Abstract
一种光纤连接器,其包括插芯、夹持件、外壳及内壳,插芯内设有供光纤穿设的第一穿孔,外壳设有第一螺纹,内壳具有与第一螺纹螺合的第二螺纹,内壳通过第二螺纹螺合固定于外壳,夹持件设于外壳及内壳之间,夹持件两端分别抵持外壳的内壁及内壳的一端,夹持件抵持内壳的一端形成有装配孔,插芯卡设于内壳内且插芯一端设于装配孔内。外壳及内壳通过螺纹配合,锁紧效果较佳且结构简单。

技术领域
本发明涉及一种光纤连接器。
背景技术
随着光纤入户技术的发展,现地组装光纤连接器由于组装快速、简单、方便,被大量应用于光通信网络最后线路段的布网建设中。
一种光纤连接器,其包括插芯、连接套、压接套、大压套及小压套。插芯开设有供光纤穿设的通孔,连接套具有插芯孔及插口,插芯穿设于插芯孔,压接套形成有凸筋,压接套的凸筋卡接在连接套的插口而将插芯固定与连接套及压接套形成的收容空间内。大压套套设于连接套远离压接套的一端,大压套远离连接套的一端呈台阶状,小压套压接于大压套远离连接套的一端从而将光纤固定。
上述光纤连接器的连接套发生形变而使插口与压接套上的凸筋相互卡接而固定插芯,长期使用容易由于插口与凸筋之间锁紧力不强而造成插芯松动。
发明内容
鉴于上述内容,有必要提供一种锁紧效果较佳的光纤连接器。
一种光纤连接器,其包括插芯、夹持件、外壳及内壳,插芯内设有供光纤穿设的第一穿孔,外壳设有第一螺纹,内壳具有与第一螺纹螺合的第二螺纹,内壳通过第二螺纹螺合固定于外壳,夹持件设于外壳及内壳之间,夹持件两端分别抵持外壳的内壁及内壳的一端,夹持件抵持内壳的一端形成有装配孔,插芯卡设于内壳内且插芯一端设于装配孔内。
该光纤连接器在外壳上设置有第一螺纹,并在内壳上设置有与外壳的第一螺纹相对应的第二螺纹,从而将外壳螺合固定在内壳上,共同收容夹紧固定光缆的夹持件,进而固定插芯,固定效果较佳且结构简单。

主要元件符号说明
具体实施方式
下面结合附图及实施方式对本发明的光纤连接装置作进一步的详细说明。
请参见图1至图3,本发明第一实施例的光纤连接器100包括外壳11、内壳13、夹持件15、插芯17及卡环19。
外壳11包括固定部113及收容部115。固定部113大体为圆筒状,其内壁设有第一螺纹117。收容部115自固定部113的一端收缩延伸而成,其大体为圆锥形,其内具有内锥面,形成有锥形的收容空间119。
内壳13包括与外壳11的固定部113对应的本体131及自本体131的一端延伸的插接部133。本体131开设有自本体131远离插接部133的一端延伸的第一通孔135及第二通孔137。第二通孔137与第一通孔135相通且延伸之插接部133,第二通孔137的孔径小于第一通孔135的孔径。本体131的内壁在第一通孔135与第二通孔137的交界处形成有抵持面138。本体131的外壁形成有第二螺纹139。本体131远离插接部133的一端形成有圆弧形的缺口141。本体131的内壁形成有沿本体131的周向延伸的卡槽143,卡槽143朝向缺口141。插接部133大体呈方形,其远离本体131的一端开设有第三通孔147,第三通孔147与第二通孔137相通且第三通孔147的孔径大于第二通孔137的孔径。
夹持件15包括连接部151、自连接部151的一端延伸的卡持部153及自连接部151另一端延伸的大体为圆锥形的夹持部155。连接部151及卡持部153均为柱状,卡持部153的直径小于连接部151的直径,卡持部153的直径与第一通孔135的孔径大体相当。夹持件15开设有装配孔157,装配孔157自卡持部153远离连接部151的一端延伸至夹持部155。夹持部155开设有与装配孔157相通的第一螺孔159及自第一螺孔159远离装配孔157的一端延伸且贯穿夹持部155远离连接部151的一端的第二螺孔161。第一螺孔159的孔径小于装配孔157的孔径,夹持件15在第一螺孔159及装配孔157连接处形成有台阶面162。第二螺孔161的孔径大于第一螺孔159的孔径。夹持部155开设有多个贯穿夹持部155的开槽163,开槽163自夹持部155远离连接部151的一端延伸至连接部151,从而将夹持部155分割形成多个夹爪165,多个夹爪165可相对收拢。
插芯17大体为圆柱形。插芯17包括主体171、限位部173及导向部175。限位部173自主体171的中部沿主体171的径向向外垂直延伸而成。主体171的一端形成直径稍小于主体171的导向部175。主体171外表面形成与内壳13的卡槽143位置对应的卡合槽177。卡合槽177共有两个且位置相对。插芯17开设有供光纤(未图示)穿过的第一穿孔178及供光缆(未图示)穿过的第二穿孔179。第一穿孔178自导向部175延伸至主体171的中部,第二穿孔179的孔径大于第一穿孔178且与第一穿孔178相通。
卡环19为C形,其包括抵持端191及自抵持端191延伸的两个弧形的夹臂193。夹臂193可与内壳13的卡槽143及插芯17的卡合槽177卡合。
将塑料光缆的一端剥去部分第一外皮,露出第二外皮,再将第二外皮剥去部分从而露出光纤。
组装时,将光缆剥皮一端依次穿过外壳11、夹持件15的第二螺孔161、第一螺孔159及插芯17的第二穿孔179,使光纤穿过第一穿孔178延伸出来。夹持件15的夹持部155收容于外壳11的收容部115,内壳13自插芯17的导向部175套设于插芯17,并使插芯17的导向部175穿设于第三通孔147,限位部173抵持抵持面138,将卡环19套设于插芯17使每个夹臂193同时与一个卡合槽177及卡槽143卡合,抵持端191抵持本体131,从而将插芯17固定至内壳13。将夹持件15的连接部151插入第一通孔135,直至连接部151抵持本体131远离插接部133的一端,此时插芯17的主体171远离导向部175的一端收容于装配孔157,光缆的第二外皮裸露部分收容于第一螺孔159,光缆收容于第二螺孔161。使外壳11的第一螺纹117与内壳13的第二螺纹139螺合,从而将外壳11逐步的套设于内壳13,收容部115套设于夹持件15的夹持部155,使夹持部155收容于收容空间119,外壳11在与内壳13螺合的过程中,收容部115的内壁抵压并收拢夹持部155的多个夹爪165,以将光缆夹持固定。第一螺孔159及第二螺孔161的螺纹分别夹持光缆的第二外皮及第一外皮,从而将光缆夹紧固定。
该光纤连接器100通过,在外壳11及内壳13分别设置第一螺纹117及第二螺纹139,从而将外壳11螺合固定在内壳13上,共同收容夹紧固定光缆的夹持件15,锁紧效果较佳且结构简单。通过设置卡环19而将插芯17固定至内壳13,夹持件15固定光缆,组装拆卸均较为方便,可实现现地组装及完全拆卸。
可以理解,限位部173可省略,卡环19套设于插芯17使其同时与卡合槽177及卡槽143卡合,将插芯17固定至内壳13即可。该光纤连接器100不限于应用于塑料光纤的连接,也可用于玻璃光纤的连接,用于连接玻璃光纤时,将光缆的纤维层固定于第一螺孔159即可。
请参阅图4至图7,本发明第二实施例的光纤连接器200的结构与第一实施例的光纤连接器100的结构大致相同,其不同在于:光纤连接器200不包括卡环19,内壳23没有设置卡槽143,插芯27也没有设置卡合槽177,插芯27的限位部273形成有削平面2731以防止插芯27相对内壳23转动,内壳23形成有凸起249。组装时,插芯27的限位部273收容于第一通孔235且抵持抵持面238,凸起249削平面2731,插芯27远离导向部275的一端抵持台阶面262即可将插芯27固定。
另外,本领域技术人员还可在本发明精神内做其它变化。当然,这些依据本发明精神所做的变化,都应包含在本发明所要求保护的范围内。
Claims (10)
1.一种光纤连接器,其包括插芯、内壳及外壳,该插芯内设有供光纤穿设的第一穿孔,其特征在于:该光纤连接器还包括夹持件,该外壳设有第一螺纹,该内壳具有与该第一螺纹螺合的第二螺纹,该内壳通过该第二螺纹螺合固定于该外壳,该夹持件设于该外壳及该内壳之间,该夹持件两端分别抵持该外壳的内壁及该内壳的一端,该夹持件抵持该内壳的一端形成有装配孔,该插芯卡设于该内壳内且该插芯一端设于该装配孔内。
2.如权利要求1所述的光纤连接器,其特征在于:该内壳包括本体及自该本体的一端延伸的插接部,该第二螺纹设于该本体的外壁,该本体开设有自该本体远离该插接部的一端延伸的第一通孔及第二通孔,该第二通孔与该第一通孔相通且延伸至该插接部。
3.如权利要求2所述的光纤连接器,其特征在于:该外壳包括固定部及收容部,该第一螺纹设于该固定部的内壁,该收容部自该固定部远离该内壳一端向外延伸而成,该收容部形成有用于收容该夹持件的收容空间。
4.如权利要求3所述的光纤连接器,其特征在于:该夹持件包括连接部、自该连接部的一端延伸的夹持部及自该连接部的另一端延伸的卡持部,该装配孔自该卡持部延伸至该夹持部,该卡持部设于该第一通孔内,该连接部抵持该本体远离该插接部的一端,该夹持部收容于该收容部。
5.如权利要求4所述的光纤连接器,其特征在于:该夹持部开设有第一螺孔及多个贯穿该夹持部的开槽,该第一螺孔与该装配孔相通,该多个开槽将该夹持部分割成多个可相对收拢的夹爪。
6.如权利要求5所述的光纤连接器,其特征在于:该夹持部远离该连接部的一端开设有第二螺孔,该第二螺孔的孔径大于该第一螺孔且与该第一螺孔相通。
7.如权利要求5所述的光纤连接器,其特征在于:该本体形成有弧形的缺口,该本体的内壁形成有朝向该缺口的卡槽,该插芯形成有与该卡槽相对应的卡合槽,该光纤连接器还包括卡环,该卡环同时卡合于该卡槽及该卡合槽。
8.如权利要求5所述的光纤连接器,其特征在于:该内壳的内壁在该第二通孔与该第一通孔的连接处形成有抵持面,该夹持件在该装配孔及该第一螺孔连接处形成有台阶面,该插芯包括主体、自该主体的中部向外延伸的限位部及自该主体的一端延伸的导向部,该限位部抵持该抵持面,该主体插设于装配孔的一端抵持该台阶面,该导向部收容穿设与该第三通孔。
9.如权利要求8所述的光纤连接器,其特征在于:该限位部形成有削平面,该内壳形成有抵持该削平面的凸起。
10.如权利要求1所述的光纤连接器,其特征在于:该插芯内设有供光缆穿设且与该第一穿孔相通的第二穿孔。
