Abstract
The use of a non-ionic ethoxylated surfactant having an EO value of at least about 20, preferably at least 25, more preferably at least 30, in a fabric conditioning composition used in the rinse liquor in a domestic wash process comprising washing-by-hand or non-automatic washing machine, to improve the appearance of the rinse liquor at the end of the rinse.
Description
Technical field
The present invention relates to be used for the fabric-conditioning compositions that the rinsing of fabric is added, particularly during with the hand rinse fabric and in the non-automatic washing machine of maximum load with compositions for use during the rinsing after the detergent composition laundering of textile fabrics.
Background of invention
In developed country, the trend of washing is by using automatic washing machine, laundry detergent and softening compositio are by distributing from washing machine between two isolation thus, thereby guarantee to discharge washing composition automatically at the initial period of washing process, and softening compositio be released in rinse cycle, usually in last rinse cycle.
In less developed country, human consumer's washing habits for or with non-automatic maximum load washing machine (just comprise two separated spaces, is used for washing or rinsing, and an equipment that is used to rotate), perhaps with basin or bucket washing clothes. In basin or bucket washing comprise soak fabric, with detergent washing, wring out and the manipulation process of the heavy step of thorough rinsing.Similarly, in non-automatic maximum load washing machine, washing need place fabric and washing composition the compartment that contains water and stirring is provided.Fabric is moved out of the compartment that contains detergent liquid then, places the rotation compartment, and fabric is rotated to remove most washing composition and dirt therein.Detergent liquid shifts out from another compartment, replaces with clear water.Fabric is retracted rinsing.Rotation and the common repeated several times of rinse step are to obtain the fabric of acceptable rinsing.
Wash by hand and wash, and/or with the one side of non-automatic maximum load washing machine washing, be washing composition to water at high proportion and/or fabric to water at high proportion.Usually bring the washing composition of remnants into rinse step with the fabric that this detergent composition is handled.Modern (automatically) washing machine of contrast, wash by hand and wash and/or during with the washing of non-automatic maximum load washing machine, this carries the problem of (carry over) washing composition even more outstanding, and this is because the rotation between washing and rinse step and/or wring out inefficiency.
The traditional Betengent product that is used at present hand-wash and/or handle with non-automatic maximum load washing machine is so-called " high sudsing detergent ".A common known features of this type of Betengent product is a large amount of foams to occur by stirring at the top of washing soln. The problem that the human consumer runs into is that most this class A foam A is brought in the rinsing solution, need be by the continuous rinsing of water and rotation/wring out and remove troublesomely.
The use of the fabric-conditioning compositions of detergent composition coordination application can produce other problems therewith. The fabric softener actives can with appear in the rinsing solution, interact as the residual detergent surfactant of anion surfactant.Consequently produce the throw out of the indissoluble at the top that floats on rinsing solution. Can infer that the appearance of throw out arises from the interaction of the water-insoluble of tenderizer compound and/or tenderizer compound and anionic detergent liquid.Especially, when the high foamy detergent composition of formation was used for the situation of laundering of textile fabrics, the formation of this throw out bothered especially in washing link process.
In addition, the tenderizer compound trends towards forming slight muddiness and muddy rinsing body lotion.Signal when the clarification of rinsing liquid is felt as fabric by complete rinsing by the human consumer usually. Therefore, rinsing liquid is muddy more, and the human consumer can carry out more rinsings more.So pay close attention to the application of the fabric-conditioning compositions that provides muddy rinsing body lotion its fabric of excessive rinsing that can misguide the consumer.
The darker problem of washing composition coordination use fabric-conditioning compositions is that the interaction between tenderizer actives and residual detergent surfactant can cause reducing significantly end effect therewith. In the presence of residual detergent surfactant, the preferred soft feel that the fabric of handling with traditional care composition may be not typically be given by fabric-conditioning compositions during use when not having the tensio-active agent situation under. Can believe that the interaction between tenderizer actives and detergent surfactant reduces the effect of said tenderizer actives.
Therefore, when composition is used to carry rinsing solution under the washing composition condition, need to reduce that foam forms, transparent rinsing solution is provided and gives the fabric-conditioning compositions of using in the detergent-free tensio-active agent is the fabric-conditioning compositions of typical soft feel. And then needs can alleviate or weaken the method or the composition of the burden of hand and non-automatic washing, form the benefit that detergent composition combines the application fabric-conditioning compositions so that the human consumer can enjoy with high foam.So the hand that needs a kind of effective rinse composition to be used for fabric is handled, and provides submissive for the fabric of handling simultaneously.
WO 02/072745 discloses a kind of fabric treatment composition, comprise the fabric softener actives, foam inhibition system and tensio-active agent absorption agent, wherein the foam minimizing value of composition is at least about 90%, do not form throw out and when making an addition to the rinsing solution that contains residual detergent surfactant, give to the fabric softening feel.Composition preferably contains the fabric softening actives, froth suppressor, tensio-active agent absorption agent and optional ancillary component.
Composition can comprise dispersion agent, and nonionic ethoxylated surfactant for example is used at the rinsing suspension material and stops it to be deposited on the laundering of textile fabrics.
WO99/09122, WO99/42547, WO95/29980, US0523922, US5670476 and US6502325 disclose and have contained the fabric-conditioning compositions that a kind of EO value is at least 20 nonionic ethoxylated surfactant.Yet these reference disclose in rinsing without any one and have finished the outward appearance of rinsing liquid constantly.
Have been found that now specific tensio-active agent improves the outward appearance of rinsing liquid, when rinsing finishes, therefore can stop the excessive rinsing of human consumer especially.
Summary of the invention
According to an aspect of of the present present invention, provide a kind of EO value to be at least about 20, preferably at least 25, more preferably at least 30 the purposes of nonionic ethoxylated surfactant, it is used in the fabric-conditioning compositions in the rinsing liquid in the family expenses washing process that comprises hand washing or non-automatic washing machine the outward appearance of the rinsing liquid when improving rinsing and finish.
According to another aspect of the present invention, a kind of fabric-conditioning compositions is provided, comprise:
