根据本发明,该任务是通过具有权利要求1的特征的电加热元件得以解决。其他有利的设计方案可由从属权利要求中得出。
根据本发明,加热电阻是使用一种导电陶瓷材料而制成。在这里,该陶瓷材料可以单独地构成加热电阻,或者作为涂层涂敷在金属加热电阻上。为此,例如可以使用如SiC或MoSi2-Al2O3之类的陶瓷材料,这些陶瓷材料不仅在耐腐蚀性、耐磨强度及导热能力方面具有极好的特性,而且尤其具有强的导电能力。此外,可以通过改变陶瓷中的导电和非导电材料含量来影响陶瓷的导电能力,进而影响通过加热电阻的电流。
加热电阻的顶面和底面以一锐角相交。因此,加热电阻基本显示出传统的加热楔的轮廓,从而加热电阻还可以承担加热楔的功能。这具有这样的优点,即从加热元件到塑料薄膜的热传递是直接地因而更加有效地进行。此外,由此省去了在传统的加热楔薄膜焊接设备中被设计成作为单独的部件的间接加热式加热楔,这降低了制造和维修费用。另一个优点是,与间接地通过加热筒加热的传统加热楔相比,在“楔形的”加热电阻上的热分布明显更加均匀。
加热电阻沿着其走向可以具有一次或多次弯曲或折叠。因此,它的长度是其高度和宽度的好几倍,同时所形成的有效的横截面收缩调定了电流的电阻值。除了选取的几何要素之外,也可以通过相应地选取材料来影响电流,也就是说通过改变加热电阻的材料的导电能力来进行。
在本发明的一种有利的实施形式中,加热电阻整体式地、均质地由一种导电陶瓷材料制成。这确保了在加热电阻内快速且均匀的热分布,并降低了其在制造中的材料成本。该整体式陶瓷加热电阻可以在其适合地加工成形的模具中浇注成型,该模具例如可以是呈曲折形状地弯曲或折叠。此外,电极可以以材料连接的方式进行包裹,从而实现了良好的机械和导电连接。
在本发明的另一个优选的实施形式中,加热电阻具有一个由金属或金属合金组成的芯部和一个陶瓷涂层。为此,例如可以使用耐腐蚀的铬镍钢或类似材料。也可以采用非贵重的材料来制造加热电阻的金属芯部。陶瓷涂层对金属芯部的表面进行了改进处理且用作保护套。该陶瓷涂层以材料连接的方式包裹着芯部,这实现了良好的机械和电连接。带有涂层的加热电阻的芯部可以简单地通过已知的工业上常见的用于切削加工的方法由一金属块形成。
与传统的加热楔相比,陶瓷的或带有陶瓷涂层的“楔形的”加热电阻具有高出多倍的耐磨性和耐腐蚀性。同时,该加热电阻对塑料熔融残留物表现出较小的粘附能力,这使得加热电阻在薄膜带之间的滑动更加容易。此外,对于陶瓷加热电阻,不再需要如在传统的机械焊接楔中常常是必需的针对不同塑料薄膜改换。
优选地,在本发明的加热电阻中,电极在一个远离加热电阻尖端的区域上在侧旁设置在加热电阻上。以这种方式,加热电阻可以毫无困难地引入需要焊接的塑料带之间并沿着它们的纵向灵活地移动。
已被证明特别有利的是,在电极上设有用于将加热电阻固定在焊接设备上的固定装置。在最简单的情况下,这些固定装置可以是设在电极中的贯通孔。以这种方式可以省去单独的固定装置,这简化了电加热元件的生产过程并产生了更高的机械耐磨强度。
下面借助两个在附图中示出的实施例详细地说明本发明。从下面对本发明实施例的描述并结合权利要求和附图可得出本发明的其他特征。各个特征可以在本发明的不同实施形式中分别以单独或组合的形式实现。
图1示出了本发明具有弯曲走向的加热电阻的立体图;和
图2示出了本发明具有折叠走向的加热电阻的立体图。
在图1和2中所示的本发明的加热元件1包括两个电极2,3和一个导电地与电极2,3连接的加热电阻4。该加热电阻4显示出楔形的轮廓,该轮廓包括一个顶面5和一个底面6,它们以一锐角相交并终止于一个尖端7。
电极2,3设置在加热电阻4的远离尖端7的区域8内并在侧旁从电加热元件1的侧面9突出。这些电极具有扁的矩形横截面形状并在一个垂直于底面6且平行于加热电阻4的侧面9的平面上延伸。电极2,3的腿部10,11伸出加热电阻4的顶面5加热电阻厚度12的几倍并在其上端部13,14上具有孔15,16作为将加热元件1固定到在图中未示出的焊接设备上的固定装置。
电加热元件1的加热电阻4是由一种导电陶瓷材料制成并显示出楔形的轮廓,该轮廓具有扁长的形状并具有一条后边17,加热电阻4从该后边起朝着加热元件1的前尖端7的方向延伸并重新向后边17返回。在后边17的远离尖端7的区域8内,电极2,3以材料连接的方式埋置在加热电阻4的端部18,19中并与之导电连接。
图1示出了电加热元件1,其加热电阻4具有曲折形的弯曲走向。在这里,它的加热电阻4多次从电加热元件1的后边17延伸至前尖端7并重新返回。与此相反,图2示出了带有折叠的加热电阻4的电加热元件1。该电加热元件折叠一次,并从加热元件1的后边17延伸至前尖端7并重新返回至后边17。加热电阻4的顶面5和底面6优选设计成平的,也就是没有凹凸处。

Claims (5)

1.特别是用于加热楔-薄膜焊接设备的电加热元件(1),该电加热元件包括两个电极(2,3)和设在电极(2,3)之间的加热电阻(4),因此在电极(2,3)上施加电压将导致在加热电阻(4)的长度上产生热,该加热电阻(4)由耐腐蚀材料制成,且该加热电阻(4)的顶面(5)及与该顶面(5)相对的底面(6)以一锐角相交,其特征在于,所述加热电阻(4)使用导电陶瓷材料而制成。
2.如权利要求1所述的电加热元件,其特征在于,所述加热电阻(4)整体式地、均质地由导电陶瓷材料制成。
3.如权利要求1所述的电加热元件,其特征在于,所述加热电阻(4)具有芯部和陶瓷层,该芯部由金属或合金制成。
4.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的电加热元件,其特征在于,所述电极(2,3)在远离加热电阻(4)的尖端(7)的区域(8)上在侧旁设置在加热电阻(4)上。
5.如前述权利要求中任一项所述的电加热元件,其特征在于,所述电极(2,3)具有用于固定的固定装置(15,16)。
