Abstract

The invention discloses a system and a method for switching a broadcast type mobile phone TV service to a streaming media service. The method includes allowing a communication terminal to receive broadcast TV program component from a broadcast network based on channel and/or program information in service guide; allowing the communication terminal to acquire WAP URL linkage in the streaming media service field corresponding to the received channel or program, and to send request for acquiring streaming media component to the WAPURL linkage; and allowing the streaming media service platform to redirect the request for acquiring streaming media component of the communication terminal to a RTSP linkage which provides streaming media component. The inventive system and method can switch a broadcast network to a streaming media service platform when a communication terminal cannot receive broadcast TV program signals normally, thereby acquiring and playing streaming media component with higher quality from the streaming media service platform. Thus, playing quality is effectively improved and user's satisfaction degree is improved.

Technical Field
The invention relates to the field of data services, in particular to a system and a method for switching a broadcast mobile phone television service to a streaming media service.
Background
At present, the broadcast mobile phone television service is more and more emphasized by many operators because it is not limited by bandwidth, and is considered as the key point of future service development. However, since the communication terminal often cannot receive good broadcast television program signals indoors, the playing quality of television programs is seriously reduced, so that the development of the broadcast mobile phone television service is limited, and the user satisfaction is reduced. Although the indoor coverage system of the broadcast television can solve the problem that the communication terminal cannot receive good broadcast television program signals indoors, the investment for building the indoor coverage system is huge, and the indoor coverage system is difficult to be widely implemented and applied in practice.
Disclosure of Invention
In view of the above, the main objective of the present invention is to provide a system and a method for switching a broadcast mobile tv service to a streaming media service, so as to effectively improve the playing quality and improve the user satisfaction.
In order to achieve the purpose, the technical scheme of the invention is realized as follows:
a system for switching a broadcast mobile phone television service to a streaming media service comprises a broadcast network, a communication terminal and a streaming media service platform which are connected; wherein,
the communication terminal is used for receiving broadcast television program contents from the broadcast network according to the channel and/or program information in the service guide; and the number of the first and second groups,
when the communication terminal can not normally receive the broadcast television program signal or receives a service switching command for switching the content of the broadcast television program signal to the streaming media content, acquiring a WAP URL link corresponding to a received channel and/or program in the streaming media service field, and sending a streaming media content acquisition request to the WAP URL link; the WAP URL link corresponding to the channel and/or program in the streaming media service field is included in the service guide;
the streaming media service platform is used for redirecting the request of the communication terminal for acquiring the streaming media content to the RTSP link for providing the streaming media content.
The communication terminal is further used for playing the received streaming media content. The streaming media service platform is further used for authenticating the ordering relation of the communication terminal. The communication terminal is further configured to switch back to the broadcast network from the streaming media service platform when receiving streaming media content. The system further comprises a mobile phone television service platform connected with the communication terminal and used for providing the service guide for the communication terminal to download.
A method for switching a broadcast mobile phone television service to a streaming media service comprises the following steps: the communication terminal receives broadcast television program content from a broadcast network according to channel and/or program information in the service guide; ,
when the communication terminal can not normally receive the broadcast television program signal or receives a service switching command for switching the content of the broadcast television program signal to the streaming media content, the communication terminal acquires a WAP URL link corresponding to a received channel and/or program in the streaming media service field and sends a streaming media content acquisition request to the WAP URL link; the streaming media service platform redirects the communication terminal to acquire the request of the streaming media content and provide the RTSP link of the streaming media content; the WAP URL link corresponding to the channel and/or program in the streaming media service domain is included in the service guide.
The communication terminal further acquires streaming media content through the RTSP link. Before the redirection is carried out, the subscription relation is further authenticated. The communication terminal can further switch from the streaming media service platform to the broadcast network when receiving streaming media content.
Therefore, the system and the method for switching the broadcast mobile phone television service to the streaming media service provided by the invention have the advantages that when the communication terminal receives the broadcast television program signal, the communication terminal can be switched from the broadcast network to the streaming media service platform due to the reasons of incapability of normally receiving the broadcast television program signal and the like, so as to acquire and play streaming media content with higher quality from the streaming media service platform. This obviously can effectively improve the playing quality and improve the user satisfaction.

Detailed Description
The present invention will be described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a system diagram for implementing service handover according to an embodiment of the present invention. In fig. 1, a communication terminal is connected to a broadcast network and a streaming media service platform, and the communication terminal can receive broadcast television programs from the broadcast network. The communication terminal is user equipment capable of receiving broadcast television service and streaming media service; the streaming media service platform can provide streaming media content to the communication terminal, wherein the streaming media content generally comprises streaming media content corresponding to the broadcast television program content.
In specific application, the service guide includes information such as channel Identification (ID) and/or program ID in the field of mobile phone television service, and also includes a WAP URL link corresponding to the channel and/or program in the field of streaming media service.
And the communication terminal receives and plays the broadcast television program content from the broadcast network according to the channel and/or program information in the service guide. In the process of receiving the broadcast television program content, the communication terminal may have a situation that the broadcast television program signal cannot be normally received, and may also receive a service switching command for switching the broadcast television program signal content to the streaming media content; in this case, the communication terminal may obtain a WAP URL link in the streaming service domain corresponding to the received channel or program from the service guide, and send a streaming content obtaining request to the WAP URL link to obtain the streaming content from the streaming service platform.
After receiving the streaming media content obtaining request from the communication terminal, the streaming media service platform redirects the request of the communication terminal for obtaining the streaming media content to the RTSP link for providing the streaming media content.
The streaming media service platform can further authenticate the subscription relationship of the communication terminal.
As can be seen from the description of fig. 1, when receiving a broadcast television program signal, the communication terminal may switch from the broadcast network to the streaming media service platform due to reasons such as failure to normally receive the broadcast television program signal, so as to obtain and play streaming media content with higher quality from the streaming media service platform. This obviously can effectively improve the playing quality and improve the user satisfaction.
If the description for fig. 1 is represented as a flow, it is shown in fig. 2. Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a flowchart of implementing service switching according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the flowchart includes the following steps:
step 201: and the communication terminal receives the broadcast television program content according to the channel and/or program information in the service guide.
Step 202: the communication terminal obtains the WAP URL link in the streaming media service field corresponding to the received channel and/or program from the service guide.
Step 203: the communication terminal sends a streaming media content acquisition request to the WAP URL link so as to acquire the streaming media content from the streaming media service platform.
Step 204: the streaming media service platform redirects the communication terminal to acquire the request of the streaming media content and provide the RTSP link of the streaming media content.
In practical applications, when receiving streaming media content, the communication terminal may also switch back to the broadcast network from the streaming media service platform, and the specific switching method may be the same as the above-mentioned corresponding switching method, except that the switching direction is different. And the communication terminal is connected with a mobile TV service platform, and the mobile TV service platform is used for providing a downloadable service guide for the communication terminal.
As can be seen from the above description, the system and method for switching a broadcast mobile phone television service to a streaming media service provided by the present invention enable a communication terminal to switch from a broadcast network to a streaming media service platform when receiving a broadcast television program signal due to reasons such as failure to normally receive the broadcast television program signal, so as to obtain and play streaming media content with higher quality from the streaming media service platform. This obviously can effectively improve the playing quality and improve the user satisfaction.

Claims (9)

1. A system for switching a broadcast mobile phone television service to a streaming media service is characterized by comprising a broadcast network, a communication terminal and a streaming media service platform which are connected; wherein,
the communication terminal is used for receiving broadcast television program contents from the broadcast network according to the channel and/or program information in the service guide; and the number of the first and second groups,
when the communication terminal can not normally receive the broadcast television program signal or receives a service switching command for switching the content of the broadcast television program signal to the streaming media content, acquiring a WAP URL link corresponding to a received channel and/or program in the streaming media service field, and sending a streaming media content acquisition request to the WAP URL link; the WAP URL link corresponding to the channel and/or program in the streaming media service field is included in the service guide;
the streaming media service platform is used for redirecting the request of the communication terminal for acquiring the streaming media content to the RTSP link for providing the streaming media content.
2. The system of claim 1, wherein the communication terminal is further configured to play the received streaming media content.
3. The system according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the streaming service platform is further configured to authenticate a subscription relationship of the communication terminal.
4. The system according to claim 1 or 2, wherein the communication terminal is further configured to switch from the streaming service platform back to the broadcast network when receiving streaming content.
5. The system of claim 1, further comprising a mobile tv service platform connected to the communication terminal for providing the service guide for downloading by the communication terminal.
6. A method for switching a broadcast mobile phone television service to a streaming media service is characterized by comprising the following steps:
the communication terminal receives broadcast television program content from a broadcast network according to channel and/or program information in the service guide;
when the communication terminal can not normally receive the broadcast television program signal or receives a service switching command for switching the content of the broadcast television program signal to the streaming media content, the communication terminal acquires a WAP URL link corresponding to a received channel and/or program in the streaming media service field and sends a streaming media content acquisition request to the WAP URL link; the streaming media service platform redirects the communication terminal to acquire the request of the streaming media content and provide the RTSP link of the streaming media content;
the WAP URL link corresponding to the channel and/or program in the streaming media service domain is included in the service guide.
7. The method of claim 6, wherein the communication terminal further obtains streaming media content through the RTSP link.
8. Method according to claim 6 or 7, characterized in that before said redirection is performed, a subscription relation is further authenticated.
9. The method according to claim 6 or 7, wherein the communication terminal is further capable of switching from the streaming service platform back to the broadcast network when receiving streaming content.
