背景技术
特别在机械制造中,通常必须使零件设有涂层,涂层能够实现不同的作用,例如用作摩擦涂层或用作两个零件之间的连接涂层。以制造由金属或金属合金构成的铸件为例,其中,其它零件、诸如浇铸零件由与该铸件不同的金属材料浇铸成型。这方面例如指的是:由轻金属合金制成的铸件是用于内燃机的曲轴箱。在该曲轴箱中浇铸成型气缸套,该气缸套通常由铸铁材料、钢或适宜摩擦的轻金属合金构成,例如为含硅量较高的和/或具有金属间相的材料。另一个例子是:铸件为由钢材或铸铁构成的环圈,该环圈在由轻金属合金制成的制动鼓中浇铸成型。
在此,在浇铸零件的材料和铸件的材料之间需要具有牢固的结合,以使浇铸零件在铸件中能够实现充分的机械固定,并且在浇铸零件和铸件之间确保实现良好的热传递。然而,对于浇铸零件和铸件所采用的材料通常互不相容,且相互间不能形成牢固的结合。为此,通常使浇铸零件在其与铸件接触的表面上设有涂层,该涂层一方面实现在浇铸零件上的良好粘附,而另一方面与铸件材料的形成合金。
作为涂层,不仅用于浇铸零件,而且还用于铸件,通常采用热喷涂镀层,使涂层通过公知的热喷涂方法(例如:线材火焰喷涂、粉末火焰喷涂、电弧线喷涂、等离子喷涂、HVOF喷涂、冷气动力喷涂等等)涂覆在零件的表面上。例如在DE102005027828A1中公开了这种类型的涂层。
然而作为热喷涂方法,通常仅通过物理结合而使产生的热喷涂镀层粘附在零件上。而且一般情况下,热喷涂镀层仍不能避免氧化物结构和孔隙率。所有这些问题在热喷涂镀层的粘附抗拉强度上可以体现出来,该粘附抗拉强度通过粘附拉伸试验来测定,并且根据材料和实施条件,粘附抗拉强度通常在10至50N/mm2的范围内(采用线材火焰喷涂和电弧线喷涂时,通常在10至30N/mm2的范围内)。因此具有这样的危险:在较大载荷的情况下会导致热喷涂镀层的脱落。由于对热喷涂和加工监控的投入较高,因此这种热喷涂镀层成本较高。还公知这样的涂层,该涂层通过将待涂层的零件浸入到锌合金熔液或锌基合金熔液中而获得。由此一般形成浸镀层,在硬化之后该浸镀层具有充分牢固的粘附性。然而这种涂层对于浇铸零件的适用并不可靠,这是因为,在包围浇铸过程中由于锌的热延展性会导致镀层从浇铸零件脱落,此外,在相对于浇铸材料的临界面上通过由Kirkendall孔洞形成的孔隙使镀层衰弱。
发明内容
因此,本发明的目的在于,提供一种用于浇铸零件的涂层以及一种至少在一部分表面上涂层的浇铸零件,其中,在所获得的涂层和零件之间实现牢固的结合,特别能够成本低廉地实现良好的粘附性。
上述目的通过这样的涂层来解决,该涂层由电镀涂覆的镍制成;而且还通过这样的浇铸零件来解决,该浇铸零件至少在其一部分表面上设有这样的涂层,该涂层为电镀涂覆的镍镀层。
本发明的涂层以及本发明的浇铸零件的特征在于,以特别简单和低成本的方式实现浇铸零件表面和涂层之间的牢固连接。镍不受限制地与其它金属材料相结合。镍例如与铸铁形成合金,并且与铝和铝合金形成化合物。镍的热延展系数为13.3×10-6K-1,并由此例如在铸铁(12.0×10-6K-1)和铝合金组(21.0×10-6K-1)的数值之间。尽管仍然存在差别,但是在包围浇铸过程中经涂层的浇铸零件的热延展性不会造成电镀涂覆的镍镀层与浇铸零件之间的结合衰弱。
相比于热喷涂镀层,本发明的涂层在浇铸零件上具有明显更牢固的粘附性。而且对于浇铸零件还可以选择任意的金属材料,这是因为,电镀涂覆的镍镀层能够与浇铸零件的材料形成金属间结合或合金。
本发明的浇铸零件可以通过常用的方式继续再加工,并适用于多种用途。本发明的浇铸零件例如可以以技术人员公知的方式,通过重力浇铸、低压浇铸、压铸、挤压铸造而在另一个铸件中浇铸成型。还可以对本发明的经涂层的零件进行预热处理。
具有优势的其它方案由从属权利要求给出。
适宜地,使涂层的层厚度为3μm至80μm。优选层厚度为5μm至50μm,由此在良好的抗切强度和较小的材料消耗之间实现有利的平衡。特别优选层厚度为15μm。
根据使用环境,本发明的涂层还可以含有离散的固体材料,例如由金属或塑料组成的加强纤维或焦硅酸。由此可以使本发明涂层的稳定性进一步提高。此外,还可以在浇铸零件表面和本发明涂层之间电镀分离出一层较薄的铜镀层。
本发明的涂层可以使表面具有广泛涉及的性能,并由此特别适于在多方面条件下应用。例如,表面粗糙度适宜为5μm至1400μm。表面可以实现完整浇铸或车削预处理。在涂覆本发明的涂层之前还可以对表面先进行放射处理,例如采用研磨材料、诸如玻璃珠、刚石砂或钢丸。
浇铸零件例如可以由钢材或铸铁、可锻铸铁或轻金属合金制成,轻金属合金例如为铝基合金或镁基合金。铸铁可以通过铸造、锻造、轧制或以粉末金属方式进行变形加工。例如对于材料典型地,对于浇铸零件适于采用铝合金,该铝合金含有直至30重量%的硅,和/或直至4重量%的铜,和/或直至4重量%的镁,和/或直至4重量%的镍;还适于采用铝锌合金或铜铝镍合金(铝黄铜);含有直至14重量%锡的铜锡合金(铸铁锡黄铜);含有直至44重量%锌的铜锌合金;铜镍合金或铜镍铁合金;由前述合金的奥氏体或铁素体钢中选择的钢;基于钛的合金。
本发明的典型应用示例是气缸套,该气缸套设有本发明的涂层,并且在发动机组的曲轴箱中浇铸成型。另一个示例是环圈,该环圈设有本发明的涂层,并且环圈在制动鼓中浇铸成型,或者还用于镶圈,该镶圈在活塞中浇铸成型。
具体实施方式
接下来,对本发明的实施例进行详细说明。
将一个零件在其表面上镀上涂层。该零件可以具有任意结构,例如平面式、环状、不匀称的结构等。例如为用于内燃机的气缸套筒或用于制动鼓的环圈。在涂层之前,对零件的表面可以例如用刚石砂进行清洁处理。表面可以铸造完成,并且相对光滑。表面还可以进行车削预处理,或粗糙处理,例如在刷铸加工中制成。
为了实现涂层的预制,使由铸铁制成的、用于内燃机曲轴箱的、光滑且可旋转的气缸套用可螺纹连接的塑料罩封住,从而避免镍分离到气缸套内部。通过螺纹连接,还可以从气缸套解除电连接。气缸套的外侧面以及顶侧和底侧的正端面首先采用超声波进行脱脂,然后进行阳极脱脂。在每个处理步骤之后都要进行酸洗和多次冲洗。这种预处理方式对于技术人员是常用的。
本发明的涂层可以以磨砂镀镍或电镀镍的方式进行涂覆,其中,采用成本较低的磨砂镀镍就足以满足要求。作为电解质,水溶液中的硫酸镍作为主要成分,例如基于棉絮状的镍电解质。还可以含有固体材料,诸如加强纤维或焦硅酸(pyrogeneKieselsaeuren),在制造过程中,这些固体离散在所生成的涂层中。
本发明涂层的层厚度以公知的方式经由参数电流密度、浴温度和电解质的PH值来控制。使分离速率保持在每分钟1.0μm至1.4μm。对于该实施例中经涂层的气缸套,典型的分离速率为每分钟1.2μm,例如电流密度为6A/dm2,浴温度为60℃以及电解质的PH值为2.5至3.0。电极适宜地这样构成,即,使电极包围住呈圆柱护套形式的气缸套,从而实现特别均匀的涂层。

4.根据权利要求3所述的涂层,其特征在于,所述涂层的层厚度为15μm。
5.一种由金属材料制成的浇铸零件,所述浇铸零件至少在其一部分表面上设有由金属涂层材料构成的涂层,其特征在于,设有这样的涂层,该涂层为电镀涂覆的镍镀层,其中所述涂层还包含有离散的固体材料,该固体材料实施为加强纤维。
6.根据权利要求5所述的浇铸零件,其特征在于,所述涂层的层厚度为3μm至80μm。
7.根据权利要求6所述的浇铸零件,其特征在于,所述涂层的层厚度为5μm至50μm。
8.根据权利要求7所述的浇铸零件,其特征在于,所述涂层的层厚度为15μm。
9.根据权利要求5所述的浇铸零件,其特征在于,所述涂层具有由铜制成的电镀分离的承载层。
10.根据权利要求5所述的浇铸零件,其特征在于,所述涂层在表面区域上涂覆的粗糙度为5μm至1400μm。
11.根据权利要求5所述的浇铸零件,其特征在于,所述涂层涂覆在完整浇铸或车削预处理的表面区域上。
12.根据权利要求5所述的浇铸零件,其特征在于,所述涂层涂覆在经放射处理的表面区域上。
13.根据权利要求5所述的浇铸零件,其特征在于,所述浇铸零件由钢材或铸铁或轻金属合金制成。
14.根据权利要求5所述的浇铸零件,所述浇铸零件为气缸套,所述气缸套特别在发动机组的曲轴箱中浇铸成型。
15.根据权利要求5所述的浇铸零件,所述浇铸零件为环圈,所述环圈在制动鼓中浇铸成型;或者,所述浇铸零件为镶圈,所述镶圈在内燃机的活塞中浇铸成型。
16.一种零件,其由铸件和被该铸件包围浇铸的根据权利要求5所述的浇铸零件组成。
17.根据权利要求16所述的零件,该零件为发动机组的曲轴箱,该曲轴箱具有浇铸成型的气缸套。
18.根据权利要求16所述的零件,该零件为具有浇铸成型的环圈的制动鼓。
