The invention adopts middleware technology to manage business software in the gateway in the home gateway, and the middleware technology enables software modules related to media push business to be manageable, upgradeable and configurable, thereby not only supporting image-text and music push, but also supporting video push so as to meet different requirements of different users; the gateway and the service are managed through the middleware management platform, and then the media push service is supported through the media push service platform.

the middleware management platform 107 is used for realizing remote management, configuration, performance statistics, fault diagnosis, software upgrading and other operations of the e-home terminal (connected through an M interface which is an access interface between the middleware management platform and a carrier network) together with the BOSS 101 (connected through the A interface which is an interactive interface for controlling, managing and ordering information of a user between the operation support system and the middleware management platform) according to a request of the user for the media push service; transmitting the account number and the password for accessing the media content distribution module 1113 to the e-home terminal; sending a media push service activation instruction to the e-family terminal;
the middleware management platform mainly has the function of performing software and service (such as media push service) related management on the e-home terminal. Firstly, downloading media push service supporting software to an e-home terminal, and then configuring and controlling the e-home terminal through remote management by a middleware management platform; after the software runs on the e-family terminal, the middleware management platform can inquire the running conditions of the software on a plurality of terminals through the e-family terminal and count various information such as service use conditions, performance and the like; when software on a certain terminal fails, the middleware management platform performs remote fault diagnosis and repair through the acquired and inquired information. The e-home terminal 109 comprises an embedded middleware module, and the middleware module controls the loading, configuration, operation, upgrading, updating, unloading, module parameter setting and query and the like of the home gateway media push service application software module. After receiving a media push service activating instruction of a middleware management platform, a middleware module starts media push related software to obtain required media service contents from a media content distribution module and stores media storage and playing terminals hung under the middleware module (at present, the storage terminals are mainly storage and playing terminals based on USB interfaces); when the pushing of the media content is finished, the e-family terminal informs the user, and the user can connect the media storage and playing terminal hung below the e-family terminal with the television and the sound for playing;
the e-family terminal adopts the access technologies of DSL, LAN and the like, realizes family broadband access through a U interface, and transmits control information such as access authentication, QoS adaptation and the like; the device discovery and unified management of the home application terminal are supported through a T interface (an access interface between a home gateway and various devices in a home), wherein the interface of the e home terminal and a voice terminal transmits control information and media streams such as loading, changing and quitting, and the interface of a Set Top Box (STB) and other terminals transmits device management information and data streams. The interaction between the gateway middleware and the middleware management platform follows different processes according to specific situations, such as: module loading flow, software upgrading flow, software unloading flow, parameter query flow and the like. The interactive operation between the middleware management platform and the gateway middleware is based on a request and response mode, one side sends out an instruction (request), and one side executes and informs the other side of an instruction execution result in a response mode. A plurality of requests and responses form a flow.
The middleware module is responsible for controlling interaction information with the middleware management platform 107, managing software modules running on the gateway and related to services, and providing application program calling interfaces and underlying services (such as session initiation protocol SIP and the like) for the application module. The middleware module sends notice or registration to the middleware management platform after the home gateway is started, and informs the middleware management platform of the unique identification number and the network address of the home gateway, so that the middleware management platform can find the gateway and bring the gateway into management. The media push service platform 111 is used for sending a media content list through a short message platform and/or a home portal and for pushing media service content to a home gateway; and the service data management system is also used for modifying the internally maintained service data records according to the change/unsubscribe notification and sending a change/unsubscribe completion notification to the operation support system after the change/unsubscribe notification is completed. the content providing module 1111 issues the media content list through the short message platform and/or the home portal, and includes at least one of the following: content number, content name, content introduction, etc.; generating a content push list according to the user ordering information, and pushing the media content to a content distribution module through a File Transfer Protocol (FTP);
the content distribution module 1113, when the user network is idle, pushes the media content needed by the user to the media storage and playing terminal of the user side through the e-home terminal. This push process is accomplished by multiple interactions between the content distribution module and the home gateway. Each interaction must first be authenticated. The system comprises a BOSS, a home portal, a short message platform, a middleware management platform, a home gateway middleware and a media push service platform, and the system supports the functions of opening, using, changing, quitting and the like of a media push service together according to the cooperative work of a service flow, and provides a rich-content and personalized media push service for users.
A media push service method based on home gateway middleware, includes loading, changing, quitting, etc. of media push service, wherein, as shown in fig. 2, the loading process of media push service based on home gateway middleware includes the following steps:
step 201, a content providing module in a media push service platform issues a media content list through a short message platform and/or a home portal, which at least includes one of the following: content number, content name, content introduction;
step 202, according to the media content list, the user (through short message, customer service, web) orders the required media service content, and sends the ordering application to the operation support system, wherein the application at least comprises one of the following contents: content number, content name. 11. The home gateway middleware-based media push service method of claim 10,
the step (2) also comprises that the middleware module sends notice or registration to the middleware management platform after the home gateway is started, and informs the middleware management platform of the unique identification number and the network address of the home gateway; the middleware management platform determines software and configuration information which need to be operated on the home gateway according to the requirement of the media push service, and downloads the needed software to the corresponding home gateway through a software loading process.
12. The home gateway middleware-based media push service method of claim 9,
the step (1) further comprises sending a change/unsubscribe application to a middleware management platform and a media push service platform, wherein the change/unsubscribe application comprises the following steps: a content name and/or a content number;
the step (2) also comprises that the middleware management platform configures the specified home gateway according to the change/unsubscribe application;
the step (3) also comprises that the home gateway configures an application software module according to a change/unsubscribe instruction of the middleware management platform, and changes/unsubscribes a media push service;
the step (4) also comprises that the media pushing service platform modifies the internal service data record according to the change/unsubscribe notice.
13. The home gateway middleware-based media push service method of claim 10,
in the step (2), the middleware management platform queries the running condition of the software on the terminal through a middleware module of the home gateway, counts service use condition and performance information, and carries out remote fault diagnosis and repair through the acquired and queried information when the software on the terminal breaks down.
14. The home gateway middleware-based media push service method of claim 11,
in the step (2), the middleware management platform uses a software upgrading process to upgrade specific software on the home gateway middleware module when the service is updated and the software version is updated.
15. The home gateway middleware-based media push service method of claim 11,
in the step (3), the middleware module interacts with the middleware management platform to manage the software module which is operated on the home gateway and is related to the service, and an application program calling interface and bottom layer service are provided for the application software module.
16. The home gateway middleware-based media push service method of claim 11,
the method is used for pushing media content and comprises at least one of the following steps: graphics, music, video.
