重量%的丙烯酸,优选大于约17重量%的丙烯酸,更优选约20重量%的丙烯酸。
4.如权利要求2所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物由氨基烷基咪唑或酰胺胺中的至少一种形成。
5.如权利要求2所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物由乙烯/丙烯酸共聚物形成,所述共聚物包含约20重量%丙烯酸和1-(3-氨基丙基)-咪唑。
6.如权利要求2所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物以约0.05重量%到约2.0重量%、优选约0.1重量%到约2.0重量%、更优选约0.5重量%到约2.0重量%存在。
7.如权利要求2所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述表面活性剂存在,且所述个人护理组合物是洗发剂。
8.如权利要求2所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述个人护理组合物是调理剂。
9.如权利要求7所述的个人护理组合物,其中存在月桂醇聚醚-(1-4)硫酸酯钠盐和椰油酰两性基二乙酸二钠,且其中所述阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物以约0.05重量%到约2.0重量%存在。
10.如权利要求7或9所述的个人护理组合物,还包含二甲聚硅氧烷。
11.如权利要求10所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述二甲聚硅氧烷以约0.1重量%到约5重量%、优选约0.75重量%到约3重量%、更优选约1重量%到约2重量%存在。
12.如权利要求2或8所述的个人护理组合物,包含鲸蜡硬脂醇、环烷基硅氧烷或硬脂酰胺丙基二甲胺中的至少一种。
13.如权利要求2所述的个人护理组合物,其中所述化妆品用可接受的、阳离子改性的乙烯丙烯酸聚合物为水性分散体形式。
