The present invention relates to a hand-held tool, and more particularly, to a hand-held tool provided with a battery pack.
Background
In order to relieve the inconvenience of long power cords, a battery pack is often arranged on the hand-held tool to provide power for the operator. The housing of a conventional hand-held tool is provided in an elongated shape, and the working assembly is located at the front of the housing; the motor is arranged close to the working assembly and is accommodated in the middle of the shell for holding; the battery pack is arranged at the rear part of the motor. The handheld tool is compact in structure, small in size, flexible and suitable for machining small workpieces.
However, the heaviest parts of the tool are generally the working component and the motor, the working component and the motor of the handheld tool are arranged in the middle and the front of the whole machine, the weight of the whole machine is unbalanced, an operator must apply extra force to keep the tool stable to operate the handheld tool smoothly, the cutting precision is low, and the handheld tool is easy to feel fatigued during operation.

Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1-4, a hand tool 100 includes a housing 20, a motor 44 disposed within the housing 20, a saw blade 42 driven by the motor 44, and a transmission assembly 50 for transmitting power. In accordance with the usual manner of use of such hand-held tools by an operator, the left side in fig. 1 is defined as the front of the hand-held tool 100 and the right side is defined as the rear of the hand-held tool 100. The housing 20 includes a housing front 22, a housing rear 26, and a grip 24 connecting the housing front 22 and the housing rear 26. The housing 20 may be an injection molded part and may be constructed from two half shells. A transmission assembly 50 is provided between the motor 44 and the saw blade 42 for transmitting power from the motor 44 to the saw blade 42 to drive the saw blade 42 to rotate. The transmission assembly 50 includes a gear box 51 and a transmission shaft 52, which are respectively accommodated in the housing front portion 22 and the holding portion 24. A gear transmission mechanism is arranged in the gear box 51, and the gear transmission mechanism can be in worm gear transmission or bevel gear transmission, and converts the rotary motion of the motor along the X axis into the rotary motion of the saw blade along the Y axis. The saw blade 42 is mounted to a mounting portion 53 of the working head disposed within the front portion 22 of the housing. The mounting portion 53 of the working head may be a screw-fastening structure or a cam-clamping structure, and in the present embodiment, the mounting and releasing of the saw blade 42 is realized by the screw-fastening structure. A shield 28 is provided on the front housing portion 22 to prevent an operator's hand from accidentally contacting the saw blade 42, thereby providing a safety guard. The shield 28 surrounds the housing front 22 in a surrounding manner, the shield 28 includes a bottom plate 27, the shield bottom plate 27 is provided with a saw blade through hole 29, the shield bottom plate 27 contacts with the surface of the workpiece during operation, and the saw blade 42 passes through the saw blade through hole 29. The shroud 28 further includes four shroud sidewalls 70a-d that extend upwardly from the shroud floor 27 in a generally perpendicular configuration, and are slidably coupled to the housing front 22 by rails (not shown) and the mating portion 33. The guide rail is provided on one of the shroud 28 and the case front 22, and the mating portion is provided on the other of the shroud 28 and the case front 22. The mating portion 33 is configured to mate with and be movable along the guide track, the shield 28 is movable relative to the housing front 22 between a first position and a second position when the mating portion 33 is moved along the guide track, the saw blade 42 is not exposed from the blade through hole 29 when the shield 28 is in the first position, and the saw blade 42 is at least partially exposed from the blade through hole 29 when the shield 28 is in the second position, wherein the hand tool 100 is operable to machine a workpiece. The front housing portion 22 is further provided with a depth adjustment device 30 for adjusting the cutting depth, and the depth adjustment device 30 includes an arc-shaped opening 31 provided on the front housing portion, and a limiting device 32 movably installed in the arc-shaped opening. The spacing device 32 includes a clamping mechanism that clamps or unclamps the spacing device 32 relative to the housing sidewall to limit the range of movement of the shield 28 and thereby adjust the depth of cut of the saw blade 42. The grip portion 24 is provided with a switch assembly 48 for controlling the battery pack 60 to provide power to the motor 44, and the tips of the fingers of the operator are positioned adjacent to the switch assembly 48 in the normal gripping mode. The rear housing portion 26 has a motor 44 disposed therein, the axis of the motor 44 is parallel to the longitudinal extension direction of the housing 20, and a mounting portion 64 for mounting a battery pack of the battery pack 60 is disposed below the motor 44, wherein in the present embodiment, the mounting portion 64 includes a battery cavity 66 for accommodating the battery pack and an interface 54 for interfacing with the battery pack 60. The battery pack mounting portion 64 may also not include a battery cavity 66 for receiving a battery pack, and the battery pack 60 may be mounted to the housing rear portion 26 via rails or other attachment means to interface with the interface 54.
Referring to fig. 5, the battery pack 60 includes a main body extending along a longitudinal direction, and includes a base 61, an upper cover 63, and a battery unit 69 located between the base 61 and the upper cover 63, wherein the battery unit 69 is disposed in a triangular shape, and a contact terminal 68 is further disposed in the upper cover 63, and when the battery pack 60 is inserted into the housing 20, the contact terminal 68 is electrically connected to the interface 54 in the housing 20, so as to provide power for the motor 44. The base 61 is provided with a hook 62 that mates with a recess (not shown) provided in the housing rear 26 to lock and release the battery pack 60.
Referring to fig. 1, the housing rear portion 26 of the housing 20 is substantially parallelogram-shaped in cross-section, and the battery pack 60 is mounted on the hand tool 100 in a mounting direction F parallel to the axial line X of the motor 44; when the battery pack 60 is inserted into the hand-held tool 100, the extending direction of the main body of the battery pack 60 is parallel to the axial lead of the motor; the battery pack 60 is disposed at the lower portion of the motor 44, and is located at the lower side of the axial line as the mounting portion 53 for mounting the working head of the saw blade 42, and the main body of the battery pack 60 extending in the longitudinal direction may be disposed closer to the holding portion with respect to the main body of the motor 44, or may be disposed at a distance farther from the holding portion with respect to the main body of the motor 44 or the same distance as the holding portion, in this embodiment, the battery pack 60 is disposed at a distance farther from the holding portion with respect to the main body of the motor 44, and the front end of the battery pack is located at a substantially middle position.
Referring to fig. 2, the weight of the body of the hand tool 100 is primarily concentrated on the following metal components: a shield 28, a saw blade 42, a gear box 51, and a motor 44. The shield 28, the gear box 51 and the saw blade 42 are located at the front end of the holding portion 24, and the motor 44 is located at the other end of the holding portion 24, when the battery pack 60 is connected to the rear portion 26 of the housing, the center of gravity of the whole machine is located near the center of the holding portion 24 due to the installation position of the battery pack 60, so that the operator does not need to apply extra force to balance the hand-held tool 100, and the hand-held tool 100 can be balanced in a normal holding manner, thereby ensuring that the operation is more comfortable and the operator does not feel tired easily. The battery pack 60 is mounted in a manner that effectively utilizes space, ensures that a user has sufficient holding space, reduces the volume of the tool, and has a more compact appearance. In the present embodiment, the battery unit 60 is accommodated inside the housing rear 26, and it is conceivable for those skilled in the art that the battery unit 60 may be suspended on the housing rear 26 by a connecting device; in the present embodiment, the battery unit 60 is locked by a hook 62 provided on a base 61, and it is conceivable for those skilled in the art to fix other kinds of locking devices to the housing rear 26. a working assembly;
a motor for driving the working assembly;
a housing;

9. The hand-held tool of claim 1, wherein: the battery pack comprises three battery units which are arranged in a triangular shape.
