Description
Technical Field
The embodiment of the invention relates to the technical field of communication, in particular to a transparent container management method and device based on relocation messages.
Background
In the prior art, when a handover occurs between the same systems or between different systems, for a transparent container in a relocation message, the current protocol specification needs to adopt a uniform OCTECT SRING (eight-bit string) form (i.e. a byte stream form). Based on the specification, if a handover occurs between RNCs (Radio Network controllers) in a TD-SCDMA (time Division-Synchronous Code Division Multiple Access) system, when an RNC before the handover (i.e., a source RNC) transmits a relocation message to an RNC after the handover (i.e., a destination RNC), information in a byte stream form is in a transparent container.
In the process of implementing the invention, the inventor finds that at least the following problems exist in the prior art:
before the transparent container is in a unified byte stream form specified by a protocol, if switching occurs between RNCs in a TD-SCDMA system, when a source RNC sends a relocation message to a target RNC, the transparent container is information in a data structure form; therefore, among the currently existing RNCs, some RNCs may adopt a byte stream form, and some RNCs may adopt a data structure form, thereby causing compatibility problems among the RNCs. For example, in the process of handover between the source RNC and the destination RNC, if the transparent container of the source RNC is information in the form of byte stream, but the transparent container of the destination RNC is information in the form of data structure, a codec error may occur.

Detailed Description
For the switching process, when switching occurs between the same systems or between different systems, for the transparent container in the relocation message (contained in the relocation request message and the relocation command message), the current protocol specification needs to adopt a uniform byte stream form; however, this method may cause compatibility problems between RNCs, and codec errors, and requires that the core network be compatible with both types.
In view of the above problems, as shown in tables 1 and 2, the parameters related to the relocation request message and the contents of the transparent container, as shown in tables 3 and 4, the parameters related to the relocation command message and the contents of the transparent container; for the transparent container in the relocation request message and the relocation command message, the scheme is that the TD-SCDMA system and other systems are required to encode and decode the transparent container according to the form of a data structure; the other scheme requires that the TD-SCDMA system carries out coding and decoding according to the form of a data structure, and other systems carry out coding and decoding according to the form of byte streams and carry out corresponding conversion by a core network.
Table 1 relocation request message
TABLE 2 Source to destination transparent containers
Table 3 relocation command message
TABLE 4 destination to Source transparent Container
In the first scheme, the TD-SCDMA system and other systems have higher requirements, and it is required to explicitly know the source system and the destination system in the switching process during the encoding and decoding process, and different transparent container structures are used for encoding and decoding according to different processes during encoding and decoding; and because each manufacturer is relatively independent when realizing the coding and decoding function, and has certain irrelevance with the process, if the transparent container is defined according to the above, the original coding and decoding function needs to be greatly changed, and has no relative independence any more, thereby having influence on the realization and the performance of the equipment.
In the second scheme, the TD-SCDMA system may add the following description in the RANAP (Radio access network Application Part) protocol used: for the transparent container in the relocation request message and the relocation command message, coding and decoding are still carried out according to the form of a data structure; the scheme only requires that the TD-SCDMA system still carries out coding and decoding according to the data structure form, but other systems do not require coding and decoding according to the data structure form and still carry out coding and decoding according to the byte stream form, so that the condition that access equipment at two sides understand the transparent container inconsistently exists when the TD-SCDMA system and other systems carry out intersystem switching.
In summary, in the above embodiments, there is ambiguity in understanding the transparent container, and therefore how to solve the filling and using problem of the transparent container is crucial to the implementation of the switching process. Based on the foregoing analysis, embodiments of the present invention provide a transparent container management method and apparatus based on a relocation message, so as to effectively solve the foregoing problems, and make the handover process not comprehensively ambiguous. If the switching occurs between RNCs in the TD-SCDMA system, the transparent container in the relocation message uses a data structure form; if the UE is switched from the TD-SCDMA system to other non-TD-SCDMA systems, the transparent container in the relocation message uses a byte stream form; therefore, better compatibility of the repositioning message structure is ensured, the encoding and decoding of the repositioning message are easier to realize, and encoding and decoding errors can not be caused.
The technical solutions in the present application will be described clearly and completely with reference to the accompanying drawings in the present application, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are some, not all embodiments of the present application. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present application.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a transparent container management method based on relocation messages, so as to manage a transparent container of relocation messages in a handover process, as shown in fig. 1, the method includes the following steps:
step 101, network side equipment determines that UE is switched from a source TD-SCDMA system to a target system; if the target system is a TD-SCDMA system, it indicates that the UE is switched between RNCs in the TD-SCDMA system, and step 102 is executed; if the target system is not the TD-SCDMA system, it indicates that the UE is switched between different systems, and step 103 is executed.
When the target System is not a TD-SCDMA System, the target System includes but is not limited to an LTE (Long Term Evolution) System, a GSM (Global System for mobile communications) System, and the like, and the LTE System is taken as an example for description.
Step 102, the network side equipment determines transparent container information in the relocation message by using a data structure form; namely, the network side device uses the data structure form to perform coding and decoding processing on the transparent container in the relocation message so as to determine the information located in the transparent container in the relocation message.
In the embodiment of the present invention, if the target system is a TD-SCDMA system, it indicates that the UE is switched between RNCs in the TD-SCDMA system, and the network side device may be a source RNC (which may be considered as a device in the source TD-SCDMA system) or a target RNC (which may be considered as a device in the target system, and in this case, the target system is also a TD-SCDMA system); when the network side equipment is a source RNC, the Relocation message comprises a Relocation request Required message; when the network side device is the destination RNC, the Relocation message includes a Relocation Command message.
Further, when the Relocation message is a Relocation Required message, the transparent container information is information of a source-to-target side transparent container, that is, the network side device needs to use a data structure form to perform encoding and decoding processing on the source-to-target side transparent container in the Relocation Required message; when the Relocation message is a Relocation Command message, the transparent container information is information of the target-to-source side transparent container, that is, the network side device needs to perform encoding and decoding processing on the target-to-source side transparent container in the Relocation Command message by using a data structure form.
Step 103, the network side device determines the transparent container information in the relocation message by using a byte stream form; namely, the network side device uses a byte stream form to perform coding and decoding processing on the transparent container in the relocation message so as to determine the information located in the transparent container in the relocation message.
In the embodiment of the present invention, if the target system is not a TD-SCDMA system, it indicates that the UE is switched between different systems, that is, the UE is switched from the TD-SCDMA system to the LTE system, and the network side device may be a device in the source TD-SCDMA system (e.g., an RNC) or a device in the target system (e.g., a device in the LTE system, such as an access device in the LTE system); when the network side equipment is the equipment in the source TD-SCDMA system, the Relocation message comprises a Relocation request Required message; when the network side device is the device in the target system, the Relocation message comprises a Relocation Command message.
Further, when the Relocation message is a Relocation Required message, the transparent container information is information of a source-to-target side transparent container, that is, the network side device needs to perform encoding and decoding processing on the source-to-target side transparent container in the Relocation Required message in a byte stream form; when the Relocation message is a Relocation Command message, the transparent container information is information of the target-to-source side transparent container, that is, the network side device needs to perform encoding and decoding processing on the target-to-source side transparent container in the Relocation Command message in a byte stream form.
In the above embodiment of the present invention, when the network side device is a device in the source TD-SCDMA system, the network side device further needs to send a Relocation Required message carrying the transparent container information to the destination system; or, when the network side device is a device in the destination system, the network side device further needs to send a Relocation Command message carrying the transparent container information to the source TD-SCDMA system.
In summary, the embodiment of the present invention modifies the source-to-target transparent container in the relocation request message and the target-to-source transparent container in the relocation command message, so that when a handover occurs between RNCs in the TD-SCDMA system and a handover occurs between the TD-SCDMA system and the LTE system, different types (such as a data structure type or a byte stream type) are used in the transparent containers for performing coding and decoding processing; namely when switching occurs between RNCs in the TD-SCDMA system, a data structure form is used in the transparent container; when switching between the TD-SCDMA system and the LTE system occurs, a byte stream form is used in the transparent container. Through the processing (namely modifying the transparent container in the relocation message in the protocol), the better compatibility of the relocation message structure is ensured, the coding and decoding of the relocation message are easier to realize, and coding and decoding errors can not be caused. In addition, the structure of the relocation message has no ambiguity, and the method is beneficial to the specific implementation of different network elements of different manufacturers.
The relocation request message and relocation command message provided by the embodiments of the present invention are explained in detail below. As shown in tables 5 and 6, the source-to-destination transparent containers are corresponding to those in table 1; as shown in table 7, the corresponding destination-to-source transparent containers are based on table 3.
