技术领域
本发明提供包含新型阴离子聚合物作为分散剂的水性颜料制剂以及它们用于将天然和合成材料着色的用途。
背景技术
为将颜料在液体介质中分散通常要求分散剂。分散剂例如对于在颜料浓缩物(其用于将乳胶漆和油光漆(Lackfarben)、油漆、涂料和印刷油墨着色)的制备中以及用于纸和纸浆、卡纸和纺织品的着色的颜料的分散而言具有特别的商业重要性。
包含有序化聚合物结构的颜料制剂也在现有技术中进行了描述。它们的实例是EP 1 293 523、DE 10 2005 012 315和EP 1 721 941。
以前常用的酚醛清漆分散剂含有由于它们的生产过程引起的烷基酚(经常是壬基酚)和其乙氧基化物的残余物。因为烷基酚乙氧基化物或它们的降解产物在环境中几乎不经历任何降解,所以它们积聚。这是成问题的,因为它们对水生生物具有激素影响。因此,许多国家中已经公布了限制或禁止在开放的物质循环中使用含烷基酚或其乙氧基化物的物质的法规(例如2003/53/EC)。
到目前为止的研究已经表明,仍极其难以合成在其工艺性能方面等效于阴离子酚醛清漆体系的分散剂。
发明内容
因此需要能够将大于40%的高浓度有机颜料分散成低粘度形式的新型分散剂。这些分散体必须可容易地制备,即颜料必须可容易地被润湿和可容易地被引入到水性介质中。分散体必须具有高和可再现的着色强度并且这种着色强度必须保持稳定数年的时间。同样地,所有 其它色彩参数例如色调角和纯净度应该是可再现和稳定的。另外,分散体必须具有低粘度;颜料既不允许附聚也不允许絮凝,又不允许它们浮起或沉降。分散体应该不起泡或在应用介质中不引起或加速泡沫形成。另外,分散剂应该有助于分散体在各种应用介质中的宽的相容性。此外,分散体必须剪切稳定,即在剪切作用下着色强度或色彩性能不允许改变,并且分散体在这些条件下必须保持絮凝稳定。
现已令人惊奇地发现,利用由聚乙二醇/聚丙二醇单乙烯基醚或单烯丙基醚组成的大分子单体制备的特定阴离子共聚物实现了这一目的。

尤其优选的颜料制剂包含如下组分:
(A)5重量%-80重量%,例如10重量%-70重量%,
(B)0.1重量%-30重量%,例如2重量%-15重量%,

每种情况下基于颜料制剂的总重量(100重量%)。
在存在组分(C)、(D)、(E)和(F)中一种或多种的情况下,它们的最小浓度彼此独立地有利地是至少0.01重量%,优选至少0.1重量%,基于颜料制剂的总重量。
本发明颜料制剂的组分(A)是细分的有机或无机颜料或者各种有机和/或无机颜料的混合物。组分(A)还可以是可溶于某些溶剂的且在其它溶剂中具有颜料特征的染料。这些颜料不但可以呈干粉末形式使用,而且可以作为水湿滤饼形式使用。
可用的有机颜料包括:单偶氮、双偶氮、色淀偶氮、β-萘酚、萘酚AS、苯并咪唑酮、双偶氮缩合颜料、偶氮-金属配合物颜料和多环颜料,例如酞菁、喹吖啶酮、苝、紫环酮(Perinon)、硫靛、蒽嵌蒽二酮、蒽醌、黄烷士酮、靛蒽醌、异紫蒽酮、皮蒽酮、二噁嗪、喹诺酞酮、异吲哚啉酮、异吲哚啉和二酮基吡咯并吡咯颜料,或炭黑。
在所述的有机颜料中,对于制备该制剂呈尽可能细分状态的那些是尤其合适的,在此优选95%并且更优选99%的颜料颗粒具有≤500nm的颗粒尺寸。

代替颜料分散体的是,还可以制备这样的分散体,所述分散体包含下述物质作为固体:例如天然细分矿石、矿物、难溶性或不溶性的盐、蜡颗粒或塑料颗粒、染料、作物保护剂和杀虫剂、UV吸收剂、光学增白剂和聚合反应稳定剂。
共聚物(组分B)具有103g/mol-109g/mol,更优选103-107g/mol,甚至更优选103-105g/mol的分子量。这些聚合物可以通过常规的单体的自由基聚合方法制备,所述单体与式(I)、(II)、(III)或(IV)中在括号[]c、[]b和[]a中描述的基团对应。在聚合之后,将如此获得的非离子聚合物转变成阴离子官能度。

作为组分(C)多数使用促进颜料润湿的阳离子、阴离子、两性或非离子化合物(湿润剂,增湿剂),例如烷基硫酸盐,例如月桂基硫酸盐,烷基苯磺酸,短链烷氧基化产物例如与大约5mol环氧乙烷或炔二醇反应的月桂醇。
用作本发明颜料制剂的组分(D)的是适合用于制备水性颜料分散体的常规分散剂和表面活性剂或这些物质的混合物。通常使用阴离子、阳离子、两性或非离子界面活性化合物,如DE-A-10 2007 021 870中所述那样。

作为组分(F)使用例如增稠剂、防腐剂、粘度稳定剂、研磨助剂和填料。另外的常规添加物质可以是抗沉降剂、光稳定剂、抗氧化剂、脱气剂/消泡剂、泡沫减少剂、防结块剂以及有利地影响粘度和流变性的添加剂。有用的粘度调节剂包括例如聚乙烯醇和纤维素衍生物。可以同样地考虑水溶性天然或合成树脂以及聚合物作为成膜剂或粘结剂用于提高粘附强度和耐磨性。有用的pH值调节剂包括有机或无机碱和酸。优选的有机碱是胺,例如乙醇胺、二乙醇胺、三乙醇胺、N,N-二甲基乙醇胺、二异丙胺、氨甲基丙醇或二甲基氨甲基丙醇。优选的无机碱是氢氧化钠、氢氧化钾、氢氧化锂或氨。组分(F)还可以对应于植物和动物来源的脂肪和油,例如牛油、棕榈仁脂、椰子脂、油菜籽油 葵花油、亚麻子油、棕榈油、大豆油 花生油和鲸油、棉籽油、玉米油、罂粟油、橄榄油、蓖麻油、菜籽油 红花油、黄豆油 蓟油、葵花油、鲱鱼油、沙丁鱼油。常用的添加剂还包括饱和和不饱和高级脂肪酸,例如棕榈酸、辛酸 癸酸、肉豆蔻酸、月桂酸、硬脂酸、油酸、亚油酸、亚麻酸、己酸、辛酸、花生酸、山萮酸、棕榈油酸、鳕油酸、芥酸和蓖麻油酸,以及它们的盐。
为制备颜料制剂而使用的水,组分(G),优选以脱盐的水或蒸馏水的形式使用。同样可以使用饮用水(自来水)和/或天然来源的水。
本发明还提供制备本发明的颜料制剂的方法,其中在水(G)以及所述组分(B)和任选的(C)和(D)存在下将以粉末、颗粒或含水滤饼形式的所述组分(A)分散,然后任选地将水(G)以及任选的所述组分(E)和(F)中的一种或多种混合入,并且任选地用水(G)将所得的水性颜料分散体稀释。优选将组分(B)以及任选的所述组分(C)、(D)、(E)和(F)中的一种或多种首先混合并且均化,然后将组分(A)搅拌加入初始加入的混合物中,其中将所述组分(A)调成糊剂并预分散。取决于组分(A)的质地 随后在有或者没有冷却的情况下,使用研磨或分散设备组,进行细分散或细分布。为此可以使用搅拌器、溶解器(锯齿搅拌器)、转子-定子磨机、球磨机、搅拌式球磨机(例如砂磨机和珠磨机)、高速混合机、捏合设备、辊轧机或高性能珠磨机。组分(A)的细分散或研磨进行直到获得所希望的颗粒尺寸分布并且可以在0-100℃的温度下,有利地在10-70℃的温度下,优选在20-60℃的温度下进行。在细分散操作之后,可以进一步用水(G),优选去离子水或蒸馏水,将颜料制剂稀释。
本发明的颜料制剂适合用于将任何类型的天然和合成材料,尤其是水性油漆、乳胶漆和油光漆(分散型漆)着色和染色,用于纸浆染色和用于层压体制备和着色。
本发明的颜料制剂还适合用于将任何类型的大分子材料,例如天然和合成纤维材料,优选纤维素纤维着色。其它应用是制备印刷油墨,在此例如纺织品印刷油墨、柔性版印刷油墨、装饰印刷油墨或凹版印刷油墨,壁纸色料、水可稀释的涂料、木材防护体系,粘胶纺丝染色体系、清漆,还有粉末涂料、香肠肠衣、种子、肥料、玻璃,尤其是玻璃瓶,以及用于将屋顶瓦本体着色,用于灰浆、混凝土、木材媒染剂、彩色铅笔芯、软笔、蜡、石蜡、绘图墨水、圆珠笔糊、粉笔、洗涤和清洁剂、鞋保养剂、胶乳产品、磨料的着色,以及用于将任何类型的塑料或高分子量材料着色。高分子量有机材料的实例是单独或者以混合物形式的以下物质:纤维素醚和纤维素酯,例如乙基纤维素、硝基纤维素、乙酸纤维素或丁酸纤维素,天然树脂或合成树脂,例如加成聚合树脂或缩合树脂,例如氨基塑料,尤其是脲-和蜜胺-甲醛树脂、醇酸树脂、丙烯酸系树脂、酚醛塑料,聚碳酸酯,聚烯烃例如聚苯乙烯、聚氯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、聚丙烯腈、聚丙烯酸酯,聚酰胺、聚氨酯或聚酯、橡胶、酪蛋白、胶乳、硅酮、有机硅树脂。
本发明的颜料制剂进一步适合用于制备用于所有常规喷墨打印机,特别是用于基于气泡喷射或压电方法的那些喷墨打印机的印刷墨水(Tinten)。采用这些印刷墨水可印刷纸以及天然或合成纤维材料、膜片和塑料。另外,本发明的颜料制剂可用于印刷多种多样类型的经涂覆或未经涂覆的基材,例如用于印刷纸板、卡纸、木材和木材基材料、金属材料、半导体材料、陶瓷材料、玻璃、玻璃纤维和陶瓷纤维、无机材料、混凝土、皮革、食品、化妆品、皮肤和头发。该基材在此可以是二维平面的,或者可以在空间上延伸,即是三维形状的,并且可以完全或者仅仅部分被印刷或涂覆。
本发明的颜料制剂还适合用作电子照相调色剂和显影剂例如单或双组分粉末调色剂(也称为单或双组分显影剂)、磁性调色剂、液体调色剂、胶乳调色剂、聚合调色剂和特种调色剂中的着色剂。
本发明的颜料制剂还适合用作墨水,优选喷墨墨水,例如水性或非水性(″溶剂基″)的那些,微乳液墨水,可UV固化墨水和按热熔方法工作的那些墨水中的着色剂。
本发明的颜料制剂还可用作平板显示器的滤色器(不但用于加法色生成而且用于减法色生成),以及用于光致抗蚀剂的着色剂,此外还用作电子墨水(″e-墨水″)或电子纸(″e-纸″)的着色剂。

聚合的一般规程:
初始在氮气导入下将在溶剂中的单体A、单体C和非必要的分子量调节剂装入配备有搅拌器、回流冷凝器、内部温度计和氮气入口的烧瓶。然后,在搅拌下使温度达到80℃并在一小时的过程中计量添加引发剂的溶液。同时,开始计量添加单体B,其在3小时之后结束。接着在该温度下进一步搅拌2小时,然后在真空下除去溶剂。
合成规程2:
聚合的一般规程:
初始在氮气导入下将在溶剂中的单体A、单体C和非必要的分子 量调节剂和氧化还原引发剂体系的组分1(抗坏血酸)装入配备有搅拌器、回流冷凝器、内部温度计和氮气入口的烧瓶。然后,在搅拌下使温度达到80℃并在三小时的过程中计量添加氧化还原引发剂体系的组分2的溶液(t-BuOOH)。同时,开始计量添加单体B,其在3小时之后结束。接着在该温度下进一步搅拌2小时,然后在真空下除去溶剂。
合成规程3:
将根据合成规程1或2获得的聚合物转化成侧链上含醚硫酸盐基的阴离子共聚物的一般合成规程:
初始在氮气下将所述共聚物与氨基磺酸和脲一起装入烧瓶。然后,在搅拌下将该初始进料加热4小时到100℃。随后,用50重量%浓度的氢氧化钠溶液调节pH值为6.5-7.5。经NMR谱图可测定转化成相应的硫酸酯铵盐的转化度>95%。
合成规程4:
将根据合成规程1或2获得的聚合物转化成侧链上含磺基琥珀酸盐基的阴离子共聚物的一般合成规程:
初始在氮气下将所述共聚物加入烧瓶。然后,添加马来酸酐和氢氧化钠并在搅拌下将其加热到75-85℃的温度。在此温度下,搅拌3小时,然后计量添加亚硫酸钠水溶液(10重量%浓度)。在60-70℃下搅拌直到反应结束并最后用50重量%氢氧化钠溶液调节pH值到pH7。

颜料制剂的制备:
将以粉末、颗粒或滤饼形式的颜料与分散剂和其它添加剂一起在去离子水中调成糊剂,然后采用溶解器(例如得自于VMA-Getzmann GmbH公司,AE3-M1型)或者其它合适的设备将其均化和预分散。随后使用珠磨机(例如采用得自于VMA-Getzmann的AE3-M1)或者其它合适的分散设备组而进行细分散,其中在冷却下采用尺寸d=1mm的硅石英岩(Siliquarzit)珠粒或锆混合氧化物珠粒进行研磨,直到达到所希望的着色强度和色彩性能。此后,用去离子水将分散体调节至所希望的最终颜料浓度,将研磨介质分离出,并且将颜料制剂离析。
颜料制剂的评价
着色强度和色调根据DIN 55986测定。为进行擦去试验(″Rub-Out-Test″),在与颜料分散体混合之后将乳胶漆施涂到漆卡上。随后在漆卡的下部上用手指进行后摩擦。如果经后摩擦的区域然后比邻接的未经后处理的区域更艳地着色,则存在不相容性(该擦去试验描述于DE 2638946中)。使用用于外部涂漆的乳胶漆(水基,20%TiO2)测定着色强度和与待着色介质的相容性。
还评价纸浆着色的色彩性能。为此,将纤维素悬浮液用该颜料制剂以10%浓度着色,由此通过干燥和压制制备耐用(fest)纸张,之后测定着色强度和色调。
如下测定起泡能力:将用水稀释至2%的分散体利用软管泵以高流速连续地喷射到玻璃杯中并评价所产生的泡沫的高度。
通过利用阳离子表氯醇树脂使分散体的颜料颗粒在纤维素悬浮液中絮凝而测定颜料制剂的剪切稳定性。使用调节高旋转速度下的商购厨房混合器(在此是Braun MX 32)进行剪切。然后由纸浆制备纸,并将经剪切的分散体的着色强度与未经剪切的分散体的着色强度相比较。
为了评价分散体的存储稳定性,在制得制剂之后直接地以及在50℃下存储四周之后测量粘度。
以下实施例中描述的颜料制剂根据上述方法制备,其中以下成分以给出的数量使用以致形成100份的各颜料制剂。在以下实施例中,份数是重量份。适用以下一般性配方:

6.根据权利要求1或2的颜料制剂,其中所述组分(A)的颜料是单偶氮-、双偶氮-、色淀偶氮-、β-萘酚-、萘酚AS-、苯并咪唑酮-、双偶氮缩合-颜料、偶氮-金属配合物颜料,或选自酞菁、喹吖啶酮、苝、紫环酮、硫靛、蒽嵌蒽二酮、蒽醌、黄烷士酮、靛蒽醌、异紫蒽酮、皮蒽酮、二嗪、喹诺酞酮、异吲哚啉酮、异吲哚啉和二酮基吡咯并吡咯颜料的多环颜料,或炭黑。
7.根据权利要求1或2的颜料制剂,其中氧化亚烷基单元(A-O)m和(B-O)n在所述组分(B)中以嵌段状排列。
8.制备根据权利要求1-7中任一项的颜料制剂的方法,其中在水(G)以及所述组分(B)和任选的(C)和(D)存在下,将以粉末、颗粒或含水滤饼形式的所述组分(A)分散,然后任选地将水(G)以及任选的所述组分(E)和(F)中一种或多种混合入,并任选地用水(G)将所得的水性颜料分散体稀释;
或将所述组分(B)预加料,并将任选的所述组分(C)、(D)、(E)和(F)中一种或多种首先混合并且均化,然后将所述组分(A)搅拌加入所述初始加入的混合物中,其中将所述组分(A)调成糊剂并预分散。
9.根据权利要求1-7中任一项的颜料制剂用于将水性油漆、乳胶漆和油光漆、水可稀释清漆、壁纸色料和印刷油墨着色,用于将纸和纸浆着色,用于将纺织品着色的用途。
10.根据权利要求1-7中任一项的颜料制剂用于将天然和合成纤维材料、纤维素纤维和层压体着色,以及用于制备印刷墨水、电子照相调色剂、粉末涂料、滤色器、电子墨水和″电子纸″、木材防护体系,粘胶纺丝染色体系、香肠肠衣、种子、肥料、玻璃瓶,以及用于将屋顶瓦本体着色,用于灰浆、混凝土、木材媒染剂、彩色铅笔芯、软笔、蜡、绘图墨水、圆珠笔糊、粉笔、清洁剂、鞋保养剂、胶乳产品、磨料的着色,和用于将塑料着色的用途。
11.根据权利要求10的用途,其中所述印刷墨水是喷墨墨水。
12.根据权利要求10的用途,其中所述蜡是石蜡。
13.根据权利要求1-7中任一项的颜料制剂用于洗涤剂的着色的用途。
