Abstract

技术领域
本发明一般地涉及对顾客提供服务的单一的饮料酿造系统，尤其是，涉及一改进的用于如此系统的过滤器筒。
背景技术
在美国专利Nos.5,325,765和5,840,189中揭示的已知类型的饮料过滤器筒中，锥形的过滤器元件对于饮料介质具有相当限制的储存容量。此外，过滤器元件的构造有利于液体快速地穿过并通过下端，在邻近于容器壁的过滤器元件的上部区域处造成饮料介质未达到最佳的饱和。有限储存容量和不够的最佳饱和两者组合的效果，会降低酿造饮料中总的溶解固体量(“TDS”)，这转化为滋味的减弱。
如共同未决、共同拥有的美国专利申请系列No.09/782,622中所显示的，在生成的酿造中提高TDS的努力中，通过将过滤器元件附件的高度降低到一重新构造的外容器壁上，可提高饮料介质的储存容量。尽管这的确提高了可供酿造的饮料介质量，但这样做法付出了代价，其也增加了接受较少最佳饱和的饮料介质量，单纯的效果在于酿造饮料的TDS显著地增加。

发明内容
根据本发明，一饮料过滤器筒具有一不渗透的杯形容器，其具有一底部和一侧壁，该侧壁向上发散到一围绕顶部开口的颈环。一过滤器元件具有一基本上平的底部和一向上发散到一上部凸缘的侧壁。所述过滤器元件被接纳在容器里，其底部向内与容器侧壁间隔并垂直地与容器底部间隔，使其上凸缘在周缘的连接处连接到容器侧壁的内部。容器内部因此被过滤器元件细分成一第一腔室和一第二腔室，前者通过容器的顶部开口可进入，而后者设置在垂直地间隔的过滤器和容器底部之间。过滤器侧壁具有外部通道，其面向容器侧壁的内部并从上述周缘的连接处通向第二腔室。一饮料介质通过容器顶部开口被接纳在第一腔室内，而一不渗透的盖密封到容器的颈环。该盖可刺破以允许液体进入到第一腔室内，以便冲击饮料介质而形成一饮料，过滤器元件可渗透而允许饮料通过其间流动，以便通过外部过滤器通道供应到第二腔室，容器底部可以被刺穿以允许饮料从筒中流出。现将参照诸附图详细地描述本发明上述的和其它的特征和优点。

具体实施方式
首先参照图1-4，一根据本发明一实施例的饮料过滤器筒显示为标号10。该筒包括一不渗透的杯形容器12，其具有一第一底部壁14和一第一侧壁16，该侧壁向上发散到一具有围绕顶部开口22的周缘唇20的颈环18。
如这里所采用的术语“不渗透的”是指基本上抵抗液体和气体通过其间。容器12可由市场上提供的许多材料中的任何一种形成，例如，聚苯乙烯、聚乙烯、聚丙烯、它们层合的复合物等。一过滤器元件24具有一基本上平的第二底部26和一向上发散到一上凸缘30的第二侧壁28。过滤器元件可透过液体，也可由市场上提供的材料形成，例如，纸或聚合物材料。过滤器元件24被接纳在容器12内，使其底部26向内与容器侧壁16间隔并垂直地与容器底壁14间隔。过滤器的上凸缘30通过在周缘连接32处的热密封而连接到頚环18附近的容器侧壁16的内部。当这样定位时，过滤器元件将容器内部细分为一通过容器顶部开口22可进入的第一腔室A和一设置在过滤器和容器底部26、14之间的第二腔室B。
过滤器侧壁28构造成提供外部通道34，其面向容器侧壁16的内部并从周缘连接32向下通向第二腔室B。较佳地，过滤器壁28设置成相对于容器壁16相交成小于约1°的角，最好为约0.5至0.9°之间的角度。
一饮料介质36通过容器顶部开口22被接纳在第一腔室A内，而一不渗透的盖38通过热密封连接到容器侧壁16的周缘唇20。
该盖可用塑料、金属箔，或它们的任何层合的复合物形成。根据传统的实践，通过在盖密封到位之前，引入惰性气体，例如，氮气，可从容器内部清除掉氧气。
腔室A的高度h1是筒内部高度h2的约75至80％之间。与基本上平的过滤器底部26组合，这可使饮料介质36的储存容量达到最大。
如图8所示，在酿造循环过程中，盖38被一管形的入口探棒40刺破。以允许加热的液体流入腔室A内，冲击饮料介质而形成一液体饮料。过滤器元件24的可渗透性允许饮料流过其间而流入第二腔室B内。通道34为渗透通过过滤器侧壁的饮料提供关键的退出通道，这样做有助于邻近于容器侧壁区域内的饮料介质达到全饱和。
容器底部14被一管形的出口探棒42刺破以适应饮料从筒中流出。过滤器底部26离容器底部14的垂直间隔确保过滤器得到保护以免被出口探棒42意外地刺破。
通道34通过过滤器侧壁的形成而设置有一如图1-4所示的凹槽结构。或者，例如，如图5-7中所示，通道34’可通过过滤器侧壁内摺裥44形成。当这样形成时，通道的宽度从过滤器上凸缘处的一最小值增加到过滤器底部处的一最大值。
尽管以上所述过滤器侧壁的凹槽和摺裥结构被认为是较佳的，但提供退出通道和通向第二腔室B内的过滤器侧壁和/或容器侧壁的任何其它结构也是可接受的，只要它们有助于过滤器侧壁上部区域内的流动通过。
过滤器元件上部区域内饮料介质的冲击可通过减小过滤器元件下部区域的渗透性得到进一步提高。如图9所示，例如，通过提供具有相同或类似材料制成的互补形状的插入件46的过滤器元件，即可实现上述要求。这将减缓饮料在下部过滤器区域内的渗透，而有利于提高在邻近于容器侧壁的上部区域内的渗透。
尽管以上的描述针对本发明特定的实施例，但本技术领域内的技术人员将会认识到，结合本发明的某些或全部的优点可以作出各种变化和修改。附后权利要求书的目的旨在涵盖落入本发明真正精神和范围内的所有如此的变化和修改。

Claims (13)

1.一饮料过滤器筒，包括：
一容器，具有一容器底部和一容器侧壁，该容器侧壁从所述容器底部向上延伸到一顶部开口；
一过滤器元件，具有一过滤器底部和一过滤器侧壁，该过滤器侧壁从所述过滤器底部向上延伸，所述过滤器元件被接纳在所述容器内，以及在周缘的连接处连接到所述容器侧壁的内部，所述容器内部因此被所述过滤器元件细分成一第一腔室和一第二腔室，第一腔室通过所述顶部的开口可进入，其中所述过滤器侧壁内的凹槽或褶皱形成导向至所述第二腔室的退出通道，所述退出通道位于所述容器侧壁和所述过滤器侧壁之间；
一饮料介质，通过所述顶部开口被接纳在所述第一腔室内；以及
一盖，关闭所述顶部开口，所述盖可刺破以允许液体进入到所述第一腔室内，以便接触所述饮料介质而形成一饮料，所述过滤器侧壁可渗透而允许所述饮料通过其流动，以便通过所述诸通道供应到所述第二腔室，以及所述容器底部可以被刺穿以允许所述饮料从所述筒中流出；
其中，所述过滤器底部垂直地与容器底部间隔。
2.如权利要求1所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，所述诸退出通道的宽度从邻近所述周缘连接处的最小宽度增加到邻近所述过滤器底部的最大宽度。
3.一饮料过滤器筒，包括：
一具有一侧壁和一底部的容器；以及
一具有一侧壁和一底部的过滤器元件，所述过滤器元件布置成将所述容器的内部细分成一第一腔室和一第二腔室，前者位于所述过滤器元件内，而后者设置在所述过滤器元件的外侧，所述过滤器元件在周缘连接处连接到容器侧壁，以及所述过滤器侧壁具有摺裥，所述过滤器侧壁具有可渗透的至少一部分以允许所述饮料通过其流动，并且所述过滤器侧壁布置成使所述过滤器侧壁的至少一部分向内与所述容器侧壁间隔，并脱开与所述容器侧壁接触，而且所述过滤器底部垂直地与容器底部间隔；以及
一盖闭合第一腔室的至少一部分。
4.如权利要求3所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，所述摺裥形成位于所述容器侧壁和所述过滤器侧壁之间的退出通道。
5.如权利要求1至4之一所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，所述容器和过滤器底部基本上平行。
6.如权利要求1至5之一所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，所述过滤器侧壁从所述周缘连接处向下延伸，远离所述容器侧壁交成一角度小于约1°。
7.如权利要求6所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，所述角度约在0.5°至0.9°之间。
8.如权利要求1至7之一所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，所述过滤器底部和所述盖之间测得的所述第一腔室的高度为所述容器底部和所述盖之间测量的所述筒的内部高度的约75至80％之间。
9.如权利要求1至8之一所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，与所述过滤器元件上部区域的渗透性相比，所述过滤器元件下部区域的渗透性减小。
10.如权利要求9所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，所述减小的渗透性通过增加所述下部区域内的所述过滤器元件的厚度来实现。
11.如权利要求10所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，所述增加的厚度通过用相同或相似的过滤器材料制造的杯形插入物内衬所述过滤器元件的下部区域来实现。
12.如权利要求1至11中任何一项所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，过滤器侧壁的大部分向内与容器侧壁间隔，并脱开与容器侧壁的接触。
13.如权利要求1至12中任何一项所述的饮料过滤器筒，其特征在于，所述容器不渗透，且所述盖也不渗透。
